12:25 Uttoxeter (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Fergal O'Brien sent out last year's winner and DREAM SHADOW gets the vote on her hurdling debut. She's shown plenty of ability in bumpers, having placed in a couple of Listed contests, and the half-sister to several winning hurdlers could prove the one to side with. Runner-up in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree, La Conquiere is another to note now hurdling, while Crystal Days, Twistthenightaway and Appleshaw have place claims.

The suggestion is LA CONQUIERE, who was a very creditable second in a hot Aintree bumper on her stable debut in April.

12:55 Uttoxeter (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Heeztheboy returned to action with a convincing success at Hexham earlier in the month. He could feature again, despite a 9lb hike, while Scottish King made a promising debut over fences when runner-up over 3m here and is worthy of respect. However, STARDHEM won two of his three starts over fences last season and, having beaten a couple of subsequent winners when scoring at Huntingdon in March, Ben Pauling's charge gets the vote on the strength of that form.

A subsequent 2lb rise could turn out to be lenient for KINGOFTHESWINGERZ, who produced a good late surge to win on his chasing debut.

13:25 Uttoxeter (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

TOP JIMMY just prevailed when scoring over 2m here on his hurdling bow. He's penalised for that success, but this extra test of stamina will likely bring improvement and his yard remains in fine form. Second over hurdles at Warwick in May, Big Boy Barney has a shout with a recent comeback run under his belt, while Just Golden and Coastal Command represent powerful yards and should be noted on their first starts over timber.

Dan Skelton's JUST GOLDEN won a Chepstow bumper fairly comfortably in February and gets the nod.

13:55 Uttoxeter (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Experience could prove crucial and MAXIMUM OFFERS brings plenty, having scored at Huntingdon in March before a creditable second over further at Newcastle to end last season. Related to a couple of winners in this sphere and an 80,000-pound purchase after scoring in a point-to-point last November, Home Made Hero is narrowly preferred to the Dan Skelton-trained Kilbakanto of the newcomers.

The two Irish point winners look interesting but MAXIMUM OFFERS ended last season with two good hurdle runs and might be the answer.

14:30 Uttoxeter (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

An impressive winner at Warwick when last seen in May, THE LONG WALK could be well treated off a mark of 113 on his handicap debut. Raised 5lb for a taking success at Fontwell in March, Ilitch must enter calculations on his comeback run, along with Jackpot Cash. As Legends Have It and John Barbour cannot be ruled out either.

Nicely in command in the closing stages of a 2m1f handicap in March, ILITCH can probably improve again over longer trips this season.

15:05 Uttoxeter (Class 3) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

LUMP SUM was much the best of these over hurdles, having finished runner-up in both the William Hill Hurdle and Fighting Fifth last season, and he looks to have been found an ideal opportunity for his chasing bow. The seven-year-old goes well fresh and is preferred to Vanderpoel, who had looked an exciting prospect before something went amiss when pulling up at Kelso in March. On the back of a second wind surgery after scoring at Perth in April, Junker D'allier is another intriguing sort on his chasing debut.

Lump Sum has the best hurdling form but front-runner JAX JUNIOR is selected in the hope he quickly gets into a good jumping rhythm.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Diesel Line hit the frame over C&D recently when attempting to follow up on his earlier triumph but, while he is one of the likelier candidates, preference is for CAWTHORNE BANKER. Also a winner over track and trip two starts ago, he was well beaten at Stratford the following day when Jonjo O'Neill Jr failed to weigh in subsequently. The Flemensfirth gelding has been given almost two weeks off since though, and is expected to bounce back. Tigers Moon can chase the pair home.

Progressive for his new stable this season and very well suited by this C&D, DIESEL LINE (nap) can record his third win of the campaign.

16:15 Uttoxeter (Class 5) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Plains Drifter, second on his Rules debut in March, is likely to prove popular but the vote goes to MAGS OCEAN. The son of Crystal Ocean is out of a three-time bumper winner, so it would come as no surprise were he to launch a serious challenge. Kaydence shaped with promise on her racecourse bow in May and must enter calculations, along with the Nicky Henderson-trained Independent Lady.

Dan Skelton's newcomer MAGS OCEAN is bred to be a useful bumper performer and gets the vote.
