13:50 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

EPIC EXPRESS returned from a 128-day break to be victorious by two and a half lengths over track and trip last month, and a 7lb rise may not be enough to prevent him from going in again. Arctician has been thereabouts at class 4 level on each of his last three starts, but he will need to prove he is as effective over this shorter distance. Saturnalia is another to consider after his third at Chelmsford over 7f.

EPIC EXPRESS was a ready winner over C&D 2 weeks ago and sets a good standard if returning here in the same form. Masterclass did well to make late inroads from rear at Southwell last time and also merits consideration, with Saturnalia another to bear in mind dropped back to a sprint trip.

Epic Express won well last time but Richard Hughes has his string in flying form and SATURNALIA (nap) is preferred.

(2) Ali Star Bert 9/4, Scored 3 times over fences since November (twice over C&D) and left impression he was still in top form prior to unseating 5 out (yet to be asked for effort) at Haydock (28.4f) 2 weeks ago. Remains one to be interested in.

14:05 Southwell Handicap Chase (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Ali Star Bert was in the process of running another excellent race when unseating Jack Quinlan at Haydock last month, and he appears to hold every chance from an unchanged mark. However, GALWAY MAHLER has turned a corner of late, winning three on the bounce with the latest of those an emphatic success at Huntingdon. A subsequent 11lb rise will ask more of him, but he is still lightly raced over the larger obstacles and might be up to the challenge. Rostello heads the remainder.

A 3-time winner over fences since November (twice over C&D), ALI STAR BERT had yet to be asked for his effort when unseating 5 out at Haydock 2 weeks ago and he remains one to be interested in from his revised mark. Galway Mahler continues to thrive over larger obstacles and he's a big threat despite a career-high mark. Minella Double may show the benefit of his chase debut effort last month with blinkers now enlisted.

After only 12 races GALWAY MAHLER (nap) remains thoroughly unexposed and the outcome was never in doubt last time at Huntingdon.

14:10 Naas Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A race in which trainer Henry De Bromhead appears to hold a particularly strong hand. Slight preference is for GORGEOUS TOM, who ran one of his better races to date when fourth behind the subsequent Supreme Novices' Hurdle winner here in November. The six-year-old had to settle for second behind another future Grade 1 winner at Navan next time, while Tramore may not have played to his strengths most recently. It shouldn't be long before he sheds his maiden tag. Jasko Des Dames, a winner in France, has reached the frame on both starts over hurdles since arriving in Ireland and looks the biggest danger to his stablemate. Bumper winner The Busy Fool has shown enough in two runs over flights to suggest he can get involved here.

The finish may be fought out by the Henry de Bromhead-trained duo, JASKO DES DAMES and Gorgeous Tom. The latter's form looks very solid in the context of this race and he's not passed over lightly, but Jasko Des Dames, who is the mount of stable jockey Rachael Blackmore, appears to possess the greater potential and he split a couple of useful novices when runner-up in a big-field Punchestown maiden in January. Touch Me Not is third choice ahead of Special Cadeau and The Busy Fool.

It may be worth taking on a chance on GORGEOUS TOM who chased home Caldwell Potter on his penultimate start and ran well again latest

14:20 Lingfield Maiden (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SURVEYOR showed plenty of promise when fourth at Newmarket on debut and built on that at Leicester, filling the runner-up spot. James Fanshawe's filly could improve for this step up in distance and looks the one to beat on her return. Battle Queen has also run to a good level in both of her career starts so far, including when third at Wolverhampton last time, and she could progress further to have a say. Of the remainder, 170,000-euro purchase Seamore appeals most.

SURVEYOR offered plenty when in the frame on both starts in her juvenile campaign and sets a clear standard with further improvement likely. Battle Queen and Xiomara have both showed ability to this point and look best of the remainder with experience, though newcomers Madame Sans Gene and Seamore are potential flies in the ointment.

This can go to SURVEYOR, who showed useful form behind a subsequent Group 2-placed winner at Leicester and she'll appreciate this trip

14:35 Southwell Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

NOCHE NEGRA didn't appear to be suited by a drop to 2m when going in search of his hat-trick 27 days ago but Laura Morgan's charge, a full-brother to the classy Nube Negra and a C&D winner on his penultimate start, can resume his progress returned to further. Glencassley returned from almost a year off the track to make a winning chase debut at Hereford 26 days ago and he is the main danger with improvement likely, while Imperial Bede must be respected now eased in class.

None of these can be ruled out but the vote goes to GLENCASSLEY who impressed when going in at the first time of asking over fences at Hereford and can make light of a 3 lb weights rise. Clonakilty could emerge as the chief threat ahead of in-form pair Imperial Bede and Eyed.

A tight contest in which all five have a chance. IMPERIAL BEDE wasn't disgraced in a higher grade at Sandown.

14:40 Naas Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

THE GREAT UNKNOWN showed enough in two starts against geldings earlier in the campaign to suggest she can make it third-time lucky under Rules. Having a first outing against her own sex, the five-year-old looks well placed to make the most of the opportunity. Her biggest threat could come from stablemate Garde La Peche, who easily beat a subsequent dual hurdles winner on her sole point-to-point start and something was clearly amiss when she failed to fire on her racecourse debut at Limerick over Christmas. Former French Flat winner Got Glory is another capable of much better. The Willie Mullins-trained mare was considered smart enough to make her Irish debut in Grade 1 company last April.

The Willie Mullins-trained Got Glory is basically an unknown quantity and slight preference is for MAGIC DAWN

14:50 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PRINCESS IN ROME beat Havana Force by just under two lengths to shed her maiden tag over C&D. The daughter of Masar renews rivalry on 4lb worse terms, but can confirm her superiority and make a winning handicap debut. Havana Force also goes handicapping for the first time and it would be no surprise to see her improve further. Any market support for Lumiere d'Or in a first-time hood would be interesting.

PRINCESS IN ROME overcame greenness to make a winning a C&D maiden last month and she makes plenty of appeal now handicapping with better still expected to come. Havana Force, runner-up in that contest, receives weight from that rival here and can pose the biggest threat again, though expensive-yearling Simple Endeavour sarts in handicaps from an eye-catching mark and rates as an interesting player.

This can go to PRINCESS IN ROME who did it nicely when winning a maiden over C&D four weeks ago. She remains open to further progress.

Theformismighty put the race to bed a good way out when breaking through at Market Rasen and given that was his first start after wind surgery, the Dan Skelton-trained gelding may yet have deeper performances to come. However, KRUGER PARK has also made good progress and the vote goes his way in this close-knit match, with Paul Nicholls' improving contender escaping a penalty for his success in a Newbury conditional riders' handicap.

KRUGER PARK escapes a penalty for his dominant Newbury success and is taken to prove too strong for Market Rasen-scorer Theformismighty.

Things clicked in a big way for KRUGER PARK in a conditionals' handicap at Newbury last month and he is taken to follow up.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

An open contest in which only a tentative vote can go to SHANTWOPOINTFIVE. Warren Greatrex's point winner, a full-sister to the useful Super Survivor, was picked up for 30,000 pounds at the sales in November and, given her trainer's record in similar events, it would come as no surprise were she to make an immediate impact. The Last Drop hit the woodwork in a Galway bumper last time out and holds leading form claims, while market support should be noted for the Tom Lacey-trained Walkingtheline.

MADE FOR ME was runner-up in a point and her new yard should have her well prepared for this, so she gets the nod over The Last Drop, who found one too good at Tramore when last seen for different connections. Carrig Kate has scored between the flags and represents an in-form yard, so he's also worthy of consideration.

There was a lot to like about the debut effort of BLUE LAS against respected male opposition at Huntingdon and she's well bred.

15:10 Naas Novices Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TOTO TOO has every chance of making a winning start to life with trainer Gavin Cromwell. Runner-up on his racecourse debut in a Galway bumper last August, the Ocovango gelding then won his first two outings over hurdles. Although slightly disappointing when upped in class at Cheltenham when last seen, the seven-year-old is very lightly raced and open to improvement. Stoke The Fire is difficult to assess given he has yet to receive a mark over hurdles. However, Willie Mullins would have had a multitude of options for this race, so the fact he relies on the five-year-old could be significant. Impressive Listowel winner Aeros Rock could also have more to offer, especially with connections reaching for a first-time tongue-tie.

Preference is for UNDENIABLE ALIBI, who got off the mark at Clonmel in February and remains open to further improvement. Stoke The Fire and Como Park rate the principal dangers.

A good little heat. FAULTY deserved a win which came in snug fashion at Down Royal and he can build on that. Toto Too is feared

15:20 Lingfield Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Cosmos Raj is a strong contender and should make a bold bid to complete a hat-trick after a couple of wins over the extended mile at Wolverhampton. However, he is likely to find this more competitive and there may be a bit of value in siding with LANDLORDTOTHESTARS, who is also best when on the front end. With Joe Leavy taking 5lb off his back, James Evans' four-year-old has a notable chance at the weights and can launch a bold bid from a favourable draw. Desfondado is also considered.

FRANCESCI is nicely treated and caught the eye from an unpromising position when second at Southwell last time, so he's fancied to go one better despite a tricky draw. Last-time-out winner Cosmos Raj is an obvious danger and Landlordtothestars can't be ruled out.

The choice is DUTCH KINGDOM who has twice run better than it looked since winning over 7f here. The return to 1m should suit him.

15:25 Warwick Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TWP STORI ran out a comfortable winner at Fontwell and assuming the relatively quick turnaround isn't an issue, another big run can be expected from the six-year-old while the forecast heavy ground is still on his side. Moonlight Artist should also handle the conditions and can make this a good test for the selection. Young At Heart is going the right way and could make an impact if she handles the step up in trip.

An open handicap but Sam Drinkwater's progressive TWP STORI looked to have something in hand when scoring at Fontwell last time and can follow up at the chief expense of Wincanton runner-up Moonlight Artist. Handicap-debutant River Voyage could also have a say along with in-form maiden R Bernard.

There is a lot to like about the claims of TWP STORI (nap), who has improved over staying trips and had something in hand at Fontwell.

15:35 Southwell Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

HIGHLANDS LEGACY bumped into a useful type when finishing second on his penultimate start, and he was similarly luckless when coming down two from home over 2m1f at Carlisle most recently. However, he has shown enough to suggest that a contest of this nature should be within his grasp. Arlo has shaped as if the application of blinkers may eke out some improvement on more than one occasion and is expected to bounce back from a subdued effort last month to emerge as the main danger. Montys Soldier made eye-catching late headway over an extended 2m at Doncaster last month and completes the shortlist.

HIGHLANDS LEGACY sets a clear standard so he's a straightforward choice to get off the mark in a weak maiden. Ascension Day is preferred to Montys Soldier for forecast purposes.

Jonjo O'Neill's HIGHLANDS LEGACY was just starting to look vulnerable when coming down at Carlisle but this could be an easier race.

15:40 Naas Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

VERBAL SPARRING can recover losses having held every chance when falling at the final flight at this track last month. Sent off favourite on the back of a promising runner-up effort here, he obviously has a liking for the venue. Still well handicapped relative to his mark on the Flat, the five-year-old can register a first career success. Papa Barns is also a long-standing maiden, but the Tom Dreaper-trained seven-year-old caught the eye staying on late in a better contest at Leopardstown. Ladyeze Man, who has been off the track since just being denied at Cork in October, would have to be given a serious chance if fit enough.

Preference is for COILLTE ARIS, who acquitted herself well on yard debut at Clonmel in January and has the assistance of Paul Townend. Verbal Sparring and Tell Us This head the list of dangers.

IT may be worth giving another chance to VERBAL SPARRING, a faller at the last flight at Naas on his latest start

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Crimson Sand is an interesting one to note in the betting on his first run since undergoing wind surgery, while Lil Guff and Star Of Lady M are a couple of others with solid claims at this level. However, MOULIN BOOJ has started this year with a couple of sterling efforts and on the back of a relatively cosy victory over this trip at Southwell, a 7lb higher mark may not be enough to prevent this still low-mileage four-year-old from going in again.

LIL GUFF remains lightly raced on all-weather, doing well in the circumstances when making the frame at Southwell on her final start last year, so she could still have more to offer on her return. She is taken to get the better of Moulin Booj, who showed improved from when winning at the same course on his latest outing, with Star of Lady M also considered.

A competitive sprint in which STAR OF LADY M is preferred to Moulin Booj in her bid for a third course win.

15:55 Warwick Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

NINE NINE NINE has been kept busy since the turn of the year and with two wins over fences already registered, further success can come his way with both distance and ground in his favour once again. Yellow Jacket has to be feared despite being as yet unproven over a trip this far, while former point-to-pointer Hidalgo Des Bordes may well improve for this sterner test of stamina and switch to fences having shown some improvement over hurdles at Plumpton.

YELLOW JACKET has got back on track equipped with a tongue tie in recent starts, successful at Bangor prior to a good second at Huntingdon 18 days ago, and he earns the vote stepping back up in trip. Nine Nine Nine is another who arrives in form and can feature, whilst market confidence behind chase-debutant Hidalgo des Bordes would need to be viewed positively.

The point winner HIDALGO DES BORDES could relish the switch to fences and is taken to exploit a lowly mark on handicap debut.

16:03 Clonmel Maiden Chase 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

JASMIN DE COTTE, runner-up in his only point-to-point at Monksgrange last March, can make a winning debut over fences. Although a distant third was the geldings best placing from four runs over hurdles, he was always likely to make a better chaser. Paul Nolan has opted to apply a first-time hood on the five-year-old here. Tempo Chapter Two has dropped a long way in the handicap since his days with Willie Mullins but is still relatively unexposed as a chaser. He has yet to trouble the judge on two runs for Paul Flynn but has plenty of experience which should be an asset in this company. Wee Charlie is another capable of getting involved for recent Irish Grand National winning trainer Thomas Gibney.

PEBBLE BLEU improved on the form she displayed in bumpers/over hurdles when runner-up on chase debut at Thurles 3 weeks ago and a repeat should see her play a lead role here. Tempo Chapter Two rates a big threat on the pick of his form in this sphere, whilst Jasmin de Cotte and Warm in Gorey are others worthy of a second look.

PEBBLE BLEU is preferred after an encouraging start to life over fences last month on similar ground and she can step forward from that

16:10 Southwell Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

In a race where few hold secrets from the handicapper, it may pay to side with the relatively unexposed WILD SIDE OF LIFE. He ran with plenty of credit when finishing second over an extended 2m3f at Sedgefield in December and can make his handicap debut a winning one off what looks a workable opening mark. Hostile Hotelier may emerge as the chief threat having been nudged up 4lb for a recent success over 2m4f here, while Innisfree Lass clearly thrives over C&D and she cannot be dismissed for the in-form Stuart Edmunds team.

With improvement likely now upped in trip for this handicap debut, WILD SIDE OF LIFE makes plenty of appeal with Harry Cobden in the hot-seat. The 6-y-o has found just one too good on both completed starts in this sphere and his opening mark looks plausible. The mare Innisfree Lass has left her previous form well behind equipped with cheekpieces over this C&D the last twice and she is greatly respected, while Hostile Hotelier is also another strong candidate.

C&D winner INNISFREE LASS has made rapid progress since cheekpieces were added in February and is taken to double her tally.

16:15 Naas Handicap Hurdle 19f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Recent Fairyhouse runner-up SOLLY ATTWELL can go one place better for the in-form Cian Collins yard. Having reached the frame in four of his six point-to-point starts, the six-year-old initially faced some stiff opposition in his maiden hurdles but showed a lot more on his handicap debut last time. With the benefit of that experience, he should be hard to beat, despite the large field. Jouster justified favouritism in that aforementioned race, but has work to do if he is to confirm form on these revised ratings. Nonetheless, the Gavin Cromwell-trained five-year-old has to be respected. Stealthy Tom would be a danger to all off his much lower hurdles rating if fit after an absence.

SOLLY ATTWELL was denied by Jouster at Fairyhouse last time but was strong at the finish and, on better terms, is worth a chance to reverse the form with Jack Kennnedy booked. Hillsdale is an obvious danger to the pair of them after scoring at this course last month and Stealthy Tom can't be ruled out from a significantly lower hurdles mark.

Paul Townend takes a rare outside ride on HILLSDALE who should relish this step up in trip and may be able to defy his 10lb rise

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MAHBOOB rewarded the patience shown by connections when making a successful introduction over C&D in December. He won with something to spare and the Gosdens' four-year-old has been found an excellent opportunity to continue his education. Lakota Brave benefited from his debut third at Newcastle when returning to the same venue to break through 11 days later, although stepping up in trip may not suit on pedigree. With that in mind, the main danger could be Hurtle Wallop, who showed a lot more on his second start when fourth at Ascot in October.

The well-bred MAHBOOB made a promising start amidst greenness when successful at this C&D in December, digging deep when challenged, and he can build on that effort to follow up. Lakota Brave opened his account at the second attempt and looks the main danger, with Hurtle Wallop the pick of the remainder.

Everything looks in place for a big run from MAHBOOB, who created a good impression over this C&D on debut. He's open to improvement

Lemoncello was victorious over fences at Fontainebleau in October and has since switched to the Venetia Williams stable, so he would be of huge interest if the market speaks in his favour. However, preference is for TOMMIE GUN, who outran big odds to make the frame at Newbury and has been dropped 1lb. Sam Twiston-Davies is back on board and he could have more to offer on only his second handicap start. Damarta is not out of it on his best form.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Third on all three runs over fences to date, the Willie Mullins-trained SPANISH HARLEM can step up a couple of places here. A winner when trained in France, the six-year-old has yet to get his head in front since arriving on these shores but this looks a nice opportunity to rectify that. A course winner over hurdles, Gaelic Arc rates a danger for trainer John Ryan. Thrice successful in a short career to date, the eight-year-old has a long absence to overcome but should be forward enough for this assignment. Duffle Coat rather lost his way after winning the first four starts of his career but the Gordon Elliott-trained seven-year-old has finished runner-up on two occasions of late so appears to be returning to form.

SPANISH HARLEM didn't kick on as expected over hurdles but he's been progressing gradually over fences, posting his best effort yet when third under hands-and-heels riding at Gowran 47 days ago. Open to further progress, he looks the one to beat with Duffle Coat rating the chief threat.

Based on form involving his stablemate Tactical Move and the useful Saint Felicien, SPANISH HARLEM sets a solid standard

16:45 Southwell Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The step back in trip promises to suit ISMAEL, who ran well for a long way before weakening late on over an extended 3m at Doncaster last month, and off an unchanged mark, he can return to winnings ways. Bobbi's Beauty no doubt has the ability to be competitive and is likely to bounce back from being pulled up at Leicester last month, while ex-Irish recruit Larkfield Lusive also warrants respect on his stable debut.

Preference is for BRANDT, who posted his best effort over hurdles at Warwick last time and promises to be suited by this longer trip on handicap bow. Ismael and Bobbi's Beauty can also make their presence felt.

3m on heavy ground was a struggle last month but ISMAEL produced a good performance to open his account over 2m4f two starts ago.

16:50 Naas Handicap Hurdle 24f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Although disappointing in two runs since her shock Limerick win over Christmas, the William Murphy-trained AGHMOROUGH BRIDGE might be worth another chance in this ordinary contest. A three-time point-to-point winner, she is now reunited with Moira McElligott, who was on board for two of those successes between the flags. Everystep Oftheway is a maiden under both codes, but ran one of his better races when third here last March. Stepping up to this distance for the first time may well bring about further improvement in the six-year-old. Championship leader Jack Kennedy takes the ride on his brother Michael's Jeronimo De L'ouch. The five-year-old makes his handicap debut here after the mandatory three starts in maiden company.

Plenty are in with a shout. JERONIMO DE L'OUCH looks to have got in lightly for his handicap debut so Michael Kennedy's low-mileage 5-y-o gets the nod at the chief expense of Punchestown chasing fourth Everystep Oftheway who reverts to this sphere on a lenient mark. Lucy Prunella is another who can have a say now stepping into handicap company along with in-form pair Padraig Boy and Mahler Appeal.

The form of the Navan contest in which PADRAIGS BOY was fourth has worked out well and he should have a decent chance down in grade

16:55 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BLACK SMOKE was said to have benefited from a more patient ride when successful over C&D last month, so similar tactics could see him repeat the dose from a 4lb higher figure. Foinix and Socialist Agenda continue to knock on the door and both are unlikely to be far away, while Gentle Fire has dropped to her last winning mark and should not be written off.

If VIRTUAL HUG takes his chance he will prove a tough nut to crack following his cosy success in an apprentices' handicap here on Tuesday, for which he escapes a penalty. The 6-y-o was beaten 2 lengths by Black Smoke over C&D on his penultimate start but now meets that rival on 4 lb better terms. Black Smoke is respected nonetheless, while Socialist Agenda is also shortlisted and Calshot Spit makes some each-way appeal.

Tuesday's course scorer VIRTUAL HUG escapes a penalty as that win came in an apprentice event and he can follow up.

17:00 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

CHIEFMAN built on the promise shown as a juvenile when successfully stepping up to this trip on his handicap bow at Newcastle last week. The son of Cracksman is 2lb well-in under a penalty and further improvement appears likely. Road To Wembley is bred to improve as he gets older and has to be respected following his Wolverhampton triumph on Saturday, while a return to Lingfield could see Dire Wolf in the mix once again.

CHIEFMAN hadn't met expectations last year, but after 7 months off he was a commanding winner at Newcastle 10 days ago and a penalty might not be enough to prevent him from doubling his tally. He can see off the challenge of Road To Wembley, who also showed much improved form when making a successful handicap debut last week.

Recent improvers Chiefman and ROAD TO WEMBLEY are both 2lb well in under their 6lb penalties here. The latter gets the vote.

BALLYGRIFINCOTTAGE produced a big effort to fill the runner-up spot at Sandown and has been put up 3lb. Dan Skelton's nine-year-old remains unexposed for his age and he could prove a tough nut to crack. Sure Touch came from last to first in comfortable fashion at Taunton in February and it would be no surprise to see him get involved off a 7lb higher mark. The hat-trick seeking No Hubs No Hoobs also holds an obvious chance.

17:13 Clonmel Handicap Chase 23f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A winner over the minimum trip here last month, MICK CHARLIE should have no difficulty stepping up almost a mile in distance. Having already won over further as a hurdler, he looks particularly well treated from a 10lb lower mark in this discipline. Tangental is another horse whose chase rating appears exploitable relative to his hurdling one. However, with just the two starts over fences thus far, the Colm Murphy-trained eight-year-old does have to prove that he is equally as effective as a chaser. Having sent out an impressive winner at Cork on Monday, Killarney trainer Eamon Courtney clearly has his string in good health. With that in mind, it would come as no surprise to see Da Big Fella improve on recent efforts.

The vote goes to TANGENTAL, who stepped up on his low-key chase debut when fourth at Navan in January and he is on a good mark judged on his exploits over hurdles last spring. Mick Charlie wasn't at his best last time but was on a roll prior to that and he could be the one to follow the selection home, for all that Robinstown and Eddies Pride are also pretty strong each-way candidates.

TANGENTAL showed he may have a future over the larger obstacles when 4th last time out and there's probably more to come from him

17:23 Naas NH Flat Race 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

With form of his point-to-point second at Lingstown having subsequently been well advertised by the winner, OL MAN DINGLE can make a successful start to life under Rules. The Eoin Griffin-trained five-year-old was always prominent in that race, leading at the last and only losing out by a neck at the finish. Forty Coats, who won his only point-to-point start at Ballinaboola last month, also makes his Rules debut. Having his first run for Henry De Bromhead, the Diamond Boy gelding has obviously been pleasing connections at home. Although somewhat exposed after five outings, the John Ryan-trained Drumgill looks best of those with previous racecourse experience.

FORTY COATS showed plenty in a point and, having joined Henry de Bromhead he makes plenty of appeal starting out in a race that might not take much winning, acknowledging If You Let Me and Machismo may yet have more to offer.

John Gleeson is an eyecatching booking for \Ol Man Dingle\p but FORTY COATS, a point winner in February, is just preferred

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

TWOFORTHEGUTTER posted an encouraging third over 1m4f here in January and his finishing effort that day would suggest the extra two furlongs can unlock some improvement. Further Measure has been running with more credit than the bare form figures would suggest and he's one to consider from an attractive handicap mark, along with Bear Claws, for whom similar comments apply.

BEAR CLAWS shaped with plenty of encouragement upon joining this yard towards the back-end of 2023 and, though disappointing here when last seen in January, he will have every chance off this reduced mark if back to his best following a break. Further Measure has been given a chance by the handicapper and is next on the list ahead of Twoforthegutter, who shaped as though this stiffer test would suit when a running-on third over 12.2f here last time. Midnight Shimmer is worth a second look, too.

The race TWOFORTHEGUTTER was third in over 1m4f here in January has turned out to be decent low-level form so he's the suggestion.

KAPAL LAYAR changed hands for 72,000 euros in June 2022 and is a brother to Nina The Terrier, who struck on her bumper debut before developing into a smart hurdler. The son of Milan goes for the in-form Olly Murphy stable and could make an impression on his first start. English Willow is related to a NH Flat race winner and she needs monitoring in the betting, along with 40,000-euro purchase Rupert's Wish.

KAPAL LAYAR's sister made a winning debut in bumpers and was later successful over hurdles at this track so, without the benefit of market clues, she might be the one to side with for a shrewd outfit. Several others make appeal on paper but English Willow and Jessie Jump Jet might be the most forward.

Olly Murphy does well in bumpers and 72,000euros purchase KAPAL LAYAR earns the vote. Rupert's Wish is second choice.

17:48 Clonmel Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MAROTO is almost certainly capable of better than he has shown to date, so in an ordinary contest the Willie Mullins-trained seven-year-old gets the vote. Jumping mistakes have blighted the geldings short career to date but if putting in a more proficient round this afternoon, he has to be competitive. Zulu Mike was staying on when coming to grief at the final flight on his racecourse debut at Thurles last month. If that fall hasn't left its mark then the Philip Rothwell-trained gelding can go close. Opposite Ends is one to monitor in the market on just his second appearance in over 500 days. Charles Byrnes is unlikely to have persevered with the son of Mahler unless he felt there were races in him.

Not nearly so competitive as the numbers suggest and Willie Mullins' MAROTO looks very much the way to go on the back of his promising Punchestown debut when he was still well in touch when departing at the final flight. Zulu Mike appeals as the one to chase him home ahead of Midweek Voices.

Preference, is for ZULU MIKE who was staying on into real contention when falling two out at Thurles and could take the beating

18:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Adrian Wintle has had ACES WILD in terrific form of late and the son of Dandy Man, a C&D winner from 4lb lower 16 days ago, looks the one to beat once again. Spanish Angel is a dual C&D winner who has dropped back to 4lb below his last successful mark and he appears to be the biggest threat. Others to note include Rhubarb and Blazing Hot.

It's hard not to be drawn to ACES WILD, who opened his account for this yard in convincing fashion over C&D recently and a 4 lb rise is unlikely to stop him in his tracks. Spanish Angel has slipped to an attractive mark and wasn't beaten far here last time, so there is cause for optimism where he is concerned, while an on-song Blazing Hot wouldn't be without a chance either.

Aces Wild should make another bold bid but this is an ease in grade for SPANISH ANGEL and he can take full advantage.

18:18 Clonmel Maiden Hurdle 19f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Bumper winner LADY BLUEBIRD has to concede weight to all but one of her rivals but the seven-year-old looks capable of doing just that. The daughter of Retirement Plan showed enough on her recent hurdling debut to suggest she has a future over jumps. In a race where meaningful opposition looks thin on the ground, the Hugh Paul Finegan-trained mare can register a second career success. Cooltubrid Eva was well behind Lady Bluebird last time but is better off at these revised weights. A reproduction of her earlier second placing at Limerick would give her every chance. Dual bumper winner Innatendue struggled in a stronger race last time but should be far more competitive now she reverts to maiden company.

COOLTUBRID EVA disappointed at Punchestown last time but she's well worth another chance based on her promising hurdling debut at Limerick in December. Innatendue has been expensive to follow but still has to be considered a big threat back in maiden company, while Ashlia Dancer can't be dismissed either despite returning from an 18-month absence.

It may pay to side with LADY BLUEBIRD, winner of a competitive Punchestown bumper and open to improvement from her fair hurdles debut

18:30 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

TAN RAPIDO showed a fair level of form last summer, splitting two useful opponents when second on debut, prior to breaking through at Windsor. Providing he is fully tuned up on his return, the son of Bated Breath can give weight and a beating to his rivals. Maris Angel offered something to work with when fifth over 6f at Lingfield after being slowly away and she can make her presence felt, while Bluey's Boy merits respect on his first start since being gelded.

TAN RAPIDO is the clear pick on form and, with the likelihood of better to come this year, he should prove hard to beat. Maris Angel offered something to work on when fifth on her Lingfield debut and looks the chief threat, whilst Bluey's Boy is in good hands and can also make his presence felt.

Although he hasn't been seen since July previous winner TAN RAPIDO does rather stand out in this restricted novice.

18:48 Clonmel Handicap Hurdle 19f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Well supported when second here before Christmas, THE BIG CLOUD can reward those who stay loyal. The Shane Crawley-trained mare went close again when third next time at Punchestown but something clearly had to be amiss when she ran no sort of race last time. That disappointing effort needs to be forgiven but the six-year-old deserves another chance. Handicap debutant King Of Cong is one to note in the market. Trainer Terence O'Brien has enjoyed a good campaign and the former point-to-point runner-up will appreciate stepping up in trip here. Lilian Bland is most likely a better chaser than hurdler but it is hard to get away from her lower handicap mark over flights. She, too, can play a part in the finish.

LILIAN BLAND comes here on the back of chasing success at Thurles and is fancied to follow up reverted to this sphere off a 3 lb lower mark. Maiden Tingarran Express and C&D scorer Natural Breeze appeal as the pick of the rest and can chase home Niall Hennessy's mare in that order.

The vote goes to LILIAN BLAND who was a recent winner over fences and ought to go well from her lower hurdles rating

19:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GIANT impressed when readily making all at Kempton and, upped 6lb from his handy draw, he can show his rivals a clean pair of heels once more for the in-form Richard Spencer team. The likely strong pace should help Double Time to settle better and, now just 2lb above his last winning mark, he can give the selection most to think about. Bell Shot also warrants consideration on the back of his victory at Lingfield, although this step up in grade poses a question to him.

Mick Appleby was quick to strike with BELL SHOT and his new recruit can make light of a 4 lb weights rise and go in again at the chief expense of Kempton-scorer Giant. Woodstock made a positive start for Ruth Carr when fourth at Newcastle and needs factoring in too along with course-winner Rock Opera.

Mick Appleby has quickly worked his magic on BELL SHOT (nap) who can make light of a 4lb rise for last month's Lingfield success.

19:18 Clonmel NH Flat Race 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BALLYGUNNER CASTLE proved no match for two stablemates on his racecourse debut at Thurles but given that the runner-up went on to finish fifth in the Cheltenham bumper time may show that to have been no disgrace. This looks a nice opportunity for the five-year-old to step forward and record a first career win. Point-to-point winner Olympy De Cerisy has also shown ability since switching to racing under rules. Placed on both outings to date, the Declan Queally-trained gelding should once again be a major contender. Bleu De Vassy finished runner-up on his sole point-to-point start before occupying a similar position on his first two outings in bumpers. The Gordon Elliott-trained gelding needs to put a slightly below par run last time behind him if he is to get competitive.

BALLYGUNNER CASTLE offered promise on debut and should have learned from the experience, so he gets the nod over Bleu de Vassy, who should benefit from the drop back in trip. Olympy de Cerisy is another one to consider in what could be a tightly-knit affair.

This can go the way of BALLYGUNNER CASTLE whose form received a boost at the Cheltenham Festival; Olympy De Cerisy looks a danger

19:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

AMANCIO finished an agonisingly close second behind a subsequent winner at Lingfield on his penultimate start, and he gets the nod to bounce back from a fourth over 6f here most recently now stepping back up in trip. Koji went in at 33/1 on her stable debut over C&D and, nudged up just 2lb, it would be no surprise if she proved that effort was no flash in the pan. Cuban Harry remains relatively unexposed but will need to settle better, although he has been gelded during his break.

KOJI was suited by the return to this trip when making a winning debut for Ivan Furtado last month and hasn't been harshly treated for that victory. She may be able to follow up. Persian Phoenix and Cuban Harry rate the principal dangers.

It required only hand riding from Dale Swift for KOJI to edge ahead late on over C&D recently so a 2lb rise may not stop her.

20:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Snooze Lane, Crafter and Malacanne all have form that ties them close together and brings them into the equation, with the first-named suggested as the pick of that trio. However, LIGHT UP OUR STARS is better than his most recent form figures would suggest and he may be worth chancing off 4lb below his last winning mark. Scott Dixon's eight-year-old is versatile with regards to trip and, as a three-time course winner, he is dangerous to underestimate.

Sarah Hollinshead's SNOOZE LANE arrives at the top of his game so is fancied to quickly resume winning ways on the back of his good recent C&D third. Recent course runner-up Coolree is feared most, although a good case can also be made for the likes of Crafter, Graffiti and Classic Speed in a very open handicap.

Plenty with chances. CRAFTER didn't look all out here last time so a 2lb rise may not stop him going in again.

20:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ANGEL OF ANTRIM showed tenacity to prevail over C&D on his final appearance for his previous yard and a similar show of determination can see the four-year-old make a flying start for Phil McEntee. Set to run off just 3lb higher, this is well within reach for the four-year-old, who may have most to fear from fellow course scorers Olympic Quest and Meng Tian, with the former, a track-and-trip winner last time, suggested as the bigger threat.

Lots with chances so at the likely odds it is worth siding with DAPPLED LIGHT to build on his recent promising sixth here for Adrian Wintle and resume winning ways. Recent breakthrough C&D scorer Olympic Quest heads the list of dangers ahead of fellow C&D victors Wallaroo and Angel of Antrim. The handily-weighted Kraken Diamond completes the shortlist.

This could go to DAPPLED LIGHT, who is better than the bare facts of his first run for the yard last time and he may do better
