11/2(-175%) | (1) Master Dandy 11/2, Strong at the finish, he ran to his best when landing a handicap by a neck off a 3lb lower mark here last time. A top course jockey takes over, and he is suited by 5f or 6f. Can go well again. Mixed nowadays but won over 5f here latest; well treated on best 6f form despite penalty. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (8/1 -167%)East Tyrone |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (3/1 +57%)Court Of Session |
3/1(+57%) | (3) Court Of Session 3/1, Ran to form when beaten 3 1/4l off a 1lb higher mark at Newcastle last time. The trainer is in form and he is effective from 5f to 8f, but remains inconsistent and is on a long losing run. Best run for a while when 2nd at Southwell (6f) this month but below best since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (11) (22/1 +33%)Coast |
22/1(+33%) | (11) Coast 22/1, Found little when beaten 7 1/2l in a classified race here last time. She enjoys making the running and is effective at 6f, but her form has been regressive. Two wins over C&D but has beaten very few rivals on the AW since the autumn. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (12/1 +25%)Tommytwohoots |

33/1(-175%) | (4) Koji 33/1, Below form when well beaten in a handicap at Carlisle latest. She returns from a break, is drawn wide, and is suited by 6f, though she can get 7f. This may be needed. Has won at 7f/6f here; new trainer but made winning yard debut for two most recent stables. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (10) (18/1 +36%)Bernie The Bear |
18/1(+36%) | (10) Bernie The Bear 18/1, Again below form when beaten 7l in a handicap at Newcastle last time. Effective over 6f or 7f but arrives here in very poor form and has plenty to prove. C&D winner in 2023; thereabouts in early 2025; out of the frame in 5 AW runs this winter. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (7) (18/5 +20%)Up The Monk |
18/5(+20%) | (7) Up The Monk 18/5, Too keen but still ran to form when beaten 4l into third in a handicap at Chelmsford on his most recent run. Effective over 6f or 7f and respected off this mark. Off the mark at Southwell (6f) on 2nd start for yard; mixed since; return to 6f can suit. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

C&D winner East Tyrone and Up The Monk are in good enough form to suggest they should play their part in the finish, but MASTER DANDY is the one. Billy Loughnane keeps the ride following last week's 5f triumph here and the manner of that success gives hope that the step back up to 6f will prove no issue. Koji is noted too.

The race didn't really go EAST TYRONE's way at Lingfield last time out but he had taken well to this C&D the time before.

6/1(-80%) | (2) Okami 6/1, Strong at finish, ran to form landing a handicap by a neck off a 3lb lower mark at Newcastle last time; effective 5-7f, acts on AW; can go well again off new mark. Resurgent 6yo who made it 2-4 for current yard when scoring at Newcastle; respected up 3lb. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (7/2 +0%)Vitalline |
7/2(+0%) | (7) Vitalline 7/2, Did well considering tricky start when third beaten 4l off 49 last time, same mark here; usually held up; effective 6/7f, suited by AW; can go well again. In-form 8yo and has possibilities if he gets a good pace and some luck. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (8) (16/1 +20%)Lady Bouquet |
16/1(+20%) | (8) Lady Bouquet 16/1, Again below form in a classified race last time. Cheekpieces are applied for the first time and she is effective at 5-6f, but a bounce back is required. Won over C&D last month but well held in both subsequent runs; first-time cheekpieces. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PORFIN got back to winning ways at Lingfield recently and wasn't winning out of turn judged on his previous third at the same venue. Switching to this track is no issue for the past C&D winner and the advice is to stick with him for now. Nordic Glory is noted following a solid second here latest and Okami also makes some appeal.

Top of the list is OKAMI, who made it 2-4 for Paul Midgley when scoring at Newcastle 17 days ago. Porfin is feared most.

Trainer is in form and this is his second run back. 0-5 but he ran better than bare facts behind Grey Horizon here latest; not ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (11/2 +0%)King Of Chaos |
11/2(+0%) | (1) King Of Chaos 11/2, Raced too freely off a break and did not get the clearest run when beaten 4l off a 2lb higher mark at Newcastle last time. Probably effective at 5/6f and should come on from that return run. Unexposed gelding but he needs improvement back up in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) (5/2 +9%)Watchdog |
5/2(+9%) | (7) Watchdog 5/2, Went away well late, with a stiff track and 6f suiting, when landing a handicap by 3 1/2l off a 9lb lower mark at Newcastle last time. Gets 7f and is a very game type. Off the mark with an emphatic win at Newcastle; 9lb higher here but he's respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

10/1(+0%) | (4) Berlinetta 10/1, Ran poorly off a break when upped in trip and well beaten in a handicap at Southwell latest. 40/1(-60%) | (5) Runamara 40/1, Below form when down the field in a nursery at Nottingham most recent, with conditions against him. Returns from a short break, is effective at 5/6f, but has a bit to prove. Lightly raced gelding but has plenty to prove on return for new yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (6) (9/2 +55%)Credit Forgedd It |
9/2(+55%) | (6) Credit Forgedd It 9/2, Got a soft lead but found nothing, with the race perhaps coming too soon when beaten 7 1/4l in a handicap at Lingfield last time. Had been in good form prior and is generally reliable. Seven-race maiden who was disappointing over 1m at Lingfield last time; down the list. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

There are some progressive three-year-olds going to post for this sprint handicap and just a tentative vote is for GREY HORIZON, who is on a hat-trick, is the most experienced in the field and brings proven C&D form to the table. Watchdog won a Newcastle nursery at the expense of the selection but Scott Dixon's charge has improved markedly since. Jamie Sommers is also noteworthy.

It might be worth sticking with WATCHDOG, who came good with an emphatic win at Newcastle last month and is open to more progress.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (14/1 -87%)Corniche Girl |
14/1(-87%) | (7) Corniche Girl 14/1, Was too far back after being dropped in from a wide draw when beaten 5l in a nursery at Lingfield last time. Had been in good form prior and is normally reliable, with a better draw expected to help. Exposed filly who is 1-11 and was down the field at Lingfield last time. |

12/1(-167%) | (2) Whizzy Dizzy 12/1, Late gains after outpaced in blisteringly quick race beaten 5 1/4l in a novice here last time; in good form prior; effective at 5f, acts on AW; may want bit stiffer stamina test than has been getting. Unexposed filly and she needs a close look back up in trip on handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (11/2 -38%)Mighty Vega |
11/2(-38%) | (1) Mighty Vega 11/2, Had run of race in front and ran to form beaten a length off this mark at Kempton last time; cheekpieces first time; effective at 6f, only just gets 7f, acts on AW; consistent. 5/2(-11%) | (3) Moretons 5/2, Well backed, ran to form beaten a neck off this mark here last time; returning from a break; wide draw; effective 5f on good; early runs in weakish races and bit to prove. 0-6 but she went close over 5f here in October; interesting back up in trip on return. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (7/1 -8%)Mister Moet |
7/1(-8%) | (8) Mister Moet 7/1, Ran to form when second, beaten 5 1/2l, in a handicap at Lingfield latest. Suited by 6f and fairly consistent, although he has not always been the most convincing in a finish. Runner-up at Lingfield last week but was beaten 5l and he's now 0-7 in handicaps. |

8th (6) (11/1 -10%)Hello It's Me |
11/1(-10%) | (6) Hello It's Me 11/1, Made a modest handicap debut when beaten 5l in a nursery at Kempton last time. A visor is applied for the first time and she returns from a short break; needs to improve for the longer trip. Some promise in novice events but was last of seven on nursery debut at Kempton. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

With many of these lacking early pace, it would be no surprise to see a bold showing from MISTER MOET. Having fluffed the start at Lingfield last week, Scott Dixon's three-year-old rattled home to be the best of the rest behind a clear winner. A sharper exit from the stalls can see him go one better this time. Nala's Dream and Mighty Vega can also set good fractions and they warrant close inspection.

Most of these have something to prove but MORETONS went close here in October and looks interesting back up in trip on his return.

1st (2) (1/1 +38%)Chantelle |
1/1(+38%) | (2) Chantelle 1/1, Had a wide trip but knew her job and showed a game effort when a 3/4l winner in a novice here on debut. Effective at 7f, will probably get 10f in time and more to come. Made a bright start with a comfortable win over C&D last month; respected under penalty. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (7/2 +13%)Get An Attitude |
7/2(+13%) | (7) Get An Attitude 7/2, Made normal improvement when second, beaten 4l, in a novice here latest. Speedily bred and stays 7f, but has roughly reached her level judged on what she has shown. Runner-up in both starts but she has something to find here and needs improvement. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (5/2 -11%)Denver Doll |
5/2(-11%) | (5) Denver Doll 5/2, 150,000gns Mehmas filly; half-sister to US turf winner La Cantera; dam very useful at 7f at 2yo; respected on debut for good connections. 150,000gns yearling; interesting newcomer and she needs a close look in market. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (18/1 -300%)Faffs Gold |
18/1(-300%) | (6) Faffs Gold 18/1, Missed the break and was keen early but finished well when third, beaten a length, in a novice here on debut. Distances around 8f will suit and she is open to improvement. Promising third on C&D debut last month and she should improve for that experience. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (8) (8/1 +11%)Uthooba |
8/1(+11%) | (8) Uthooba 8/1, Fair effort off a break when fourth, beaten 4 1/2l, in a maiden at Lingfield last time. Stayed 8f well and further may suit, and she remains open to improvement. Encouraging fourth at Lingfield but she needs more progress on this drop back in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (80/1 -60%)Cari Bay |
80/1(-60%) | (4) Cari Bay 80/1, Again ran to a moderate level when down the field in a maiden at Kempton most recently. Off a short break and related to smart 6-8f winner Tacarib Bay, but looks up against it. Useful pedigree but she struggled in two runs at Kempton (6f/1m) in the autumn. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) (125/1 -279%)Ada Rose |
125/1(-279%) | (3) Ada Rose 125/1, Showed similar moderate form to debut when beaten 8l in a novice at Lingfield last time. Trainer is in form but she has a good bit to prove after two modest runs. Well held in two 7f runs this winter, with an RPR of 47 on both occasions. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (1) (250/1 +0%)Miss Helena |
250/1(+0%) | (1) Miss Helena 250/1, No worthwhile form shown so far and hard to make a case for on what has been achieved. Likely needs to reach handicaps at a lowly level before becoming competitive. Tailed off in two bumpers and same story in two runs at Wolverhampton this winter. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CHANTELLE impressed with a cosy winning debut over C&D just after Christmas. That impressive start is easily the best piece of form on offer and the daughter of Gleneagles looks an attractive proposition ih her bid to follow up. Get An Attitude has filled the runner-up berth in both previous starts and will be more interesting when she qualifies for a mark after this. Therefore, the well-bred Denver Doll, who ticks the right boxes on paper, could be worth chancing for the forecast slot.

It's hard to get away from CHANTELLE, who won on her C&D debut last month and that form has been boosted by the third since.

20/1(+9%) | (10) Harbour Vision 20/1, Found little when tenth, beaten 8l off 61 last time, and is 1lb lower here. Suited by 7/8f and remains on a workable mark if able to bounce back. Veteran who gained his ninth course success last month, but hard to know what to expect. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (9/2 +59%)Enpassant |
9/2(+59%) | (6) Enpassant 9/2, Ran to form when beaten 4l off a 2lb higher mark at Southwell last time. Suited by 7f and acts on all-weather, but will need more to be competitive in this. Just 1lb higher than when winning at Newcastle in September; each-way claims. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (33/1 -65%)Pickersgill |
33/1(-65%) | (4) Pickersgill 33/1, Again finished below form when down the field in a handicap at Gowran Park most recently. Returns from a short break, is effective at 5/6f, but has yet to deliver on maiden promise in handicaps. Sister to an AW winner; market should be revealing on stable debut after three months off. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (7/2 +36%)Yehudi |
7/2(+36%) | (7) Yehudi 7/2, Ran to form when beaten 3 1/4l off this mark over course and distance last time. Blinkers are applied for the first time, has a top course jockey, is effective at 7–9f and acts on all-weather. 0-12 but has made the frame in his last four visits here; blinkers on. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (10/1 +38%)Ottawa |
10/1(+38%) | (2) Ottawa 10/1, Below form when eighth, beaten 6l off a mark of 65 last time, which is the same mark here. Effective at 6f and acts on all-weather; still competitively treated if bouncing back. Patchy form of late; still to convince over this far as well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (12) (8/1 -140%)Toussarok |
8/1(-140%) | (12) Toussarok 8/1, Ran to form when beaten a neck off a 1lb lower mark at Lingfield last time. Has a top course trainer, is effective at 6/7f and can contend again from a similar mark. C&D winner; narrow defeats in his last two outings suggest he is capable of playing a part. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (4/1 -33%)Maid In Chelsea |
4/1(-33%) | (8) Maid In Chelsea 4/1, Would have gone close with a clear run when beaten 1 1/2l off a 1lb lower mark at Kempton last time. Visor is tried for the first time, is effective at 6/7f and acts on all-weather, though not one to rely on. Course winner who has finished runner-up at Kempton last time; visor on and high on list. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (1) (20/1 +0%)Renewable Dream |
20/1(+0%) | (1) Renewable Dream 20/1, Found little and finished well below form when down the field in a handicap at Newcastle most recently. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (11) (40/1 +0%)Adelaide Bay |
40/1(+0%) | (11) Adelaide Bay 40/1, Was a no-show from off the pace when beaten 6 1/2l in a handicap over this course last time. Effective at 7f and acts on all-weather, but a bounce back is required. C&D winner who is back off his last winning mark, but hasn't shown much for this yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (9) (17/2 -6%)Blue Eclipse |
17/2(-6%) | (9) Blue Eclipse 17/2, Below form when well beaten in a handicap at Chelmsford latest. Visor is applied for the first time, is effective at 7f and acts on all-weather, but a bounce back is needed. 0-7 in handicaps, but his fourth over C&D last month offers some hope; visor on. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

TOUSSAROK was touched off over C&D before losing out in identical fashion at Lingfield, but the former C&D winner is drawn to attack and can now go one place better. Conversely, Landlordtothestars will have to navigate a wide draw if he is to continue his fine form and although not dismissed, Maid In Chelsea could be a bigger threat in a first-time visor.

The vote goes to LESSAY who is just 1lb higher than when winning over C&D last month and drops into a Class 6 for the first time.

4th (10) (25/1 -127%)Starliner |
25/1(-127%) | (10) Starliner 25/1, Produced his best work late when running to form in third, beaten 4l, in a handicap at Newcastle on his most recent start. 5th (8) (8/1 +11%)Golspie |
8/1(+11%) | (8) Golspie 8/1, Travelled well and ran to form when fifth, beaten 5l off a mark of 68 last time, and runs from the same mark here. Suited by 10-12f and is a consistent type. Held off this mark at Newcastle six days ago and this may be an insufficient test for him. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (20/1 -233%)Rhythm N Rock |
20/1(-233%) | (7) Rhythm N Rock 20/1, Returned to his best when beaten a neck off a 5lb lower mark at Kempton last time. Effective at 8/9f and, on that recent form, holds a chance if able to reproduce a similar effort. Nearly ended his drought at Kempton last month, but has gone back up 5lb. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (9/1 +0%)Tortured Soul |
9/1(+0%) | (5) Tortured Soul 9/1, Raced too keenly when below form in fifth, beaten 2l off a mark of 72 last time, and runs from the same mark here. Effective at 7-12f and the drop in trip could be a plus. Failed in his hat-trick bid off this mark last time; may need a stiffer test than this. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (66/1 -164%)Moby Quick |
66/1(-164%) | (9) Moby Quick 66/1, Was a no-show from off the pace when beaten 7l in a handicap here last time. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

66/1(-100%) | (3) Great Blasket 66/1, Below form when beaten 8l in a handicap at Lingfield last time. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (6) (7/2 +71%)Eagle Day |
7/2(+71%) | (6) Eagle Day 7/2, Had his saddle slip when finishing down the field in a handicap here most recently. Returns off a short break, is effective at 8-10f, and is ridden by a top course jockey, but remains out of form. Dangerously well handicapped, 9lb lower than for the latest of his four course wins. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

EUPATOR didn't have to come out of first gear when winning in emphatic fashion here on Friday and he might be hard to stop under the penalty. That said, there are a few dangers, namely unexposed five-year-old Monty Beau, who finished hot on the heels of Oman at Chelmsford latest. Rhythm N Rock went agonisingly close at Kempton and is also respected.

It may be worth taking a chance with EAGLE DAY who has slipped 9lb lower than for the latest of his four course wins.

Suited by 7f, acts on all-weather, and can go well again. Has never attempted this far before and looks handicapped to the hilt in any case. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (12/1 +64%)Top Of The Class |
12/1(+64%) | (5) Top Of The Class 12/1, Finished below form when beaten 8l in a handicap at Kempton last time. Has a top course jockey booked, is effective at 8f on all-weather, and can do better than latest effort. Well treated on her best AW efforts, but recent performances leave her with a bit to prove. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (9/2 +0%)Donna Nook |
9/2(+0%) | (2) Donna Nook 9/2, Did her best work after a slow start when fourth, beaten 5 1/4l in a handicap at Newcastle last time. Effective over 8-10f and acts on all-weather, remaining capable off this mark. 0-11 since joining this yard, but usually there or thereabouts on the AW; considered. |

5th (3) (13/8 -8%)Welljudged |
13/8(-8%) | (3) Welljudged 13/8, Was a bit keen but ran to form when second, beaten 1 1/4l in a novice here last time. Returns from a short break, acts on all-weather, and can run well on handicap debut. Placed in all three starts in the autumn; takes on more exposed rivals on handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (7/2 +36%)Electric Avenue |
7/2(+36%) | (4) Electric Avenue 7/2, Had the run of the race when running to form in fourth, beaten 2 1/4l off 72 last time, and is 1lb lower here. Effective over 7-8f and holds a good chance. Consistent on Tapeta but has a bit to find with Donna Nook on latest Newcastle running.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

WELLJUDGED has shown a fair amount of promise in three runs so far, including when runner-up over C&D in November, and Roger Varian's filly gets the vote to shed the maiden tag on her handicap debut. Caramay stays further but did run with plenty of credit when third here over almost a furlong further on her penultimate start and is noted along with Electric Avenue.

This can go to handicap newcomer WELLJUDGED (nap), who showed enough in three runs in the autumn to suggest she can win a race like this

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

11/1(-100%) | (3) Desiderata 11/1, Ran to form down in trip when second, beaten 1 1/4l, in a classified race here last time. Effective up to 11f and has been in form of late. Hard to predict but runner-up here (9.4f) last time and has claims if he can back that. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (12/1 +14%)Bigz Belief |
12/1(+14%) | (1) Bigz Belief 12/1, No obvious excuse when well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Taunton last time. Enjoys making the running, is effective up to 2m and, based on previous efforts, remains in the mix. Well held over hurdles last Saturday and he's 1-24 on the Flat; opposable. |

14/1(-75%) | (2) Bloodhound 14/1, Ran to form when fourth, beaten 10l, in a handicap at Chelmsford last time, having had to wait for a run. Effective at 10-12f, though inconsistent, and the drop back in trip may help. 22-race maiden and he's been well held in last two starts; look elsewhere. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (12/1 +0%)Endofastorm |
12/1(+0%) | (4) Endofastorm 12/1, Went a bit wide and did not get home when beaten 4l in a classified race at Lingfield last time. Effective over 12-14f, though temperament is a question, but she remains on a workable mark. Scored at Bath (1m5f) in September but she's not matched that since; needs to raise game. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) (17/2 +29%)Dancing Bay |
17/2(+29%) | (9) Dancing Bay 17/2, Returned to form when second, beaten 3 1/2l, in a classified race here last time. Effective up to 2m and that was more like it compared to previous efforts. 0-13 but was runner-up over C&D ten days ago and he's still unexposed at this trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (6) (33/1 -83%)Lawmans Blis |
33/1(-83%) | (6) Lawmans Blis 33/1, A no-show from off the pace when beaten 10l in a classified race here last time. Effective over 10-14f and suited by this surface, but he looks up against it. Second behind Knight Of Magic at Southwell but he's been back in the doldrums since then. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (7) (8/1 -60%)Prince Hector |
8/1(-60%) | (7) Prince Hector 8/1, Ran to form when dropped in trip, finishing second beaten a neck in a classified race at Chelmsford last time. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (10) (22/1 -38%)Good Shot |
22/1(-38%) | (10) Good Shot 22/1, A no-show from off the pace when comfortably held in a classified race at Southwell last time. The trainer is in form and she is effective around 9f, but needs more. Inconsistent nine-race maiden and others are more convincing. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

KNIGHT OF MAGIC won at Southwell earlier in the month before underperforming when turned over at short odds at Chelmsford five days later. Luke Morris is reunited in the saddle and the step back up in trip promises to suit the seven-year-old. Desiderata produced his best effort for a while when runner-up here last time and a repeat of that would see him in the mix. Others to note are Prince Hector and Dancing Bay.

Preference is for KNIGHT OF MAGIC, who won at Southwell on his penultimate run and is a big player if he can recapture that form.
Ths is the racecard key.
