|F| (4) (5/2 +9%)Joan's Choice |
5/2(+9%) | (4) Joan's Choice 5/2, Ran to form, still a touch green under pressure when winning a Mares bumper at Plumpton by 2l last time; off a short-break; effective 2m-2m2f, acts on soft, good to soft; bumper win franked; more to come now hurdling. Bumper winner who brings potential to her hurdle debut and could have a big part to play. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Point winner Sallyville Lady has yet to open her account over hurdles but she has posted a number of creditable efforts in defeat. Dan Skelton's mare should go close again, as might Biglesisback, who had been knocking at the door prior to being pulled up at Ayr. That being said, a chance can be taken on JOAN'S CHOICE, who would appear to have a big future in this sphere having won a bumper in comfortable fashion at Plumpton in December.

Point winner SALLYVILLE LADY is taken to get off the mark under rules, having finished in the first three on all three hurdle starts.

7/1(-100%) | (1) Geryville 7/1, Went clear, returned to form off reduced mark landing a handicap by 4l off a 7lb lower mark here last time; enjoys making it; off a short-break; effective 2m4f-3m, suited by some cut, likes Wetherby; back in form but career high mark to defy. 10yo who has never won off a mark but this high but he did it nicely over C&D last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (14/1 -75%)No But I Will |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (9/1 -29%)Arthur's Quay |

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GERYVILLE often reserves his best for this C&D and he remains competitively treated from 7lb higher than when winning here last time. William Cody went close at Southwell most recently and the consistent gelding is expected to run well once more along with the in-form No But I Will. Also keep in mind Rath Gaul Hill, who has the assistance of Sean Bowen for the first time.

Having finished a clear second to a progressive winner at Southwell last time, WILLIAM CODY is taken to go one better today.

12/1(+0%) | (1) Sweeper System 12/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle here latest; off a short-break; effective 2m; penultimate form franked, still early days in handicaps, could bounce back. Pulled up here on handicap debut but the shorter trip & forecast better ground could help. |

11/2(+8%) | (10) Big Love 11/2, Outpaced, ran to form comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Catterick last time; may need more time over hurdles. Yet to show much but h'cap debut provides him with a more realistic chance; watch market. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

12/1(+76%) | (2) Justus 12/1, Yard won this last year; may not have stayed well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Newcastle latest; trainer in form; effective at 2m on soft, good; bounce back needed. Continues to drop down the weights but he's struggled this winter. |

Has potential off lowly opening jumps mark judged on Flat ability; wind op since last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (17/2 -21%)Golden Millie |
17/2(-21%) | (4) Golden Millie 17/2, Needed run after lay off and wind op well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Chepstow latest; second run after wind op; effective over 2m, acts on heavy and good to soft; promise in novice and maidens before long absence, retained ability to prove. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) (14/1 -17%)Mystical Martika |
14/1(-17%) | (5) Mystical Martika 14/1, Bled when comfortably held in a novice hurdle at Hexham last time; off a short-break; effective 2m; only modest form so far. Yet to threaten but lightly raced and in good hands; not discounted. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Berry Edge bolted up over C&D last time out and he merits respect with that performance still fresh in the memory. An 8lb rise shouldn't be a barrier to further success, but the inclusion of ICE JET might be. The Phoenix Of Spain gelding enters handicaps from what looks a workable mark and it would come as no surprise were he to progress. Roland Garros can chase the pair home.

The 4yo ICE JET could leave his juvenile hurdle form well behind now moving into a handicap following wind surgery.

(1) (11/8 -51%)Kalhandrion |
11/8(-51%) | (1) Kalhandrion 11/8, Improved up in trip in first time cheekpieces landing a handicap by 4l off a 4lb lower mark at Exeter last time; effective 2 1/2-3m, acts on heavy and good to soft; in good form since switching to fences, looks thorough stayer, bit more to come. Made it 2-5 over fences at Exeter last month and this progressive 6yo holds strong claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(2) (9/4 +36%)Eaton Anne |
9/4(+36%) | (2) Eaton Anne 9/4, Outpaced, ran to form seeing out the longer trip on chase debut comfortably held in a handicap chase at Chepstow last time; cheekpieces first time; effective 2 1/2-3m; should have more to offer over fences. His chase debut 5th gives him something to build on and perhaps the cheekpieces will help. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(4) (7/2 +0%)The Grey Man |
7/2(+0%) | (4) The Grey Man 7/2, Did it cosily, improved jumping much better under positive ride, beat very little landing a handicap by 24l off a 4lb lower mark at Ffos Las last time; effective 2m-2m4f with cut; progressing over fences. Easily made all at Ffos Las recently; this is stronger but he could have more to offer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(3) (6/1 +8%)Jack To Bat |
6/1(+8%) | (3) Jack To Bat 6/1, Outpaced, needed run on chase debut comfortably held in a handicap chase at Chepstow last time; cheekpieces first time; effective 2 1/2m; could improve for longer trip but mark demands it. Tailed off on chase debut but may have needed the run; not ruled out for in-form yard. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

This looks to be between the two recent winners, with KALHANDRION boasting the strongest form. Richard Hobson's charge made every yard to land a higher grade chase at Exeter last month and a 4lb rise doesn't look insurmountable in this company. The Grey Man will likely give the selection the most to think about arriving on the back of an easy win at Ffos Las, while Eaton Anne makes more appeal than Jack To Bat of the remaining pair.

Kalhandrion is a temptingly solid option but point runner-up JACK TO BAT could have untapped potential as a staying chaser.

Won Catterick maiden and this unexposed 7yo could prove to be superior to his opening mark. |

11/2(+61%) | (10) Ladronne 11/2, Scored by 3l off a 4lb higher mark at Catterick penultimate start; ran to form, conceded first run second beaten 4 1/2l off 118 last time, 8lb lower here; effective 2m5f-3m; back in form this year and well treated on chase efforts. Encouraging stable debut over fences at Hereford; lower mark to work with over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(3) (9/1 -20%)Into The Park |
9/1(-20%) | (3) Into The Park 9/1, Outpaced, looked in need of stiffer test, race may have come too soon when fourth beaten 15l in a handicap hurdle at Catterick latest; blinkers first time; effective 2-2 1/2m; inconsistent but could bounce back up in distance. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(7) (150/1 -355%)Dramatic License |
150/1(-355%) | (7) Dramatic License 150/1, Outpaced, ran to form but never threatened comfortably held in Novice Hurdle (Listed) at Limerick last time; effective 2-2 1/2m, suited by sound surface; in good form, worth a try at staying trips. Won maiden h'dle last August; improvement necessary off this mark on stable/handicap debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Libre De Choeur won a shade cosily at Ffos Las to open his account over hurdles. He has scope for further improvement, but HAWTHORN STREET is another unexposed type likely to make a bold bid. The son of Flemensfirth landed a maiden hurdle at Catterick last month and should have more to offer now handicapping with his yard in fine form of late. Tiger Orchid and Ladronne revert to hurdling off lower marks with the former marginally preferred.

The very lightly raced 7yo HAWTHORN STREET (nap) won a maiden hurdle at Catterick last month and can follow up on this handicap debut.

It could pay to stick with the promising MINELLA PREMIER in this. The point-to-point winner scored with plenty left in the tank at Fontwell on his Rules debut and Charlie Maggs' 3lb allowance further helps his cause. Peace Belle could improve on her recent third at Newcastle and may feature, while L'unique Allen and stablemate Mr Maximillian are worth noting given Olly Murphy's yard has won three of the last four renewals of this race.

Point winner MINELLA PREMIER created a very good impression when winning on his bumper debut at Fontwell last month.

This is the 16:15 Kempton race from the video above backed at 28/1 earlier in the day.
Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
