LTO Selection:

14:10 Nottingham Stakes (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

GREY CUBAN made a very pleasing racecourse debut when second over 6f at Newmarket and this looks like a nice opportunity of going one better today. Hugo Palmer's charge was guilty of racing a bit greenly when it mattered on that occasion and he's likely to know more following that experience. Cheeky Blimey is feared most after being just touched off over 6f at Newmarket last time, while Angel Of England isn't ruled out of converting her neck second over 6f at Thirsk into a better result today.

GREY CUBAN fared best of the newcomers when runner-up at Newmarket and can go one better with improvement on the cards. Cheeky Blimey stepped up on debut when a close second at the same course and rates the main threat ahead of Angel of England, who only just failed at Thirsk.

Bulmer Bank caught the eye despite doing everything wrong on debut, but GREY CUBAN sets the standard on his opening Newmarket run.

8.5/1(-31%)
(6) Dartman 8.5/1, Consistent maiden again ran creditably when fourth of 16 in handicap at York (7f, good) 12 days ago. Still looks somewhatin the grip of the handicapper but should give another good account.
Has been consistent rather than progressive so far and he needs to raise his game.
LTO Selection:

14:25 Brighton Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A 4lb rise for Bonkersinabundance's C&D triumph last month looks more than fair given that the third won next time out, and Roger Varian's filly will likely prove popular. LITTLE BOY BLUE, however, may offer slightly more value. The eight-year-old hasn't finished outside of the first three home in seven appearances at this venue and another bold bid is anticipated. Matty Too also enters calculations on a hat-trick.

MATTY TOO should prove capable of completing the hat-trick after winning at Yarmouth and Chepstow in June, a 5 lb rise unlikely to prove overfacing to Ed Dunlop's upwardly-mobile gelding. Little Boy Blue has a good record over C&D and is most feared, with last-time-out winner Bonkersinabundance and Golden Passport also worth considering.

An open race in which four-time course winner LITTLE BOY BLUE gets the vote ahead of Ed Dunlop's hat-trick seeker Matty Too.

LTO Selection:

14:40 Nottingham Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Plenty of connections will be arriving here hopeful of their runner claiming this prize and the tentative selection is BELLE FOURCHE. David O'Meara's charge was a good third over 6f at Wolverhampton last time, where she was beaten just three-quarters of a length, and, off the same mark today, she can go close once again. Sassy Belle should also be thereabouts after being handed a chance by the handicapper and is now 2lb lower than her third over 6f at Windsor on her penultimate start, while Little Muddy should also be taken seriously.

SASSY BELLE is still lightly raced and there's a good chance that cheekpieces could extract the improvement required for her to get back to winning ways. Belle Fourche also has few miles on the clock and is considered a danger, while As If By Chance can get involved if they go a solid gallop.

A trappy sprint handicap can go to SASSY BELLE, who'll appreciate the return to slow ground. Belle Fourche is second choice.

Has a more solid record on AW but has turf form and she's respected dropped in class.
LTO Selection:

14:50 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

FIRST COMPANY kept on for fourth over an extended 5f at Bath last time out and a fractionally stiffer stamina test could work in his favour. He is rated 1lb higher, but Joe Leavy takes 7lb off his back and the five-year-old must enter calculations here. Ideal Guest is feared most following a decent third over 7f here earlier this month, while Kodias Sangarius heads the remainder.

The vote in this trappy-looking contest goes to KODIAS SANGARIUS, who is eased into 0-65 company for the first time and a reproduction of her seasonal reappearance near-miss at Kempton would probably suffice. Masterclass is also dropping in class and is feared most ahead of First Company and Ideal Guest.

Kodias Sangarius is feared down in grade but IDEAL GUEST is selected to make all now dropped back to a sprint trip.

Plenty to like on paper and she needs a close look on debut..
LTO Selection:

15:00 Brighton Maiden (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LOADED QUIVER lost little in defeat when headed late on in a deeper contest at Yarmouth last Tuesday and a similar level of performance is likely to prove good enough. Drink Dry exhibited signs of greenness when finishing third at Epsom last month and may emerge as the chief threat, ahead of Miguel, who recently offered plenty of encouragement with a debut second at Chepstow.

LOADED QUIVER has found only one too good on both of his starts so far, still green when narrowly denied at Yarmouth 9 days ago, so he looks ready to get off the mark with further progress to come. Miguel showed plenty of ability on debut and is feared most upped in trip, ahead of Al Shabab.

This can go to LOADED QUIVER who has finished second in both his runs and sets a clear standard on his near miss at Yarmouth last week.

DUNES KING showed a willing attitude to get off the mark at the first time of asking over 1m2f at Windsor and this looks to be a good opportunity to follow up that success. That form was boosted by the second coming out and scoring in facile fashion over that same C&D on Monday, so Harry and Roger Charlton's charge appears primed for another bold bid today. Syllabus also commands respect based on his third over 1m2f at Windsor, while Arctic Mountain also deserves a closer look.

DUNES KING made a successful start at the expense of a subsequent winner at Windsor recently and, with more to come, he takes preference over Shadow of War. Arctic Mountain, who was popular in the betting first time up, is also worthy of consideration.

Having come right away with the favourite on debut, DUNES KING is taken to defy a penalty. Shadow Of War is second choice.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

KARAT KARAT made a promising start to her racing career when finishing a fair fourth over this trip at Newbury last month. Faced with much lesser opposition here, the daughter of Australia is fancied to progress given she is a half-sister to Group 3 winner Al Aasy. Newcomer Franberri is related to a few smart types and should not be underestimated, while fellow debutant Torchlight completes the shortlist.

It was a pretty useful novice event in which KARAT KARAT was a promising fourth on her introduction at Newbury last month and, with the improvement on the cards here, she will take plenty of stopping. There is much to like about Torchlight on paper and she could emerge as the main danger ahead of Corymbosa and fellow newcomers Franberri and Karriewhitchit.

There was significant promise in the debut run of KARAT KARAT at Newbury and she can put that experience to good use.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

YOUNG WINSTON was somewhat unlucky when denied a clear run in a similar contest at Bath last month and compensation could await the four-year-old if seeing out this extra distance. Asense finished a respectable third of 15 at Windsor in June and Gary Moore's filly is feared most. No Diggity was unable to sustain his effort in handicap company at Lingfield on stable debut last Monday, but also enters calculations now switched to this sphere.

A low-grade contest, in which YOUNG WINSTON makes most appeal on the back of a more encouraging stable debut at Bath last time. Asense arrives here on the back of a creditable effort at Windsor and can pose the biggest threat, whilst 3-time C&D winner Temur Khan and the stable-switching Mi Sueno can complete the frame.

The vote goes to YOUNG WINSTON, who didn't get much luck when runner-up on his stable debut at Bath last month.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

WARREN HILL appeared to relish a step up to 10 furlongs when filling the runner-up spot over track and trip last month. That form has worked out well, with the winner going on to follow up, so Roger Varian's filly looks to have an excellent chance from just 1lb higher. Frankel filly Gentle Light is entitled to take a step forward on her handicap debut, as is Mountain Lake, who sports a first-time visor.

WARREN HILL upped her game when runner-up over C&D last time and, in good hands, she should be able to take another step forward and open her account. Moonlit Cloud was in too competitive a race last time, so she's expected to bounce back, and Mountain Lake looks the pick of the handicap debutantes.

Arguably unlucky not to have beaten a subsequent winner over C&D last time, WARREN HILL gets the nod. Mountain Lake is next best.

Handel kept on to score by three-quarters of a length over a mile at this track last month, but a 5lb raised mark will make life more difficult. Therefore, the vote goes to AFLOAT, who bolted up over C&D earlier this month. She does have to shoulder a 6lb penalty for that success, but the nature of that victory suggests she has much more to offer. Fellow last-time-out winner Khangai is another to consider.

The form of the Leicester handicap in which EXPERT WITNESS was a close third is working out well and, with the promise of better to come from Sir Mark Todd's representative over this trip, she earns the vote. Afloat is an obvious threat on the back of her easy C&D success last week, while fellow last-time-out scorer Khangai is also shortlisted. Kemerton isn't one to give up on just yet and he could also have a part to play.

Rae Guest's filly AFLOAT displayed a significant jolt of improvement to win over C&D nine days ago and is 2lb ahead of the handicapper.

16:00 Brighton Handicap (Class 4) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Premiere Ligne finished a creditable second over a similar distance at Lingfield in June and a reproduction of that effort can see him firmly in the picture. However, he does have to shoulder top-weight, so AL AZHAR gets the vote. A comfortable winner over 1m6f at Wolverhampton last month, a 3lb raised mark looks unlikely to hold him back especially when considering his second-placed effort over C&D in May. Party Island completes the shortlist.

AL AZHAR bounced back to his best when winning at Wolverhampton last time and he can score again in his current form. The 4-y-o is taken to see off the challenge of Premiere Ligne, who matched the pick of his French form when runner-up at Lingfield on his latest outing, while Night Eagle can also give another good account.

The recent Wolverhampton scorer AL AZHAR is firmly on the upgrade, so receives the vote over the thoroughly likeable Alumnus.

LTO Selection:

16:10 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MASCANI justified strong market support when winning at Beverley last month and the unexposed son of Mastercraftsman is fancied to repeat the dose from a 3lb raised mark. First-time blinkers could elicit further improvement from Zaakara, who continues to run well in defeat. Nannie Dee appeals as a likely improver now upped in trip, while Sanction is just one more to consider.

MASCANI looked well suited by the step up in trip when making a successful handicap debut at Beverleyu a month ago, and with further progress on the cards, he's marginally preferred to the in-form Star Start. Zaakara also merits consideration.

The market spoke the way of MASCANI (nap) ahead of his handicap debut and he can defy a 3lb rise at the main expense of Star Start.

LTO Selection:

16:20 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BLUE ANTARES has been knocking on the door of late, most recently when filling the runner-up spot at Hamilton, and the son of Frankel would not need to improve much more to get off the mark. Dame Sarra landed a classified event at Wolverhampton 22 days ago and she must enter calculations back in a handicap. Dee's Dream has seen her handicap mark decline in recent starts and she might be able to step forward for the fitting of a first-time hood.

BLUE ANTARES has raised his game since fitted with a visor, finding just one too good in handicaps at Ripon and Hamilton, and is taken to deservedly open his account. Churchill Rose certainly wasn't disgraced over 14f here last time and is next on the list with this drop back in trip no bad thing. Dame Sarra recently opened her account on the all-weather and she will also be a threat if she puts her best foot forward now returned to turf.

In a race that won't take much winning the in-form BLUE ANTARES (nap) is the one to beat. AW winner Dame Sarra is next best.

LTO Selection:

16:30 Brighton Stakes (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Only narrowly denied over C&D last month, a return to classified stakes company can see NO TURNING BACK build on that effort and go one place better. The daughter of Equiano likely has more to offer and she can get the better of Reckon I'm Hot, who finished a fair fourth over 5f at Yarmouth earlier this month. Madrinho shaped as though he could benefit from a stiffer stamina test last time, but still warrants a second look.

VOODOO RAY showed much improved from to win a C&D handicap on his penultimate outing and shaped at least as well in defeat under an overly-aggressive ride here last time, so sets a decent standard in this low-grade contest. No Turning Back ran well when second over C&D last month and merits respect, whilst Madrinho seems slightly more trustworthy at Brighton than elsewhere and can give also give a good account.

The most interesting runner is the lightly raced NO TURNING BACK (nap), who has finished runner-up on both previous visits to Brighton.

LTO Selection:

16:45 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Time To Rumble was able to exploit a drop in the handicap when winning at Ayr last month and, though he merits respect from 3lb higher, preference is for MY HONEY B. Her recent Beverley success looked unlikely having been detached early on, but she was comfortably on top at the finish and rates as the one to beat in her hat-trick bid. The consistent Hostelry should be thereabouts, while Nine Elms heads the remainder.

MY HONEY B is going the right way and was well on top at the finish when completing a double at Beverley last time, so she's fancied to complete the hat-trick if they go a sound pace. Recent Ayr winner Time To Rumble is an obvious danger and four-time course winner Nine Elms can't be ruled out.

With the easier track on softer ground likely to suit, MY HONEY B can complete the hat-trick. Nine Elms is second choice.

LTO Selection:

16:50 Salisbury Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

GAVI DI GAVI found the return to 1m to his liking when scoring at Sandown last month and a 4lb rise may not be enough to prevent the Alan King-trained gelding from striking again. Girl Inthe Picture was runner-up at Yarmouth when last seen in June and cannot be discounted at this level. Hellavapace and Typical Man have form that would bring them into calculations too.

GAVI DI GAVI cashed in on his lower turf mark at Sandown last month and he retains plenty of handicapping scope up 4 lb. Anglo Saxson certainly won't lack for assistance from the saddle and he's feared most, ahead of Typical Man.

An open race. ANGLO SAXSON has been doing well at Yarmouth for his current yard but he should be effective elsewhere.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Having opened his account at Wolverhampton in May, MUCKY MULCONRY has posted two good efforts in defeat since and looks more than capable of defying his current mark in a moderate affair. Bryce continues to run with credit and is unlikely to be far away. Dropped in trip and with cheekpieces applied for the first time, Senor Pockets could go well too.

SAJWAAN needs to bounce back following a string of below-par efforts, but her handicap mark has dipped as a consequence and she is worth chancing in what looks a wide-open contest. Irish Dessert is second choice ahead of Bryce and Mucky Mulconry.

The vote goes to MUCKY MULCONRY who won over 5f at Wolverhampton in May and has since run creditably in two turf handicaps.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PACO'S PRIDE lost little in defeat when finishing a short-head second over this distance at Bath last month. She retains the mark from that run and, given Aidan Keeley knocks 3lb off her back courtesy of his claim, she would be foolish to dismiss. Fieldsman drops in class and is feared most, while Royal Bliss heads the remainder back on the turf.

LOCAL BAY was unlucky not to finish closer when third at Chepstow last month, keeping on when short of room entering the final 100 yds, so he can take advantage of his lower turf mark this time around. Paco's Pride ran her best race when second at Bath 22 days ago and could be the main danger, with Brilliant Blue completing the shortlist.

The suggestion is the steadily improving 3yo filly PACO'S PRIDE, who was only just reeled in over this trip at Bath three weeks ago.

LTO Selection:

17:05 Sligo Claiming Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DESERT FRIEND appreciates better ground and is eminently capable of a big run. He ran a fair race in third in a claimer on the Flat at Tramore last month, and it was just three runs back that he scored in a beginners' chase at Clonmel. Bigz Belief weakened out of contention in a handicap hurdle at Galway on Sunday, but it is worth noting that he made all to win a claiming hurdle over slightly further at this track in June. This is a marked drop in class for Wajaaha and it could spark him back into form. Market support would certainly be significant. Conna Cottage is far from out of contention.

Given that he is due to run on the Flat here on Wednesday, CAFE CON LECHE is far from certain to go to post, but it's worth noting that his success in a handicap hurdle at Limerick in March was gained on the back of a six-day break. Provided all goes well on Wednesday and he is allowed to take his chance, the 7-y-o will have a big chance on these terms. Conna Cottage could be the one to benefit most should Cafe Con Leche not take part, with Wajaaha and Desert Friend set for minor roles.

ODONNELL'S ORCHARD was far from disgraced when finishing a more than respectable fourth in the Listed Rose Bowl at Newbury last month and a similar level of performance may prove good enough here. This contest is by no means a weak affair though, with Zabriskie Point likely having more to offer after winning on his debut at Leicester in May, while it's too early to write off Boyfriend.

ODONNELL'S ORCHARD looked an ambitious runner pitched into listed company at Newbury 3 weeks ago but he ran a cracker to finish fourth. Back in class, he looks the answer, for all Leicester-winner Zabriskie Point is open to plenty of progress. Boyfriend is also a threat if able to shrug off a lesser effort last time.

Boyfriend perhaps failed to do himself justice when behind ODONNELL'S ORCHARD at Newbury but the selection has stepped up again.

17:25 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A few with chances, but marginal preference is for PORFIN. Phil McEntee's charge made all to score at Newmarket six days ago and he remains well treated under a penalty, provided this doesn't come too soon. Habanero Star must also compete under a penalty having struck over 1m here last time, but she appeals as a key player along with Abravaggio. Rogue Star should not be underestimated either.

ABRAVAGGIO made a winning start for his present yard at Chelmsford recently and a 4 lb rise may not be enough to prevent him from following up, provided he again puts his best foot forward. Bluebells Boy has low mileage for a 4-y-o and is respected on the back of a solid effort at Wolverhampton. He is second choice, albeit only marginally as Habanero Star and The Cola Brasil are others with decent claims.

Having shown improved form when scoring on his stable debut last time, ABRAVAGGIO is taken to follow up.

17:30 Chepstow Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The class-dropping Yantarni is interesting and is one to monitor closely in the betting. Sun King has scope to improve at this distance and is taken very seriously. However, slender preference is for UNITED FRONT, who has held his form well since returning from a short break and he can capitalise on a competitive rating to gain a second win of the current campaign.

A tightly-knit handicap with a tentative vote going to SUN KING, who signalled he's ready to strike when a close fourth at Yarmouth 2 weeks ago. Hartswood has returned in good order this season and has to be respected, as does Macs Dilemma, who goes well at this track and remains unexposed at the trip.

This could be a good opportunity for class-dropper TITIAN, who was a creditable third off this mark at Newmarket last month.

17:35 Sligo Maiden Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A switch to hurdling could see COOLE CHERRY get off the mark. Willie Mullins' mare has finished runner-up on all four bumper runs to date, so clearly has ability. She is ground versatile and is sure to be well schooled for her first crack at flights. Air Drop performed more than respectably in fourth in a mares' maiden hurdle at Listowel. There is likely to be much more to come from her as a half-sister to a horse who has won five races over hurdles. Ta Na La has had three spins over hurdles and, having been placed in all of them, wouldn't need to find much more to deliver in this company. Glendars Mahler has plenty of experience in this discipline and has been placed in three maiden hurdles. She fell in the early stages at Ballinrobe, but is better than that.

TA NA LA paid late on for matching strides with the winner for a long way at Kilbeggan last month and certainly has a race of this nature within her compass judged on that performance, so she gets the nod. Coole Cherry has shown a fair level of ability in bumpers and will be suited by this slightly stiffer test now hurdling, with Air Drop also feared.

LTO Selection:

17:45 Sandown Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ALAZWAR was a close third in a similar event at Newbury a couple of weeks ago and the five-year-old is hard to oppose off the same mark here. Piecederesistance hit the crossbar on his most recent outing and could prove to be the main threat to the selection, while Fast Steps edges out Obsidian Knight to be best of the rest.

A trappy opening contest to solve but preference is for FAST STEPS, who has been a shade disappointing since making a winning return in May but can get back to winning ways having landed this corresponding event 12 months ago. Alazwar arrives in good nick so he could be the one to give the selection most to think about, while Piecederesistance and Obsidian Knight can do battle for third spot.

Most of these have questions regarding their current form and/or their suitability to this trip so the suggestion is PIECEDERESISTANCE.

17:53 Salisbury Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

There was plenty to like about DRAGON LEADER's debut triumph over C&D in June and the son of El Kabeir could be up to defying a 4lb penalty. Nukanan, a half-brother to the precocious Kokachin, is a potential fly in the ointment and any market support would make Roger Varian's colt interesting. Gunfighter offered encouragement when third at Newbury last month and makes most appeal of the remainder.

DRAGON LEADER did well to overcome a pace bias to make a winning debut over C&D 2 months ago and has leading claims, though Gunfighter gets 4 lb from the selection and is highly respected following a promising Newbury debut. Nukanan is a very interesting newcomer.

Drying ground will suit DRAGON LEADER, who looked potentially quite useful when making a winning debut here and he can defy a penalty.

LTO Selection:

18:00 Chepstow Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

EMINNY faced a stiff test in a Listed event at Sandown last time and may find these calmer waters more to her liking. Dropping back in trip could also unlock further improvement but, having previously won at Leicester and Beverley, her proven effectiveness on undulating tracks is a persuasive factor. Band Of Joy is also a player as she bids to add a second 6f success to her portfolio, while the recent Yarmouth winner Chinese Knot is noted with Saffie Osborne retaining the ride.

CHINESE KNOT showed improved form to open her account in the opening contest of this year's Racing League at Yarmouth a fortnight ago and with this step up to 6f sure to pose no problems, Rod Millman's filly is fancied to follow up at the expense of Band of Joy, who was unable to land the hat-trick recently but should be in the shake-up once again. Big Brown Bear and Eminny can do battle for third.

An open nursery but ALGHALIB may have got in lightly if able to tap back into the promise he showed initially and he has been gelded.

TIMOURID could fare best in this rated novice hurdle. Paul Flynn's charge landed a valuable handicap on the Flat at the Curragh in May and showed that he has a future over hurdles when taking a Roscommon maiden hurdle in July. Outsider Presenting Doyen took full advantage of a pace collapse to win in Killarney. That form has to be taken with a pinch of salt, however, she brought up plenty of bets so the win wasn't a surprise to many. Hazelhatch Lady made all and held on to score over further in Roscommon. She goes to work off bottom-weight and the field would be wise not to give her too much rope if the same tactics are applied.

TIMOURID created a good impression when making his first completed start over hurdles a winning one in a Roscommon maiden in July, and with further progress in the offing on that evidence, he's fancied to make a bold bid to follow up in this stronger affair. Presenting Doyen, following her Killarney victory 21 days ago, can emerge as the chief threat.

BATAL ZABEEL was beaten a neck into second at Ayr last time by a rival who has already been placed twice at Listed level. Kevin Ryan's colt may improve for the application of first-time blinkers and he is likely to be hard to beat if doing so. Nazron has made the frame in both previous starts and is likely to do so once again, while Government Call and Mr Wonderful are others to note.

NAZRON is more than capable of winning a maiden and this looks a good opportunity for the son of Dark Angel. Batal Zabeel has got better with each run and arguably should have won at Ayr last time, so is feared most ahead of Government Call.

Although twice a beaten favourite NAZRON looks to have the best form and can make it third time lucky.

18:23 Salisbury Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ZOUMOON has the experience edge and she sets a decent standard in this contest. James Ferguson's charge was a good second over 6f at Kempton last time and, if she's able to repeat that effort, the daughter of Zoustar would take the beating here. Star Music is feared most and James Doyle is an eye-catching jockey booking, while All Agleam is another debutant to be taken seriously.

Mostly newcomers, and the market should provide extra clues, but RINNOVATI and Star Music both stand out on paper, with preference for the former, a daughter of Churchill who fetched 6 figures as a yearling. Zoumoon has shown promise both starts and is another to consider.

Kempton runner-up ZOUMOON is tentatively selected in the hope her experience gives her enough of an advantage over the newcomers.

LTO Selection:

18:30 Chepstow Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The presence of Momaer suggests this will be run at a good tempo and, while she was hit with a 9lb rise after winning at Leicester on her return, the four-year-old is dangerous to underestimate with a tongue-tie now applied for the first time. However, RAMIRO appears to be thriving on being kept busy at present and dropping him back to 6f while the ground is in his favour could be a rewarding move. Sir Maxi and Nordic Passage are also considered.

On her first attempt at sprinting, MOMAER doubled her tally in remarkably easy fashion at Leicester last month, and with further improvement on the cards, Mark Loughnane's 4-y-o gets the verdict to go in again with a first-time tongue tie added to her usual hood. Nordic Passage lurks on a very dangerous mark so he may emerge as the main threat, ahead of the penalised Executive Decision and Ramiro.

Improving 4yo MOMAER is unexposed as a sprinter and can prove too strong for Nordic Passage and Sir Maxi.

18:35 Sligo Handicap Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DOWNTHEREFORDANCIN appeared to be crying out for a step up in trip in Roscommon and gets it here. He stayed on to be a never-nearer fourth over just shy of 2m, and looks a big player in this handicap. On Pearlofflorida's penultimate start, she enjoyed the good ground over a similar trip at this track and swept in by three lengths. She then didn't appear to quite get home when sixth over an extended 3m at Kilbeggan, but should appreciate being back over this sort of trip. Kellie's Dream won nicely over 2m2f in Kilbeggan which brings her right into contention. Cian Quirke knows her well and his 5lb claim is more than useful. Champagne Vacation gave best on the run-in over further in Bellewstown and dropped to third, so this journey could be more to his liking.

This could be a strong race for the grade with MAGNETIC NORTH taken to get his act together over hurdles and cash in on what is a generous mark given his Flat ability. Kellie's Dream is feared most, though Baby Chou is open to progress.

18:45 Sandown Maiden (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

STATE OF DESIRE confirmed the promise that he displayed on debut when filling second place over 7f at Haydock last month and the step up in trip could see the son of Frankel go one better here. Defiance is a noteworthy newcomer having cost 190,000gns as a yearling and he is from the family of the St Leger winner Mastery. Fool's Paradise and Stratocracy also merit market inspections, while Caviar Heights is entitled to improve for his first start.

STATE OF DESIRE has shown promise both starts and should be up to winning one of these. Caviar Heights was an expensive yearling and seems sure to step up on a promising debut fourth at this venue. Defiance is the newcomer that really catches the eye on paper.

Perhaps Frankel colt STATE OF DESIRE can make it third time lucky with the step up to 1m likely to play to his strengths.

18:53 Salisbury Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

This looks like a good opportunity for RAQIYA to get off the mark at the second time of asking after running with promise when fourth over 6f at Newbury. Owen Burrows' filly was only beaten one and a quarter lengths on that occasion and she appears hard to beat here. Miss Idunn is related to some useful sprinters, so this trip is likely to suit, while So Logical heads the remainder.

RAQIYA is bred to be useful and her debut fourth at Newbury was full of promise. With that in mind, a step forward looks firmly on the cards and she will take some stopping. So Logical and Miss Idunn are a couple of interesting-looking newcomers.

It's difficult to see past RAQIYA after her most promising debut behind respected opposition at Newbury.

19:00 Chepstow Handicap (Class 3) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

I Still Have Faith's willing attitude saw the son of Expert Eye record a double at Newmarket last month and another bold bid cannot be ruled out off 4lb higher. However, SHAHBAZ travelled with more verve in a first-time visor when staying on into second place at Yarmouth a fortnight ago and compensation could await now returned to 1m2f. Last-time-out winner Totnes has been dealt a 7lb rise in the ratings, which may be enough to prevent her from following up on this switch to turf.

I STILL HAVE FAITH took his form up a notch when scoring twice last month, and with further progress on the cards, Ben Brookhouse's charge is fancied to bring up the hat-trick. Shahbaz looked unlucky not to win at Yarmouth a fortnight ago but he may have to settle for silver once again, with the unexposed Gordon Grey also expected to run well.

There should still be more to come from lightly raced colt GORDON GREY (nap), who was a clear second on his handicap debut.

19:05 Sligo Maiden Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

WESEEKHERTHERE has run well enough on three starts over hurdles to suggest she is capable of winning a race of this nature. The Gordon Elliott-trained four-year-old showed up nicely in two maidens before winning her bumper at Roscommon in June. There was again, plenty to take from a staying on third back over flights at Ballinrobe last time. Winning Flat handicapper Scott Lang has reached the frame on his only two runs over hurdles to date. The Paul Flynn-trained six-year-old has to concede weight all round but should be good enough to make his presence felt. Attaboyarchie has the highest official rating of those to have received a mark, while his jockey can claim 7lb. The Imperial Monarch gelding was a beaten favourite at Wexford last time but is a capable sort on his best form.

WESEEKHERTHERE matched her previous best over hurdles despite shaping as though the drop in trip was against her when third in a Ballinrobe maiden 16 days ago and, with this rating a more suitable test, she looks likely to make a bold bid. Attaboyarchie is a player on the pick of his form, and along with Scott Lang, heads up the dangers.

19:15 Sandown Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Carbis Bay has shown plenty of promise in three qualifying runs, most notably when a half-length second over this trip at Newcastle last time, but an opening mark of 82 leaves with him no margin for error and fellow handicap debutant MUKTAMIL could be better treated off 74. The selection looked crying out for further when a staying-on fourth over 1m at Salisbury on his latest outing 315 days ago and that form has worked very well, with the winner placing in the Ribblesdale and finishing a close second in the Irish Oaks this year. The layoff is an obvious concern for Marcus Tregoning's gelding, but he looks potentially very well treated. Theme Park and Mlle Chanel are others to consider.

It's taken connections of MUKTAMIL a while to get him back to the track this year but he's very much the type to make a better 3-y-o, particularly over this trip. He's therefore awarded the vote in favour of Theme Park and Beccara Rose.

The vote goes the way of northern raider THEME PARK, who is unexposed at this trip and takes a slight drop in class here.

19:23 Salisbury Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

JOY CHOI was only beaten a head when third over C&D last time and, raised just 1lb in the ratings, she has a very good chance of getting her head back in front here. Firenze Rosa was a short head in front of the selection on that occasion before going on to score over 6f at Lingfield, but she's on much worse terms with the selection as a result. Atty's Edge completes the shortlist.

JOY CHOI has just the one win to her name but again ran well when third in a C&D handicap 12 days ago, edged out late on. Better off at the weights with the runner-up that day Firenza Rosa (won since), she could be the way to go, with Atty's Edge, who looked an unlucky loser himself at Bath 4 weeks ago, another firmly in the mix.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

DANCING IN PARIS' stamina appeared to be stretched by 1m3f when third at Goodwood on Friday and compensation could await on this quick turnaround now returned to 1m2f. Highwaygrey is only 1lb higher than his placed effort at Pontefract in June and Tim Easterby's gelding should give his running once more. Fantasy Believer and Chimeric both arrive in fine fettle and are others to note in an open event.

A competitive handicap, in which class-dropping MAJESTIC is fancied to shrug off a rare poor performance in the John Smith's Cup last time and gain his first success since landing last year's Cambridgeshire. Bosc Girl pulled clear with a prolific rival at Doncaster last time and there could be more still to come from Richard Fahey's lightly-raced filly, whilst Fantasy Believer has only been nudged up slightly for last month's Newmarket win and should be in the mix again.

Last season's Cambridgeshire winner MAJESTIC was having another solid season until finishing down the field at York.

THE FOUR SIXES disappointed when pulled up at Fairyhouse in December but a reproduction of his maiden hurdle win at Clonmel the previous month would make him the one to beat here. The runner-up went on to win his next two starts and is now rated 135, while the third won a competitive handicap at Galway last week. If fit and ready after an absence, the Gordon Elliott-trained five-year-old looks nicely handicapped in this grade. Delante failed to give her running at Galway but the Tom Copper-trained mare went close at this track on her penultimate start. Perhaps, a return to familiar terrain will see the daughter of Walk In The Park in a better light. Junior Rattler stayed on nicely when second at Kilbeggan on his reappearance last month. The Oliver McKiernan-trained gelding should be sharper for that run, so rates a danger under Philip Enright.

TRUE DESTINY was on the up over hurdles in June and, despite a poor run on the Flat at Galway last week, he's worth a chance to gain another C&D success at the possible expense of Clifftop, who ran well in a novice at Ballinrobe 16 days ago. The Four Sixes is one to monitor in the betting on return.

If forgiven a poor run at Fairyhouse in December THE FOUR SIXES has strong claims in this grade based on a Clonmel maiden win

19:45 Sandown Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Tough Enough has strong claims on his Windsor victory before a good effort in a valuable handicap at Newmarket off this mark on his latest outing, but they were on fast ground and over 6f, so preference is for RIOT. Winner of a similar event to this at Doncaster off 2lb lower last month, David O'Meara's gelding ran well in defeat off his revised rating at York 13 days ago and is proven with cut in the ground. Toussarok has slipped to an attractive mark and should appreciate the return to 7f.

TOUGH ENOUGH shaped well in a deep race at Newmarket 4 weeks ago and, with the step up to 7f likely to be in range, he's well worth siding with to resume winning ways, especially now returned to much calmer waters. Riot fared best of those held up on his most recent outing at York and remains well treated on old form, with Chola Empire completing the shortlist.

If TOUGH ENOUGH (nap) doesn't pull his chance away stepping up to 7f for the first time he should take some stopping.

19:53 Salisbury Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

An open contest in which the hat-trick seeking AZAHARA PALACE gets the vote. She kept on well to score by a length and a quarter over this distance at Chepstow last month and a 3lb raised mark may not be enough to halt her progression. The unexposed Maremma is feared most on her handicap debut, while the four-timer hunting War Chant is just one other with claims.

AZAHARA PALACE followed up her Chepstow maiden victory under another positive ride on handicap debut at that venue 21 days ago, enjoying the run of the race but ultimately winning readily. She could well be up to defying a 3 lb rise in the weights and completing the hat-trick. War Chant comes here in search of the 4-timer and is feared, with Kracking and Maremma just 2 others to consider in a competitive affair.

A chance is taken on SEA SQUARED, who didn't appear to be unfancied when getting stuck in the mud on his handicap debut at Goodwood.

20:00 Chepstow Handicap (Class 3) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

MANILA SCOUSE was a comfortable winner over 5f at Haydock on Sunday and looks to have a good chance of following up that success. Tim Easterby's gelding does not have to carry a penalty for that success and should take the beating off the same mark. Grace Angel also won last time out over 5f at Haydock and, despite a 5lb rise in the ratings, she is not easily ruled out, while Stone Circle should also be taken seriously after succeeding by a head over 5f at Yarmouth.

MANILA SCOUSE deservedly returned to winning ways in an apprentice handicap at Haydock on Sunday and, without a penalty for his recent victory, he can quickly double his tally for the season. Kimngrace could step forward from her recent run to pose the biggest threat to the selection, while Stone Circle is another to consider in his current form.

Manila Scouse runs off the same mark as his Haydock win but STONE CIRCLE is also in good form and is proven over C&D.

MOUNT SINAI, a half-sister to a gelding that won his bumper first time out before finishing fourth in the Cheltenham Grade 1 bumper, is obviously interesting on debut. Like the aforementioned, she also represents the Willie Mullins stable, so is certain to know her job on racecourse debut. It would be no surprise to see the daughter of Mount Nelson make a winning start to her career at a track where her trainer does exceptionally well. Adela Icon showed precious little on her initial outing at Fairyhouse in December but subsequently made a hot favourite pull out all the stops when just being denied at Ballinrobe. A reproduction of that latter effort would make the David Harry Kelly-trained mare a serious contender. Sleep Sound shaped well on her debut when third over hurdles at Kilbeggan last month so has to be respected now switching to a bumper for her in-form trainer.

MOUNT SINAI is with a top yard and related to a bumper winner, so she's worth chancing to make a successful start in a race where the bar isn't set all that high by those with experience. Adela Icon and I Am Shadow might well fight it out if the selection doesn't come up to expectations.

The Willie Mullins-trained MOUNT SINAI, a half-sister to the yard's debut bumper winner Seabank Bistro, gets the vote on debut

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Kevin Philippart De Foy has his string in sparkling form at present and could add to his tally here courtesy of D DAY ODETTE, who has only gone up 2lb for her 1m victory at Salisbury last time and that form has been boosted by the runner-up scoring since. However, there are plenty of dangers in a tricky handicap, most notably Roman Dynasty, who has been knocking on the door in recent outings, and Chifa, who only found one too good when bidding for a double at Bath last month.

Claims can be made for most and with that in mind it may pay to take a chance on SOUTHWOLD. He arrives with fewer miles on the clock than most and, with cheekpieces now reached for/William Buick on for the first time, it would come as no surprise to see a bold showing with his yard boasting a good strike rate at this venue. Salisbury-scorer D Day Odette, Grey Fox and Roman Dynasty head the dangers, with Rival another not out of things.

The unexposed SOUTHWOLD leaves the impression he may benefit from today's first-time cheekpieces and can resume his progression.

LTO Selection:

20:23 Salisbury Handicap (Class 6) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The unexposed ROGUE TORNADO recorded his best run to date when scoring over 1m4f at Pontefract last month. The son of Cracksman kept on well that day and shaped as though he can follow up, despite a stiffer stamina test and a 5lb raised mark. Manxman seems his biggest danger following an emphatic success over 2m at Nottingham most recently, even though he has to shoulder a 6lb penalty for that. Beat The Heat heads the remainder.

No surprise were 3-y-os to dominate this given ROGUE TORNADO and Manxman arrive here firmly on the up. The former promises to relish this step up in trip so is marginally preferred. Of the others, Social City can give it another good shot.

(11) Pearle D'or 5/1, Right back on track in refitted hood of late, impressing with how he travelled when getting to better of another in-form sort at Ascot (7f) 13 days ago. Remains pretty low-mileage as a 4-y-o and no surprise where he capable of rating higher still.

(13) Quest For Fun 9/1, Dual 6f winner for Julie Camacho who has gradually worked his way back to form for present yard this year, cashing in on reduced mark at York (7f) 2 weeks ago. Little bit more needed if he's to follow up on these revised terms, however.
Features prominently in calulations, having recently won 17-runner York handicap over 7f.

(3) Accidental Agent 7.5/1, Tremendous servant to connections (Queen Anne winner in his prime) and he ran respectably when fifth in Bunbury Cup on his latest start in July, forced to switch 1f out and running on. Handicapper has relinquished his grip if he can build on that.
Ran well in last month's Bunbury Cup but this veteran has become unreliable.

Spirit Of Light

18/1(+28%)
(5) Spirit Of Light 18/1, Winless for present yard but better than bare form figures suggest in recent months, again not seen to best effect in the International handicap (7f) at Ascot 12 days ago. Connections now opt for a visor from further reduced mark and he's not one to write off.
Well down the field in three valuable, big-field Ascot handicaps this summer; visored here.

Made the frame in three 7f Group races last year; the class act in this line-up.

9th (7) Zip (22/1 -22%)
Zip

22/1(-22%)
(7) Zip 22/1, Bagged a couple of AW handicaps since the turn of the year and having been ridden too aggressively in the Victoria Cup, he returned to form when second at Newcastle (7f) early on last month. Easy to back and ran below form ay York since and others make greater appeal.
Nine-time winner over 7f but on a tough mark now and drying ground a big negative.

Atrium

6.5/1(-8%)
(4) Atrium 6.5/1, Found ease in weights/drop in grade liberating and bounced back to best when landing share of the spoils at Doncaster (7f, soft) 3 weeks ago. 2 lb rise looks fair and no surprise to see him go well again.
Dead-heated when dropped back to 7f last month; still on workable mark after 2lb rise.

Fools Rush In

7/1(-56%)
(9) Fools Rush In 7/1, Losing run is mounting up but gave the impression he's on his way back when finishing good fifth in International handicap (7f) at Ascot 12 days ago, running on late. Eased further 3 lb ahead of this and he could just be worth siding with to build on that now.
Kept on well for creditable fifth of 25 at Ascot recently and remains on a tempting mark.

12th (2) Boardman (22/1 -10%)
Boardman

22/1(-10%)
(2) Boardman 22/1, Successful 3 times last season and right back to his best when landing a Chester handicap (7.6f) in May. Struggled in Group 3 company next time and he again struggled to make an impact from career-hgh mark at Haydock (7f) 33 days ago. Others appeal more.
Ran poorly last month and probably needs to bounce back with a career-best effort here.
LTO Selection:

20:30 Chepstow Handicap (Class 2) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

This appears to be a very difficult puzzle to solve with the tentative selection being ACCIDENTAL AGENT. Eve Johnson Houghton's charge returned to form when fifth in the Bunbury Cup over 7f at Newmarket last month and he is on a dangerously low mark, which could be exploited here. Atrium is feared most after dead-heating for the win over 7f at Doncaster last time and, raised just 2lb in the ratings, he deserves respect, while Able Kane should also give his running.

FOOLS RUSH IN dropped his biggest hint yet this year that he's coming to the boil when running on late for fifth in the International at Ascot last month and, having been cut further slack by the assessor, he could just be ready to strike with forecast conditions holding no fears. Last-time-out winners Pearle d'Or and Atrium head up the dangers, with Saxon King another who can dispel a slightly lesser display at Newmarket 19 days ago.

The pick is FOOLS RUSH IN, who hinted he might be ready to exploit some help from the handicapper when fifth of 25 at Ascot recently.
