THE MAN'S ROOM should appreciate this step-up in trip. He caught the eye when finishing strongly over 2m at Limerick in May, ultimately having to settle for the runner-up berth. Second and third to Net Boy at Ballinrobe, Kamikaz Du Plessis and Noticebox renew rivalry. The Gordon Elliott-trained former went down by just half-a-length at the Co Mayo circuit, and with that experience under his belt it'll come as no surprise if he manages to go a place better now. Rated 116 and narrowly beaten on recent starts, Dream Diamond is of definite interest, while Following Orders and the Willie Mullins-trained Quarry Tiepy are others that warrant respect.

Gordon Elliott's KAMIKAZ DU PLESSIS makes the most appeal here following his second at Ballinrobe after a break

EASTMORE is of interest on his return from a break. Well-backed when beaten a neck into second at Down Royal in August, he failed to make an impact in subsequent starts at Killarney and Dundalk, but is worth chancing here. While he flopped when turned out again quickly after winning over course and distance on his penultimate start, Splendid Choice is given the chance to redeem himself, while others of interest in this weak affair are Highland Earl, Phoenix Cowboy and four-time winner Prince Of Air.

A much better chaser, PRINCE OF AIR has to be given plenty of respect back hurdling off a 20lb lower mark

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (10) (100/1 -300%)Ladybela |
100/1(-300%) | (10) Ladybela 100/1, Below par well beaten in a maiden hurdle over 2m at Tramore latest; absent for very lengthy period; bit to find off stiff opening mark Not much to take from 3 maidens on softer ground; hard to make a case for on handicap bow. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|DQ| (5) (15/2 -25%)Onebrightbluerose |
15/2(-25%) | (5) Onebrightbluerose 15/2, Travelled, ran to form scored by 4l off 81 here penultimate start; ran to form third beaten 8l off 89 last time; top jockey back on board; consistent; should remain competitive Dual C&D winner ran well off this mark at Clonmel; shortlisted. |

Reportedly in-foal to Mahler, ONEBRIGHTBLUEROSE might be able to register a third course win. Successful at this Bettyville circuit in May, she since finished a solid third at Clonmel and has been no worse than fourth on her last six starts. A case can be made for many others in this competitive affair, with top-weight Hatfield Hammer sure to have plenty of supporters. A winner over the course and distance on his latest start, it'll come as no surprise if the locally-trained six-year-old manages to follow-up. In the care of Benny Walsh and set to be partnered by his nephew, Tramore runner-up Menas Miracle is of definite interest, while others for the shortlist are Aussie Warrior, Pleasureofpressure and Good Bye Milan.

The drop in trip suited HATFIELD HAMMER over C&D in May and the 6yo could be worthing stay with here despite a 9lb rise

STAY GOLD clearly relished the step up in trip at Punchestown last month, ultimately going down by just a nose. The 116-rated bay was unlucky not to have been awarded that contest in the stewards room, after he was slightly bumped by the winner in the closing stages. Now tackling 3m for the first time and back in maiden company, he looks the one to beat. Subsequently disqualified after his October triumph at this venue, Empire Succes has definite claims, while William Butler is another leading hope. Expensive purchases after point-to-point wins, Coumeenoole and Additional Time both warrant respect, with the latter on a retrieval mission after flopping at Listowel. .

The trip of this race should suit STAY GOLD (nap) very nicely after he has appeared all stamina in his last two runs

HMS SEAHORSE bounced back to form when successful in first-time blinkers at Clonmel last month. This race was earmarked by Paul Nolan in the aftermath of that Powerstown Park success, and it'll be interesting to see how the son of Galileo fares on his initial try over fences. Disappointing since completing a hat-trick in the UK last season, the Willie Mullins-trained Fine Margin warrants the utmost respect on his return from a break. A respectable 13th of 26 in the Coral Cup, Al Gasparo will need to bounce back from a below-par effort at Ballinrobe if he is to feature. Gordon Elliott saddles both Harsh and Gers Gigi, with Jack Kennedy set to partner the 130-rated former. Placed on two of his last three starts, the five-year-old grey should be able to make his presence felt.

A hurdles winner last time following the addition of blinkers, HMS SEAHORSE, is a big player if he can transfer his ability to fences

9th (1) (22/1 -10%)Visionarian |
22/1(-10%) | (1) Visionarian 22/1, Yard won this last year; pulled up in Colm Quinn BMW Handicap Chase (Grade 3) at Punchestown latest; off a short-break; formrely classy; Graded winner in autumn; outside claims off top weight Winner of small-field Grade 2; poor runs since, inc' PU last time at Punchestown festival. |

10th (11) (17/2 -42%)Nt Field Minnesota |
17/2(-42%) | (11) Nt Field Minnesota 17/2, Returned to form down in grade back from break beaten 3l off 114 at Kilbeggan last time; trainer in form; good mark on debut win; may prefer bit further but threat if getting stiff test 2lb wrong; bounced back from poor runs when third last time; others preferred. |

As a Grade 2 winner, Visionarian sets the standard, but has been disappointing in recent times and is difficult to fancy with any great confidence. Fascile Mode is another in search of a moral boosting win, and it'll be interesting to see if first time cheekpieces have the desired effect. For a selection, SHE'S A FINE WINE gets the nod. Doing well to peg back the front-running Kilashee at Kilbeggan on her latest start, she had the re-opposing Nt Field Minnesota three-lengths behind. Twice successful from four starts at Thurles over the winter months, That's About Right warrants the utmost respect on his return, while Clarens is another leading hope. An easy winner over the course and distance in April, Lightkeeper is capable of making an impact if putting his best foot forward.

The increased distance of this race can help CLARENS overcome his 5lb rise for winning at Tramore last time

11th (13) (66/1 -100%)Annie Questions |
66/1(-100%) | (13) Annie Questions 66/1, Below form, outpaced down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m1f at Tipperary most recent; off a short-break; longer trip a plus; big ask switched to fences Modest form in points' and over hurdles; unlikely one to make an immediate impact chasing. |

13th (1) (10/3 +33%)Burru |
10/3(+33%) | (1) Burru 10/3, Improved up in trip on chase return just tiring late back from break second beaten 4 1/2l in a handicap chase over 3m1f at Roscommon latest just outstayed late; good mark on hurdle form; strong claims down in trip at stiff track Roscommon second for whom return to this trip could suit and unchanged mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (3) (66/1 -100%)Miss Oreo |
66/1(-100%) | (3) Miss Oreo 66/1, Stopped quickly, may need easier ground, went too fast down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m at Tramore most recent; generally out of form; bit to find Maiden chaser doesn't appear to be improving and opposable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
15th (11) (25/1 +24%)The Virginian |
25/1(+24%) | (11) The Virginian 25/1, Below par down the field in a handicap hurdle at Punchestown most recent; generally out of form; bit to find and may need further Chasing and hurdling recently to no avail; handicapper relenting but hard to fancy. |

It's difficult to look beyond MAY CALL YOU BACK. Successful by a length-and-three-quarters at Tipperary on Tuesday, but value for much more, she received a 14lb hike in the handicap. Carrying just a 7lb winners penalty here, it'll be disappointing if she fails to come out on top. Five lengths behind the selection on Tuesday, Crowsatedappletart has been no worse than fourth on his last seven starts and should run another solid race. Second on his return to action at Roscommon last month, Burru looks capable of making his presence felt, while others for the shortlist are handicap debutant Midnight Moonshine, Tramore runner-up Roman Parish and the Philip Rothwell-trained Warm In Gorey.

Making a quick return after a comfortable Tipperary win on Tuesday, MAY CALL YOU BACK can defy a mandatory 7lb penalty

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (1) (14/1 -27%)I Give Theorders |
14/1(-27%) | (1) I Give Theorders 14/1, Pulled up in a maiden over 3m at Portrush latest; placed in a point prior; returning from long layoff; all to do on hurdle debut Placed on point' debut but pulled up at Portrush in October. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (15) (10/1 -25%)Osborne Park |
10/1(-25%) | (15) Osborne Park 10/1, Sageburg gelding; half-brother to Windsor Avenue, smart at 20f; tongue-tie first time; best watched Half-brother to 3 bumper winners; tongue-tied for debut; reserve. |

Out of Little Mitch, who won twice at this venue, it might be worth taking a chance on the locally-trained debutant TINTO DE VERANO. A half-brother to Punchestown Festival winner Thisistheway, who was herself successful on debut at Wexford, John Gleeson is a positive jockey booking on the Latta homebred. The Willie Mullins-trained North Moon is another debutant of note and is a half-brother to Raffles Face, a Grade 3 winner over flights in France. Second at Kilbeggan and Listowel respectively, Ozark's Walk and Soldiers World both warrant respect, while it'll be interesting to see how I Give Theorders fares representing last year's winning connections. Unseating at the last when still in with every chance on debut at Downpatrick in May, The Cistercian is another for the shortlist.

With a record of 7 winners from 8 runners in bumpers this season it is hard to overlook the Willie Mullins-trained newcomer NORTH MOON
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
