There were 43 Races on Monday 4th August 2025 across 6 meetings. There was 8 races at Cork, 8 races at Naas, 8 races at Lingfield, 6 races at Ripon, 7 races at Windsor, 6 races at Carlisle, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

An easy winner of a bumper at Kilbeggan in April, KABYLIA looks the one to beat. Twice tried over flights, she has filled the runner-up spot on both occasions. Just a length behind the selection when they clashed at Sligo, Irish Music looks capable of making an impact, while Arctic Flame and Love At Sea are other leading hopes. Both have some solid form to their name, with the latter second at Ballinrobe on her most recent outing. The winner of a bumper on debut at Leopardstown in March, Moon Eclipse has been ultimately disappointing since and may come into her own in handicap company.

This looks a good opportunity for Gavin Cromwell's KABYLIA to get her head in front after promising efforts at Sligo and Kilbeggan
Class & Speed Card

BONUS TIME sets a decent standard in this with a mark of 92 and it looks like a nice opportunity for the Paddy Twomey-trained filly. She ran well on her handicap debut when runner-up to Sounds Like A Plan at Leopardstown and is open to further improvement on her fourth career outing. Zuheila looked like a smart prospect when making a winning debut at Navan. She quickened up well to chase down Washington Street and is expected to progress. Kodilicious and Letherfly have ratings that give them chances, but need to improve on their most recent efforts.

Having been edged out on stable debut for Paddy Twomey on her first start in handicap company, BONUS TIME should prove tough to beat.
Class & Speed Card

HACHIMAN was travelling well when badly hampered at Windsor on his belated seasonal debut. He would have finished a lot closer than third with a clear run and the son of Frankel could prove a more potent force on this occasion. Niyla Breeze returned a losing favourite at Wolverhampton on debut, but showed some ability to finish third, while Pulsar Star is out of a Listed winner in Germany and is a newcomer to note.

Pulsar Star is a very interesting newcomer but NIYLA BREEZE can come on for her debut and prove suited by the extra furlong.
Class & Speed Card

It might be worth siding with JAKE PETER in this open contest. Despite being the oldest runner in the line-up, he is two from two at Cork and although disappointing in recent starts, he has dropped back down to a workable mark of 110. Hasten Slowly finished ahead of the selection when they clashed at Ballinrobe last month so has to be feared. Back over flights for the first time since December 2023, Secret Rock is of definite interest at the bottom of the handicap, while Ballinrobe winner Dunkerque, the locally-trained Cappa Hill and Eoin McCarthy's Wholelotofbusiness are others for the shortlist.

Getting weight from his eight rivals, SECRET ROCK, who has run twice on the Flat this season, can score on his return to hurdling
Class & Speed Card

Right And Exact is hard to knock after winning his only start at Catterick by a head, but he will need to improve considerably to get the better of GOYARD. The latter improved for his debut second with an easy victory over 6f here, winning by nearly seven lengths, suggesting the drop in trip will not be an issue. Natural Force has been off for over two years but merits a market inspection.

The vote goes to GOYARD who romped 6l clear on soft ground here last month and is open to more progress on this drop in trip.
Class & Speed Card

SPARKLING SEA drops into handicap company and may prove the class act. The Ger Lyons-trained filly was too keen for her own good in a Listed race at this venue 12 days ago and weakened in the closing stages behind Sky Majesty. She had run a cracker at Navan previously when third to Whistlejacket and a repeat of that showing would make her hard to beat. Mint Man is a consistent sort who has been knocking on the door. He might prove the danger. Dual C&D winner Dandyville has slipped a bit in the ratings and may get closer now.

A chance is taken on GENESIS who has been shaping well over further for Alan McIntyre and starts for a new stable.
Class & Speed Card

THIS TIME MAYBE won at Wolverhampton in April and went agonisingly close back at the same track last time. Mark Usher's charge is just 1lb higher and it could be his turn once again. Smokey Malone has won a couple of times on the all-weather this year and returns to the Polytrack on a workable mark. Honrado finally opened his account when successful at Leicester and he could shape well again.

There was sufficient improvement from KNIGHT OF MAGIC last week to suggest he should be winning this. This Time Maybe is next best.
Class & Speed Card

Starting off in handicap company, HE WHO DARES and Milesfromthehonk are both of interest in this weak affair. Trained by Sam Curling and Gordon Elliott respectively, neither are likely to persist with horses devoid of ability. From the family of Millenary, the former has shown nothing to date but he is still only a four-year-old and, off an initial mark of 85, it will be disappointing if he fails to raise his game. Rated even lower, Milesfromthehonk is out of a three-time winner and is surely capable of improving on what she has shown to date. Vale Of Glory, She's On Line, Getaway Henry, Tasmanian Girl and Pampar Lady are the more obvious contenders in the line-up, with the latter second to a subsequent Galway winner on her latest start.

This is an ideal opportunity for PAMPAR LADY (nap) whose Roscommon second was well advertised by the winner Jerrari at Galway
Class & Speed Card

Although PEARL FORTUNE will need to be at her best to take this, she still looks the likeliest to come home in front. A five-length winner on her only start at Beverley, the Blue Point filly ran on well over 5f that day and could be a decent prospect. Rogue Temptation beat a previous winner at Haydock in July and warrants plenty of respect in receipt of 3lb from the selection, while Dandana is another to consider.

This is a tight call between the three penalised runners, but PEARL FORTUNE was impressive on her Beverley debut and she gets the vote.
Class & Speed Card

WHATSWRONGNOW hasn't been far away of late and is capable of landing a race off his current mark. The Cotai Glory gelding was staying on when fourth at Bellewstown on his last outing and looks worth a shot back up at 6f. Annie Lavinia ran well when chasing home American In Paris over C&D last month and a similar showing would make her a big player. Sunday Sovereign ran well over track and trip 12 days ago and is another for the shortlist.

Wide open. ANNIE LAVINIA has been expensive to follow but she continues to give the impression a win is around the corner.
Class & Speed Card

Vitalline has done all his winning over shorter and won a classified contest over 7f here last time. So Chic scored over 7f at Wolverhampton in March, but is another with something to prove over this distance so a chance is taken on ANTICIPATING. Alexandra Dunn's mare got her head in front over a mile at Chepstow before a Ffos Las third over 1m2f, and could make a bold bid if carrying that form over to the all-weather.

It might be worth siding with THUNDERING BREEZE, who still has potential and looks interesting on this step back up in trip.
Class & Speed Card

Reportedly in-foal to Mahler, ONEBRIGHTBLUEROSE has been a model of consistency. Second at Wexford a few runs ago, she was later disqualified and placed last after her rider weighed in light. Placed over fences at the Bettyville circuit on her most recent start, she reverts to the smaller obstacles and will be ably assisted by Andy Burke-Ott, who claims a valuable 7lb. A beaten favourite when last seen, it will be interesting to see if a first-time tongue-strap has the desired effect on Bannow Blaze. Bidding to follow up a recent course win, Small Bucks is sure to have plenty of supporters, while Kilbeggan winner Thats All is another leading hope.

It may be worth taking a risk with NAVY WAVES, who has won only once but has often run well in defeat
Class & Speed Card

TIVA struggled to make an impression in a better event at York when last seen but her previous second at Thirsk suggests that she could be hard to beat in a race of this nature. Profitable Edge has not been at her best of late but should not be written off returning to a C&D she has scored over before, while Back Before Dark completes the shortlist.

This looks tricky but TIVA gets the vote ahead of Radio Star and Cheerleader.
Class & Speed Card

FERRYBANK ran well when fourth off 1lb higher here 12 days ago and is capable of winning a race of this standard. He reportedly likes his own space in his races and it's interesting that connections try an eye shield on him. Are You In Or Out was a cosy winner at Fairyhouse in mid-June and it will be interesting to see how she fares after an 11lb hike for that performance. Rosato bounced back to form when winning over just shy of 6f here and has to come into calculations off just a 4lb higher mark.

Another wide-open handicap and one that should be run at a fast pace. GOLDSMITH rediscovered some form here 12 days ago.
Class & Speed Card

Star Of St Louis hasn't been seen since justifying favouritism in a classified event at Southwell in March of last year, but is worth a market check on his belated return to action. RETRACTION arrives on the back of a solid third at Wolverhampton, though, and this switch to Polytrack shouldn't prevent another bold showing. Ruth Carr's five-year-old gets the nod, with Semser the pick of the remainder.

Retraction is capable at this level but BEAUTIFUL DAWN could well bounce back now returned to Polytrack for her new yard.
Class & Speed Card

A weak affair with COSMOS D'AINAY the pick. An easy winner of a bumper at Sligo in May, he since failed to fire on his first start over flights. Easy to back on that occasion, Jack Kennedy later reported that his mount weakened turning in. Dropping in trip and with that initial hurdling experience under his belt, he looks the one to beat. The Man's Room is also dropping in trip after disappointing at Wexford. Second on his penultimate start at Limerick, a reproduction of that performance would see him go close. The Grey Poet also makes some appeal.

THE MAN'S ROOM gets the vote. His stamina was stretched over 2m5f on latest and he may be able to get his head in front dropped in trip
Class & Speed Card

Having found only a progressive rival too strong over C&D in June, compensation could be on the cards for FIRST FOLIO. A 2lb rise for Julie Camacho's charge looks workable and a fifth career victory may beckon. Kodiac Thriller has posted a string of creditable efforts in defeat since scoring at Thirsk in May and is feared most, ahead of handicap-debutant Mandurah.

The vote goes to course specialist FORTAMOUR who won this race on heavy in 2021 and on good ground in 2024.
Class & Speed Card

NIGHT MAGIC looks capable of improving on her second handicap outing. The Too Darn Hot filly met some trouble in running when third to Highbury See See at Gowran Park in mid-June. She is tried in cheekpieces now and should be up to winning a race off a mark of 65. Lady Pagasa ran well on her return when third at Killarney last month and may benefit for dropping back slightly in trip. Star Mind didn't appear to get home over a mile and a half at Tramore, but was runner-up over this sort of trip at Roscommon previously and is a contender on that form.

The 3yo SEND HARRY could be interesting now upped to 7f. He's made a good start in handicaps and got no luck here last time.
Class & Speed Card

Having found only a smart-looking debutant too strong at Leopardstown recently, TEEWINOT is sure to prove a warm order pitched into these calmer waters. The Joseph O'Brien-trained filly is difficult to oppose and appears poised to open her account. The others with previous experience haven't pulled up any trees, so the biggest threat may emerge from the newcomers. Zabeel Flower boasts enough quality in her pedigree to top that bill, ahead of Miss Lady Grace.

It would be a shock to see TEEWINOT turned over. She sets a good standard on her recent clear second at Leopardstown.
Class & Speed Card

A disappointing turnout, with Declan Queally saddling two of the three declared. Fresh from his big race win at Galway, Alan O'Sullivan partners MOZZIES SISTER, with this talented six-year-old appearing nicely treated by the conditions of the race. Third in Grade 1 company at the Dublin Racing Festival in February, she seems versatile in regards ground and trip. Sidestepping Galway, Smooth Tom is the danger. The winner of a similar contest here in April, he should appreciate this return to calmer waters after finishing down the field in a Grade 3 at Tipperary on his latest start. The Big Doyen, who has four wins to his name, failed to make an impact on his debut for Queally at Wexford in May and is best watched now

\Smooth Tom\p is talented but he has to concede a big chunk of weight to MOZZIES SISTER and that might swing the balance in her favour
Class & Speed Card

Poet's Dawn dead-heated for first at Beverley six days ago and warrants respect on his follow-up bid. However, a 4lb penalty demands more from the veteran, which could leave the door open for DAWN OF LIBERATION. Ruth Carr's gelding arrives on the back of a close second at Pontefract and he makes plenty of appeal off an unchanged mark. The consistent Spioradalta can make his presence felt too.

Top of the list is SPIORADALTA (nap), who is only 2lb higher than for his C&D win in May and was a good third at Ayr last time.
Class & Speed Card

THEREWILLBEGLORY ran a cracker on her debut at the Curragh and can go one better with that experience under her belt. The Cotai Glory filly came to lead over a furlong from home before getting pipped late on by Shelbiana. Her rider reported that she hung left throughout so going left-handed may help. Guarded sets the standard with a mark of 79, but she is pretty exposed at this stage and may be vulnerable to an improver. The 77-rated Noli Timere is another with solid placed form who has to be on the shortlist.

Guarded should be in the thick of it once more but she might do well to confirm Gowran placings with the less exposed KATASHUNA.
Class & Speed Card

A determined winner over C&D when seeing off Roman Spring by a head, MARY OF MODENA could have more improvement forthcoming and she can uphold the form, despite being 1lb worse off at the weights. Hint Of Humour has run with credit on most of her starts this year and she is a player along with Brunel Charm, who wasn't beaten far into third over track and trip.

An unlucky loser in this race last year off a 5lb higher mark, BIG BARD (nap) makes most appeal ahead of Roman Spring.
Class & Speed Card

Starting off in handicap company, SEEITOLDYA is of definite interest. The winner of a four-year-old maiden point-to-point in March, he has failed to make a significant impact since switching to the track. Now racing off an initial mark of 107, he could prove nicely treated. Yet to win over flights, Derek O'Connor is an interesting jockey booking on Young Lucy. Smiling Bess warrants the utmost respect too.

RHYTHMIC TUNE has shown enough the last twice to suggest he can win a race and he should relish this step up in trip
Class & Speed Card

GROUNDHOG has been knocking on the door in recent months and perseverance may pay dividends. A 2lb rise for his latest second over C&D could prove lenient and a breakthrough victory could be on the cards. Shielas Well continued her good run of form with a respectable third at Thirsk last month and is a feasible alternative, along with the down-in-class Precious Spartan.

Preference is for C&D winner PERFIDIA who looks interesting on this step back up in trip and probably won't mind what the weather does.
Class & Speed Card

GREEN SENSE, winner of the Prix Robert Papin at Chantilly last month, looks the one they all have to beat. The daughter of Starman prevailed by a neck in the Group 2 contest in France and her form is obviously very strong. She has the most weight of any filly in this, but her class can see her through. There is a good English representation and Front Line Fury, narrowly defeated when bidding for a hat-trick at Ascot last month, looks like a leading contender. Colin Keane sides with Howd'yadoit from the three Ger Lyons runners and he's another who is respected.

Slight preference is for JEL Pepper over Green Sense with the pair setting a very clear standard.
Class & Speed Card

DAISY ROOTS wasn't disgraced when fourth at Epsom last time out, but she is much better judged on her previous success over C&D and a mark of 69 still looks manageable for the the daughter of Footstepsinthesand. Hilltop returned from a year on the sidelines with a narrow defeat at Chelmsford and must enter calculations. Dark Sun and Blue Collar Lad, who scored here in June, enter the equation as well.

This can go to KING CABO who is 3lb lower than when winning this race under Jack Dace last year.
Class & Speed Card

Declan Queally saddles two here and has opted to partner KASHCHEI over point-to-point winner St Lawrence's Well. The subject of good market support when sixth in what was probably a stronger contest at Galway on Thursday, the Telescope bay has race fitness and experience on his side. Beaten by just half a length at Downpatrick on her latest start, Walks The Talk is the second choice. Getting a mares' allowance and with Finn Buckley claiming 7lb, it'll be disappointing if she's not involved.

Well clear of the remainder when second to a Willie Mullins-trained favourite at Downpatrick, WALKS THE TALK can go one place better
Class & Speed Card

LIFE IS ROSIE and Calibos both have a penalty to carry for winning at last week's fixture here. Although the latter has been consistent and is still open to improvement over 1m2f, Life Is Rosie is more proven at this sort of level and could be better equipped to cope with the mandatory weight imposition. Sir William steps back down in distance and, having been cut some slack by the handicapper, rates a player on these terms.

This should be run at a good pace with three of these having raced prominently of late. That should suit SIR WILLIAM now back at 1m2f.
Class & Speed Card

LETIZA may be able to follow up her win at Down Royal in June. The Holy Roman Emperor mare finished off strongly to chase down Dancing Steve when a well-backed favourite. The runner-up has won since and a 6lb rise doesn't look harsh. Zipster also comes here in winning form, having scored at Killarney last month. He got 5lb for that victory and should be competitive again. Molto Amichi has been knocking on the door and ran into an improver in Onemoredance at Leopardstown last time. He could be place material.

This step up in trip could elicit further improvement from ZIPSTER (nap) who flew home to win cosily over a mile at Killarney last time

NO SPRITZ NO PARTY improved from her Kempton debut to get off the mark at the second attempt with a tenacious effort at Pontefract in June. Although a surprise winner on the day, that was a professional display and the form carries substance as the fourth has won since. Angel Of Anfield and Astrazar are feared most of those with experience, while Here Forever is an interesting newcomer to monitor in the betting.

Provided this race pans out better than last time, ASTRAZAR could well get off the mark. Angel Of Anfield is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

DETECTIVE has six course victories, three off higher marks, and could go well again if he takes to a first-time visor with Rhys Elliott good value for his 3lb claim. Hostelry arrives in good form after being beaten half a length at Hamilton and then Chepstow, but an added 2lb may see her settling for a place once again, while Sanditon could also go well on his handicap debut.

A chance is taken on the unexposed TAKTEEK, who is having his second run in a handicap but his first at 1m on his debut for James Owen.
Class & Speed Card

WESTEND MUSIC sets a decent standard and appeals most after finishing a very close second at Catterick. This could provide the daughter of Showcasing with a nice fillip before she goes on to tackle handicaps. Given that Too Hot To Love, Flybar and Creciente all need to improve on what they have shown so far, Rogue Messiah won't need to be anything special to make an impact on his racecourse bow.

Thrice-raced WESTEND MUSIC is the form pick. Market support for interesting newcomer Rogue Messiah should be heeded.
Class & Speed Card

Homestrait will have her supporters after winning by a length at Doncaster following a run of seconds, but giving 5lb to DUNKELD DREAMER looks a big ask. Sent off favourite at Beverley last time, she won by two lengths despite being hampered and although upped 7lb for that, she may have more improvement to come. Rawalpindi Express wears first-time cheekpieces for his nursery debut and is worth a market watch.

Having run creditably on all five starts, HOMESTRAIT (nap) can follow up his Doncaster maiden win by scoring from Dunkeld Dreamer.
Class & Speed Card

WOODY Y FERNANDEZ ran a career best when beaten just a length into third on his nursery debut at Catterick and this appeals as a decent opportunity. Runner-up on each of her last two starts over shorter, Redditizio is worth another go at 6f and she is a key player. Squadron Leader has been gelded since his last appearance and has cheekpieces fitted for his handicap bow.

The way he's going, WOODY Y FERNANDEZ may well take another step forward and open his account. Redditizio is feared most on form.
Class & Speed Card

DAYDREAMA won with authority despite coming from off the pace at Pontefract on his second start and if he continues on an upward curve, the Dream Ahead colt may be good enough to give weight away to these rivals. Mystical Land looks an interesting newcomer with plenty of speed in his pedigree and he may get the better Watchdog for second.

This doesn't look the strongest of novice events and the penalised DAYDREAMA is taken to follow up his Pontefract win.
Class & Speed Card

Runner-up the last twice over further, including here on her penultimate outing, AOIFE'S THUNDER sets the standard on recent form and she can get off the mark. Kessaar Power has strong claims if bouncing back to the level that carried him into second at Chelmsford in June, while Platinum Babe has the potential to be suited by going up in trip after a respectable fourth over 1m at Leicester.

There are clear signs that AOIFE'S THUNDER (nap) is on her way to recording a first success. The Pug is second pick.
Class & Speed Card

Vibrant Pearl would have a big chance if recapturing the form of her first two starts. However, she was a very disappointing 11/10 favourite at Catterick most recently and has something to prove. As does the well-bred Secret Sonata, who appeals on paper but needs a big step forward from her Nottingham debut. With that in mind, PORTSOKEN looks the way to go, with improvement likely switching to turf after two encouraging efforts on Tapeta at Southwell and Newcastle.

This looks a good opportunity for VIBRANT PEARL to open her account. Portsoken looks to be the main danger.
Class & Speed Card

FIRST PRINCIPLE will likely start a warm order, despite carrying a penalty for last year's debut success at Kempton, having returned to action with a Thirsk second. This looks a less competitive affair and William Haggas' colt can take advantage before moving on to better things. Ettore parted company with his rider when bumped at Pontefract but could prove the main danger, while winning hurdler Zucayan makes a belated debut on the level.

Clear form pick FIRST PRINCIPLE looks set to atone for an odds-on reappearance defeat. Ettore is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

BRAVE EMERALD came good with a dogged effort to win at Catterick last month and could be progressive enough to cope with a 5lb rise if the likely quicker ground doesn't cause issues. The well-handicapped We Still Believe seems versatile regarding the underfoot conditions and could be the biggest danger to the selection after a good second at Ayr three weeks ago. Run Of Luck and Jaminoz are other attractive propositions based on recent form.

An open-looking handicap and preference is for BRAVE EMERALD who got off the mark last time. The main danger is Run Of Luck.
Class & Speed Card

It could pay to stick with MUY MUY LOCO, with Simon Dow's inmate arriving on the back of a close second over 7f on the Lingfield Polytrack. Not beaten far when placed over this trip at Brighton before that, he looks set to open his account. Prima Diva got her head in front for the first time when successful over C&D and a 3lb rise may not prevent another bold bid. On A Vespa steps up in distance with a shout.

The verdict comprises ON A VESPA and Prima Diva who give Jonathan Portman a strong hand.
Class & Speed Card

Falcon Nine appeals after placed efforts at Musselburgh and Newcastle but he is still a maiden after 25 attempts and his limitations are evident. With that in mind, it could pay to focus more attention on IRV, who has proven to be effective on a stiff track such as this and he has solid credentials off 7lb lower than his last winning mark. Shahnaz is the pick of the rest.

This can go to SHAHNAZ, who ran well on her first three starts this season and was unsuited by the drop to 7f when below par last time.
Ths is the racecard key.
