17:25 Wolverhampton (Class 4) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SHRIMP SHADY didn't live up to market expectations here last time, but could be worth another chance judged on the strength of his previous form and given he's going up a couple of furlongs for this assignment. Previous course scorer Gemmari was in really good nick at Chelmsford at the beginning of the year and commands attention, likewise improved Southwell third Bystander.

This can go to SHRIMP SHADY (nap) whose pedigree suggests he may find a bit more improvement for the stiffer test.

18:00 Wolverhampton (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The George Boughey yard has been in amongst the winners of late so debutant Westport must be noted for any market support. Wyle Cop is interesting on his return to action, but the verdict is for WELCOME RETREAT. James Owen's charge was narrowly denied on her handicap bow at Southwell and that form reads well in the context of this maiden. She gets weight from the boys and the advice is to give her one more chance.

This may go to a nice newcomer in WESTPORT, who cost a bit as a yearling and looks the part on breeding.

18:30 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Beauzon has become a bit of a win machine and commands plenty of respect bidding for six on the spin. He's one of many C&D winners to consider closely, including Macarone, who wasn't disgraced when returning to this venue last time. INITIAL BLUE gets the nod, though, as his impressive Kempton triumph remains fresh in the memory and there should be plenty more to come.

The tasks are getting tougher for Beauzon and preference is for INITIAL BLUE who came good in the new blinkers last month.

19:00 Wolverhampton (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ESPANITA was a very promising second to a more experienced rival on her debut at Kempton and it's no surprise to see this nicely-bred filly turned out quickly in a bid to go one better. Galileo Charm and Militzie are the most appealing of the rest with experience, while Clouds Of Gold, a half-sister to a couple of all-weather winners, isn't exactly thrown in at the deep end and could be well placed to have an impact on her racecourse bow.

Preference is for MILITZIE who very much caught the eye when fourth on last month's Chelmsford debut.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

THE DARK BARON is just about the only one of these to have shown reliability lately and he gets the vote to hold sway in this company. Placed in all five starts since he won over an extended 1m1f here in October, cutting the four-year-old back in trip looks worth a try at this level. Sanditon is better than he managed at Chelmsford and could be another key player. Alazwar and Dayman complete the shortlist.

The vote goes to C&D winner DAYMAN whose latest third at Lingfield could hardly be working out any better.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

FILLE IMBASSEE signed off her time with Marco Botti by winning convincingly on her handicap debut at Lingfield in January. The daughter of Ubettabelieveit can take a 5lb rise in her stride to make a flying start for new connections. Hamaleel is suggested as the biggest danger to the selection, after the form of her Kempton success was boosted by the runner-up going in at the weekend. Hardstyle, who goes well for Billy Loughnane, is the pick of the rest. Lifeguard also warrants a betting check.

Preference is for dual winner HARDSTYLE who should appreciate dropping back in trip.

20:30 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SILKIES SIB has won off a higher mark in the past and a 5lb penalty for last week's Chelmsford success looks manageable. Al Baahy and Al Shabab are old rivals capable of making this a good test for the selection. The former just held sway when they were first and second in a classified stakes here in January. The hat-trick seeking Port Noir is another strong contender.

With the help of a 7lb pull in the weights SCENARIO is taken to reverse Boxing Day's nose defeat by Silkies Sib over C&D.
