KENZOKO produced his best effort so far when runner-up on his handicap debut over C&D and the handicapper has left him on the same mark. He has further assistance with Lewis Saunders taking 3lb off and this appears to be a winnable contest on paper. Lexie's Moon bounced back to form when second at Fontwell and she is capable of being in the mix. El Jefe completes the shortlist.

Preference is for well-handicapped class-dropper EL JEFE (nap), who kept on strongly for second at Haydock just before Christmas.

Respectable bumper form; this is easier than her latest Listed assignment.

TALES OF BRAVERY left behind a disappointing effort on his hurdling debut at Chepstow when finishing third here and Dan Skelton's gelding makes plenty of appeal with the likelihood of more to come. Halftheworldaway placed at Wetherby on Boxing Day and the drop in trip may see her in a better light. Others to note are hurdling newcomer Jet Steel and Up To Trix.

If ROSES ALL THE WAY can deliver her good bumper form over hurdles then she'd be up to winning a race like this.

JAIPALETEMPS continued his fine run of form when scoring in comfortable fashion at Taunton last week and the seven-year-old may prove a tough nut to crack in his bid for a fifth victory of the season. Sunnyvilla improved from his return at Haydock when finishing second at the same venue last month and he is likely to be competitive along with Xcitations.

Thriving 7yo JAIPALETEMPS continues to make good progress and is selected to extend his winning spree.

KARUMA GREY bounced back to form when filling second place at Ffos Las earlier in the month and a repeat of that level of form would give him a big chance here. My Noble Lord is capable of going well in a race of this nature and may benefit from the reapplication of cheekpieces. Master Breffni and Abbeydale are others to note.

None of these are entirely convincing. MY NOBLE LORD has the cheekpieces back on and he should go close if seeing out the trip.

This looks stronger than the Fakenham handicap he won but going further should suit.

Effective over 2m1f on soft, and a longer trip looks a plus based on point form. More to come now handicapping. No backward step when beaten under a penalty last time; makes handicap debut.

Effective around 2 1/2m and acts on heavy, soft, and good to soft. In good form and should come on for that run, with more to offer. Lightly raced 10yo who has been competitive in all his handicap hurdles from 2m3f to 3m.

Effective at 2m and suited by cut in the ground. Showed promise in France, though this mark demands more. He should come on for his run in an Ayr maiden, especially now sent further.

Codetalker has to be respected following his Fakenham success shortly before Christmas, but marginal preference is for GEGE VILLE. The 10-year-old made the frame at Haydock on his return and he is entitled to improve significantly for that outing. In The Age is likely to be popular on his handicap debut after his Catterick win, while Orderoftheday completes the shortlist.

Although WARRIORS DESTINY was well held when third in a Warwick maiden last time, that form is working out positively.

Aboutdamntime failed to supplement his Catterick triumph when third at Wetherby, but that was still a good effort and he remains of interest. Jo Coko sports first-time cheekpieces after finishing third of four at Newcastle and is noted, but PAPER MILL gets the nod. Stuart Edmunds' veteran struck by more than three lengths over track and trip and considering the manner of that success, he could go in again.

Mount Gay Run is feared but the form of PAPER MILL's win here two months ago looks very solid.
