13:37 Uttoxeter (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DIGNAM could not have done it any easier on his hurdles bow at Newton Abbot last weekend and he is taken to uphold form with Manyana Blue (third) under a 7lb penalty. A promising third on his debut in this sphere at Tipperary earlier in the month, Junkyard Dog has since joined the Iain Jardine yard and must enter calculations. Zaraquelle could be an interesting recruit to the James Owen stable, with Sean Bowen a notable booking.

It's hard to see beyond DIGNAM, who was the best of these on the Flat and won with a lot left in the tank on his recent hurdling debut.

14:07 Uttoxeter (Class 5) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GETMETOTHEMOON displayed a willing attitude to score narrowly at Plumpton in February and returning to better ground should not inconvenience as she attempts to follow up off a mere 2lb higher mark. Quick Of The Night had Bluebella less than a length behind in second when scoring at Worcester and may be able to uphold that form, despite being 3lb worse off. Others to note include Jlow, Pacific and Queens Wish.

The suggestion is JLOW, who has been knocking on the door for her new stable in recent weeks and sports first-time cheekpieces today.

14:37 Uttoxeter (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A taking winner of a valuable event at Kelso in March, LELOOPA looks well capable of going in again on the drop in class, despite a hefty 10lb rise. Runner-up over C&D last time out, the in-form Time Interval is expected to be thereabouts again, as is comfortable Stratford winner Realistic Optimism, who drops in trip off a 5lb higher mark. Stroll On By may also have a say in proceedings.

Olly Murphy's 7yo VOCITO ran well from the front when third at Worcester last month and that form looks very solid.

15:07 Uttoxeter (Class 2) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Village Master hasn't looked back since undergoing a wind procedure and commands respect in his bid to land a four-timer. A 4lb rise for his latest triumph at Worcester isn't too much of a concern, but ART OF DIPLOMACY is slightly more compelling. Mickey Bowen's gelding arrives at the top of his game judged on his recent C&D victory and looks capable of defying a 10lb hike. The returning Young Buster is the pick of the remainder.

A competitive chase as expected but YOUNG BUSTER got off lightly with just a 4lb nudge for winning so easily at Kempton in the spring.

SAINT BIBIANA found further improvement in first-time cheekpieces when completing a hat-trick over C&D. Georgina Nicholls' mare got the better of reopposing runner-up Minella Rescue and scored with enough to hand to suggest she can confirm her superiority. Keel Strand looks to have a bright future too and isn't taken lightly in his bid to land a four-timer, for all that this rise in class asks for more.

After winning three at Newton Abbot, Paul Nicholls' improving 5yo KEEL STRAND (nap) is taken to overcome this rise in grade.

16:07 Uttoxeter (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Raby Mere lost little in defeat when touched off at Perth and he must enter the reckoning now debuting over fences. However, this step into 0-120 company could leave him vulnerable, with ASLUKWOODHAVIT getting the call. Mickey Bowen's charge offered plenty of encouragement in first-time cheekpieces when staying on in third over an extended 2m at Newton Abbot and a return to 2m4f could prove fruitful. Five-time chase winner Midnight Jewel is a feasible alternative.

Plenty have chances but KILMURRY JJ may well improve on his never-dangerous finish here last time when given plenty to do.

16:37 Uttoxeter (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PRESENT FAIR won over a longer trip at Bangor on his latest start, having gone close when last seen over C&D back in May. There looks more to come from Donald McCain's charge and he can defy a 4lb rise. Perth winner Dalileo drops in distance and class after a third at the same venue. He could be in the mix, although Fontwell runner-up Gold Link looks more favourably treated over timber given he's won off a much higher mark over fences in the past.

If the first-time tongue-tie can trigger something then JACK'S JURY might be the answer after running well in all his handicaps.

17:07 Uttoxeter (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SIXTY PLUS makes most appeal in an open affair. James Owen's inmate completed a brace at Worcester just three days ago, landing the odds with the minimum of fuss, and can strike again while the iron is hot. Crystal Mer has been in fine form over 2m here and steps up in trip with a shout. La Quarite returned the facile winner over fences at Newton Abbot a week ago and can race off the same mark back over the smaller obstacles.

Preference is for CRYSTAL MER who last time would have made it 2-2 here for Hughie Morrison had he got his skates on earlier.

Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
