The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

NOTRE MAISON is the only C&D winner in this field and, after a neck second at Brighton on her first start since October, she may be able to take this step up in class in her stride. Sean Levey is back on board Miggy Magic, who has run well in defeat on his last five starts, and a measured front-running performance could see him go close. Some Nightmare has won off higher marks and might surprise a few from bottom weight.

Judged on breeding, ALL WAYS GLAMOROUS could be set for a productive 4yo campaign in handicaps. Miggy Magic is second pick.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Oisin Murphy rode Cuban Melody to victory in this last season and he has a chance again on GORDON NORSE, a wide-margin Wolverhampton winner on his return when sent clear a furlong out. If he takes to the turf, he may follow up, but if he fluffs his lines then Topwarrior could take advantage. Ralph Beckett's colt ran on well to score at Kempton and should have improvement to come. Rajaking won on his debut at Chelmsford last year and is one to consider for the places.

Royal Ascot entry TOPWARRIOR is taken to follow up his Kempton win. Gordon Norse, who scored easily last time, is second pick.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Brise Noir was campaigned in France last year, with an eighth to Dee Stakes winner Mount Kilimanjaro at Longchamp on his second start, and he could do better after being gelded. Burj Zabeel is an interesting Kingman newcomer for the stable that won this in 2022 and is worth a market watch, but QUEBELLA could be the one. As green as grass on debut at Wolverhampton, she still got up to win by a half-length and, with the longer trip in her favour, she may keep her unbeaten record.

Interesting JOYFUL SOUND gets the vote ahead of Brise Noir, Fantasy World and Quebella.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Regal Envoy has to be respected following his Newmarket triumph last month, but a 4lb rise will demand more from him. With that in mind, marginal preference is for HAVANAGREATTIME, who sprung a surprise at Newbury and may have more to offer. Treacherous is likely to be in the mix once again, while similar comments apply to Monsieur Beaulieu and Lady Dreamer.

The vote goes to TREFOR (nap), who brings very good stats and is interesting returned to Windsor. Havanagreattime is second pick.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TRALEE GIRL confirmed the promise that she showed in two starts last year when getting off the mark over 1m4f at Catterick last month. An opening rating of 66 should be workable and the daughter of Camelot could prove to be too good once again. Mrembo may chase the selection home if repeating her recent effort at Brighton, while Shady Bay is next best.

This looks between C&D winner Mrembo and likely improver TRALEE GIRL who makes her handicap debut with Oisin Murphy taking over.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having found only a well-punted favourite too strong in the closing stages over an extended 1m3f here seven days ago, GOLDEN CIRCET makes plenty of appeal reverting to his last winning distance. The five-year-old races off an unchanged mark and should take all the beating if coping with the quick turnaround. The biggest threat may emerge in the shape of handicap/seasonal debutant Sir Edward Lear, who has an unexposed profile. Graecia is the pick of the remainder.

Preference is for GOLDEN CIRCET, who could well improve further. Beauld As Brass and Trojan Truth look the main threats.

CREST OF LIGHT secured a second win of the year at Wolverhampton a little over a fortnight ago and further progress could be on the cards. Although the son of Zarak has raced exclusively on the all-weather, there is little reason to suggest that he won't excel on his turf bow and he's taken to defy a 5lb higher mark. Manila Thriller didn't enjoy the best of passages when sixth at Wetherby and she's feared most, ahead of Pave The Way.

With their AW form having substance, the handicap newcomers MAN OF LA MANCHA and Life Is Rosie are particularly interesting.
Ths is the racecard key.
