11/8(+21%) | (4) The Long Walk 11/8, Raced freely comfortably held in a novice hurdle over 2m4f at Cheltenham last time; this easier; form of debut placed effort franked emphatically; contender This would be a lot easier than the Cheltenham Class 2 of last time; can take advantage.. |

4th (1) (100/1 -100%)Beau Gold |
100/1(-100%) | (1) Beau Gold 100/1, Down the field in a maiden hurdle over 2m at Ffos Las most recent; returning from a break; up in trip; difficult to fancy and clear stable second string Looked in need of more time when fading right out of a bumper and maiden hurdle last term.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

28/1(-75%) | (2) Jefe Triunfo 28/1, Below par well beaten in a bumper over 2m2f at Plumpton latest; usually consistent in that sphere; longer trip should suit; outside chance on hurdle debut Worcester bumper winner two years ago (2m, good); related to 2m-2m6f jumps scorers.. |

6th (3) (12/1 +14%)Pillar The Poet |
12/1(+14%) | (3) Pillar The Poet 12/1, Comfortably held in a maiden hurdle over 2m at Hereford last time; yet to match bumper form; not proven trip; bit to find and needs this for a mark Looked ready for this sort of trip at Hereford latest (2m); likelier one for handicaps.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having found only two progressive rivals too strong at Plumpton in March, TWO TO TANGO makes grand appeal reverting to maiden company. A similar performance from Emma Lavelle's gelding may see him open his account, possibly at the main expense of The Long Walk. The five-year-old will find this easier than his latest Cheltenham assignment and he should make his presence felt, along with Newton Abbot second Roadshow.

Back in a more comfortable grade, recent Cheltenham sixth THE LONG WALK can gain a first hurdles win ahead of Roadshow.

5/1(-122%) | (5) Rukaana 5/1, Did not get a clear run beaten 2l off 88 over 2m1f at Market Rasen last time where looked unlucky loser; up 4lb but well treated on juvenile form; could make amends Unlucky not to fare a lot better than a 2l second latest (hampered); back up 4lb.. |

16/1(+27%) | (2) Birthday Angel 16/1, Below par beaten 6l in a handicap over 12f at Kempton last time; well treated on hurdle debut form; not fully exposed; outside chance if jumping holds up Initial mark looks plausible judged on the form of his Plumpton debut effort; respected.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (6) (18/1 -29%)Now I Know |
18/1(-29%) | (6) Now I Know 18/1, Fourth beaten 34l in a maiden hurdle at Plumpton latest where finished well; significant jockey booking; must progress again to shed maiden tag on handicap debut Temperament often to the fore over hurdles, and initial mark doesn't look a gift.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

James Owen has enjoyed some good success with his stable debutants of late and Mr Le Philosophe must be monitored in the betting with champion jockey Sean Bowen booked to ride. However, recent Market Rasen runner-up RUKAANA rates as the most solid proposition after meeting trouble in running in that contest. Iolaos Du Mou and Cusano are others to consider in their current form.

Value for closer in a better race latest, CUSANO can upset the Owen debutant Mr Le Philosophe and unlucky Rasen second Rukaana.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (10/11 +67%)Ballynaheer |
10/11(+67%) | (3) Ballynaheer 10/11, Bit below par beaten 2l off 85 over 3m here last time unsuited by way race developed; that hinted at revival; minor chance 0-7 over fences but stayed on for close third over C&D last month; one to consider. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (4/1 +64%)Calagogo |
4/1(+64%) | (4) Calagogo 4/1, Improved effort second beaten 8 1/2l in a beginners chase chase over 2m4f here latest; likely flattered but potentially thrown in back in a handicap; very interesting Didn't run badly on last two appearances but others have more pressing claims all the same. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The application of first-time cheekpieces enabled an improved performance from PRIDE OF PARIS when finishing a close-up second at Uttoxeter earlier this month. That was only his third appearance over the larger obstacles and there could be more to come. Calagogo was far from disgraced when recently second to Doyen Quest here and he warrants respect reverting to handicap company. Ballynaheer could also feature.

Low-mileage 7yo PRIDE OF PARIS went down fighting at Uttoxeter 18 days ago and gets the nod here in the hope he can build on that run.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (6/1 -20%)Sayva |
6/1(-20%) | (2) Sayva 6/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle over 2m5f at Kelso latest where went too fast; enjoys making it; down in trip; off a short-break; others look better treated Dual novice winner last season; flopped on latest outing but may still have potential. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (33/1 -560%)In This World |
33/1(-560%) | (4) In This World 33/1, Well backed second beaten 8l in a handicap chase over 2m1f at Stratford latest; returning from long layoff; good mark on chase form; best watched on stable debut In good form over fences for Dan Skelton in early part of last season; stable debut today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (7) (11/2 +50%)Commanding View |
11/2(+50%) | (7) Commanding View 11/2, Below par comfortably held in a handicap hurdle over 2m1f at Bangor-on-Dee last time unsuited by rain softened ground; usually consistent; squeak back on better ground Back on a workable mark now but needs to rebound from below-par run four weeks ago. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Time Interval made every yard of the running to score by just under four lengths at Stratford earlier in the month, but this represents a step up in grade. With that in mind, IN THIS WORLD gets the vote. The seven-year-old filled the runner-up spot in a stronger event at Stratford (fences) when last seen and now makes his first start for the Rob Summers stable. If picking up from where he left off last summer, he could be the one to beat. Ukantango completes the shortlist.

This might go to UKANTANGO, who returned from a layoff with a perfectly respectable run last month and has slipped to a tempting mark.

7/1(+61%) | (5) Tribesmans Glory 7/1, Pulled up in a handicap chase over 2m5f at Newton Abbot latest where hated the heavy ground; inconsistent; could figure back on better ground if bringing best Won this in 2024 and ran big race at Chepstow two starts ago; respected. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A DUBLIN JOB comfortably completed a double when scoring by 11 lengths at Market Rasen in June last year and makes his return off a 12lb higher mark. The son of Ask goes well fresh and could remain unbeaten over fences, with his main danger possibly being Davidoc after his runner-up effort over track and trip on his most recent start. Gwennie May Star is next best.

Preference is for DAVIDOC (nap), who gave a very good account of himself over C&D last month and remains on a workable mark.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (8/1 +43%)Clondaw Royale |
8/1(+43%) | (5) Clondaw Royale 8/1, Down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m7f at Uttoxeter most recent; down in trip; off a short-break; may find ground on the quick side once again Soft-ground winner during winter; ended last season with disappointing run on good ground. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GETALEAD wasn't disgraced in third when sporting first-time blinkers at Newton Abbot last week and goes off the same mark. The nine-year-old looks to have been found a nice opportunity to record his fourth course victory. King Of The Road could only manage sixth in a tougher contest at Chepstow in January, but will appreciate this easier assignment and may have a say. Crystal Glance is another to note.

The Greenall and Guerriero stable holds a strong hand here and the riding arrangements suggest MR YEATS could be the their main hope.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
