16:20 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

An eyecatcher when running on well for third over C&D last time out, LE PELERIN remains on the same mark and he is taken to break the maiden at the eighth time of asking. A winner of two of his last three starts, including by 16 lengths at Ffos Las recently, the penalised Zambezi Magic must enter calculations on the switch to the all-weather. The in-form Volto Di Medusa may improve for this distance having been second over shorter here last month.

This can go to VOLTO DI MEDUSA, whose latest second here (Bass Player back in fifth) has been well advertised since.

16:55 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A major improver from his first to his second appearance when only beaten a neck at Southwell, MC MOAN is entitled to progress further and he can strike with Billy Loughnane taking over in the saddle. Not beaten far over 6f here on his return from the sidelines and first start after wind surgery, Brakeman looks set to give another strong account of himself. An experienced sort who has been placed in three of his six starts, Valley Ofthe Kings cannot be ruled out either.

The twice-raced pair Brakeman and MC MOAN both went close on Tapeta last month but slight preference is for the latter.

17:30 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Now that the penny has dropped for HENRYTHENATE after a comfortable success over C&D, there is likely to be plenty more improvement forthcoming from the son of Mayson and he can follow up off 6lb higher. Guernsey Angel beat Mwaki over track and trip but the runner-up may reverse that form, courtesy of a 2lb pull for half a length.

The vote goes to the lightly raced MOIRA EXPRESS, who offered more in a C&D novice early last month.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MISS LADY GRACE took a step forward when narrowly beaten by an odds-on favourite at Beverley, with the rest of the field well beaten. The daughter of Space Blues looks likely to launch another strong challenge with further improvement a distinct possibility. On Message failed to see out the mile at Sandown but cannot be ruled out back over 7f, while Khafar steps up in distance and could get involved if settling better.

It wasn't a surprise to see ON MESSAGE fade late at Sandown, with her having pulled hard on soft going, and she's worth another chance.

STAR OF ATLANTIS overcame a tardy start to finish a creditable third here a fortnight ago. She's reunited with Billy Loughnane for the first time since scoring here in May and it could be her turn again. Blue Empress remains without a victory, but drops in class with a shout off her tumbling mark. Embarked could prove competitive having finished runner-up here last month.

19:00 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MY CLEMENTINE responded well to a strong challenge from the eventual runner-up at Chepstow to win a shade cosily in the end. Unexposed on the all-weather, a 4lb rise may not be enough to prevent another bold bid from Adrian Wintle's filly. Homme De Fer posted his best effort so far when fourth at Lingfield and has plenty of scope, while Invincible Love is not without a chance and could make the frame.

The vote goes to MY CLEMENTINE who took advantage of a reduced mark when scoring at Chepstow. Homme De Fer is feared most.

19:30 Wolverhampton (Class 4) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Neoma was able to exploit an ease in class to score over C&D a fortnight ago but although respected from 6lb higher, she will need to prove herself back in stronger company. With that in mind, preference is for HIGH COURT JUDGE. Things didn't work out for him over hurdles latest but he's certain to relish a return to the level, particularly an artificial surface, and he can supplement August's Lingfield triumph. Others to note include Venezuelan and Antelope.

Venezuelan could be hard to peg back but NEOMA raised her game over C&D last time and still has handicapping scope off 6lb higher.

20:00 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

It is difficult to oppose SNEAKY BLINDER, who came home best of all to record a comfortable success over C&D last month. Robert Stephens' gelding has been raised 4lb but given that he's completely unexposed over this marathon trip, it could prove lenient. Lumberjack almost sprung a surprise when beaten a head here last time out. He won't be far away if able to produce a similar effort, although Alan King's Bedford, who has his second start following wind surgery, could be the bigger threat.

Top of the list is SNEAKY BLINDER (nap), who justified support when forging clear over C&D two weeks ago. Lumberjack is feared most.

20:30 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This doesn't look the easiest to unpick and only a tentative vote can go to SECONDS COUNT. The daughter of Time Test failed to threaten on her handicap bow, but it was an encouraging performance nonetheless. She's 2lb lower and, with less to prove than some of these rivals, any further improvement should bring her firmly into the reckoning. The consistent Amber Honey is likely to be thereabouts, along with El Fox, who could benefit from a drop in trip.

Preference is for C&D winner AMBER HONEY who was an eyecatching third at Yarmouth and could be a big factor back up in trip.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
