LTO Selection:

13:58 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The first-time visor may bring out some improvement from LOUGH CARRA, who has gone close a number of times in the past and looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to get off the mark. Swapped attempted to make all on his chasing debut at Newton Abbot last month when eventually finishing second behind Chief Black Robe, who has boosted the form again since, and must enter calculations in what doesn't appear the strongest of races. Miss Antipova could be due a change of luck having finished runner-up on her last three starts.

COTTON END is taken to build on her recent Uttoxeter effort and resume winning ways off a 3 lb lower mark here. Swapped could emerge as the chief threat if building on his Newton Abbot second on his first go over fences, with Huntingdon second Lough Carra another who can have a say in a trappy contest.

Assuming he is more fluent from the start, SWAPPED can defy top weight.

LTO Selection:

14:10 Salisbury Maiden (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Watcha Matey sets the standard of those to have raced after stepping forward from his introduction to fill the runner-up spot at Haydock. He may put that experience to good use against some interesting newcomers, but JUBILEE WALK cost 185,000 euros at the Goffs Orby sale and James Ferguson's colt, who is related to several winners, gets the vote to make a winning debut. Aragon Castle and Dancing Gemini are others worth noting.

The market should reveal plenty in this juvenile maiden and James Ferguson's JUBILEE WALK, bred to be useful, is taken to go in at the first time of asking ahead of fellow newcomer Aragon Castle. Watcha Matey appeals as the best of those with experience and can claim minor honours once more.

The vote goes to WATCHA MATEY, who sets a fair standard on his second at Haydock and is open to more progress on this step up in trip.

Be Here Now

16/1(+60%)
(2) Be Here Now 16/1, Oasis Dream gelding. Dam, 2-y-o 1m winner. Better for debut without threatening when sixth in 7-runner York maiden (6f) 11 days ago and a likely type for nurseries in due course.
Others have achieved more and he'll earn a mark after this.
LTO Selection:

14:20 Carlisle Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

All Is Fair showed inexperience on debut at Haydock but clearly has ability judging on his third-placed effort. He should step forward but preference is for LOCHABER, who had to settle for fourth when sent off favourite at Thirsk, stumbling near the finish. He has been gelded since that effort, which could bring about the necessary improvement needed to strike. Any market support for 30,000-euro purchase Due For Luck should be noted.

ALL IS FAIR was clearly learning as the race wore on when third in a Haydock novice on debut 2 weeks ago. He can do better and earns the vote. Lochaber rates a danger, whilst Chumbaa, who boasts plenty of experience, could give a good account on the front end in first-time cheekpieces back over 5f.

Preference is for ALL IS FAIR, who made the frame at Haydock despite plenty going wrong.

Out of his depth latest but won previous start and three chase wins at this track.
LTO Selection:

14:28 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BLUEBERRY WINE was last seen winning in game fashion at Aintree just under a fortnight ago and a 6lb rise may not be enough to stop him in his attempt to make it a hat-trick of victories. A first-time hood may squeeze out some improvement from Stepney Causeway, who has yet to get off mark over the larger obstacles having finished second at Warwick last month. Elios D'Or appears to save his best for this track, having won three times over C&D, and is dangerous to dismiss.

A competitive affair despite the small field, with the thriving BLUEBERRY WINE fancied to gain a fourth win from his last 5 starts. Recent Stratford winner Elios d'Or did too much too soon at Newton Abbot last time but has a good C&D record and can pose a major threat granted an uncontested lead, with Stepney Causeway also tricky to rule out.

The progressive BLUEBERRY WINE can complete a hat-trick.

(2) Grandfather Tom 9/1, Is now an 8-y-o but he's in the form of his life, completing the hat-trick at Leicester in comfortable fashion 11 days ago. 6 lb rise forces him into a better race but he's clearly thriving.
8yo who has won four of his last five starts and is as good as ever; big player again.
LTO Selection:

14:40 Salisbury Handicap (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Grandfather Tom completed a quickfire hat-trick at Leicester, but he has had the benefit of his jockeys' claims on his last couple of starts and faces a stiffer task. With that in mind, the vote goes to REDREDROBIN, who is another arriving in fine fettle, making it three wins from her last four starts over 6f here, and Malcolm Saunders' mare is unlikely to have any issue dropping back in trip. Saaheq and Just Glamorous appeal most of the remainder.

This is a drop in class for SAMPERS SEVEN and representing a yard in excellent order, she gets the vote in favour of the thriving pair Grandfather Tom and Redredrobin.

The vote goes to GRANDFATHER TOM (nap), who has won four of his last five starts and was as good as ever at Leicester 11 days ago.

LTO Selection:

14:50 Carlisle Stakes (Class 3) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

SOLDIER'S GOLD improved on his debut effort to fill the runner-up spot at Newbury and with further progression to come, he could prove very tough to beat. The main danger might be Lady Wulfrun, who suffered trouble in running before claiming fourth at Windsor and she can take another step forward. The betting might provide clues as to what to expect from 150,000gns breeze-up purchase Ajwadi on his first taste of competitive action.

SOLDIER'S GOLD left his debut form well behind when runner-up at Newbury 3 weeks ago, sticking to his task in likeable fashion. He looks the way to go, though Land Lover is a definite threat on form, while Ajwadi is a likely-looking newcomer.

Soldier's Gold is preferred to Land Lover among those who have run. AJWADI and Bandello are newcomers to note.

14:58 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

TALKINGTHETALK was given a fine ride from the front at Uttoxeter earlier this month and she could be dangerous if allowed a soft lead in receipt of weight all-round. Hardy Boy got off the mark over fences at Uttoxeter last month, despite not jumping with much fluency, and looks the likeliest danger given a clear round. Any market confidence behind Tiger Orchid, who is making his chasing debut, should be noted.

On just her second start over fences, TALKINGTHETALK benefited from the return to front-running tactics when opening her account at Uttoxeter and she can build on that effort to score again. The biggest threat could be Hardy Boy, who also arrives on the back of a win last time despite his less-than-fluent jumping. Bolsover Bill is the pick of the remainder.

Chasing debutant JET SMART is an interesting candidate off this mark.

15:10 Salisbury Stakes (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Ralph Beckett has already sent out two juvenile winners here this season and SLEVEN may well add to that tally. A 60,000gns purchase at the Craven Breeze-Up sale, the son of Acclamation is expected to know his job and could potentially get the better of rivals that have already shown promise, including Equity Law, who finished runner-up over C&D on debut. Rednblue Sovereign and Luas complete the shortlist.

Quite a valuable prize for a novice and it can go the way of EQUITY LAW who shaped well on his C&D debut a fortnight ago. Rednblue Sovereign took another step forward when runner-up over 7f at Sandown last time and can provide the chief threat unless the betting vibes are strong surrounding Ralph Beckett newcomer Sleven.

Top of the list is EQUITY LAW, who made a bold bid when runner-up over C&D two weeks ago and sets a good standard on that debut form.

15:20 Carlisle Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A tentative vote goes to ALPINE SIERRA, who struck at the first time of asking for the Jim Goldie team and three subsequent winners have come out of that Ayr race. The son of Distorted Humor seemed to show the benefit of wind surgery on that occasion and is only 2lb higher. Albegrey stormed five lengths away from his nearest rival over C&D last week and is a big danger under his 5lb penalty. Clear Angel and Jackhammer also arrive in winning form and can't be dismissed lightly.

Plenty are in with a shout but one of the most appealing is ALBEGREY, who ran out a five-length winner over C&D on his recent return and gets in under a 5 lb penalty here. Fellow C&D scorer What's The Story is a big threat on the back of a good York third in a much stronger race, although dual winner of this event Jackhammer and ready Wetherby scorer Clear Angel need factoring in too.

If in the same form as nine days ago then ALBEGREY should take some beating under a penalty.

15:28 Worcester NH Flat Race (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Irish raider CHEF D'ETAT won quite nicely on his debut at Tramore earlier this month and, with improvement likely, he is fancied to complete the double. Achtung Baby finished three lengths in front of Theweddingcanwait when a respectable fourth at Stratford and he could confirm that form, while Carpe Diem might be worth a market check ahead of his introduction.

This can go the way of CHEF D'ETAT, who caused a shock when opening his account first time up at Tramore earlier this month and Shark Hanlon's 4-y-o looks to have been found a good opportunity to double his tally. Achtung Baby and Theweddingcanwait weren’t beaten far in a slowly-run contest at Stratford just under 4 weeks ago and they look the main dangers to the selection in that order.

It is hard to oppose CHEF D'ETAT after his debut win.

SKYSAIL appeals as just the type to continue improving after a comfortable success on his return at Goodwood last month. The son of Tasleet relished the step up to a mile on that occasion and he should have too much for surprise Southwell winner Swift Lioness and Helm Rock, who has been knocking on the door of late with some solid efforts in defeat.

In first-time blinkers, SKYSAIL relished the longer trip when making a winning handicap debut at Goodwood on his return and he can follow up with further progress to come. Swift Lioness also arrives on the back of a win last time out and could be the main danger, while Helm Rock can give another good account.

15:50 Carlisle Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Fresh from a successful week at Royal Ascot, the Michael Appleby team can strike again with GOLDEN SANDS, who was a comfortable winner at Beverley last time out and a 6lb rise may not to be enough to prevent him from following up. Stablemate United Front might give him plenty to think about, along with the consistent On The River and Mostawaa. Others to note include Garden Oasis, Painters Palette and Pillar Of Hope.

Unsurprisingly claims can be made for most and with that in mind a chance is taken on VACCINE. He ran well when placed in a pair of Pontefract handicaps during the spring and any further easing of the ground will hold no fears on the back of a short break. Painters Palette for Rebecca Menzies, Beverley-scorer United Front and hat-trick seeking Mostawaa head the dangers. The thriving Bashful can't be discounted either if taking up this engagement.

The chances are this will be run at a strong pace and that will suit STAR ZINC (nap), who won well in the end at Southwell.

GAIUS has earned himself a rating of 108 (the highest in this line-up) with a number of decent efforts in defeat, including when runner-up to an odds-on favourite at Market Rasen last time, and this represents a fantastic opportunity for him to open his account under NH rules. Painless Potter and Elusive Enemy also arrive following solid placed efforts and merit consideration, while 'Shark' Hanlon's Humanitarian cannot be ruled out either.

GAIUS has returned with a couple of fine runs and this looks a good chance for him to open his account in this sphere. Irish runner Humanitarian is interesting, while The Galahad Kid would obviously demand respect if turned out quickly following Monday's good effort at Southwell.

The steadily improving GAIUS makes most appeal.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

RAJASTHAN ran two highly creditable races as a two-year-old behind some classy individuals and he should be primed to go on his return. The step up in trip is a major plus and the well-bred son of Dubawi gets the vote ahead of Spectacular Style, who ran a race full of promise when second to a stable companion of the selection's on debut at Redcar. Sgian Dubh is one with experience of the track and could benefit from the drop in distance.

A 625,000 gns yearling son of Frankel, SPECTACULAR STYLE shaped promisingly amidst clear greenness when finishing runner-up at Redcar last month and with above-average improvement a distinct possibility, Roger Varian's 3-y-o is fancied to go a place better at the expense of Rajasthan, who showed plenty of ability when placed on both outings last year. Sgian Dubh can fill out third spot.

This rests between SPECTACULAR STYLE and Rajasthan. The former looks sure to step up significantly from his debut second.

LTO Selection:

16:20 Carlisle Handicap (Class 4) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The value may lie with DREAM HARDER because he ran an excellent race at York behind an in-form handicapper who has gone in again since. Ian Williams' charge remains unexposed on the turf and he is narrowly preferred to easy Ripon winner Knightswood and C'mon Kenny, who was a determined scorer at Pontefract last time out. Gibside and Two Brothers are expected to be thereabouts as well.

DREAM HARDER has shaped well in defeat on a few occasions since his latest win on AW in February and is selected to get his head back in front now. Two Brothers and Jewel Maker represent stables with winning form in this race in recent years and head the dangers along with the selection's stablemate C'mon Kenny, who has a tricky draw but still looks well treated up 4 lb for Pontefract.

Ian Williams has two strong candidates in DREAM HARDER and C'Mon Kenny who both look as they will prove suited by this stiff track.

16:28 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 2) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

A convincing winner of the Persian War on his penultimate start, this represents a significant drop in grade for ACCIDENTAL REBEL, who has a fine record over C&D. The nine-year-old may have too much class for the likes of easy Warwick scorer Everyonesgame and Finisk River, who has won three of his last four starts. Galata Bridge and Merry Berry cannot be ruled out either.

This is a step up in class for GALATA BRIDGE but he's one of few in this line-up who doesn't have form/fitness queries against him and might be up to defying a small rise. Finisk River represents last year's winning trainer/jockey combination and could be a threat if ready to roll after 7 months off. Fergal O'Brien pair Accidental Rebel and Merry Berry, who has a good strike-rate but hasn't been seen for 12 months, are others to consider.

Charlie Longsdon has two runners with good chances and progressive novice EVERYONESGAME earns the vote.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Krona has shown significant improvement since going handicapping, bolting up at Kempton and Southwell. She will need to transfer that form to the turf, though, so she is passed over in favour of NADER KING, who could improve for this step up in trip after he was beaten into third behind a subsequent Royal Ascot winner over 1m2f at Newbury. Maasai Mara takes a step down in grade following a good fourth at the Derby meeting and has to be respected.

A competitive 3-y-o handicap, with the bottom-weight KRONA fancied to land the hat-trick after completing a quickfire double on AW in February. Gozo took a significant step forward on his handicap debut at Haydock last time and is feared most, with Nader King also open to progress stepped up further in trip.

Preference is for MAASAI MARA following his staying-on fourth over 1m2f in a better race at Epsom. Nader King is next best.

16:50 Carlisle Listed (Class 1) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

CEANNA pulled too hard on her return to action at Newmarket, but made amends when impressing in a Southwell handicap. The assessor has responded with an 18lb hike, so it is no surprise to see connections attempting to gain black type with the daughter of Showcasing. Secret Angel's form against some classier types gives her every chance, while Lady Onyx is open to progression having finished third at Musselburgh in this grade on just her second start.

VETIVER boasts a progressive profile and acquitted herself well in tough conditions at Chester last time, so she's marginally preferred to Ceanna, who made a big impression when landing a handicap at Southwell recently. Lady Onyx is another one to consider in an open listed race.

While SECRET ANGEL is more exposed than some of these and carries a penalty, she brings solid credentials to the table.

LTO Selection:

16:55 Naas Maiden 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Donnacha O'Brien's ASEAN showed marked improvement on her second start when third over this trip in Navan. The form of that contest is very strong as the winner was just touched off by a head in the Chesham at Royal Ascot. Scorchio ran a lovely race in second on debut at Listowel after attracting support and, granted normal improvement, has to rate a danger. Joseph O'Brien has won two of the last four renewals of this race and his Ascendent was only 9/2 for her debut in Fairyhouse, where she finished seventh. She is highly likely to improve. Ten Sovereigns is fast becoming a sire of speedy juveniles so newcomer Autumn Rose, a stablemate of Asean, is well worth monitoring for market strength. A drop in trip could help Back Down Under's cause.

SCORCHIO holds the edge on the form of her Listowel debut second and with progress on the cards she looks the way to go in a maiden where the market could have a big say. Moral Turpitude is progressing along the right lines and very much one to consider, with newcomers Coulstar and Autumn Rose not without interest either.

Donnacha O'Brien's ASEAN will not need to improve much from her run behind the Chesham Stakes runner-up Pearls And Rubies to win this.

Now that the penny has dropped for LIGHTHOUSE MILL after a stylish success over further at Stratford, the son of Leading Light can follow up off a 9lb higher mark. That may be at the main expense of the hat-trick-seeking Rock The House and Sufi, who won well at Stratford last week. Sermando also have the form to get involved.

LIGHTHOUSE MILL is going the right way now and holds solid claims of making all in the same way he did at Stratford earlier in the month. Sermando and the hat-trick seeking Rock The House look the main dangers.

Lots to consider but preference is for SERMANDO (nap) after his Fakenham success.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PERFECT GENTLEMAN put a Kempton disappointment behind him when runner-up at Yarmouth and he only has to compete off a 1lb higher rating. He is also aided by the services of Harry Davies, who claims 3lb, so he might be tough to beat. Racing Demon stuck his neck out to triumph at Chepstow and he can go well once more off 3lb higher, while Commission's handicap debut on his Goodwood comeback was ordinary but he can't be written off just yet.

PERFECT GENTLEMAN is generally progressive and stayed on nicely to finish second at Yarmouth last time, so he's fancied to get back to winning ways. Vegas Jack is in good form and could pose the main threat, although Goodwood Vision is a likely improver on handicap debut.

An open race in which recent Chepstow winner RACING DEMON gets the vote ahead of Perfect Gentleman and Vegas Jack.

There was only a neck to separate Moondial (first) and BOOM BOOM POW (second) at Salisbury 10 days ago, however, given it was the latter's first start for Jo Davis, she's taken to reverse those placings this time around. Ceilidh performed with credit on his first start for George Baker when third at Brighton earlier this month and shouldn't be dismissed lightly. Musterion has been running well of late but this drop in trip tempers enthusiasm.

BOOM BOOM POW made an excellent start for Jo Davis when a neck second to Moondial and assuming she's in that sort of form switched to the AW, she's weighted to reverse the placings with that rival, Of the rest, Musterion needs considering back down in trip.

The Jo Davis-trained BOOM BOOM POW must prove herself on AW, but is weighted to reverse recent Salisbury placings with Moondial.

17:20 Carlisle Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

TELLUS had excuses when attempting to make it three on the bounce at York last month, with fast ground being blamed post-race, and the likelihood of more ease in underfoot conditions may help her bounce back on this occasion. Iris Dancer carries a 5lb penalty for her victory at Hamilton last week and has to enter calculations, along with another penalised runner in Platinum Girl. who did it well over C&D.

CLASSIC PUZZLE seemed to find listed company too much on her latest outing but she'd previously looked a filly to keep onside and could get back on the up having her first crack at handicaps. Platinum Girl, a good winner over C&D recently, heads the dangers. Gometra Ginty who has landed this race for each of the last 2 years and Iris Dancer are next best.

It may pay to give another chance for TELLUS to maintain this season's progress after reportedly finding the ground too quick at York.

LTO Selection:

17:30 Naas Handicap 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SILVER NEMO was an eyecatching fourth on his seasonal reappearance in Navan. He made up a lot of ground in the final furlong and, as that run came off a long break, he should come on from it. Jazzy Dancer ran well for a long way off the front over 6f in the Curragh before dropping to sixth. The handicapper has certainly given him a chance and it is worth noting that he made all to win this race last year. Stanhope showed up well in second (two places in front of Silver Nemo) at Navan, which has to bring him into contention, and jockey Mikey Sheehy was on board for his last victory at Navan in October. Catherine Chroi drops to the minimum trip for the first time, but has been running consistently well since the end of April. So Majestic got off the mark in Down Royal on Friday and is dangerous under the mandatory 7lb penalty. Samrogue hasn't landed a blow this year, but is capable of better.

PEERLESS is on an appealing mark and returned to form when runner-up at Fairyhouse last time, so he gets the tentative vote in a wide-open contest. So Majestic is on the up and worth considering despite her penalty for last week's Down Royal success, while Silver Nemo is one of several others for whom a case can be made.

The only last time out winner SO MAJESTIC makes plenty of appeal here with a less exposed profile than most of her rivals

17:40 Bath Handicap (Class 5) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Lady Rascal was only denied by a length and a half when she stepped up to 1m6f for the first time and she looks a big player once more off 3lb higher. However, preference is for BOOK OF TALES, who continued his fine form to bring the double up at Yarmouth last time and could prove tough to beat once more in his current mood. Bravura could have more to offer as he takes a further step up in distance.

A case can be made for all of these but Sir Mark Prescott's BRAVURA looks open to the most progress on just his second handicap start and can open his account at the chief expense of hat-trick seeking Book of Tales.

Charlie Johnston's BOOK OF TALES is 2-2 since fitted with blinkers, so could hold sway over the lightly raced Bravura.

LTO Selection:

17:50 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

VINAKA went agonisingly close on her stable/handicap debut when going down by a head to finish third at Salisbury just over a fortnight ago, her first start since October, and a repeat of that effort can see her go close. Intricate Pillar got off the mark in determined fashion over C&D in December and an opening mark of 70 appears workable. Liberty Mountain ran with credit on all three starts last month and can also make the frame.

ADELA OF CHAMPAGNE is in good hands and took a step forward when second at this course 49 days ago. The drop in trip shouldn't pose an issue, so she's preferred to last-time-out C&D winner Intricate Pillar. Handicap debutant Weydaad is also of interest.

Whichever one of INTRICATE PILLAR and Weydaad is best primed to strike on seasonal/handicap debut may determine the outcome.

18:00 Naas Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Jessica Harrington's NELDA ran on strongly to get up for second on the line at Listowel and could go one place better. That was a highly promising debut effort considering she got to within three-quarters of a length of the winner. Another horse with a '2' beside her name is Pier Pressure. Her runner-up finish came over C&D in September last year and the horse who beat her is now rated 95, so it is more than reasonable to think that Pier Pressure would be up to landing a maiden. Harrington also runs Danvers Gold, who made 320,000gns at Tattersalls. There was plenty of promise in her opening third at the Curragh just over a year ago and while she didn't run to the same level when reappearing at the Curragh last month, there is more in her locker.

NELDA has plenty to recommend her pedigree-wise and her debut at Listowel was full of promise, so she's up to winning a maiden. Pier Pressure is another sure-fire improver, with Danvers Gold, a stablemate of the selection, also considered.

With the benefit of race-fitness recent Listowel second NELDA may have an edge over Pier Pressure who makes his seasonal debut

LTO Selection:

18:10 Bath Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Lady Of Sardinia took a big step forward on her second start as she went in by a head at Chelmsford in a first-time tongue-tie. However, she carries a 7lb penalty for that success, which could leave the door open for SHE IS A KEEPER. The Richard Hannon-trained filly shaped well on debut at Lingfield over 7f and is taken to relish this drop in distance. Invincible Tiger shouldn't be ruled out either.

INVINCIBLE TIGER built on an encouraging debut effort faced with much quicker conditions when third in a Hamilton maiden 4 weeks ago, that despite not being ideally placed. Open to further progress, she could be worth siding with to come out on top, possibly at the chief expense of Chelmsford scorer Lady of Sardinia. She Is A Keeper is another to consider.

James Tate's INVINCIBLE TIGER looks very much the way to go on the back of her promising Hamilton third and she can open her account.

18:20 Kempton Maiden (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

VENTURA EMPRESS went off a strong favourite at Lingfield nine days ago and, although she finished fourth on that occasion, she's fancied to get off the mark with that debut experience now under her belt. Another who showed potential on debut was Bigger Than Giga, who finished third at Lingfield over a furlong shorter and looks sure to improve for this extra yardage. Any market confidence behind the unraced Lucy Lockett would be noteworthy.

Not a strong-looking maiden on paper and VENTURA EMPRESS, who showed plenty first time up at Lingfield last week, is fancied to open her account with improvement on the cards providing stall 10 isn't an inconvenience. Bigger Than Giga shaped well at the same meeting and can also progress. Beauty Generation is a newcomer to note.

Bigger Than Giga and VENTURA EMPRESS showed promise in different races on their Lingfield debuts. The latter is just given the nod.

18:30 Naas Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ALL THINGS NICE was due to make her seasonal bow in Listed company at Cork last month, but was scratched because of testing ground. She was last seen finishing sixth at that level at Dundalk in March, so this represents a drop in class for her. Aussie Girl and Sean Bowen were just caught on the line in Fairyhouse and have every chance of gaining compensation. This Starspangledbanner filly is still on an appealing mark with Bowen's 7lb claim factored in. Top-weight Apricot Twist is eminently capable of landing a blow in first-time blinkers. Son Of Sampers made the breakthrough in a Cork maiden and should be a factor with Jamie Powell taking 5lb off his back, while Cash Or Crypto, Charming Lady and Not Just Yet cannot be ruled out in a deep race.

NOT JUST YET produced easily his best effort to date despite being forced to make his challenge widest of all when shedding the maiden tag at Listowel (7f) 24 days ago. A 3 lb rise for that success looks fair and he could be the answer with the return to sprinting holding no fears. Son of Sampers and Aussie Girl head the dangers in a competitive 3-y-o handicap.

CHARMING LADY didn't get an ideal run through when winning 12 days ago and she's taken to confirm the form with more to come at 6f

18:40 Bath Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Gustav Ucicky wasn't beaten far at Haydock last time and he warrants plenty of respect competing off 2lb lower, but TALAMANCA just shades the vote. The son of Rajasinghe weakened late on over 6f at Thirsk on his return from a 69-day break but he is well treated on the evidence of last September's Redcar success. Outreach should be monitored in the betting on his handicap bow.

TALAMANCA shaped well back from 10 weeks off when fifth in a handicap at Thirsk earlier this month, finishing first home in group from a less-than-ideal draw. Operating from his last winning mark, he gets the vote to confirm the promise of that run with victory here. Spirit of Breeze and the class-dropping Gustav Ucicky on just his second start for Mick Appleby head the dangers.

Perhaps GUSTAV UCICKY can make it 12th-time lucky. He shaped reasonably well on his first start for Mick Appleby at Haydock.

18:50 Kempton Maiden (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

There are a number of interesting newcomers here, with RED TROOP making slightly more appeal than Magsood, Primetime and Cuban Fiesta. His price rose from 70,000gns to 110,000gns from a yearling to a two-year-old and the booking of William Buick catches the eye. Magsood represents powerful connections and demands respect, while Inishfallen looks best of those with previous racecourse experience.

Plenty in with a squeak but the vote goes to BALAGH, who was spared a hard race once it was clear he wasn't going to figure on debut at Ascot 8 weeks ago. Andrew Balding's colt should've derived plenty from that and he can get the better of Magsood, who makes plenty of paper appeal for his in-form handler but does have a wide stall to negotiate. Parker's Piece and Cuban Fiesta can battle out minor honours.

This can go to MAGSOOD who is bred to be useful and the stable has a fine record with 2yo newcomers.

19:00 Naas Listed 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

EMPRESS OF BEAUTY won well on debut and is a half-sister to a seven-time stakes winner. A 200,000-euro yearling purchase, she was unraced for French trainer Jean Claude Rouget, was bought for 60,000 euros last December and debuted successfully at Gowran. The runner-up was subsequently placed at Group 3 level while reappearing Perfect Portrait finished third, and won subsequently. Frankel-sired Maxux also won on Gowran debut and while that maiden wasn't overly competitive, won easily and is related to Group winners. Another debut winner Mashia was well held by an experienced, subsequent Listed winner last month but races against fillies-of-her-own-age tonight. Library was juvenile Listed-placed and ran well against older fillies over a longer trip at Cork recently. Shamwari was badly hampered on debut, ran well in a recent Listed and drops slightly in trip. Small Oasis was sixth in a Longchamp Listed race on June 11 and runs in first-time blinkers while progressive Snowcapped steps up from handicaps.

SHAMWARI shaped well when chasing home recent Ulster Derby winner Tower of London in a listed race at Leopardstown 3 weeks ago and gets the vote with further improvement likely. Dermot Weld's Mashia should have more to come and is feared most ahead of the selection's stablemate Maxux, who won well on her Gowran debut 10 days ago.

It could pay to focus on the less-exposed runners and SHAMWARI is put forward against debut winners Empress of Beauty and Maxux

SYMBOL OF HOPE was denied a hat-trick of victories when finishing third here over slightly further earlier this month, having been run down inside the final furlong. The return to the minimum distance is likely to see Grace Harris' gelding return to winning ways running off the same mark. Alfred Cove is capable of being in the mix based on recent performances, while Regal Envoy completes the shortlist after his latest fourth at Haydock.

REGAL ENVOY produced his best effort of the season when fourth at Haydock a fortnight ago and eased slightly in grade, he could be the way to go. Symbol of Hope and Connie's Rose are in excellent order and head the opposition.

Multiple course winner SYMBOL OF HOPE (nap) is at the top of his game, and has Billy Loughnane up, so he can repeat last year's victory

Covert Legend ran a blinder at Wolverhampton last time and has an obvious chance lining up off the same mark, but it could pay to side with SHIGAR. William Haggas' charge has improved with each start so far this year and the application of a first-time hood could potentially unlock another gear. Golden Passport also merits consideration with his sights lowered.

SHIGAR will be suited by the return to 1m and can strike for William Haggas. Golden Passport and Lisboa are unexposed 3-y-os who may have more to offer and head the dangers along with course specialist Uzincso.

The vote goes to LISBOA who steps up a furlong for his handicap/AW debut and is bred to be better than he has shown so far.

19:30 Naas Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TOUCHING CLOUDS was narrowly beaten from 2lb lower recently and tonight's rider claims 7lb. Naas was a lucky racecourse for her high-class, middle-distance dam and having run well in first-time blinkers at Gowran, reverts to a mile and beat dual recent claimer winner Big Baby Bull seven lengths in May and is now 10lb better off. This is a stronger race than the one Winemaker won easily at Listowel recently but his 7lb rise offset by his rider's claim and remains somewhat unexposed. Factethepuckout's best form is on easy ground but has form on good and has been running well. Pinball Wizard has recent form at this distance and while likely to be competitive, is vulnerable to progressive types. Hastily ran well under a 10lb claimer on reappearance but is 10lb out of the handicap.

PINBALL WIZARD went down only on the nod at Gowran last time and can show he's still on a good mark. Winemaker won well on his Listowel stable debut and could have more to come as an unexposed 3-y-o so he's feared most ahead of Dermot Weld's Touching Clouds.

Course winner WINEMAKER (nap) is only up 7lb for a three length win on return. He may come on for that and improve for a step up to 1m

Millicent has stepped forward on her last couple of starts and the addition of a tongue-tie may eke out further improvement.

DEACS DELIGHT finally got off the mark at Lingfield on Saturday and is weighted to go close again so edges the vote from Shabs, who made a positive start for Joseph Parr when runner-up at the same track last time out and rates a major threat. Millicent can't be ruled out either on the back of her good Chepstow second.

This can lie between MILLICENT and Deacs Delight with Fact Or Fable also respected.

LTO Selection:

19:50 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SANDY PARADISE produced a career-best performance when returned to the all-weather over 7f here last time, scoring with a bit in hand, and a 5lb rise in the ratings might not be enough to anchor him if arriving in the same mood. Oliver Show wears a first-time tongue-tie on his handicap debut and makes plenty of appeal, while Molly Valentine shouldn't be too far away either.

Returned to the all-weather, SANDY PARADISE was well on top at the finish when recording a third course success here (first at 7f) 3 weeks ago and he can score again back up in trip. Garrick Painter won easily at this C&D in February and is feared most back at this venue, with Molly Valentine completing the shortlist.

The vote goes to MOLLY VALENTINE (nap) who ran well when third over C&D recently (fifth has won since) and races off the same mark.

LTO Selection:

20:00 Naas Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ETERNAL SILENCE's sister Touching Clouds is the selection for the earlier race and she returned to form recently. A Group 1-placed juvenile, she became upset in stalls in the 1,000 Guineas and while her effort was tame, showed more at Leopardstown and steps back up to a mile. Water Nymph, closely related to dual Group 1 winner Fancy Blue, has unexciting form and drops back to a mile but can get involved for the placings. Hotaugustnight might turn course-and-distance May form with Muhaarar's Girl, having been slowly away, although both need to improve. Jeaniemacaroney won a barrier trial last August but was beaten 6.5 lengths by Water Nymph in October and would be a surprise winner. Lady Meis, out of a Listed winner, and Santa Fe, by Starspangledbanner but with stamina on her dam's side, make belated debuts.

ETERNAL SILENCE is the form pick and a return to 1m should bring her back to her best, so she's marginally preferred to Water Nymph. Lady Meis is a notable newcomer for a top stable.

ETERNAL SILENCE has proved herself at Group level already and only found a promising sort too good in a maiden last time

LTO Selection:

20:10 Bath Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Plenty with chances here, but hat-trick seeking WAR CHANT receives weight all round and he could be the answer. With Connor Planas' claim taken into consideration, he is effectively 1lb lower than when scoring at Wetherby last time and another bold bid looks assured. Hi Clare and Havana Goldrush are other last-start winners to note, while Newbury runner-up Natzor also merits consideration.

WAR CHANT can complete a quick hat-trick with Connor Planas taking a handy 5 lb off. Recent Hamilton winner Hi Clare may give him most to do ahead of Natzor in a race in which the 3-y-os may dominate.

Archie Watson's NATZOR took a big step forward on his handicap debut when runner-up at Newbury and can build on it here

LTO Selection:

20:20 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Wild Hurricane is an interesting contender in a handicap for the first time for the Saeed bin Suroor stable, and could find improvement for the application of a hood. However, SILASTAR is the way to go, as he went in by just under two lengths on his latest outing at Sandown and should be able to defy the 5lb rise in the weights to record a treble. Chips And Rice is another to consider.

SILASTAR is an improved model this season and looks capable of completing the hat-trick after recent wins at Leicester and Sandown. Chips And Rice has ran well on both of her outings for James Fanshawe, latterly when chasing home an unexposed pair of 3-y-os, and is feared most, with Down To The Kid taken to complete the placings.

An open race in which James Fanshawe's CHIPS AND RICE gets the vote ahead of the hat-trick seeker Silastar.

LTO Selection:

20:30 Naas Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SHAYZANN ran promisingly on debut and should benefit from the run. By a leading stallion, he is out of a Group-winning dam who has already produced two Group winners and while last month's debut was somewhat belated, he showed plenty, with the runner-up finishing seventh in a big-field Royal Ascot handicap last week. Caulaincourt, a brother to a Group 2 winner, was beaten 4.75 lengths by the selection at Gowran and while he also showed promise, might struggle to turn placings. Livio Milo would have been Galway-bound in times past and while frustrating to follow, likes a mile and is ground-versatile. Woodcock Flight has some place claims in a first-time visor while first-time tongue-tied Chiketto disappointed in a first-time hood recently.

LIVIO MILO has had a few chances now but doesn't appear to be doing that much wrong so he's worth another chance. Shayzann is a sure-fire improver so has to be feared, with Caulaincourt also of interest.

LTO Selection:

20:40 Bath Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Galactic Glow wears first-time cheekpieces and could go well, as could Ladypacksapunch, who was much improved when only three-parts of a length behind the former on her latest outing over this C&D. However, the fourth that day, KRAKEN FILLY, emerged with most credit after losing many lengths at the start and she was again slowly away on her most recent outing. If sharper away from the stalls this time, she could prove hard to beat.

CRAGGY RANGE hit the line with running left when sixth at Brighton on handicap debut and, with more to come, he's worth chancing upped to a trip that should suit. Ladypacksapunch and Kraken Filly both arrive in form but lack the potential of the selection.

A few with chances here but KRAKEN FILLY is thriving under the tutelage of Joe Ponting and this C&D winner is taken to emerge on top

LTO Selection:

20:50 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

La Belle Vie (second) had Devizes (third) behind when only denied by a neck over C&D earlier in the month, and she is likely to have her supporters as she only competes off a 1lb higher mark. However, the vote goes to TRADESMAN, who continues to drop in the weights and showed some more life last time at Chelmsford when only beaten under five lengths into fifth. He could improve for first-time cheekpieces.

Not so competitive as the numbers suggest and SOCIOLOGIST is fancied to gain a deserved success on the back of a string of good efforts. Course scorer Devizes could emerge as the main danger ahead of in-form pair Tradesman and Livalot.

Not bred for 1m3f-1m4f, LIVALOT might even appreciate further than that now. She may have most to fear from La Belle Vie.
