5th (4) (13/2 +19%)Gold Star Hero |
13/2(+19%) | (4) Gold Star Hero 13/2, Looked better when back up to 6f beaten 4l off 80 at Brighton last time; cheekpieces first time; top jockey back on board; only win came on second start over this distance at Chelmsford; not out of it 0-7 on turf; not beaten far in the 3yo "Dash" but not matched that since; cheekpieces on. |

6th (1) (7/2 -17%)Amazonian Dream |
7/2(-17%) | (1) Amazonian Dream 7/2, Last six successive runs have been at this track, with no wins and a mixed bag of results; did not get a clear run and probably better than result when beaten 3l off 80 here last time; dual C&D winner previously; the pick on balance of form 3-20 over C&D; been a while since he has raced down at this level; interesting. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (50/1 -150%)Dear Cat |
50/1(-150%) | (8) Dear Cat 50/1, Raced freely when last in a handicap over C&D most recent; 18l last but one over C&D time before that; generally out of form this season; only win came in a maiden at Salisbury third start 12 months a go; lots to do Has been well beaten in both starts over C&D since returning in June; best watched. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (8/1 -60%)Dothan |
8/1(-60%) | (5) Dothan 8/1, Below par beaten 5l in a handicap over 5f at Thirsk last time; in good form prior, including a very close second at Catterick penultimate start; only win over 5f at Doncaster; significant jockey booking; value selection based on balance of form Patchy form since making a successful handicap debut/reappearance; each-way claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (2) (16/1 -300%)Noel Fox |
16/1(-300%) | (2) Noel Fox 16/1, Probably outclassed when last of nine and beaten 10l in Queensferry Stakes (Listed) at Chester most recent; usually consistent, and went close over this distance at Salisbury three starts back; tongue-tie first time; should be bang in the mix Out of her depth on stable debut, but possibilities on previous form; tongue-tie on. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Lequinto loves it here, with all six of his turf victories coming at the track, but he was well beaten at the start of the week and may have to settle for a place off his current mark. AMAZONIAN DREAM was beaten less than three lengths here on his latest run, when left with a little too much to do, and might make the most of the drop in class off 1lb lower. Dual Windsor winner Strike enters the equation as well.

The choice is course regular AMAZONIAN DREAM who will be racing over this C&D for the 21st time and has dropped to an inviting mark.

25/1(-285%) | (1) Black Star Boy 25/1, 5 Mar; 100,000 euros Starman colt; really well related as a half-brother to half-a-dozen winner, inclduing Balty Boys, high-class at 8f, and Group 3 winner Artistic Rifles; trainer in form; yard in good form Stable has had a few winning 2yo newcomers this year; worth a market check. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (7) (100/1 -733%)Lord Cloughan |
100/1(-733%) | (7) Lord Cloughan 100/1, 330,000gns yearling; Frankel colt; dam, Queen Of Love, won a Listed race in France; slowly away and 21l last of five in a maiden over 7f at Salisbury only start; off a short-break; all to do Beaten a long way into last of five on his Salisbury debut; major improvement required. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (11) (50/1 -317%)Torbados |
50/1(-317%) | (11) Torbados 50/1, 8 May; 32,000gns Ardad colt; dam, Exmouth, smart at 7f at 2yo; may not be as attractive as some of the others in this race on pedigree, but that might not stop this horse from making a good debut; not out of this Stable does have winning 2yo newcomers and worth a market check. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (3) (10/1 +0%)Decem Starr |
10/1(+0%) | (3) Decem Starr 10/1, 23 Mar; 80,000gns Showcasing colt; half-brother to Kolachi, smart at 8f, and The Thunderer, winner over 10-12f; dam, Purple Sage, very smart at 7f at 2yo; looks an unlikely winner on debut Entered in the Middle Park and Dewhurst; stable had a winning 2yo newcomer here this month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (2) (11/1 -144%)Dartrey |
11/1(-144%) | (2) Dartrey 11/1, 750,000 euro yearling; wonderfully bred Lope de Vega colt; sent off evens, but jockey looking down before pulled up bend well beaten in a novice at Chelmsford only start; surely better than showing; powerful connections; value selection based on balance of form Proved unsteerable on Chelmsford debut; faces a different scenario here; watch market. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

It all went wrong for Dartrey on his racecourse bow at Chelmsford and he finished stone cold last after being described as unsteerable. He is one to watch on his second start, but a chance is taken on newcomer DIVISION, an 800,000gns Kingman colt representing the in-form William Haggas team. He has apparently been working well which may give him the edge, while Poatan might get the sixth furlong on quicker ground after failing on soft going at Goodwood.

The vote goes to GAURDMAN who showed ability on his Newmarket debut despite looking ill-at-ease on the track.

1st (1) (11/2 -100%)Arabian Crown |
11/2(-100%) | (1) Arabian Crown 11/2, Well backed, but ran poorly comfortably held in Glorious Stakes (G3) over 12f at Goodwood last time; form this season been somewhat lacklustre, but won four in a row last season, including two Groups 3; trainer in form; enjoys making it; suited by 10f, acts on good likes give, good to firm probably not ideal; not out of this with sights lowered Nothing like as good as he was in four starts this year; down in grade but enough to prove. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (6/4 +8%)Caviar Heights |
6/4(+8%) | (2) Caviar Heights 6/4, Probably ran to very best off a break second beaten a nose in Gala Stakes (Listed) over 10f at Sandown latest; top course trainer; off a short-break; suited by 10f and a sound surface; may be the one to beat Beaten a nose on stable debut at Sandown in June; much respected if building on that. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (9/4 +63%)Nightwalker |
9/4(+63%) | (4) Nightwalker 9/4, Blinkered, but below par again possibly not staying 12f beaten 9 1/2l in King Edward VII Stakes (Group 2) over 12f at Ascot last time; off a short-break; bit to prove, 10f and fast ground could be key Has been taking on exalted company in last three starts; has been gelded; should go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (3/1 +45%)Thunder Run |
3/1(+45%) | (3) Thunder Run 3/1, Four wins in nine starts; won second start of this season over 10f at York; beaten 4 1/2l in a handicap over 10f back there last time; this is a big step up in grade, but going the right way and may contend Has a good strike-rate (4-9); steps up in grade, but worth his place in the field. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

A small but select field sees Nightwalker as the best in at the weights thanks to his three-year-old allowance, but he has only taken one of his seven starts and has been gelded since a sixth in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot. Andrew Balding won this last year and he runs SECRET OF LOVE, fourth at Hamilton in July but only beaten a length after coming from off the pace. She can go close if kept nearer to the pace, leaving Caviar Heights as the best of the older horses.

This can go to CAVIAR HEIGHTS (nap) who ran so well when beaten a nose on his stable debut at Sandown last time.

1st (2) (10/1 +17%)Silawi |
10/1(+17%) | (2) Silawi 10/1, Did not get a clear run fourth beaten 5l in a handicap at Goodwood latest; somewhat out of form since returning to UK and winning a handicap over C&D in May; needs to improve to be in with a shout Won C&D handicap in May but he's bottom of the pack on the figures in this Group 3 event. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (1/2 +19%)Military Order |
1/2(+19%) | (1) Military Order 1/2, Ran to form second beaten a neck in Rose Of Lancaster Stakes (Group 3) at Haydock latest; steadily progressive through the ranks; top trainer in form; Group 3 and dual Listed winner; the pick on balance of form Went close in Group 3 at Haydock last time and he's the standout contender in this line-up. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (15/2 -7%)Royal Playwright |
15/2(-7%) | (5) Royal Playwright 15/2, Probably wanted easier ground beaten 7l in Sir Henry Cecil Stakes (Listed) over 8f on GF at Newmarket (July) last time; usually consistent; effective 8-10f, ideally wants some give; trainer in form; not out of it 0-7 since his debut win and was well held in a Listed race last month; others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (6/1 0%)Devil's Advocate |
6/1(0%) | (3) Devil's Advocate 6/1, Didn't stay down the field in Queen's Vase (Group 2) over 1m6f at Ascot most recent; looks to be most dangerous at this distance, including only win at Chelmsford in October; off a short-break; trainers in flying form this season; bit to find, but sights lowered Mixed results this season but was fourth in Dante and he still has potential; been gelded. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (10/1 -43%)Great David |
10/1(-43%) | (4) Great David 10/1, Good effort when fifth but only beaten by 1 1/4l in Glasgow Stakes (Listed) over 11f at Hamilton last time; usually consistent, including wins at Brighton and Nottingham; bit to find in this company Respectable efforts when highly tried in last three runs but he's not made a major impact. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Having finished a cracking second in the Rose Of Lancaster at Haydock a fortnight ago, MILITARY ORDER could be ready to go on a victory parade. Billy Loughnane and Charlie Appleby have enjoyed a fruitful partnership this season and further success could be imminent. Devil's Advocate should appreciate this drop in distance and may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Great David.

This looks a good opportunity for MILITARY ORDER who went close in a Group 3 last time and is the standout contender on the figures.

5/1(+23%) | (3) She's A Warrior 5/1, Below par fourth beaten 8 1/4l in a handicap over 10f at Haydock latest; not shown much over 10f on two starts season; better over this distance, including win at two places at Kempton three starts last season; cheekpieces first time; off a short-break Still unexposed but she needs to raise her game with cheekpieces added back in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (3/1 +25%)Bravo Zulu |
3/1(+25%) | (4) Bravo Zulu 3/1, Scored by a neck off 76 over C&D here penultimate start to complete a double after winning at Doncaster time before; 16th beaten 20l off 78 last time; decent career record with eight wins in 21 starts; threat C&D win last month and had tough assignment on soft at Galway latest; could bounce back. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (13/2 -8%)Newfangled |
13/2(-8%) | (7) Newfangled 13/2, Well backed when scored by a neck over C&D here off 69 here in May; sixth beaten 9l off 73 last time; goes well here, with a couple of close seconds in other starts; value selection based on balance of form Didn't fire at Sandown latest but he has form figures of 122 at this track; possibilities. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (14/1 -17%)Kalamunda |
14/1(-17%) | (6) Kalamunda 14/1, Below par again when fourth beaten 7 1/4l in a handicap at Sandown latest; out of form last couple of start, including 25l last of 10 at Kempton two starts ago; better form on AW; outsider Five-time AW winner but he's 0-9 on grass and was well held at Sandown last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (10/3 +26%)Bintjeddah |
10/3(+26%) | (5) Bintjeddah 10/3, Appeared not to stay down the field in a handicap over 10f at Goodwood most recent; 2l second at Newmarket (July) penultimate start; top course trainer; off the mark second start over 8f when winning by 3l at Haydock on second start in September; needs to bounce back; not out of it Lightly raced 3yo but her form has been up and down so far and others are more convincing. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (16/1 -113%)Lyndon B |
16/1(-113%) | (2) Lyndon B 16/1, Improved on recent efforts back up in trip scored by 1 1/2l off 77 over C&D here penultimate start; 13th beaten 18l off 80 at Chepstow last time; needs to bounce back, but still in with chance Won over C&D in June but he was last of 13 at Chepstow last time; risks attached. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (1) (5/1 -150%)Mafnood |
5/1(-150%) | (1) Mafnood 5/1, Did not get a clear run beaten 2l off 80 at Brighton last time; been running to fairly decent form, including 11/2l second over 7f at Epsom three starts ago; significant jockey booking; can end lengthy losing streak; major contender Record of 1-20 but he's reliable and was a good third at Brighton 17 days ago; respected. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MAFNOOD arrives on the back of a string of creditable efforts in defeat and this could prove a suitable opportunity for some compensation. George Baker's inmate races off the same mark as his latest third at Brighton and a similar performance may prove sufficient. Although thwarted in his hat-trick bid when finishing down the field at Galway 23 days ago, Bravo Zulu isn't taken lightly reverting to quicker ground, while three-year-old Bintjeddah is likely to prove more competitive in these calmer waters.

This looks tricky but BRAVO ZULU had an excuse on soft in his hat-trick bid at Galway and gets the vote back in calmer waters.

1st (9) (20/1 -167%)Just Adair |
20/1(-167%) | (9) Just Adair 20/1, Looked to appreciate the drop in trip to 7f, but still well beaten ninth of 12 at Leicester last time; did very little over 10f two previous starts, including 20l second last over 10f time before; may like this longer trip; value selection based on balance of form Unexposed gelding and he's a possible improver upped in trip on handicap debut. |

2nd (3) (8/1 -7%)Three On Thursday |
8/1(-7%) | (3) Three On Thursday 8/1, Wanted farther when second last of six runners, beaten 4 1/4l in a handicap over 9f at Ffos Las last time; in good form prior, including 2l third over 12f at Chepstow two starts ago; suited by 10-12f, acts on GF, GS 0-7 but she's run some good races in handicaps and looks interesting back up in trip. |

4th (6) (18/1 +18%)Dancing Bay |
18/1(+18%) | (6) Dancing Bay 18/1, Pulled up in on National Hunt debut in a juvenile hurdle over 2m1f at Dieppe latest; very disappointing in six previous flat starts, including 9l ninth of 15 despite sent off favourite last time in this sphere; off a short-break; big outsider Pulled on hurdling/stable debut latest and has something to prove on the Flat. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (80/1 -186%)Fornido |
80/1(-186%) | (4) Fornido 80/1, Least experienced here with just three starts; shown very little in any of those outings, had been down the field and long way back; outclassed well beaten in a novice at Southwell latest; usually held up Struggled in three qualifying runs and he needs improvement on handicap/turf debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (7/1 +13%)Marmalade Kid |
7/1(+13%) | (5) Marmalade Kid 7/1, Probably one of better efforts when 5 1/2l third in a handicap over 12f at Bath most recent run; significant jockey booking in Hector Crouch; perhaps more to come now over 12f; not out of it Better effort when third at Bath (11.6f) and has claims if he can build on that. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (50/1 -79%)Resilient Lady |
50/1(-79%) | (2) Resilient Lady 50/1, Returned from a poor hurdle debut and seemed to be on stiff mark off 58 down the field in a handicap over 8f here most recent; shown very little in five flat starts; bit to find to be competitive Still lightly raced but she needs a transformation back up in trip; tongue-tie reapplied. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (7) (4/1 -78%)Launceston |
4/1(-78%) | (7) Launceston 4/1, Made too much use of fourth beaten 9 1/4l in a handicap over 12f at Bath latest; well backed but 21/2l second over 10f at the same course time before; blinkers first time; trainer in form; threat Disappointing at Bath last time and he needs to resume his progress in new headgear. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Love You Back posted his best effort of the season when coming home in second at Kempton recently and must enter calculations in his current mood. However, a 2lb nudge up in the ratings does demand more from the son of Galiway and it could be worth chancing the up-in-distance CLIPSHAM NOBLE. Alice Haynes' gelding has been running well between 1m and 1m2f of late and today's extra trip could eke out some improvement. Marmalade Kid is the pick of the remainder.

The vote goes to LOVE YOU BACK who hit a personal best with his clear second at Kempton and is a big player on this drop back in grade.
Ths is the racecard key.

This is the 16:15 Kempton race from the video above backed at 28/1 earlier in the day.
Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance.
