The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

NOBODY KNOWS, a 320,000 euro breeze-up purchase, made an impressive winning debut at Ayr in September. After being heavily backed, the son of Wootton Bassett justified the support with a rapid burst of speed and whilst open to any amount of improvement, a 7lb penalty shouldn't prevent another big run. Sintra also started as the favourite when introduced at Newcastle last month and Andrew Balding's colt must be taken seriously. The well-bred Mick The Hat is the pick of the newcomers.

Useful prospect NOBODY KNOWS is taken to follow up his 2yo success, en route to bigger assignments. Sintra should progress.

4/5(+36%) | (4) Lahan Kingman 4/5, Promising debut third beaten 3 1/2l in a maiden at Newbury debut; top course jockey; effective at 7f on good to firm; big chance here in receipt of 7lb from top one. Kingman filly; showed promise at Newbury in sole 2yo start; entered in Irish 1,000 Guineas. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(1) (5/4 +55%)Caballo Grande |

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LAHAN KINGMAN finished third in behind a couple of subsequent winners on her debut at Newbury last August and the daughter of Kingman is suggested as the first to consider. Her experience over 7f may give her an edge over Caballo Grande, who was a visually impressive winner at Southwell when last seen. That form hasn't worked out though, and he will need to prove himself over this extra furlong. Glasgow Kiss and Leonie could also find improvement and neither should be underestimated.

Significant potential is brought by LAHAN KINGMAN. Second choice is Caballo Grande.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(9) (7/1 +7%)Good Karma |
7/1(+7%) | (9) Good Karma 7/1, Ran to form beaten a length off this mark here last time; effective 6-8f, probably acts on any; remains 4lb above his last win mark. Ties in with Al Hofzan on the solid piece of form that took his C&D form figures to 123. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(11) (9/1 +50%)Swiss Ace |
9/1(+50%) | (11) Swiss Ace 9/1, Didn't find back up in trip when comfortably held in a handicap at Newcastle last time; effective 7/8f, probably best on a sound surface; mark is falling but needs more. On a long losing spell and current mark reflects a decline in his form. |

(6) (33/1 -200%)Sofian |
33/1(-200%) | (6) Sofian 33/1, Ran to form when second beaten 4l in a handicap at Ffos Las latest; suited by 7f or easy 8f on a sound surface; might need this. The question is whether his Ffos Las form can be transferred to AW on reappearance. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

None of these come without risk but YEHUDI has shown versatility regarding distance and he was unlucky to be caught towards the finish over 7f at Kempton most recently. Billy Loughnane is back aboard today and a similar level of performance might be enough to break his maiden tag. Good Karma (third) was only a length behind the second-placed Al Hofzan when they clashed over C&D a fortnight ago and whilst there should be little to separate the pair again, he could be the bigger threat.

With the cheekpieces retained and Harry Vigors taking off a useful 7lb, AL HOFZAN is preferred. Good Karma is second pick.

11/2(+8%) | (10) Amelia's Joy 11/2, Back to best beaten 1/2l off this mark at Southwell last time; cheekpieces first time; effective at 6-8f on AW; drop in trip may help. Second to a subsequent winner off this mark at Southwell a fortnight ago; claims on that. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Bomb Squad arrives having recorded two narrow C&D successes either side of a close-up Newcastle second and he merits respect under a 4lb penalty, but a chance is taken on AMELIA'S JOY. The four-year-old has yet to score after nine racecourse appearances, but she posted her best effort to date when filling the runner-up berth at Southwell and a maiden triumph could be on the cards should first-time cheekpieces eke out a little more. Others to note include Von Krolock and Punchbowl Flyer.

This can go to LANDLORDTOTHESTARS, who boasts a decent record in handicaps here. Amelia's Joy is another with claims.

13/2(+41%) | (3) Balqaa 13/2, Best work late from off the pace beaten 6 1/4l in a handicap at Southwell last time; usually held up; effective 8-10f, best on AW; poor strike-rate but step back up in trip may suit. The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Arlecchino's Rex defeated AL SHABAB (second) over C&D a fortnight ago, but the latter is 4lb better off down in classified company and may well turn the tables. Keeper Of Secrets isn't favoured at the weights but he does have few miles on the clock, while the addition of first-time cheekpieces could help. Man Is King might not be far away either.

Al Shabab has been expensive to follow and ARLECCHINO'S REX can confirm recent C&D placings on 4lb worse terms.

17/2(+74%) | (6) Pacific Prince 17/2, Too keen and stopped to nothing down the field in a handicap at Lingfield most recent; hood first time; yet to show any reliable form. Far from solid on form and mark of 50 shouldn't necessarily be taken at face value. |

18/1(+28%) | (5) Marisitta 18/1, Bit below form when beaten 5l in a handicap here last time; hood first time; effective 7/8f on soft, good and AW; more needed. Chance of getting off the mark largely depends on how well she responds to hood. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(2) (18/1 +45%)Frontpagemoos |
18/1(+45%) | (2) Frontpagemoos 18/1, Another poor effort when beaten 9 1/2l in a classified race here last time; all to prove still. Down the field in two classified events at Wolverhampton since returning from layoff. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MARINAKIS has held his form well since winning a similar contest at Chelmsford in January and while most of these rivals have something to prove, Ian Williams' charge looks the obvious answer. Lady Delila has hit the frame the last twice and is expected to give another good account of herself. Tony Carroll enlists the services of Rossa Ryan aboard Celebrating Ethel, who warrants closer inspection despite a below-par run at Newcastle on Thursday.

Judged on ratings and his record at this level, the strongest contender is MARINAKIS (nap). Second choice is Celebrating Ethel.

Fortification gets a switch of headgear after returning a disappointing favourite over C&D last time. He's not easily ruled out, while Henrythenate drops in both class and trip with a chance based on his recent Lingfield brace. However, TEMPLE OF ATHENA was sharp enough to make a winning debut last term and showed good progress throughout 2025. A creditable third at York in October, she returns to action from an unchanged mark and has to be of interest ahead of her all-weather debut.

James Tate saddles two with live chances and DANEH OF DANDY is preferred to Dark Angel Star. Henrythenate also has claims.

Having been narrowly denied at Kempton last time, FAITHFUL DREAM will be hard to keep out of the finish once again. He had to be switched for a clear run at a crucial stage, so Mick Appleby's sprinter makes plenty of appeal. A Lott Of Kane finished a close third over the minimum trip at Lingfield recently and should benefit from a return to further, while Mademoiselle Belle is usually in the mix at this level.

Having looked unlucky last time, FAITHFUL DREAM is preferred. A Lott Of Kane is second pick.

PHAEDRA improved for a drop in trip when beaten only a neck at Southwell last Monday. That was her first start for Joey Ramsden's yard too, and she looks set to take advantage of her current mark sooner rather than later on that evidence. Amber Honey posted a much better effort over C&D last month. She could feature if able to back it up, while a case can also be made for King Of Speed in an open contest.

Back down in grade and back up slightly in distance, PHAEDRA could well succeed for her new stable at the second attempt.
Ths is the racecard key.
