11:10 Wetherby (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ADE BOY could hardly have won his bumper any easier at Navan on debut in September and his new connections waste no time in sending him over hurdles. Assuming he takes to his new discipline, Charlie Longsdon's charge is taken to have Caballo De Guerra's measure. The latter drops in class but does have a penalty for winning at Kelso. Liberty Coach completes the shortlist.

This could be a good race. CABALLO DE GUERRA wasn't seen to best effect in a conditions hurdle at Cheltenham last time.

11:40 Wetherby (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CATCHIM disappointed favourite backers at Southwell last time out but it was another solid effort in defeat and going back up in trip should suit here. Mutual Respect boasts a similar profile to the selection and cannot be overlooked on the back of his latest third at Lingfield, while The Jad Factor won easily on his final start of last season at Kelso.

Chasing debutante IRISANTE could be dangerous as a 4yo filly in receipt of all the allowances. Catchim is second choice.

12:17 Wetherby (Class 3) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A trappy handicap for punters to solve and just a tentative vote is for KILBARRY HILL. He wasn't at his best on his chase/seasonal bow at Carlisle last month, but represents an in-form yard and is entitled to improve for that first start over fences. If Not For Dylan unseated his rider in the Grand Sefton at Aintree last month and could easily bounce back, while Carrig Kate is noted too.

If SOME SCOPE can return to the form he showed in winning last season's Rowland Meyrick here then he could be troublesome.

12:50 Wetherby (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having fallen over fences at Kelso on his penultimate start, CHASE A FORTUNE appreciated the switch to hurdles when beaten a head at Carlisle. Chris Grant's gelding went up 3lb for that effort and may find further improvement for the application of cheekpieces. Similar comments apply to Double Oban, who is taken to leave his Newbury return behind him, and Kingston Narcissus is another capable of being in the mix.

Double Oban could prove a different proposition with a run behind him but the most solid option is CHASE A FORTUNE (nap).

13:25 Wetherby (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Fern Hill has turned a corner recently with the 10-year-old recording back-to-back victories at Uttoxeter and Huntingdon, having previously not won since November 2022. He is respected off a 3lb higher mark, but the less-exposed EXPRESS SURPRISE gets the vote after a solid return effort at Lingfield. The six-year-old should have more to offer on just his fifth start over fences. Gold Emery and Visual Impact head the remainder.

The 6yo EXPRESS SURPRISE looked good on the last day he encountered soft ground and his reappearance effort was promising.

13:57 Wetherby (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Mac's Max filled the runner-up spot on his racecourse bow at Newcastle where Striking Midnight finished one place behind and the pair are expected to be in the mix once again. It wouldn't be a surprise if softer conditions saw the latter reverse the form, but COTTON SOCKS is preferred. He raced keenly on debut when second at Huntingdon and the application of a hood might help to make the difference.

The newcomers need checking in the betting but COTTON SOCKS ran perfectly well at Huntingdon when strong in the market.
