KOOL ONE gained a second win on the Flat when successful over 1m4f at Roscommon last week and reverts to hurdles with strong claims. The Conor Maxwell-trained gelding showed useful placed form over timber last season, including when runner-up in a Grade 3 at Naas. Dschingis Dragon won on the Flat in France and merits respect having kept on into third behind Billie Frechette in a Cork maiden hurdle last month. Kilt held a rating of 92 after winning on the level for William Haggas last year, while Stay In The Game is another interesting recruit to hurdles.

A maiden with seemingly plenty of dead wood and the best opportunity yet for KOOL ONE

SPLENDID CHOICE won here in May and looked set to add to his tally at Kilbeggan earlier this month, only to be caught close home. The form of that race has been boosted since and he remains on a competitive mark. Paul's Dream went close at this venue last month and has been a beaten favourite on both outings since, including when fourth back here. No Big Deal was well backed when runner-up in a Flat handicap at Leopardstown and rates an obvious threat if translating that improvement back to hurdles.

Reunited with Tiernan Power Roche, SPLENDID CHOICE can record a second C&D win of the campaign

TEENAGE KISS was the subject of strong support on her handicap debut when a creditable third to Mephisto and Knockraha Eagle over C&D. The form of that race could hardly be working out better as the first two have both won since, while the fourth scored at Ballinrobe on Monday. The selection still sneaks into this grade and may now have most to fear from Corbally Cross, with the point-to-point winner providing trainer Con McSweeney with his first success under Rules in a 3m handicap here. Others to consider include Stone Forest and Tiny Angel.

Several with good chances, notably TINY ANGEL, just denied over at Downpatrick, for whom this less demanding finish should suit

CHARITY BARNUM can open her account at the 10th attempt. The seven-year-old put up a very encouraging performance on her last start when staying on for second in Tramore and the step up in trip would appear to be beneficial. Jetaway Nana, who is turned out quickly, has an official rating of 100 but her weak finishes and tendency to hang under pressure make her somewhat unattractive. Her forward-going nature may not suit this step up in trip. Amboyna was disappointing on her last start, but some of her form entitles her to respect.

Question marks surround both Amboyna and Jetaway Nana, so CHARITY BARNUM could be the one upped in trip here

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

A competitive affair for a five-runner race and marginal preference is for INTELLOTTO, who was highly tried as a juvenile. The 137-rated hurdler began his career over fences with a comfortable 10-length victory in a Limerick beginners chase. Joseph O'Brien's charge was then competitive in a Galway Grade 3, so this is a step back down in grade. You Oughta Know is taken to reverse Wexford form with War Correspondent due to an 4lb swing in the weights. The Willie Mullins-trained gelding was also well tested during his bumper days, finishing second in a Grade 2 at Leopardstown. He is now officially rated 137 over fences, but he hasn't scaled the heights so far that he promised as a younger horse.

Preference is for INTELLOTTO who was on the back foot after an early mistake at Galway and that was a solid run all things considered.

DOYEN MAGIC should be capable of taking this small step up in grade in her stride. She went up 6lb for an all-the-way success in Kilbeggan, but looked to have a bit more up her sleeve. If her subsequent mishap in Downpatrick on Monday didn't take too much out of her, Philip Rothwell's mare should have every chance under Tiernan Power Roche. The Striker Dylan begins in this sphere off a mark of 91, which has seen him be very competitive in a handicap hurdle at this venue, although he is still a maiden after 12 starts. Luimneach bids to exploit a decent chase mark and may be able to turn his form around.

Corach Rambler's half-brother NEWTOWN RAMBLER (nap) jumped well out in front when a close third over C&D last time.

IT'S NEVER SIMPLE is open to huge improvement from his last-gasp win at Roscommon. The JP McManus-owned gelding went up 5lb, but the extra half-mile should play to his strengths. Stablemate Il Silenzio was also a winner on that card but, around this sharp track, he may not be able to repeat the waiting tactics which paid dividends and Ricky Doyle is now on the selection. Last year's winner Stormy Master is back for more, but he is 8lb higher this time and it is hard to see the 11-year-old improving much. Je Suis and Le Grand Vert should be watched in the market, with the former sporting a first-time tongue-tie.

Although fortunate to win at Roscommon, that performance was the best yet from IT'S NEVER SIMPLE and this should be more his trip.
