LIVERPOOL KNIGHT appeared revitalised by a 150-day break when gaining a first success in this sphere over C&D earlier in the month, and a 7lb penalty may not be enough to prevent Olly Murphy's gelding from going in again. Just A Mystery posted a fair fifth on stable debut at Stratford recently and a similar level of performance should see the five-year-old involved here, along with Hedera Park.

LIVERPOOL KNIGHT opened his hurdles account in ready fashion over C&D 17 days ago and, with a return to less testing ground unlikely to inconvenience him, he's selected to defy a penalty. Star Legend has quite a bit of ground to make up with the selection but should get closer this time and rates the main threat.

Olly Murphy's LIVERPOOL KNIGHT delivered on last season's hurdling promise when winning pretty comfortably over C&D this month.

A close relation of the top-class two-year-old Pinatubo, PANAREA could be set to strike for a stable that can get one ready first time out. The daughter of Lope De Vega is narrowly preferred to Rawaasi, who shaped with plenty of promise when third on her debut at Kempton recently. Fellow debutant Apeeling and Pink Satin can also have a say in proceedings.

PANAREA makes plenty of appeal on paper being a close relative to connections' top-class 2-y-o Pinatubo and can make a winning start. Penalised-winner Pink Satin sets the standard under a penalty so is an obvious threat, while Rawaasi showed promise when third at Kempton.

This could be a decent novice and the eyes are naturally drawn to Pinatubo's close relative PANAREA. Pink Satin is second choice.

Mehmo justified favouritism at Beverley and is now asked to carry a 5lb penalty, which is negated by Joe Bradnam's claim, so he is likely to be bang there again. However, the one to side with could be FORESEEABLE FUTURE, who was just denied over 6f at Yarmouth and reappears before his revised rating kicks in, so is fancied to take full advantage. Manila Style warrants a market check on his handicap bow.

A decent race of its type, with several arriving in peak form. LATIN FIVE looks primed to strike for the first time in over a year after several promising recent efforts, travelling best when beaten by a better-placed rival at Beverley last time. Mehmo is effectively able to race from the same mark as when scoring on the same card as Latin Five last week and merits plenty of respect again, whilst Foreseeable Future was narrowly denied at Yarmouth on his previous outing and can't be ruled out.
Class & Speed Card

COLONEL LESLEY displayed a willing attitude when recording a quick-fire double at Stratford and Newton Abbot last season. The seven-year-old has since joined the Brian Barr yard and a hat-trick looks likely off only 3lb higher. Good Impression and George Mallory are other interesting contenders, with the former feared most on the basis that he's a two-time C&D winner and was in good form when last competing in this sphere.

Having won on the level in May, A SHINING MOON looked to have the race won back hurdling at Hexham, only to be collared late. That performance suggests he's up to landing a race such as this, with Theonlywayiswessex and Colonel Lesley, on return for a new yard, feared most.

Ben Haslam's LIGHTENING COMPANY was well beaten on his handicap hurdle debut but remains of strong interest if judged on Flat form.
Class & Speed Card

KING EAGLE has been a revelation since joining the Nicky Henderson stable and the hat-trick looks like a distinct possibility as he looks to follow up on his most recent success at Newmarket. The step up in trip is another plus and he may have too much for C&D winner Malakahna, who has been runner-up on her last two starts. Pledgeofallegiance could be one to bounce back after a disappointing effort at Haydock earlier in the month.

KING EAGLE is a handicapper going places for Nicky Henderson, and with 2m expected to draw out further improvement, the hat-trick looks firmly on the cards. Pledgeofallegiance flopped at Haydock but could hardly be in better hands to bounce back in a change of headgear, with Blazeon Five completing the shortlist.

This is most likely to be decided by further improvement from KING EAGLE (nap), who is 2-2 for Nicky Henderson and should stay 2m.
Class & Speed Card

NIGHTEYES has hit the crossbar the last twice but her latest effort at York, when denied by just under a length, was arguably her best and she sets a pretty high standard for a race of this type with a rating of 80. Darnation shaped well when third on debut at Haydock and, with normal improvement, she could have a say. Any market support for 60,000gns purchase Cloudy Skye should be noted.

NIGHTEYES sets a clear standard here and will take plenty of beating having bumped into a potentially smart rival at York last time. Darnation appeals as the type to step forward with her debut under her belt and merits plenty of respect alongside Carabella, with Cloudy Skye the most appealing of the newcomers.

David O'Meara's improving NIGHTEYES holds the edge on both form and experience and can go one better than her excellent York second.
Class & Speed Card

ROCK ON TOMMY arrives here off 1lb lower than last Wednesday's C&D success in a conditional jockeys' event, and the son of Fair Mix is hard to oppose in his current mood. Ten Past Midnight wasn't far behind in second on that occasion and could finish closer with Sean Bowen now taking over in the saddle. A bigger threat, however, could emerge from last-time-out winner Ambassador, who is only 6lb higher.

ROCK ON TOMMY escapes a penalty for last week's success in a conditional jockeys' event and can complete a quickfire C&D hat-trick. Ten Past Midnight chased home the selection last week and can fill the forecast spot again ahead of Ambassador, who has changed yards since his C&D win earlier in the month.

This can go to ROCK ON TOMMY, who has won over C&D in his last two starts and escapes a penalty for his comfortable success last week.
Class & Speed Card

MOBASHR has been running with plenty of credit since scoring at Doncaster earlier in the month and the booking of Ryan Moore catches the eye as he looks to notch up a fifth career victory. Narrowly denied over C&D last time out, Pearle D'or looks to be his main danger, along with Flying Secret, who arrives in excellent form with two wins from his last three starts. Others to note include Dashing Dick, Global Esteem and Snuggle.

Lots with chances but MOBASHR looked on top of his game when a strong-travelling third at Yarmouth last time so edges the vote with Ryan Moore also now in the saddle. In-form Pearle d'Or is another weighted to go well, with Grenham Bay, Flying Secret and Halla Dubai all in the mix too.

This looks tricky. GLOBAL ESTEEM should not be troubled if soft is in the going description.
Class & Speed Card

Doubletalk stepped forward to claim second on her handicap bow at Pontefract and she has been raised just 2lb, which should see her in contention once more. However, the vote goes to CHAT UP LINE, who did it nicely when scoring by a length at Nottingham and she could make it a double, even with a 6lb penalty to carry. Louella warrants a market check on her nursery debut.

CHAT UP LINE got off the mark in similar conditions at Nottingham last time and makes fair appeal in her follow-up bid. Doubletalk and Ninety Nine can also make their presence felt.

Hamilton winner NINETY NINE is capable of further improvement and is taken to beat Game Breaker, Woodleigh and Doubletalk.
Class & Speed Card

This could go the way of the hat-trick seeking MYSTIC MAN, who is yet to put a foot wrong since making the switch from hurdling to chasing in May. He has gone up 8lb following a facile win over this distance at Fakenham last month and shaped as though there would be more to come. He gets the vote ahead of Eightytwo Team, who has to shoulder a 7lb penalty following a two-length success at Southwell. Prince Cleni completes the shortlist.

Having confirmed he retains all of his ability on the back of a lengthy absence over hurdles in recent months, HE IS A CRACKER makes appeal from this sort of mark with his attentions now switched back to chasing and earns the vote. Mystic Man, who is 2-2 in this sphere, rates a lead threat, ahead of Prince Cleni.

Preference is for PRINCE CLENI, who needs to bounce back from a disappointing effort but began this season with two good runs.
Class & Speed Card

Gaassee finished a far from disgraced fourth at Haydock over this distance on his latest outing and must enter calculations if anywhere near that form. However, he does have to shoulder top-weight, so YOUTHFUL KING gets the vote. A comfortable winner over an extended 1m3f at Windsor earlier this month, a 7lb rise may not be enough to hold him back. Oneforthegutter's latest success was arguably the result of a falling handicap mark, but he still warrants respect off 4lb higher in first-time cheekpieces.

GAASSEE is one to be interested in now he's back in form and can give the weight away. Recent C&D scorer Oneforthegutter is unexposed over this trip and is feared most ahead of Andrew Balding's City Streak, who had an excuse when behind Youthful King at Windsor last time and had been in good form prior to that.

There is plenty of encouragement to be gained from GAASSEE's performance last time in the Old Newton Cup at Haydock.
Class & Speed Card

Dropping in trip and into a selling handicap can help for VONDELPARK, who struggled at Wetherby when last seen but has been gelded since. Gemma Tutty's charge is the only previous winner in the race and has gone quite well at this venue before. Camusdarach has the ability to figure at this level and, along with the lightly-weighted Lukla, can give the selection something to think about.

Hard to be bullish about anything in this contest, though VONDELPARK makes most appeal in the hope that his recent gelding op could help allay his free-going tendencies. Duke of Wybourne stopped the slide to some extent at Doncaster last time and is most feared, with Camusdarach a very tentative pick for third.
Class & Speed Card

A comfortable winner over an extended 3m at Southwell last month, BROOMFIELDS CAVE boasts leading claims if anywhere near that form, and Neil Mulholland's six-year-old looks the one to beat off 7lb higher. He has been steadily progressive of late and can get the better of Hungry Hill, who finished a creditable second off 3lb lower at Perth last time out. Classic Concorde is another to bear in mind.

A few with chances but it's hard to side against BROOMFIELDS CAVE who remains unexposed as a stayer and can defy a 7 lb rise in the weights after his emphatic win at Southwell. Hungry Hill is feared most on the back of his resurgent Perth second, with the consistent Lelantos well in the mix too.

6yo BROOMFIELDS CAVE (nap) justified favouritism in good style at Southwell and is open to more progress in staying handicaps.
Class & Speed Card

An open contest in which preference lies with SCINTILLANTE. A game winner over an extended 1m4f at Chester earlier this month, a 4lb rise for that success may not be enough to hold him back, especially as he receives a weight-for-age allowance here. Dashing Panther is rated 12lb lower than the selection but only carries 1lb less, so is likely to be chasing him home, along with last-time-out runner-up Flash Bardot.

WAY OF LIFE is entitled to come on for his recent encouraging Windsor return and gets the nod in a open-looking contest. Scintillante and Alhambra Palace are feared most.

Plenty could have their say. SCINTILLANTE's superiority at Chester last time was probably not reflected accurately by the bare result.
Class & Speed Card

It might be worth taking a chance on ANSWER ME NAY in this wide-open affair. After a tardy start, she warmed to her task on debut at Navan and while well-beaten, finished a never-nearer fifth. Out of Group 3 winner Dingle View, she should come on plenty for that debut effort, and with Wayne Hassett again claiming a valuable 7lb, a bold bid looks likely. Spicy Water is given second preference, dropping back in trip to 6f. She attempted to make all over seven at Limerick and was only headed inside the final furlong there, eventually finishing fourth, a place ahead of subsequent winner Lady Craftsman. Chandigah ran a huge race to finish second at the Curragh on Derby weekend and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to go a place better now. A case can be made for many others, with West Of Wichita likely to prove popular after filling the runner-up spot on her last two starts. A Lilac Rolla is the most interesting of the newcomers set to take part, with the Paddy Twomey-trained bay closely-related to plenty of winners.

CHANDIGAH was well positioned but still left his debut effort well behind when runner-up in a big-field Curragh maiden (6f) 4 weeks ago and a repeat of that form should see him tough to beat here. West of Wichita has knocked on the door herself in recent weeks and is feared along with Miss Black Jack. A Lilac Rolla is also one of the newcomers to note.
Class & Speed Card

LABALABA won a Ffos Las maiden with something in hand and keeping the son of Sioux Nation to novice company could be a good move at this stage. The Crisfords' colt was a well-supported favourite to build upon a pleasing Salisbury introduction and he can double up before he heads off into deeper waters. Last weekend's Doncaster scorer Snafiya is feared most, with Mushterek and Indivar also considered.

LABALABA landed the odds without too much fuss at Ffos Las and, with the promise of more to come, he can successfully defy a penalty. Snafiya also won last time and is a big threat for all she may not be totally straightforward. Wichahpi also makes some appeal on paper.
Class & Speed Card

FIRST REVOLUTION has a decent record when returning from a break, so from just 3lb higher than May's Hexham success he might be worth siding with. Casa Tall is a three-time winner over fences and looks best placed to chase the selection home sporting first-time blinkers and with Harry Cobden keeping the ride, while Designer Destiny may improve in the tongue-tie and is another worthy of consideration.

A badly cut-up field and FIRST REVOLUTION looks the most likely to take advantage, having been given a short break since his back-to-form win at Hexham. Casa Tall is the obvious danger.

The vote goes to FIRST REVOLUTION, who was a comfortable winner at Hexham last time and has just a 3lb rise.
Class & Speed Card

Only narrowly denied by Glamorous Breeze at Windsor last time out, WOOLHAMPTON could be the one to beat here. Rod Millman's filly takes on the winner from that contest once again, but she remains open to improvement and is fancied to reverse the form. Holy Fire has been knocking on the door of late and is another to consider on her turf debut.

CUBAN BREEZE often gives her running and was only denied by an improver at Newmarket a week ago, so she gets the marginal vote over Glamorous Breeze and Woolhampton, who fought out the finish at Windsor last time out.

Last year's 1-2 Cuban Breeze and Glamorous Breeze are both of interest but the unexposed HOLY FIRE is marginally preferred.
Class & Speed Card

TORIVEGA might be a bit flattered by his mark of 98, but should still be good enough to win this ordinary contest. Out of Group 2 winner Viztoria, he finished a fine sixth of 15 in the Lacken Stakes at Naas in May. Since tried in Listed and Group 3 contests at Deauville, he failed to trouble the judge, but back in maiden company now he is the one to beat. A 125,000-euro yearling purchase, Never Shout Never is given second preference. A half-brother to dual Listed winner Servalan, he was well-fancied on debut at Tipperary but ultimately disappointed. With that experience under his belt and upped in trip now to 6f, an improved performance can be expected. Darren Bunyan has strong claims in the opener with Chandigah and he again saddles a leading contender here in the shape of Wooden Head. He ran a fine race to finish fourth on debut over the course and distance in May and should come on plenty for that effort. Blue News, Double Jabbed and Greek Flower are others capable of making an impact.

TORIVEGA sets the bar pretty high for a maiden and should prove hard to beat. The fact Never Shout Never went off at 15/8 on his debut suggests he's thought capable of better than he showed on that occasion and he can leave that form behind and fill the forecast spot. Wooden Head showed promise on his C&D debut and may prove best of the rest.
Class & Speed Card

WOOBAY has been threatening to land a race of this nature of late and the return to 6f could prove a tonic that helps Phillip Makin's filly shed her maiden tag at the eighth time of asking. Happier also arrives on the back of two runner-up efforts and is feared most with first-time cheekpieces expected to aid her cause, while better is expected from the lightly-raced Destined, who was successful in her only previous outing on rain-softened going.

ISLE OF DREAMS is fancied to get back on the up returned to the scene of her last victory. Run This Way was well backed and would have finished closer with better luck at Pontefract last week and could come good again. Happier just failed at Hamilton and has a big shout back against her own sex in first-time headgear.
Class & Speed Card

TELE RED put a costly Newbury defeat behind him when successful at Haydock last week and as that came in an apprentices' race, he escapes a penalty, meaning he is able to compete off 5lb lower than his revised rating. He can take full advantage, although Golden Melody is also well-in following her Ripon second and heads a list of dangers that includes in-form pair Clear Angel and Strongbowe, who fought out a Carlisle finish.

TELE RED escapes a penalty for last week's win at Carlisle, so he's the percentage call to follow up, though there are plenty of interesting ones in opposition, including Hartswood, a previous C&D winner, who's still on a very handy mark on the pick of his form. Hat-trick seeker Clear Angel and Nikovo are others to consider.

Plenty of these can be expected to run well in a competitive opener. HARTSWOOD is back in good order off his reduced mark.
Class & Speed Card

GONE AWAY MADAM bolted up over course and distance on her racecourse bow and the daughter of Blue Bresil is hard to oppose under a penalty. Dontmesswithme shaped with promise when filling the runner-up spot at Newton Abbot 11 days ago and must enter calculations with improvement likely, along with Presently, who was well found in the market ahead of May's Bangor debut. Berg Nellie is also noted.

GONE AWAY MADAM was off the mark at the first attempt here last month and she's probably up to defying a penalty for all that Dontmesswithme and Presently are both open to improvement.

Presently ran a nice first race at Bangor but GONE AWAY MADAM should take some beating even with a penalty.
Class & Speed Card

MACS DILEMMA kept on determinedly to win over 7f here earlier this month, an effort for which he was subsequently raised 3lb in the handicap. Ryan Sexton negates that rise with his 3lb claim, though, and the five-year-old might have more to offer over this longer trip. Hastily struck the woodwork at Naas on her latest outing and must be respected, along with Last Hoorah, who remains well treated on the pick of last year's form.

HASTILY ran a screamer in a stronger handicap at Naas last month and the Irish raider has a good chance with a repeat of that. Shoot To Kill might be able to reverse recent course form with Macs Dilemma over this longer trip. Last Hoorah is also respected.

This can go to the lightly raced Irish challenger HASTILY (nap), who has run really well in both outings since returning last month.
Class & Speed Card

MY MATE ALFIE produced a creditable effort when third at the Curragh over 6f on his most recent outing. He kept on the one pace inside the final furlong that day, which suggests a stiffer stamina test will aid his cause, and he is taken to get the better of King Of Gosford, who sports a first-time tongue-tie and can step up on his Curragh debut. Starliner represents powerful connections and Battle Cry will likely show up better than he did at Navan.

MY MATE ALFIE possesses much the best form on offer so looks the way to go after two fairly useful placed efforts at the Curragh. Newcomer Starliner could emerge as the chief threat, especially if the market vibes are positive, with Battle Cry not ruled out either for his top yard.

Battle Cry should improve and Starliner won his Barrier Trial, but the standout contender is MY MATE ALFIE.
Class & Speed Card

LAUNCH is the highest rated runner in the line-up and should appreciate this drop in class. Highly tried since finishing second on debut over the course and distance in May, she has already picked up some valuable black type, finishing third in Group 3 company on her second start. Asean was behind the selection on debut but has been knocking on the door since. She went down by just a short head on her most recent start at Naas and another bold bid can be expected from her here, with Paddy Hartnett again claiming a valuable 7lb. Carnegie Hall is out of a daughter of Special Duty, winner of the Newmarket and French 1000 Guineas in 2010. The No Nay Never colt has two solid efforts to his name and is a leading contender off a mark of 76. Mary The Priest is the only previous winner in the field and also warrants respect.

CARNEGIE HALL looks interesting now making a quick switch to handicaps for the Aidan O'Brien team and is preferred to Asean, who stepped up on her previous efforts when narrowly denied in maiden company at Naas last time. Veracidad has qualified for her mark over 7f/1m but there's plenty of speed in her pedigree and she's another who could take a step forward now handicapping.
Class & Speed Card

QUEST FOR FUN (third) finished under two lengths behind Riot, with Cliffcake (fifth) on his latest outing at Doncaster and he is 3lb better off on this occasion, which could see him turn the tables on his rival. The son of Lope De Vega is now 4lb lower than his last winning mark, so he looks feasibly treated to go very close. Ascot Adventure has put in some solid displays of late and could have a say after his second at Musselburgh.

NO NAY NICKI signalled that she's back in form when runner-up here last time and, from a reduced mark, she's worth a chance to go one better at the possible expense of Riot, who scored with a bit in hand at Doncaster recently. The lightly-raced Doctor Khan Junior is another one to consider.

The filly NO NAY NICKI possesses some good C&D form and she is the selection ahead of the well-handicapped Challet.
Class & Speed Card

ACER finished behind a pair of subsequent winners when a good third at Windsor earlier this month and Clive Cox's filly could be a tough nut to crack if running to a similar level here. Haya Taal failed to build on a promising debut effort but he could improve for the addition of cheekpieces. Archie Watson is doubly represented by Ventura Empress and newcomer Propitious. With Hollie Doyle appearing to prefer the former, she could be the pick of the pair.

Despite still showing signs of greenness, ACER stepped up a good deal on her debut run when third in a 12-runner Windsor maiden 25 days ago and, with potential for better still, she gets the nod to come out on top. Ventura Empress and Haya Taal head up the dangers.

Tentatively and Acer are of some interest but dropping to 6f can see VENTURA EMPRESS take a step forward.

A 3lb drop in the ratings for PEERLESS' second-placed effort in an 18-runner affair at Fairyhouse looks potentially lenient and the five-year-old is fancied to record a first success of the season. Eruption appeared to pay the price for going for home too soon when a head second at Bellewstown earlier in the month and she may reverse form with the reopposing winner, Zig Zag Zyggy, now 2lb better off at the revised weights. Spirit Of Eagles and Conversant also look capable of winning at this level and are others to note in a competitive event.

SCARLET DANCER is a long time without a win but still looks the way to go on the back of her unlucky narrow reverse at Bellewstown last time. Eruption dead-heated with the selection that day and must enter calculations, with Sister Lola weighted to have a say too in a very open handicap.

It may be worth taking a chance on CONVERSANT who goes well fresh and should relish conditions
Class & Speed Card

CROCUS TIME boasts a consistent level of form having finished third on all three starts to date, including here over 7f at the start of the month. The daughter of Acclamation was then beaten less than a length at Windsor and is expected to put her experience to best use. Les Bleus is open to improvement stepping up a furlong in trip after her debut effort at Sandown, while Al Shabab is expected to come forward from his first start at Newbury, where he displayed plenty of inexperience.

AL SHABAB was held back by greenness when failing to meet expectations at Newbury 2 weeks ago and is worth another chance in what looks an ordinary maiden for the track. Crocus Time has the best form so needs considering, while Calyx-colt Habrdi makes the most appeal of the newcomers before market clues.

Crocus Time is respected on form, while AL SHABAB and Les Bleus are interesting with improvement on the cards.

A fiercely-competitive affair, with SO MAJESTIC the suggestion. The Kate McGivern-trained three-year-old is one of four chasing a hat-trick, with her recent wins coming at Down Royal and Naas respectively. She comfortably saw off 22 rivals at the County Kildare venue and while rated much higher now, she might still be ahead of the handicapper on a mark of 77. Successful over the course and distance last month, Running Cool is given second preference. He beat Curraheen Princess into third on that occasion and should be able to confirm the form now. Like the aforementioned trio, Dun Na Sead has also won her last two and is sure to have plenty of supporters, with Oisin McSweeney again taking a valuable 5lb off. A strong case can be made for many others, with Rockingham winner Harry's Hill, the Ken Condon trained-Gabriella's Spirit (first time cheekpieces) and the likeable Little Queenie, a few for the shortlist.

Another strong renewal of this good sprint handicap with 4 runners on hat-tricks and RUNNING COOL fancied to come out on top again after his cosy C&D success 6 weeks ago. Dun Na Sead is feared along with Mymomentintime.

The ground may help to bring the best out of SILMANIYA who has a fighting chance of reversing Curragh form with Harry's Hill
Class & Speed Card

A comfortable winner in maiden company on her debut earlier this month, BELLA WELLA could be worth siding with stepping up in class. She left the impression that there would be more to come on that occasion and she is taken to get the better of Polly The Rocket, who finished a fair third over 6f at Pontefract on her racecourse bow. Sailthisshipalone finished a staying-on fourth that day and cannot be ruled out either.

This could go to a newcomer and before market clues LOOSE CANNON gets the vote as he makes plenty of appeal on paper for a yard that enjoys plenty of success here. Apiarist is another expensive debutant to note, while Bella Wella is entitled to build on her Carlisle success and could shake things up.

The newcomers are interesting but OVERLOOKED hasn't been too far away in decent-looking novices of late and this does look easier.

STARRY EYES didn't look the easiest of rides when finishing a creditable fourth at Windsor 25 days ago, but Brett Johnson's mare has an excellent chance on these terms and she is fancied to strike dropped into classified company. Latent Heat is likely to figure following a series of consistent efforts, while the Johnny Murtagh-trained Kirikiriroa appeals most of the remainder.

STARRY EYES' slow starts are not ideal but it may not matter in a race this weak. Kirikiriroa and Latent Heat are feared most.

The vote goes to STARRY EYES who wasn't beaten far in a Windsor handicap this month and drops to this level for the first time.

TOMMY THUG showed improvement from his debut with a good second in a decent looking maiden at Leopardstown last week, and rates as a solid option on this quick return to action. The son of Churchill is likely to be a lot wiser and another step forward can bring about a breakthrough success. Rhodesia actually finished a place ahead of him at the Curragh on her reappearance and she is feared most. Nakassama and Golden Spangle complete the shortlist.

This can go to TOMMY THUG, who left his debut form behind when runner-up at Leopardstwon last week and remains with potential. Golden Spangle and Brave Thought rate the principal dangers.

Golden Spangle is solid but TOMMY THUG has had fewer chances and his Leopardstown effort was highly encouraging.

Guns And Flowers got off the mark on her first start for Alice Haynes at Chelmsford last month and she has to warrant plenty of respect on her nursery bow. Dan Dee Prince benefited from cheekpieces when filling the runner-up spot at Pontefract and is capable of another decent showing, but the vote goes to SHE IS A KEEPER. Second at Chepstow on her latest outing, Richard Hannon's filly makes plenty of appeal off what appears to be a workable mark.

A tightly-knit nursery with DAN DEE PRINCE just about the most appealing at the foot of the weights given he reacted really well to cheekpieces at Pontefract 17 days ago. Johnny Johnson, Kitty Bennet and Guns And Flowers are just a trio of potential threats.

A typically tricky nursery for the time of year. DAN DEE PRINCE is the suggestion, ahead of She Is A Keeper.

Paddy Twomey looks to have found a nice opportunity for VAIN GLORIA to follow up on her recent debut success. A 75,000-euro yearling purchase, she made the perfect start at Killarney, comfortably beating 13 rivals, with Letiza, who reopposes now and is better off at the weights, back in third. Pink Sorrel made the breakthrough on her fourth start at the Curragh and she is given second preference after that convincing success. Kayhana is the highest rated of those with a mark and is likely to have plenty of supporters. She was fifth of 11 in a Listed contest at Leopardstown on Champions Weekend but disappointed on her return at Killarney in May. Michigan State is the most interesting of the remainder. Long absent after winning on debut at Wolverhampton in November of 2021, he made his debut for Fozzy Stack on his return at Bellewstown earlier this month, finishing a solid third behind Party Central. Back in trip now to a mile, he should be able to make his presence felt.

VAIN GLORIA looked a useful prospect when scoring comfortably on her recent Killarney debut and can make it 2-2, perhaps at the main expense of fellow 3-y-o filly Pink Sorrel who got off the mark in maiden company at the Curragh on Irish Derby weekend. Dermot Weld's Kayhana may prove best of the rest.

The race in which Roundhay Park (winner), Little Muddy (second), Muscika (third) and Oso Rapido (fourth) competed in here 13 days is a strong reference point and each is considered with similar ground conditions forecast. The last-named of that quartet appeals most on the revised terms and could provide a bit of value in his attempt at turning the form around. However, LE BEAU GARCON has also shaped up nicely in recent efforts and returning to 6f could provide the key to unlocking further success.

Having added to his tally at Thirsk in April, COOPERATION confirmed he's still very much one to be interested in when doing best of those drawn high when fourth at Haydock (6f) in June and, most consistent for this yard and versatile as regards ground, he earns the vote to confirm his present mark well within reach. Oso Rapido, following his good second at Catterick 9 days ago, rates the lead threat under Oisin Murphy. Ramiro and Le Beau Garcon complete the shortlist.

Cooperation looks booked for another big run but SIR MAXI powered home dropped to 6f last week and he can follow up.

STRAITS OF MOYLE was not beaten far at all when third at Nottingham 10 days ago and Robert Cowell's gelding could be hard to beat off the same mark here. Amor De Mi Vida has also been running well in defeat of late and could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Kyber Crystal and Connie's Rose.

STRAITS OF MOYLE made a promising start for his new yard when runner-up at Nottingham and is taken to go one better now off an unchanged mark. Therehegoes and Kyber Crystal appeal as the duo to give Robert Cowell's new recruit most to do and can chase him home in that order.

Straits Of Moyle ran well on his stable debut but course regular CONNIE'S ROSE may be the answer.

EASTERN LEGEND was not beaten far when fifth off this mark over a mile at Leopardstown a couple of weeks ago and a reproduction of that level of form would give him a big chance here. The unexposed Hutton Glen has shown plenty of ability in maidens and could prove to be the main threat to the selection now switched to handicaps. That said, the likes of Boher Road, Alma Libre and Spy should not be underestimated.

BOHER ROAD upped his game when resuming winning ways at Navan earlier this month and remains feasibly treated. He may be able to follow up. Eastern Legend and Hutton Glen are feared most.

A 5lb rise looks fine for BOHER ROAD who made all earlier in the month and there's a chance he could get another uncontested lead

ETON COLLEGE gained his reward for a series of placed efforts when getting his head back in front at Nottingham last week and the manner of that victory suggested he could have even more to offer now stepping up in trip. Gordon Grey is an interesting contender on his handicap debut, while others for the shortlist include Al Hargah and Squeezebox.

LADY OF ARABIA paid the price for a big move into contention at Haydock 3 weeks ago, so is well worth another chance to resume her progress, especially with top rider James Doyle now taking over in the saddle. The step back up in trip is a slight question mark for Al Hargah but she's clearly going the right way now and has to be respected. Squeezebox still has potential and is another interesting runner on his first try at 10f.

Preference is for ETON COLLEGE, ahead of Squeezebox. Those two runners are both unexposed beyond 1m.

ANNO MANNA won with plenty in hand at Killarney and while many dangers are lurking here, she should be able to follow up. A half-sister to 98-rated stable companion Anno Syra, she went up 9lb for her recent success. However, that rise is now offset by Hugh Horgan's valuable 7lb claim. Lilac Lady, Lucky Question and Givemefive all finished ahead of the selection when second, third and fourth behind Slaney Tide at Naas earlier this month. Lucky Question and Givemefive both met with trouble in running and while there is likely to be little between the trio again here, the Johnny Murtagh-trained latter is taken to reverse the form. The progressive O Merisi is sure to have plenty of supporters, with this step up in trip likely to play to his strengths. Handicap debutant Lady Kai is an interesting contender, in the colours of Mick Kinane's wife Catherine. A half-sister to classy five-time winner Mikhail Glinka, she is surely better than what she has shown to date.

SO MESSI improved again when just failing at Killarney 10 days ago and looks ready to strike. Lilac Lady and Givemefive head the dangers.

Queen For You was only narrowly denied in Listed company over a mile here in May and followed that up with a respectable effort in the Coronation at Royal Ascot. The daughter of Kingman has to be respected but marginal preference is for ELECTRIC EYES. Karl Burke's filly created a big impression when chasing home subsequent Fillies' Mile winner Commissioning in the Rockfel last year. Her pedigree suggests that she may be better as a three-year-old and should relish this step up in trip. Others to consider are Midnight Mile, Golden Lyra and Long Ago.

SPARKS FLY has been a revelation in recent months and is taken to record her biggest success yet. Golden Lyra was well below her best on her Nottingham return but rates the biggest danger nonetheless, whilst the drop back in trip will suit Midnight Mile and she is also much respected.

The 3yo SPARKS FLY has landed a handicap six-timer and there can be optimism she will take this rise in grade in her stride.

MOONDIAL was a winner at Salisbury two starts ago and she followed that up with a respectable effort at Kempton last time. A reproduction of either of those efforts would give the daughter of Time Test a big chance in this moderate event. Phoenix Glow failed to fire when last seen but is a player based on her previous form, while similar comments apply to Coral Reef.

MOONDIAL is the only one who arrives in good form and is taken to resume winning ways at the possible expense of Coral Reef, who should benefit from the return of blinkers. Phoenix Glow is another one to consider.

Moondial ran the best race last time but she has a bit to prove on the ground, whereas CORAL REEF may appreciate getting her toe in.

Zola Sakura has been mixing it up in Listed company on her last three outings and she now has her sights lowered, so she should go well. However, the vote goes to GRADULATIONS, who was possibly unlucky to go down by half a length when second at the Curragh last month, as her jockey dropped the whip with a furlong to go, so she did well to finish where she did. She could make amends this time around off a 3lb higher mark, while Humtaza warrants a market check on her handicap bow.

WHITE CAVIAR had seemed on the up until finishing last at the Curragh so is worth siding with off a handy-looking mark to bounce back to form in style. Handicap-debutante Humtaza could emerge as the chief threat, with Gradulations also not taken lightly on the back of her good Curragh second.

It's worth forgiving WHITE CAVIAR's run on quicker ground last time and she had looked highly progressive prior to that

As a half-brother to Baaeed and Hukum, NAQEEB's reputation went before him on his Leicester debut and he was sent off a warm order. He had to settle for third there, but showed the benefit of the experience when going one place better at Newbury and there are good races to be won with him. Middle Earth has done nothing wrong in finishing second at Sandown and Kempton, and is the obvious danger. The fillies Marmara Sea and Rosa Chinensis are worth a look, as is expensive newcomer Highland Song.

The very well-bred NAQEEB is promising and should have more to offer up in distance so he's hard to get away from. Middle Earth found only a very good prospect from his own yard too good at Kempton and is the danger with the longer trip sure to suit him also. Highland Song is an interesting newcomer.

There should be another step forward from the impeccably bred NAQEEB. Middle Earth is feared most.

It might be worth taking a chance on BORN INVINCIBLE in this wide-open affair. The seven-year-old chestnut has a course win to her name and while she failed to make an impact on her most recent start at Killarney, she was a solid eighth of 23 on her penultimate outing at the Curragh. Now down to a mark of 44, the three-time winner should be able to make her presence felt here, with any ease in conditions likely to help her cause. My Girl Sioux is another towards the bottom of the handicap and coming from the in-form yard of Andy Slattery, she is given second preference. Fourth on her most recent starts at Bellewstown and Navan respectively, it'll come as no surprise if she manages to go a few places better now. A solid fifth of 23 on debut for Denis Hogan, Hot Whispers should give a good account of herself, while others for the shortlist are Californiagoldrush, Carlton Banks, Jazzy Dancer and last year's winner Samrogue.

JAZZY DANCER doesn't find winning easy but he's more reliable than most at this level and his third-place finish in a big-field contest at Naas a month ago is just about the most persuasvie piece of recent form. The money for Carlton Banks last time suggests he's considered to be well handicapped and he's a threat, along with Gobi Star, who got no luck at Fairyhouse.

SPIRIT DANCER was far from disgraced when finishing eighth from a wide draw in the John Smith's Cup over C&D recently and this appears a suitable opportunity for the Richard Fahey-trained gelding to notch a first success of the season. Box To Box arrives in good heart and appears the main threat despite the rise in class, while Brunch is dangerous to discount and can go well if seeing out this stiffer test.

SPIRIT DANCER should find this a bit easier than the John Smith's Cup a couple of weeks ago and can land this race for the second year running. Box To Box arrives on trhe back of some good efforts at Chester and is feared most ahead of Brunch, who is a potential class act but has stamina to prove.

C&D regular SPIRIT DANCER (nap) can win this for the second consecutive season. Brunch could be the chief threat.
Class & Speed Card

Savalas has to be respected having scored over 6f here in June and the veteran may improve for the step up in trip. That said, preference is for SAPPHIRE'S MOON, who bounced back to form when a head second off this mark over C&D last week and she is 2lb well in here. Dulcet Spirit edges out Revolutionary Man to be best of the rest.

SAPPHIRE'S MOON is a long time without a win but signalled she's ready to go in again when a very good C&D second last time out so can go one better now at the chief expense of course-winner Savalas and in-form duo Dulcet Spirit and Letter of The Law.

A chance is taken that THEWAYTOTHESTARS can build on a better effort last time and conditions won't faze her.
Class & Speed Card

NO MEMORY returns from a lengthy spell off the track, with her last appearance being in a Grade 3 hurdle at Punchestown, but her most recent Flat effort was a victory at Galway in October 2021 and conditions are likely to suit the daughter of Westerner. Blackstone Cliff performed with plenty of credit to finish third on his return at Navan and he is entitled to be in the mix. Herculaneum is capable of stepping forward after his placed effort at Tramore, while Pretty Soldier and Galactica complete the shortlist.

MERITORIOUS returns to the Flat on an appealing mark and he was last seen running well in a novice hurdle at Punchestown, so he could take the beating if tuned up for his first outing in 5 months. Blackstone Cliff is a danger on second outing for his current stable and Pretty Soldier is also of interest back on the level.

A step up in trip could suit COURT OF APPEAL who may have bounced last time and he's better judged on his return win two starts ago
Class & Speed Card

This can go the way of TERWADA, who could not have done it any easier when getting off the mark at Nottingham and he could be well treated off a mark of 90 on his handicap debut. The fact he is proven over further should come in handy against recent course winner Pastiche, who has yet to go beyond 7f. Oliver Show and The Gatekeeper have the form to get involved too.

Having displayed promise on each of his first 2 starts, TERWADA took a marked step forward and forged clear in the style of a very useful performer when landing a Nottingham novice 4 weeks ago. A good-bodied sort, he's very much the type to go on improving now handicapping and earns the vote. Pastiche is similarly progressive and feared upped to 1m. Signcastle City (gelded since last run) remains with potential to do better also back at 1m.

On the back of a wide-margin success at Nottingham, TERWADA (nap) could well defy an opening mark of 90. Pastiche is feared most.
Class & Speed Card

SHOEBOX KING could follow up on his Navan victory. That run was in a higher grade and the 6lb rise in the weights he received from the handicapper is more than offset by Conor Stone-Walsh's 7lb claim. There is one of these sprint handicaps in Catherine Chroi and she has been dropped 2lb to a very handy mark of 49, so a big run wouldn't be surprising. Racing Royalty kept on for third on handicap debut over 7f at Limerick last month which gives him a chance of making the breakthrough. James Ryan's 7lb claim certainly brings Teddy Boy into the equation after the veteran wasn't beaten far into fifth at Bellewstown while American In Paris was only caught close home in Naas, but cut in the ground wouldn't appeal to her.

CATHERINE CHROI has been shaping up well for a while now and is taken to gain deserved success. Shoebox King and Improving are a couple of potential threats.

Running well enough on ground a bit livelier than ideal lately, CATHERINE CHROI could get back on the scoresheet on this softer surface
Class & Speed Card

Kokomo is likely to be popular on her handicap debut and the first-time hood, along with a drop to the minimum distance, may bring out further improvement. The vote, though, goes to KNEBWORTH, who benefited from a change to more positive tactics when scoring at Haydock last week and he is taken to back that performance up, despite carrying a 6lb penalty. Honour Your Dreams, Betweenthesticks and Star Of Lady M are others likely to be in the mix.

HONOUR YOUR DREAMS impressed with how he travelled when scoring over the minimum trip at Hamilton last week and is taken to follow up. Knebworth and Kokomo rate the principal dangers in a competitive finale.

The visor has had a positive effect on HONOUR YOUR DREAMS and he is taken to defy a 6lb penalty for last Thursday's win at Hamilton.
Class & Speed Card

SYMPATHISE is 3lb higher than her most recent victory at Ffos Las, where she had a subsequent winner back in second, and she looks set to possibly bring up the four-timer. Kenstone is a live danger after his success here over a mile and he should have no issues with this trip, while Galileo Glass looks feasibly treated to have a say.

SYMPATHISE showed some wayward tendencies on her most recent outing, but her progress is hard to ignore and a 3 lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent the 4-timer. Bantry will prove a big threat if returning to his reappearance/stable debut form, while last-time-out winner Kenstone remains well treated on past exploits.

The vote goes to SYMPATHISE who remains unexposed after just seven starts and has been in irresistible form lately.
Class & Speed Card

With a few potential improvers lining up here, it might be worth taking a chance on MASTER DUNRAVEN. The gelded son of Mastercraftsman kept on to hit the frame over 1m4f at Roscommon last time out, suggesting he could fare even better over this longer trip and a bold bid is expected. Slaney Tide merits the utmost respect raised 7lb for her recent Naas success, while others to note include Bright N Shine, Siouxanne and Rauzan.

NOTTURNO was unlucky not to finish closer when fifth at Killarney 11 days ago and, if things drop right, he might be capable of opening his account. Slaney Tide is an obvious danger having improved to score at Naas last time and Rauzan merits respect in first-time headgear.

The tentative vote goes to NOTTURNO who should appreciate soft ground and he wasn't beaten far last week
Class & Speed Card

Kevin Stott seems to ride this track particularly well and his presence aboard KING OF THE DANCE could be crucial as Eve Johnson Houghton's four-year-old attempts to bounce back to the form that saw him make the frame at Newbury on his penultimate start. Lordsbridge Girl has been knocking on the door and might give him most to think about, although Split Elevens wasn't beaten far over a mile here last month.

LORDSBRIDGE GIRL is taken to gain reward for her recent consistency. Porfin arrives in form and should also be on the premises, while Where's Freddy failed to live up to market expectations on his handicap debut but perhaps a first-time tongue tie will help this unexposed 3-y-o to reveal his true ability.

With Overnight Oats absent, this could be the day that LORDSBRIDGE GIRL makes the breakthrough on turf.
Ths is the racecard key.
