|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (11/2 +21%)Cherry Cola |
11/2(+21%) | (3) Cherry Cola 11/2, Fell in a hurdle in September when keeping on; not at best though in latter part of last year; below par comeback run needs to have blown away the cobwebs; C&D winner two years ago Record of 2-4 at Yarmouth includes a win (off 2lb higher) in this race two years ago. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (10) (80/1 -60%)Desejada |
80/1(-60%) | (10) Desejada 80/1, Very well-beaten in most starts to date, including 43l last time; needs a lot more Maiden whose form claims are far from solid. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (2/1 -14%)Two Plus Two |
2/1(-14%) | (4) Two Plus Two 2/1, Bounced back from a poor effort three runs ago to win his last two (14/11.5f); did it with ease last time and can continue in this form with a 5lb penalty Better than ever since returned to turf and now bids for a hat-trick; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (18/1 -29%)Principessa |
18/1(-29%) | (2) Principessa 18/1, Three of five runs last year were over hurdles; won one of those, but was pulled on on last start; off since September and might need this Hurdles winner; weak claims on Flat form but may improve off her opening mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (1) (16/1 +0%)Raqisa |
16/1(+0%) | (1) Raqisa 16/1, Last win was two years ago; only had one run last year; out of sorts in two starts this year; 3lbs below last winning mark, but needs more Good chance if combination of new trip and return to Yarmouth prompts a revival. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

TWO PLUS TWO made every yard to complete a double at Bath eight days ago and should have no issues with this step back up trip. The five-year-old is in the form of his life and could prove very hard to beat. Wannabeawallaby finished fourth behind the selection at Salisbury last time and could get closer off 11lb better terms, while Principessa is one to watch in the market on her first start in a handicap on the Flat.

Judged on current form the strongest option is hat-trick seeker TWO PLUS TWO, ahead of Wannabeawallaby.

1st (6) (14/1 0%)Queen's Company |
14/1(0%) | (6) Queen's Company 14/1, Below par on two starts this year; has won here three times (two C&D); better form last year and needs to bounce back Good claims if back on song, being a three-time Yarmouth scorer who is on a handy mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (12/1 +14%)Aim For The Moon |
12/1(+14%) | (5) Aim For The Moon 12/1, Slowly away and down the field last time; much better before that on return when not getting a clear run; unreliable as often starts slowly Recorded sole win over C&D but she's a habitual slow-starter and comes with risk. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (9/1 +59%)Con Te Partiro |
9/1(+59%) | (3) Con Te Partiro 9/1, Comes back in trip having been below par over further recently; needs a bit better Five AW wins at up to 1m2f; seemingly a non-stayer over 1m4f/1m6f since switched to turf. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (11/8 +0%)Risen Again |
11/8(+0%) | (1) Risen Again 11/8, Has been on the go since November; routed his opponents last time to win first race; 5lb penalty; can contend Made all for easy win over C&D last week; due to be 2lb higher in future; leading player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (7/1 -75%)Blenheim Star |
7/1(-75%) | (4) Blenheim Star 7/1, A couple of good runs at Brighton this year, including winning last time in a class 6; up 3lb; chance All wins over 1m, including latest start; likely player provided she stays this new trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (16/1 +20%)Prefer The Sister |
16/1(+20%) | (8) Prefer The Sister 16/1, Fairly consistent this year; now 1lb above last winning mark; up to a new trip The way she shaped over 1m here last week suggests this new trip is worth exploring. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (10/3 +5%)Pursuit Of Truth |
10/3(+5%) | (2) Pursuit Of Truth 10/3, Went off a well-backed favourite when beaten on return (8.5f); better last time over 12f; back to 10f should suit Seven-race maiden; unexposed over middle distances; may well build on latest effort. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (7) (18/1 -80%)Mr Nugget |
18/1(-80%) | (7) Mr Nugget 18/1, Well-beaten on two turf starts (GS); below par last time over 8.5f; up in trip today but usually races over further Has regressed since his AW win; failed to beat a rival in both turf attempts. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BLENHEIM STAR justified favouritism in good style over a mile at Brighton on her most recent start and could improve for this step up in distance. The daughter of Churchill has Brandon Wilkie claiming a handy 3lb to negate her rise for that triumph and looks the one to beat again. Risen Again struck with ease over track and trip earlier in the month and holds an obvious chance, despite his 5lb penalty. Pursuit Of Truth is the pick of the remainder.

Provided the form of his C&D win is confirmed, RISEN AGAIN looks capable of following up. Pursuit Of Truth is second choice.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (9/2 +40%)Acceptance |
9/2(+40%) | (1) Acceptance 9/2, Should benefit from her debut; dam was an 8.5f winner and Listed placed over 1m and a half-sister to Pursuing The Dream (5f Listed winner) Showed speed before dropping away at Southwell on last month's debut; can do better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (18/1 -125%)Bosh Soldier |
18/1(-125%) | (2) Bosh Soldier 18/1, 23 Mar; 23,000gns Sergei Prokofiev filly; dam moderate maiden, half-sister to Show Stealer (useful 5.5-6f winner) and Sir Maxi (reasonable 6-7.5f winner) 23,000gns yearling; dam a modest maiden; the betting should be revealing. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Acceptance could only manage fifth on her debut at Southwell, but she could use that experience to her advantage against a host of newcomers. Even so, the vote goes to YELLOW DIAMONDS, who changed hands for 170,000gns last month and now makes her racecourse bow. The daughter of Invincible Spirit has plenty of speed in her pedigree and may be up to the task first time out. Any market confidence behind Staya or Bosh Soldier would be interesting.

Staya, Oliaku and YELLOW DIAMONDS were big-money buys at the Breeze-Up sales last month. The latter is bred to be precocious.

Charlie Appleby won this 12 months ago and he could do so once more courtesy of SILENT APPLAUSE, whose price rose to a whopping 1,400,000gns when purchased at the Craven Breeze-Up Sale last month. The Acclamation colt has plenty to recommend him on pedigree and a bold showing appears likely. Havana Grey colt Amorim should not lack for speed and is of interest for the George Boughey team, while others to note include Peel Park and Postmodern.

The selection is SILENT APPLAUSE, who was the second most expensive lot at the 2025 Craven Breeze Up Sale. Amorim is second pick.

6/4(-9%) | (1) Capital Guarantee 6/4, 2-3 this year; won with ease last time and could have been further ahead; 5lb penalty but has a claimer to cancel that out; ought to remain competitive; shortlist Scored comfortably at Thirsk last Saturday; due to go up 5lb in future; respected. |

16/1(+0%) | (5) Chola Empire 16/1, Gets on well at Southwell; won there in February; ran ok next time, but last two have been below par; needs to bounce back; seeking first turf win One of several runners who have never won on turf; regressive since last AW win. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (80/1 -60%)Jackson Street |
80/1(-60%) | (8) Jackson Street 80/1, No impression on return; needs plenty more than that Down the field in both runs for new stable and turf record is unconvincing. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A confident vote goes to CAPITAL GUARANTEE, who travelled powerfully into contention before coming clear to record a comfortable success at Thirsk on Saturday. Cian Horgan negates the penalty incurred with his handy 5lb claim and he'll be a tough nut to crack if turning up in a similar vein of form. Shaw Park was a narrow winner over this C&D recently and is respected under a penalty. Giant could also have a say in first-time blinkers.

Having won with plenty in hand five days ago, CAPITAL GUARANTEE is nicely ahead of the assessor and looks capable of following up.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (200/1 -300%)Boleyn Forever |
200/1(-300%) | (8) Boleyn Forever 200/1, Having shown very little in maidens/novices last year, he flopped on handicap debut last time; needs a lot more Has achieved nothing in terms of form. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ARTIFICER chased home an in-form rival at Doncaster last month when attempting to follow up on her earlier Chelmsford triumph. Fred Daly, who was aboard for that success, claims the ride once again and she appears to hold every chance from an unchanged mark. Just a neck separated Anglo Saxson (second) and Mickey Mongoose (third) when the pair met over C&D recently and they ought to be closely matched once again.

Off a workable mark, ANGLO SAXSON (nap) is taken to record a second success in this contest. Mickey Mongoose is second choice.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
