LTO Selection:

13:35 Newcastle Handicap (Class 4) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MASO BASTIE has an attractive, progressive profile and made a highly encouraging return to action over 1m2f at Nottingham, gamely edging out subsequent Britannia fifth Tempered Soul. There is every chance that he will improve again for this extra distance and a bold bid looks assured first time in handicap company. True Legend drops in both trip and class after disappointing at Doncaster and much better is expected, while Oh So Charming cannot be ruled out either.

MASO BASTIE showed useful form when defying a penalty at Nottingham on his return and an opening mark of 87 may underestimate him, especially with further progress on the cards. True Legend never looked like completing the hat-trick at Doncaster but that was a better race than this so he can be expected to make much more of an impact here, with the unexposed Oh So Charming best of the others.

Preference is for MASO BASTIE who makes his handicap debut after narrowly winning his last two novices. There is more to come from him.

LTO Selection:

13:50 Nottingham Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Of the newcomers, markets checks are required for Midnight Force, Pinjarra and Mc Loven as the standard set by those with experience is not too daunting. The best piece of form on offer is the debut effort of Via Electriano, so if she can bounce back to that level then she will be a major player. Slight preference is for ROYAL EXPERT, who shaped with a fair degree of promise when beaten half a length at Chelmsford on debut and any improvement on that will make him an obvious contender.

There was promise from ROYAL EXPERT when a close third on her debut and the runner-up has boosted the form by winning since so she's the suggestion. Lincoln Royal and Coin Power also showed clear ability on their first visits to the racecourse and should be in the mix if making the anticipated improvement. Santa Rosalia and Never Simple are 2 of many newcomers who need keeping an eye on in the betting.

It might be worth giving another chance to VIA ELECTRIANO, who had an excuse at Brighton and sets the standard on her debut form.

LTO Selection:

14:00 Newmarket Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CHEEKY BLIMEY wasn't beaten far into fourth at Leicester on debut and it wouldn't take a great deal of improvement for him to get his head in front here. Marco Botti's colt is likely to know more for the experience and this looks like a good opportunity to shed his maiden tag. Skilled Master and Empire Of Light appear to be the biggest dangers after also running with promise first time out.

CHEEKY BLIMEY showed ability when fourth of 15 at Leicester on debut and is the clear pick on form in what looks a weak novice for the track. George Scott has saddled 3 winning 2-y-o newcomers this season so Cracksman-gelding Octet may emerge as the biggest threat.

Empire Of Light is open to improvement on his second start but CHEEKY BLIMEY sets the standard after his fourth of 15 at Leicester.

14:10 Newcastle Maiden (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CHIC COLOMBINE built on her pleasing debut performance when runner-up at Leicester and with further improvement possible, she could make it third-time lucky. Night Safari wasn't disgraced behind subsequent Albany seventh Dawn Charger at Carlisle and he will almost certainly improve for this extra furlong. Alice Haynes' juveniles have been flying this season so any market support for US-bred newcomer Rich Harry could be worth noting.

CHIC COLOMBINE took a small step forward from her debut when finishing runner-up at Leicester 12 days ago and, with further progress in the pipeline, George Boughey's filly is fancied to make it third time lucky. Night Safari still looked rough around the edges at Carlisle 4 weeks ago and he may well emerge as the main danger, ahead of Chatty. Market support for newcomer Rich Harry would put a slightly different slant on things.

The choice is CHIC COLOMBINE who has been a beaten short-priced favourite on turf in her first two starts but still has the best form.

14:25 Nottingham Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SNUGGLE is improving with each run and looks to be on a very attractive mark at present, having won in novice company at Windsor when last seen in May. The main question mark with the selection will be the ground, as his better efforts have come with some cut. Winter Crown continues to shape like his turn is close and he will be dangerous if the gaps appear. Although Seven Brothers has been badly out of form of late, he has dropped to a very dangerous mark and any market support would need noting.

Perhaps best to focus on the 3-y-os. WINTER CROWN caught the eye in a competitive Sky Bet Sunday Series race at Beverley last time and can come good with the return to 6f in his favour. Snuggle went close in a handicap prior to getting off the mark in a novice last time and is feared most ahead of Ibiza Love, who reappears for new trainer Alice Haynes.

Snuggle is respected but WINTER CROWN (nap) didn't get much luck at Beverley and looks interesting back up in trip.

LTO Selection:

14:35 Newmarket Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Dashing Panther belied long odds when scoring over this distance at Newbury, but he may be vulnerable after a 5lb rise for such a narrow success so the nod goes to REINA DEL MAR. Ed Walker's top-weight has been given a chance by the handicapper having been dropped 3lb following her fifth at Windsor last month and she can take full advantage. Ayr runner-up Whatacracker should also be thereabouts.

Cases can be made for a few of these, but preference is for REINA DEL MAR, who has seemingly been building up her fitness after a long absence and Ed Walker's 5-y-o can double her tally down to a career-low mark. Whatacracker ran well but was no match for a thriving rival at Ayr earlier this month and he may have to settle for silver again, while Allo Al Khawaneej and Damascus Steel can battle out minor honours.

The 3yo WHATACRACKER promises to be suited by 1m4f and he earns the vote ahead of handicap newcomer Allo Al Khawaneej.

LTO Selection:

14:45 Newcastle Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Biloxi Boy left his debut performance well behind when winning at Ripon and this extra furlong could potentially unlock another gear, but NEVER FEAR is chanced in receipt of 5lb. She could never get competitive from the rear in the Hilary Needler at Beverley but more aggressive tactics, like those applied when successful at Wolverhampton on debut, may see a different filly. Ballymount Boy was bought for 110,000 euros last month and can hopefully show up well on his introduction.

BILOXI BOY was really strong at the finish when successful over 5f at Ripon 3 weeks ago so with 6f certain to suit, he looks capable of successfully conceding weight all round. Never Fear is the obvious danger, for all D Point will surely know more this time.

The vote goes to NEVER FEAR. She was out of her depth last time but had previously made a winning debut on the Wolverhampton Tapeta.

LTO Selection:

15:00 Nottingham Stakes (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The obvious starting point is Elegancia, who shaped with a fair degree of promise in a Listed race at Goodwood last time and drops back to novice company here. A reproduction of any of her starts to date will put her right in the mix. However, preference is for LONG AGO, who showed a really good attitude to win over 1m2f on her second start at Chelmsford and may well be up to defying the penalty, especially if ridden with positive tactics around here. Mistressofillusion and Queen Emma are likely improvers too.

LONG AGO left her debut run well behind when landing a 15-runner AW novice 3 weeks ago and she couldn't be in better hands to progress. Defying a penalty against the likes of Elegancia, Mistressofillusion and Queen Emma will be no formality but she may well be up to the job.

The vote goes to ELEGANCIA, who ran respectably in a Listed race at Goodwood last time.

LTO Selection:

15:10 Newmarket Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CROW'S NEST arrives here seeking a hat-trick after victories at Hamilton and, most recently, at Bath over 5f and this looks like a decent opportunity to continue his winning sequence. George Boughey's charge makes his handicap bow and this opening mark of 82 appears workable. Fox Master should also be thereabouts after just being denied off this rating at Leicester last month, while Lingfield runner-up Fierce heads the remainder.

If PREMIERE BEAUTY comes on for last month's Haydock reappearance run she might be the way to go. Fierce will be a threat if in the same form as when second at Lingfield last week, while the William Buick-ridden Crow's Nest will likely be popular on the back of two novice wins this month.

The unexposed filly PREMIERE BEAUTY reappeared with a promising third at Haydock and is preferred to Fox Master

LTO Selection:

15:20 Newcastle Handicap (Class 2) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Lattam struck in the Irish Lincolnshire on his first start of the season and followed that effort up with a top-drawer second at Newbury, with the winner going on to lift the Royal Hunt Cup last week, so he is likely to be bang there off 2lb higher. However, SYMBOL OF LIGHT is unbeaten on the all-weather and was brought from Godolphin for 60,000gns at the Horses In Training Sale in October. If he retains his ability after 17 months off, he can pick up where he left off. Eilean Dubh and Empirestateofmind are also in contention.

LATTAM got back on the up when landing the Irish Lincolnshire on his return, doing very well to overcome trouble in-running, before finding only the subsequent Royal Hunt Cup winner Jimi Hendrix too strong at Newbury next time. He is taken to get the better of Eilean Dubh who produced his best effort of the year on his latest outing, with What's The Story completing the shortlist.

This can go to ALREHB whose record on the AW reads five wins and three seconds from nine attempts.

LTO Selection:

15:35 Nottingham Stakes (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

From Beyond has the ability to win a race of this nature but maybe vulnerable to a couple of improvers. Rogue Fox shaped with considerable promise on his sole start as a two-year-old and would be a big player if fully wound up in the first-time blinkers. However, preference is for TERWADA, who caught the eye when coming from further back than ideal at Thirsk last time and the booking of Oisin Murphy looks significant, so he is taken to make it third-time lucky.

TERWADA finished with running left having been denied a clear run at Thirsk 3 weeks ago and on that evidence, he has a bigger performance in him. Rogue Fox is fitted with blinkers on just his second start but he needs considering, along with From Beyond.

Several of these are closely matched on the figures but it might be worth siding with TERWADA. From Beyond is feared most.

LTO Selection:

15:45 Newmarket Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Spring Dawn has shown plenty of promise in both career starts on the Rowley Mile, occupying the runner-up berth twice, and she must be of interest if transferring that form to the July Course, but SATIRICAL is taken to get the better of her. The daughter of Kingman didn't really stay a mile at Newbury on her reappearance and is worth another chance dropping back to 7f. Glistened is out of Group 3 winner Spangled and warrants a market check on her racecourse bow.

Preference is for CROWNING, who made an encouraging return at Yarmouth earlier this month and remains open to improvement. Spring Dawn and Satirical look the likeliest dangers.

Having been denied a clear run when third at Yarmouth a fortnight ago, CROWNING is the pick ahead of Godolphin's Spring Dawn.

LTO Selection:

15:55 Newcastle Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Our Dickie failed to justify favouritism when filling the runner-up spot at Hamilton, but he shouldn't be dismissed as he steps back into a handicap. However, DISTINCTION has posted some solid efforts since returning to action in April, with the latest coming when he was beaten less than two lengths into fourth at Wolverhampton, and he ought to go very close off the same mark. Agonyclite is a C&D winner and should be respected.

RECLAIM VICTORY has been heading back in the right direction recently and wasn't seen to best effect when fourth at Chelmsford last month. This track is more to her liking (has won over C&D), so she's preferred to the in-form Our Dickie, with Red Command also on the shortlist.

C&D winner RECLAIM VICTORY (nap) shaped as though she would appreciate the return to 1m when a staying-on fourth over 7f last time.

LTO Selection:

16:10 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The obvious starting point is Nine Elms, who absolutely loves it around here and is only 4lb higher than when winning well over this C&D in April. However, he may have to play second fiddle to Mick Appleby's BIG NARSTIE, who was running consistently well on the all-weather when the yards horses weren't firing in the spring and is on an attractive mark racing now back on turf for the first time since joining his new connections. Hotspur Harry could go well at a bigger price dropping back in trip.

This C&D brings out the best in NINE ELMS and he can make his second start a winning one for Kevin Frost. Roman Dynasty is hard to win with but this represents a drop in class so he's feared, along with Kalahari Prince.

Makalu should have a good run in him but course specialist NINE ELMS has plenty going for him back at 1m.

URBAN SPRAWL was able to outrun odds of 50/1 to finish third in the Britannia at Royal Ascot last week and there is likely more to come from Charlie Johnston's colt off the same mark. The drop from a mile shouldn't bother him, especially given he scored over this trip at Goodwood, albeit off 5lb lower, last month. Chola Empire has been consistent this year and is feared most, while the class-dropping Final Watch completes the shortlist.

URBAN SPRAWL has been getting better this season and, having finished third in the Britannia off this mark last week, he should be well up to resuming winning ways if the race doesn't come too soon. Chola Empire is feared most ahead of Mitrosonfire.

16:30 Newcastle Handicap (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

DESERT GAMES appeared to appreciate the application of a first-time visor when a never-nearer second at Beverley and with the winner of that contest finishing a solid third off 6lb higher since, a 3lb rise for Richard Fahey's gelding looks more than fair. Thankuappreciate arrives in good heart after staying on to fill the runner-up spot over 6f at Windsor, although the drop to 5f may count against him so course winner Beelzebub is seen as a bigger threat.

DESERT GAMES upped his form a notch when second on handicap debut at Beverley earlier this month and remains low mileage. He is fancied to go one better here. Thankuappreciate and Beelzebub rate the principal dangers.

Cruise and DESERT GAMES are respected back on Tapeta, with marginal preference for the latter.

LTO Selection:

16:45 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

Breath Catcher should do better this season and is worth a market check on her return to action. There is a good chance this could be fought out by the previous C&D winners in Van Gerwen, Mehmo and HEY MR. Slight preference is for the latter, who has slowly been coming to the boil this season and is now lurking on a very handy mark. He has a good draw and as long as the gaps appear, he can pounce late to take the prize.

The booking of Oisin Murphy for MEHMO suggests he's likely to step up on his recent course comeback outing and he might prove the answer to this trappy low-grade sprint. Van Gerwen and Hot Scoop are others to consider, while the class-dropping Ernest Rutherford is one to keep an eye on in the betting.

The tentative vote goes to C&D winner MEHMO, who looks interesting back in trip on his second run after a break.

WILD SIDE has improved significantly this season, completing a hat-trick at Redcar last week, and George Boughey's filly is taken to extend her sequence, despite a 6lb penalty. Man Of Eden has been a beaten favourite on his last couple of starts, but the application of first-time blinkers is likely to aid his cause. Others worth considering are Gulmarg and Shigar.

WILD SIDE has been thriving this year, completing her hat-trick in good style at Redcar last week, and she can score again in her current form. Man of Eden has shaped well at Goodwood on his last 3 starts and could be the biggest threat with blinkers now applied, while Hafeet Alain is capable of getting involved as he drops in grade.

The progressive 3yo WILD SIDE (nap) made it 2-2 in handicaps with a ready win at Redcar and can defy a penalty to land the hat-trick.

LTO Selection:

17:05 Newcastle Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

HIGHFIELD VIKING wasn't quite at his best over 6f at Ripon last month, but John Quinn's charge should appreciate this return to 7f on Tapeta and he deserves another chance. Powerful Response was unable to justify strong support when down the field on his handicap debut at Wetherby in mid-May, but it's too soon to be writing him off and he's feared most, ahead of Run Cmc, who has first-time blinkers applied.

Without much obvious competition for pace, a chance is taken that RUN CMC will be able to get a positive position from his wide draw and build on the promise shown at Wetherby on his penultimate outing now fitted with blinkers. Highfield Viking can be given another chance to build on his return success at Doncaster, whilst Original Thinker can make a greater impact dropped back to 7f.

It may be worth taking a chance with ORIGINAL THINKER who ran with credit over C&D last month and is now 5lb lower.

LTO Selection:

17:12 Leicester Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GREAT TRUTH makes a huge amount of appeal on paper, being a son of Dubawi out of a Group 2-winning juvenile, and he may yet be another potentially exciting individual from the Godolphin operation. Phone Tag (third) and Paladin (fifth) both ran with credit behind a stable companion of the selection at Haydock and are entitled to progress on what they achieved. Short Circuit is likely to have benefited from his debut effort at Newbury and is open to a considerable amount of improvement.

SHORT CIRCUIT showed promise when sixth in what was likely a decent maiden at Newbury and the son of Frankel can put that experience to good use. Charlie Appleby has an excellent record with 2-y-o newcomers so his Dubawi-colt Great Truth is an obvious threat.

Charlie Appleby has won the past two renewals of this novice and GREAT TRUTH has to be of strong interest on his debut.

LTO Selection:

17:20 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Longuerue did well to win over 1m2f here last month and having only been nudged up 1lb for that success, he looks sure to be involved with this longer trip likely to suit. However, he may struggle to contain FRED BEAR, who comes here chasing a hat-trick having got up right on the line over 2m at Catterick last time. This track should suit him better and he could be hard to beat with his rider taking off a very handy 5lb. Capricorn Prince bounced back to form at Chelmsford last time and shouldn't be underestimated.

In a finale where a few have questions to answer the most solid option is the hat-trick seeking FRED BEAR. Longeurue made a winning start for the Robert Eddery stable over 1¼m here last month and could pose a threat if seeing out the longer trip. Similar comments apply to Rose Camira, while London Eye would enter the reckoning if the betting speaks in his favour on this first outing for John Butler.

Fred Bear should go well again but ROSE CAMIRA looked a staying type at Yarmouth and is on a lowly mark these days.

LTO Selection:

17:30 Newmarket Handicap (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CAPONE has improved with each run this season and arrives following a comfortable success at Chester. The son of Nathaniel was given a 5lb rise for that display and it would be no surprise to see him make it back-to-back victories. Social City returned to turf with a victory at Lingfield earlier in the month and commands respect, along with Byron Hill, who may improve for the application of first-time blinkers.

CAPONE has built a thoroughly positive profile since returning from another lengthy absence and a 5 lb rise in the weights shouldn't be enough to stop him following up his recent Chester success. Three Dragons remains unexposed as a stayer and is most feared ahead of last-time-out Lingfield winner Social City and last year's victor Dereham.

Having won in good style at Chester recently, CAPONE can defy a 5lb rise and follow up. Last year's winner Dereham is feared most.

LTO Selection:

17:45 Leicester Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

GEARING'S POINT returned to winning ways at Yarmouth on her latest start and the five-year-old commands plenty of respect off just a 2lb higher mark, especially in a contest of this nature. Blazer Two won over C&D on his penultimate outing and is likely to enter calculations, while others for the shortlist include Lailah, who was behind the selection at Yarmouth and may have more to offer up in trip, and Owens Lad.

BLAZER TWO has been successful on his last two visits to this track and he makes most appeal in an open race. In-form Gearing's Point is an obvious danger and Owens Lad, who was behind the selection last time, can't be dismissed.

James Fanshawe's LAILAH wasn't far behind second choice Gearing's Point at Yarmouth when the winner had the run of things.

LTO Selection:

18:00 Hamilton Handicap (Class 6) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SAMEEM won readily under Emily Roberts at Ripon last week and with a Listed course success under his belt as well, the New Approach gelding could successfully defy a 4lb penalty. There are certainly no stamina concerns for Two Auld Pals, who struck over 2m1f at Carlisle earlier this month, and he must enter calculations. Bouncing Bobby won here last time and has top amateur Alice Stevens aboard, while Great Colaci and Sir Joseph Swan add further spice to the race.

If SAMEEM can reproduce the form he showed when pulling clear in the closing stages at Ripon last week he might be able to follow up under a 4 lb penalty. Saint Lawrence's Wokingham win at the weekend is a fine example of how Archie Watson can improve new recruits and Sir Joseph Swan is feared most on his first start for the trainer. The consistent Tafsir may prove best of the remainder.

On his debut for Archie Watson, SIR JOSEPH SWAN is given the vote ahead of last week's easy Ripon winner Sameem.

ALL ABOUT ALICE disappointed on her yard debut for Dylan Cunha when down the field at Wolverhampton earlier in the month. However, the daughter of Excelebration is worth another chance and gets the vote in what could prove to be a decent opportunity. Trusty Scout is respected following his recent second at Kempton, while Angel On High has been given a chance by the handicapper having been dropped 3lb for his latest run at Lingfield.

TRUSTY SCOUT is capable from this sort of mark and he showed better signs when second at Kempton last time, so he gets the nod over All About Alice, who failed to justify market support on stable debut at Wolverhampton but remains one to be interested in. Long Call is also worth a mention.

It's hard to trust any of these but TRUSTY SCOUT is a dual winner who ran well last time out

The betting could be informative here, with Karl Burke's racecourse debutant Princess Alex and the 69-rated Bellarchi flying the flag for Nick Bradley Racing, but NINETY NINE may master both. Although slowly away and then carried left late on, there was a lot to like about Richard Fahey's filly's debut performance to take fourth at Wetherby and she seems sure to improve for that experience.

NINETY NINE shaped well on her Wetherby debut and is taken to improve past the more established Bellarchi. A market move for Karl Burke newcomer Princess Alex would also bring her firmly into the reckoning.

Having shaped well on her debut, NINETY NINE is taken to get off the mark. The newcomer Princess Alex is the other to consider.

18:45 Leicester Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Yoshimi made a pleasing return to turf when scoring by two lengths over this distance at Carlisle on his latest run, but that was arguably the result of a falling handicap mark and he could struggle after a 5lb rise. Therefore, it could pay to side with the unexposed KRACKING, who makes both his turf and handicap bow following a decent second at Kempton last month. An opening mark of 70 looks workable for Clive Cox's inmate, while Wetherby winner Shot Of Love is another to consider off 3lb higher.

YOSHIMI got back on the scoreboard at Carlisle earlier this month and remains feasibly treated on old form. He may be able to follow up. Kracking and Shot of Love are feared most.

Shot Of Love is respected but YOSHIMI looked in peak form when winning at Carlisle and he can add to his good course record.

LTO Selection:

19:00 Hamilton Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

RAJMEISTER had a couple of subsequent winners behind when scoring a shade comfortably at Redcar last month and a 6lb rise in the ratings might not be enough to anchor him if arriving in the same mood. Stay Smart arrives following a string of solid performances and he is likely to be in the shake-up once again, while Imperial Khan has a squeak with Laura Coughlan back on board.

Having scored at Beverley in May, IMPERIAL KHAN was undone by the draw at Thirsk last time, so he's well worth a chance to get back on track in a thin race. Last-time-out winner Rajmeister is an obvious player and Stay Smart can't be dismissed.

With the recent rain having been in his favour, RAJMEISTER can win his third race of the year with Stay Smart his main danger.

LTO Selection:

19:15 Leicester Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

FLORAL SPLENDOUR recorded a staying-on second over an extended 7f at Beverley on her most recent run and a marginally stiffer stamina test can see her make a return to the winner's enclosure. She has only gone up 1lb for the aforementioned outing and there is likely more to come from the four-year-old. Eponina made all over a similar trip at Nottingham earlier this month and is feared most off 3lb higher, while Dungar Glory adds further spice to the race under a 5lb penalty for her last-start success.

FLORAL SPLENDOUR returned to form from out of the blue when finishing runner-up at Beverley earlier this month and with the in-form Hollie Doyle taking over in the plate, Iain Jardine's 4-y-o can taste success for the first time since her debut last summer. Eponina took her winning efforts to double figures at Nottingham earlier this month and she's put forward as the main threat, with New Heights rounding off the shortlist.

Dungar Glory is respected but NEW HEIGHTS (nap) was perhaps in front too soon at Salisbury and she can go one better.

GODWINSON made a pleasing introduction when third over the extended mile at Nottingham and he appears to be the pick of this field. William Haggas' runner will know more for that debut experience after being slowly away, and he shaped as if this slight step up in trip will be a positive. Bosc Girl might pose the biggest danger after a consistent start to her career, and a win looks to be just around the corner. Newcomer Streetzoffilly heads the remainder.

This can go to GODWINSON, who should have learnt plenty from his recent encouraging Nottingham debut. Bosc Girl looks the obvious danger on form with newcomer Streetzoffilly best of the rest.

William Haggas's GODWINSON shaped well when a debut Nottingham third and with a fair bit of improvement on the cards is the one to beat

LTO Selection:

19:45 Leicester Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This could go the way of the progressive APACHE STAR who, despite having to shoulder top-weight here, lost little in defeat off 2lb lower when filling the runner-up spot at Nottingham earlier this month. Although the gelded son of No Nay Never has yet to score on turf, that was a step in the right direction. He is fancied to get the better of the reopposing Buddy's Beauty, who finished in front of the selection last time but is now 3lb worse off with her rival. Bungle Bay completes the shortlist.

BUDDY'S BEAUTY is on the up and displayed a good attitude to beat Apache Star at Nottingham a fortnight ago, so she's fancied to uphold the form with her old rival and go in again. Bungle Bay also merits plenty of respect in what looks like a reasonable race for the grade.

Quite open. MALHAM TARN COVE could benefit from this sharper test and he edges preference over Bungle Bay.

20:00 Hamilton Handicap (Class 3) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Despite just six runners heading to post, it is still a very difficult puzzle to solve, but the nod goes to ABATE. The Adrian Nicholls-trained seven-year-old was denied a hat-trick over 6f at York, but he still ran a fine race to finish third and the drop back to 5f could be ideal. Live In The Moment commands respect after a sound third over 6f at Windsor earlier in the week, while Jm Jungle should also be thereabouts.

ABATE has been in terrific form lately and shaped better than the result when third at York, so he gets the nod over Count d'Orsay, who is handicapped to win and shaped best at Thirsk last time. Good Luck Fox is another one to consider in what looks a competitive affair.

C&D scorer ABATE (nap) came home first in his group when an excellent third at York and can resume winning ways off the same mark.

LTO Selection:

20:15 Leicester Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Obama Army posted yet another runner-up effort at Hamilton last Wednesday and shouldn't mind the return to 1m2f in this contest, but a 2lb rise may prevent the Jack Channon-trained gelding from succeeding once more. I STILL HAVE FAITH returned to form when second at Haydock a fortnight ago and he makes most appeal racing off the same rating. The lightly-raced Alhambra Palace makes his handicap debut off what looks a workable mark and warrants consideration.

Preference is for KAMANIKA, who figures off a handy mark and had plenty of traffic problems when fifth at Haydock a fortnight ago. Alhambra Palace and I Still Have Faith head the list of dangers.

A few with chances but ALHAMBRA PALACE is ready for this longer trip and looks a likely improver on his handicap debut.

Ajyad shed her maiden tag at Bath at the third time of asking and has to be of interest now making her handicap bow, but she could be up against it because LOCHNAVER struck by four lengths, despite being eased down, over a furlong further here last week. The five-year-old escapes a penalty and can go in again off just a 2lb higher rating. Tiamat could improve for this step up in distance so she shouldn't be dismissed lightly.

Course specialist LOCHNAVER hasn't been harshly treated for her comfortable success here last week and can follow up. Ajyad is going the right way and is much respected.

The unexposed Bath maiden winner \AJYAD\p is taken to score on her handicap debut with the unpenalised Lochnaver her main danger.

Wee Fat Mac has been reliable on the all-weather since his last turf appearance, with the latest of his efforts coming when fourth at Southwell over 5f. However, GISELLES IZZY has been just as consistent and her turn has looked near for a while, so she is fancied to better her third-place finish over C&D last time to score. Sharrabang and Bonito Cavalo are others to consider.

The removal of cheekpieces looks a good move from connections of BONITO CAVALO and he's capable of opening his account from this modest mark. You can set your watch by Giselles Izzy at this level so she's of interest, along with Kats Bob.

Lots with chances but dual C&D scorer KATS BOB signalled he's ready to go in again when an encouraraging C&D 5th so gets the verdict.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK.
