The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

A fine fourth in the Jersey at the Royal meeting, Remmooz is sure to have his supporters now switched to a handicap for the first time. However, the vote goes to OLD COCK, who pounced late to defeat Sisyphean over C&D in May. Now four from seven on turf, the progressive son of Calyx could have plenty more in the locker and a 4lb rise looks fair. Blue For You has won the previous two renewals of this contest, the latest from 1lb higher, and he is entitled to the utmost respect.

Owen Burrows won this with a 3yo in 2018 and the unexposed REMMOOZ is the pick now he's up in trip. Old Cock is a big danger.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Although only victorious once so far this season, JM JUNGLE has undoubtedly been on an upward curve and looks to be well worth his place at this level. He seldom runs poorly on the Knavesmire and might prove up to the task following another fine second over C&D. Grand Grey and Washington Heights both contested Group 1 sprints at the Royal meeting last month and must be respected, while Star Of Mehmas continues to run well at this level and she could be thereabouts too.

Handicaps have been JM JUNGLE's bread and butter for several seasons but he's well worth his place in this higher grade.

ROMIEU looked desperately unfortunate not to win at Newcastle recently, having been denied a clear run for much of the final two furlongs. He kept on into second and is very interesting from an unchanged mark, especially with talented apprentice Elizabeth Gale booked to ride. Archivist made a successful start to his handicap career over the mile here a fortnight ago so appeals under the penalty. C&D winner Thunder Run isn't berthed favourably but he can't be underestimated, while others to note include See That Storm and Ancient Rome.

Progressive 3yo ARCHIVIST (nap) kept on well to win over 1m here a fortnight ago and is taken to defy a 5lb penalty now up in trip.

Al Qareem was an impressive winner of the Grand Cup over C&D a month ago and Karl Burke's gelding has to be respected once again. That said, marginal preference is for TABLETALK, who remains unexposed over this sort of trip and won the Melrose at this venue last season. He was far from disgraced in the Hardwicke last time and will find this easier. Samui and Subsequent are others to consider.

The consistent 6yo AL QAREEM won his second Listed race of the season when making all over C&D last month and holds leading claims.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GOING COMMANDO finished a respectable sixth here before posting a better effort when second in novice company at Chester. The winner of that race is now rated 90, so Adrian Keatley's charge looks potentially well treated for this handicap debut. Amazing Journey took a step forward to land a novice race at Chepstow and there should be more to come from him, while No Spritz No Party is another going the right way after winning a maiden at Pontefract.

Kevin Ryan is no stranger to success in this race so a chance is taken that a gelding operation does the trick with DACRES CROSS.

10/1(+17%) | (6) The Crafty Mole 10/1, Below par well beaten in a handicap over 1m6f at Nottingham latest; in good form prior going close over 2m at Haydock (fast ground); bit in and out but threat if giving best Disappointed last time but has good claims if judged on earlier Haydock second. |

10th (3) (22/1 -10%)Churchella |
22/1(-10%) | (3) Churchella 22/1, Probably outclassed down the field in a handicap at Newcastle most recent upped to class 2 form class 4/5; CD winner; not firing this term, needs step forward but can't be discounted Yet to strike form for new stable this year but won over C&D off 1lb higher last summer. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Curran failed in his attempt to complete a hat-trick at Chester last month, but he still finished a fair third and isn't ruled out. Rock N Roll Pinkie justified favouritism at Nottingham and holds every chance, but RUSSIAN RUMOUR gets the vote. The eight-year-old returned to winning ways at Lingfield and is just 2lb higher, so she may be capable of completing a double.

The suggestion is CURRAN, who won twice over 1m6f last month and could still have untapped potential as a stayer.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Filly One flew out of the gates and stormed clear to score by just over four lengths at Southwell. Provided the four-year-old transfers that form to turf, she ought to have a say but ABERAMA GOLD bounced back to form when making the frame at Ayr on Monday and lurks on an appealing rating. The eight-year-old has two previous C&D triumphs to his name and could be the way to go. Manila Scouse and Juan Les Pins are a couple of others to consider.

Filly One will be dangerous if transferring her AW form to turf but JUAN LES PINS can make amends for an unlucky defeat last week.
Ths is the racecard key.
