12:41 Galway Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MISS AGUSTA was capable in bumpers and is likely to be ready on her reappearance and jumps debut. Bought for 235,000 euros following her debut second in the 2022 Goffs Land Rover Bumper, she was placed at Listed level last April before disappointing on her last run. Today she drops in class for a winnable maiden hurdle. Notkeepingyagoing is a previous point-to-point winner who ran well over hurdles in August. She defeated a subsequent winner by 13 lengths in a course bumper in September 2022, but now returns following another small break and might prefer further. Jack Foley returns from injury on Armed And Fabulous. She has bumper form, but disappointed when jumping fractionally left on jumps debut here recently and needs to show more. Mi Lucky Cailin won a bumper at last year's corresponding fixture but was well beaten subsequently and now reappears. One For Daisy steps up from a point-to-point win.

MISS AGUSTA finished runner-up twice in bumpers last season and givne the yard she represents, is capable of winning a maiden hurdle against her own sex. Armed And Fabulous will doubtless show more this time, with Notkeepingyagoing another to consider.

This looks a very good opportunity for decent bumper mare MISS AGUSTA to score on her hurdles debut

12:50 Aintree Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Ben Pauling saddled the winner of this prize 12 months ago and SOUND AND FURY could provide him with further success. A winner between the flags in April of last year, the six-year-old showed a fair level of ability in maiden/novice company last season and is interesting off a mark of 114, with the step up to an extended 3m for his handicap debut an added bonus. Mylesfromwicklow would be a deserving winner having hit the woodwork on each of his four starts under Rules, while others to note include No But I Will and Secret Trix.

An interesting and competitive opener. NO BUT I WILL reappears for a yard in good form and gets the nod to make a winning handicap debut. Sound And Fury, who represents last year's winning stable, and Mylesfromwicklow have similarly unexposed profiles to the selection and head the many possible dangers along with the thriving Secret Trix.

This presents quite a puzzle but it may be solved by improvement from MYLESFROMWICKLOW moving up in trip on his handicap debut.

LTO Selection:

13:01 Wexford Beginners Chase 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

This looks a good opportunity for JAPERS JACK in a race for horses who have not won over hurdles or fences. The Philip Fenton-trained gelding has plenty of placed form over timber, including when beating all bar favourite Sir Argus in a Cork maiden last Easter, and made an encouraging start over fences at Galway earlier this month when third to Perceval Legallois on testing ground. Ideal Du Tabert also has a list of placed runs over hurdles, including when third at Kilbeggan last month, while Silent Approach picked up black type over hurdles when third to Shecouldbeanything in a Killarney Listed event back in May. Potters Party and the Gordon Elliott-trained pair Malton Groove and Zettabyte are others to consider.

JAPERS JACK surpassed the pick of his hurdles form when third over fences at Galway a month ago and a repeat of that may well suffice. Potters Party and Sixhandsinmypokcet remain capable of better over the larger obstacles and head the opposition.

(3) Amelia's Dance 33/1, Added to an excellent record at Taunton when getting off the mark for the season there in December. However, lost his form subsequently and will probably need this.
Ended last season with some tame efforts and returns with a point to prove.
LTO Selection:

13:10 Wincanton Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The lightly-raced Him Malaya has shown some promise since undergoing wind surgery back in January and is taken seriously on his return to action. Bertie Wooster has also looked progressive in five previous runs over hurdles and is noted dropping back in trip. However, GETAWAY TOM ticks the right boxes regarding both trip and ground and, with the tongue-tie/cheekpieces combination retained, he is taken to follow up last month's Worcester success off just 4lb higher.

GETAWAY TOM is finding his feet and showed a good attitude to open his account at Worcester last time, so he's worth a chance to follow up. Bertie Wooster should be on the premises and Him Malaya appeals as the type to do better this season.

13:16 Galway Maiden Chase 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

AFFORDALE FURY is a smart chasing recruit whose only disappointing run last January came just 11 days after a fall. He subsequently bounced back with excellent Cheltenham and Punchestown Grade 1 runner-up efforts and is helped by having previous point-to-point form. Franciscan Rock and Favori De Champdou are closely matched on that Punchestown form but each has six lengths to find with the selection, while Franciscan Rock fell on his recent chase debut. Daily Present was rated 133 over hurdles but is best watched on his return following a long layoff, while Meetingofthewaters was well supported when disappointing here recently.

A cracking maiden chase. AFFORDALE FURY could develop into one of the best staying novice chasers around this season and can make the perfect start and provide Noel Meade with a third successive win in this contest. Gordon Elliott is another trainer who does well in this race and his Favori de Champdou can give the selection most to do.

Cheltenham and Punchestown second AFFORDALE FURY has every chance of being a leading novice chase prospect and can start off here

(11) Duc De Beauchene 12/1, In the form of his life back in the spring, winning staying handicaps at Wincanton and Fakenham (good second in stronger Kempton contest in between). Possibly found Cartmel a race too many and returns with cheekpieces reapplied after 5 months off.

In an open heat, it might be worth taking a chance on WISHING AND HOPING, who has previously finished first and second in this contest. That second came last year, where he was no match for a ready winner, but he clearly thrives at this venue. Boldmere was in good form when last seen and must be respected on his return. Celebre D'Allen was a well-beaten eighth in the Topham but is an interesting candidate down in grade, and from 5lb below his last winning mark.

JIMMY THE DIGGER made a winning reappearance at Cheltenham last season and Henry Daly's 10-y-o gets the verdict to repeat that feat and make his first start in veterans' company a successful one. The main danger may emerge from Nestor Park, who has just the sole victory to his name in this sphere but has made the frame 11 times from 12 completed starts, while Cap du Nord and Boldmere are another couple to consider in what looks an ultra-competitive contest on paper.

This looks the time to catch JIMMY THE DIGGER (nap), whose reappearance record is very persuasive. Boldmere is feared most.

13:35 Wexford Handicap Chase 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BRIDESWELL LAD has won both over fences and hurdles at this venue and took advantage of a lowly timber rating on his penultimate start here last month. The selection won twice over fences earlier this year, including at the Punchestown Festival, and hopefully is none the worse of a fall at Listowel last time. Point-to-point winner Time To Rocco opened her chase account under Rules on soft ground at Thurles this spring and now switches to handicap company after a number of novice outings, including when second at Listowel. Ex Patriot was a smart sort, both over hurdles and fences, but has only raced twice in the past three years and it will be interesting to see if he's supported in the market. Top-weight Take All has won twice at this venue, including over C&D this summer, while The Short Go made a winning start over fences at Clonmel last month.

THE SHORT GO appeals as the type who'll thrive over fences and duly made a winning start at Clonmel last month. He's taken to follow up at the main expense of Tempo Chapter Two and Mercury Lane.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

KING OF THE STORY was unfortunate to encounter a progressive type when a good second at Plumpton on Monday and could be hard to beat if this race doesn't come around too soon. It was a modest event in which Astroman finished second here 10 days ago, so David Pipe's chasing debutant Lock Out may be the one to give the selection the most to think about in a race where winning form over fences is thin on the ground.

A weak affair but KING OF THE STORY arrives in good form and can put his chase experience to good use. Lock Out looks best of the chasing newcomers, while Concrete King has slipped to an attractive mark.

13:51 Galway Handicap Chase 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

EMANCIPATOR won on recent reappearance and reverts to fences rated 4lb lower than his current hurdles mark. His form is in-and-out but he revels in testing ground, likes staying distances and is again ridden by his 7lb claimer. Routine Excellence was pulled up on his most recent run but returns following a summer break and has claims on Ladies National form in April. Lightly-raced top-weight Brampton Belle hasn't won since landing a Listed hurdle in February 2022 and disappointed on her last run, but returns from a break and is suited by conditions. Natural Look has recent form but might not want heavy ground, while Old Soul is ideally suited by conditions but was well beaten on reappearance and runs in a first-time tongue-tie. Falco Blitz's rating has fallen, while The Dabbler hasn't won for two years.

EMANCIPATOR capitalised on a lower hurdles mark with the minimum of fuss at Gowran last time and appeals as the one to beat if still in the same form back over the larger obstacles. Brampton Belle would rate as another leading player if brushing up her jumping, with handicap-newcomer Natural Look also considered.

After two reverses at the end of last season EMANCIPATOR should now show the benefit of a confidence-restoring hurdles win at Gowran

A fascinating renewal sees the return of MY DROGO, who has been off since winning at Cheltenham in December 2021. He sustained an injury thereafter, but his Grade 1 romp as a novice hurdler here still lives fresh in the memory and offers plenty of hope that he can pick up where he left off. Tommy's Oscar returned with a decisive success at Kelso and is expected to mount another stern challenge off 5lb higher. Hitman finished a gallant second in this 12 months ago, off 1lb higher, and is another to consider.

A fascinating renewal but the way TOMMY'S OSCAR made a faultless winning comeback at Kelso suggests he can fulfil his potential in 2023/24 after a rather hit-and-miss novice campaign. Datsalrightgino showed why he went off favourite for the Plate at Cheltenham when winning a Grade 2 at Ayr on his final start and is another to consider, while My Drogo has been off for almost 2 years with a tendon injury but remains an exciting chasing prospect.

My Drogo has to be feared despite the long absence. DATSALRIGHTGINO is a solid alternative, while Minella Drama is respected.

14:10 Wexford Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Henry de Bromhead has won this race three times in the past four years, including with smart point-to-point winner Inthepocket 12 months ago, and is represented here by LOOK TO THE WEST. The Westerner mare has a similar background having easily beat subsequent maiden hurdle winner Fortunefavorsdbold at Dromahane last year and is an interesting recruit to the track. Clodders Dream indicated ability in five hurdle outings last season, including when fourth to Tactical Move in a 22-runner maiden at Punchestown. Meritorious won a 1m4f Newmarket handicap for John Gosden but has failed to add to that tally in the intervening two years, although he did show some promise when third in a Punchestown maiden hurdle last winter. Rick Dalton has plenty of placed form on the Flat, while Marciano and Monsieur Azul are others to note.

A weak maiden so point-winner LOOK TO THE WEST may prove good enough to make a winning debut for powerful connections. Monsieur Azul stepped up from his hurdling debut 5 months earlier when second at Gowran and is feared most ahead of Clodders Dream and Meritorious.

LTO Selection:

14:19 Wincanton Conditions Hurdle (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Paul Nicholls has traditionally enjoyed a terrific strike-rate with his recruits from France and can again prove the worth of the sourcing process if LIARI hits the ground running on his hurdles debut. The winner of an extended 10f maiden on the level at Toulouse, the son of Cracksman is sure to have been primed for the switch in codes and holds the most intrigue. Surprise Fontwell winner Kilcummin is vulnerable under a penalty, so fellow ex-Flat racer Whispering Royal may be the main danger to the selection.

It's easy to envisage hurdling newcomers dominating this, with LIARI, a recruit from France, expected to be well prepared for this given the yard he represents. Whispering Royal is the obvious threat, with Stray Bullet also of some interest.

Paul Nicholls' new recruit LIARI ran to a fairly useful level when winning on the Flat in France in March and is given the vote.

LTO Selection:

14:26 Galway Handicap Chase 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MY FRIEND THE WIND might turn last year's placing with Captain Jimmy and win. A dual hurdles winner, the selection is rated 6lb lower in this sphere and while beaten a neck in last year's renewal (Eddies Pride finished fifth), is 10lb better off with Captain Jimmy. The latter has won the last two renewals and while he will be primed for today's reappearance and likes this course, might find the race-fit selection too strong. Hascoeur Clermont is another dual hurdles winner who is rated 4lb lower over fences and while he lay second when exiting at the final fence in Punchestown recently, is without his rider's 7lb claim now. Takarengo has won just once from 30 jumps runs, while Teescomponentsyess is quirky and debuts in handicaps from a lower rating than over hurdles.

TAKARENGO has been handed a lenient-looking chase mark and a good round of jumping can see him take advantage this time. Hascoeur Clermont was in the process of running well when unseating at Punchestown and is next best ahead of My Friend The Wind.

Despite not having won for two years, there was plenty to like about how TAKARENGO saw out his race here last time and he could score

14:35 Aintree Maiden Hurdle (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

INTHEWATERSIDE was quite taking when landing a second NH Flat race at Sandown in February and Paul Nicholls' gelding could keep his unbeaten record intact if translating that ability to obstacles. Jagwar found only a subsequent Listed hurdle winner too strong when runner-up on his debut at Auteuil a year ago and that experience should stand him in good stead. He may provide the most resistance to the selection, ahead of winning pointer Simple Getaway.

INTHEWATERSIDE looks the part and he rates a smashing hurdles prospect having passed each test in bumpers last term, so is taken to remain unbeaten. Jagwar sets a pretty good standard on his effort in France for another stable, while it's taken time for Theformismighty to make his Rules debut but he could hardly be in better hands.

Good prospect INTHEWATERSIDE is taken to win this maiden event en route to better things. Jagwar is feared most.

BRAVE FORTUNE didn't enjoy the clearest of passages when far from disgraced on debut in the valuable Goffs Bumper at the Punchestown Festival and looked a useful sort when easily winning a point-to-point at Castletown-Geoghegan last month. Joyeux Vivo also made his debut in a bumper at the Punchestown Festival this spring and kept on nicely into third behind Angelo Dundee in a 22-runner contest that is working out quite well. Jasmin De Cotte was runner-up to San Frandisco in a Monksgrange point that has thrown up a number of winners and he subsequently made 160,000 pounds at Aintree in April, while Cobra Queen was purchased for 75,000 pounds on the same day at Aintree having won a point at Ballyknock. Winning Smut has placed form over hurdles and is another to consider in what should prove an informative race.

JOYEUX VIVO shaped very nicely when fourth in a big-field bumper at Punchestown during the spring and is selected to make a winning return/hurdles debut. Cobra Queen representing a top yard so she demands a second look, with Winning Smut's experience likely to take him so far.

PANJARI comes with risks attached having looked fractious in the preliminaries before finishing fifth on his hurdling debut at Chepstow. However, it's too early to be writing off Paul Nicholls' gelding, with the addition of a first-time hood expected to help settle him. Perfect Nelson has posted some creditable runner-up efforts in Irish bumpers and warrants respect entering this sphere on his stable bow. Lowry's Bar boasts a pointing background and may fare best of the remainder.

Plenty of runners but not a race with much obvious depth to it so another chance can be given to useful Flat recruit PANJARI to show he can cut the mustard over hurdles. Perfect Nelson showed plenty in bumpers in Ireland and is second choice now switching to hurdles for new trainer Jeremy Scott. Irish point recruits Lowry's Bar and Siam Park are others who could have a say.

15:01 Galway Maiden Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The progressive SEQUESTERED bumped into a smart subsequent Listed winner at Listowel in September. He previously contested a hot course bumper in August - from which the third, fourth, sixth, eighth and 12th have all won subsequently - and at Listowel last month, had the useful Reverend Hubert behind in third. Stuzzikini is dependable and in form but would prefer further and might also be happier on a sounder surface. Mint Boy won on testing ground at Gowran but steps up in grade, while Free Flowing capitalised on some poor jumping from the odds-on runner-up when winning here recently but is proven on testing ground. Moon D'orange and Zolpharine were well held at Cork, while Walhaan runs in a first-time tongue-tie and visor.

Making a belated handicap debut, STUZZIKINI ran his best race in first-time cheekpieces when runner-up at Punchestown 19 days ago and he can get back to winning ways returned to novice company. Sequestered also showed improved form on his latest outing and could be the main danger, with Mint Boy completing the shortlist.

The 126 rating achieved by STUZZIKINI looks solid in that he was runner-up in a handicap on his latest start

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

SANTOS BLUE lost little in defeat when thwarted in his bid to land a four-timer at Cheltenham in April, and a 3lb rise for that third-placed effort may not be enough to stop this progressive six-year-old from regaining the winning thread. EBF Final winner Crambo has progressed nicely over hurdles and is open to further improvement, while Dare To Shout and Lac De Constance aren't taken lightly.

CRAMBO, who was beaten only in Grade 1 company last season, looks the leading player, with Santos Blue another major player in a strong-looking heat. Hourvari isn't dismissed either.

The EBF Final winner CRAMBO should have more to offer this season and is the selection ahead of Lac De Constance.

BELLE THE LIONESS made a successful start under Rules in a Cork bumper on testing ground and was placed twice over hurdles last season, including behind Liberty Dance in a Listed race at Thurles before taking a maiden at the same venue. The Henry de Bromhead-trained daughter of Soldier Of Fortune made little impression in the Grade 2 Mares' Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival but this looks a nice opportunity on her reappearance. The Gordon Elliott-trained pair Faux Fur and Sea Aster have both won maidens on soft ground at Tramore. The latter was subsequently second in a mares' handicap at Listowel, but needs to bounce back after racing too keenly at Punchestown last time. Ms Agartha Yeats caused a 50/1 shock in a maiden hurdle on this card 12 months ago, but was absent until disappointing at Punchestown recently.

BELLE THE LIONESS was underwhelming at in the Dawn Run at Cheltenham 7 months ago but she has the best form and a tongue strap should help, so she's likely to make a winning return. Faux Fur is open to improvement and Sea Aster isn't without hope.

15:29 Wincanton Handicap Chase (Class 3) 27f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

KILLER KANE was far from disgraced in premier handicaps at Aintree and Kempton following his victory at the latter venue in early February. Joe Tizzard's charge should appreciate the return to class 3 company and he is fancied to make his seasonal return a winning one. Moroder finishing a fine second in the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown after winning the Grimthorpe at Doncaster and shouldn't be far away if running to a similar level, with last-time-out course winner Switch Hitter completing the shortlist.

MORODER finished last season in fine heart, winning the Grimthorpe Chase before finding only a well-in rival too good in the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown, so looks as if he'll take plenty of beating if picking up where he left off. Switch Hitter remains unexposed as a handicap chaser and is also of interest, whilst Killer Kane was thriving late last season and is another player if proving as good over this extended trip.

SEARCH FOR GLORY has found a soft touch on his reappearance and should take all the beating. A point-to-point and bumper winner, he was Grade 3-placed - when beaten just a length and a half at Clonmel in February - and while outclassed at Cheltenham and Aintree, drops markedly in class and should win easily. Alvarez Eclipse has also won a point-to-point and ran fine in a Cork maiden hurdle in July. He is race-fit following a recent point-to-point - when exiting at the last - and might fill second place. Another point scorer Magic Sadler was well held in an April winners-of-two point-to-point, while Reversal should improve from last month's debut. El Phenomeno has a useful French pedigree.

A gilt-edged opportunity for SEARCH FOR GLORY, who was contesting graded events earlier in the year and Gordon Elliott's 6-y-o won't get a better opportunity to open his account over hurdles. Alvarez Eclipse and newcomer El Phenomeno can battle out the forecast spot.

Placed in a Grade 3 event and given a shot at two Grade 1 races, SEARCH FOR GLORY faces a straightforward task on his seasonal debut.

15:45 Aintree Handicap Chase (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Pembroke made a solid beginning to his fencing career when runner-up at Uttoxeter and he is entitled to come on from that display. That said, he has to give 11lb and upwards to his rivals, some of which have the potential to improve a lot in this sphere, and the vote goes to CHAPEL GREEN. The six-year-old got off the mark on his chasing debut at Hexham when proving too strong for General Officer and he is expected to take another step forward. Master Chewy didn't get his head in front over hurdles, but he threatened to develop into a smart performer in the early part of last season and fences might help to unlock his potential.

Useful over hurdles, PEMBROKE is built for chasing and made an encouraging start over fences when runner-up at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago, travelling best through the race. He can take a step forward from that experience to go one better, while General Officer is also open to progress and can reverse the form with Chapel Green from when the pair met last time.

This small but intriguing field may be led home by CHAPEL GREEN who appears to have scope for significant further progress.

15:55 Wexford Handicap Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

VINTAGE GOLD looked like he was staying on into contention at Listowel last month when falling at the final flight (usual two out). The Highland Reel gelding had won on his previous outing at Killarney in late August and, off the same mark as last time, there looks to be another race in him. Chapel Street gained a hard-fought victory here a fortnight ago and has to be respected off a 6lb higher mark. Tomjackwilliam was a winner when last seen at Limerick over Christmas and if he strips fit, he could be a big player on his return. He opened his account in good style then after a couple of placed efforts and could still be on a nice mark, despite a 7lb rise.

CHAPEL STREET only needed to be pushed out to resume winning ways at Cork a fortnight ago and he might be able to defy a 6 lb rise. The veteran Mick Charlie showed he retains plenty of ability when striking at the third time of asking back from a long absence at Fairyhouse and backed that up at Sligo on Friday, so is second choice ahead of Tomjackwilliam, who should have more to offer this season but has peak fitness to prove having been off for 10 months. Vintage Gold completes the shortlist.

ARTHOR has come down to a good mark and he may show more back in handicap company this time

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Now two from two in cheekpieces and under Olive Nicholls having won comfortably at Kempton last weekend, a 7lb penalty might not be enough to stop the Paul Nicholls-trained OSCARS MOONSHINE. He is preferred to Bashers Reflection, who bids for a hat-trick after a double in the spring and should go well if he's fully wound up for his return. Balko Saint and Seignor Gringo are others to consider.

A big field but it's hard to ignore the claims of OSCARS MOONSHINE, who had more to spare than the bare margin would indicate at Kempton last week and Paul Nicholls' 8-y-o is fancied to bring up the hat-trick and remain unbeaten when partnered by his daughter Olive. Balko Saint makes his seasonal return from a much-reduced mark back over timber, so he's put forward as the main threat, ahead of Mikhailovich, who was an impressive winner at Huntingdon on return earlier this month.

Preference is for BASHERS REFLECTION who has more wins in him given the authority with which he obliged on his last two runs last term.

LTO Selection:

16:10 Galway Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BARNACULLIA is race-fit, ground-versatile and reverts from fences rated 17lb lower in this sphere. Progressive, he ran well in a useful Listowel chase last month and while well enough held on his previous hurdles run in January, remains a little unexposed from his mark. El Champo is also progressive and while he won here recently, steps up to a stronger handicap rated 7lb higher and with his rider claiming 2lb less. Canal End looks much better than his 123 rating but is probably best watched on reappearance, as he would also prefer a longer distance. Maidenstreetprince was no match for Gaelic Warrior in January and reappears after a long layoff, while stablemate and owner-ridden Cafe Con Leche has been running recently in claimers. Ted Hastings would prefer good ground, while Hey Johnny was well held on his latest runs and makes his seasonal reappearance. Ladybank dead-heated with Princess Zoe in January and debuts in handicaps, dropping down in grade.

MAIDENSTREETPRINCE looks on a workable mark for this handicap debut and can strike on reappearance, with confidence in his chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Canal End is another lightly-raced sort who should have more to come in handicaps this season and is second choice ahead of Barnacullia, who has improved when runner-up over fences here and at Listowel in recent months and has a lower mark back hurdling.

The one to be on could well be BARNACULLIA(nap), after winning on the Flat and finishing a good second over fences at Listowel

16:20 Aintree NH Flat Race (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Sweet Honey B won a point-to-point over 2m and the daughter of Getaway, who is related to plenty of useful performers, commands a fair amount of respect on her Rules debut. Coco Brave and Tellitasitis are others who boast smart pedigrees and represent yards that have a fine record in this sphere, but JUST A MEMORY makes the most appeal. Warren Greatrex won this contest with La Bague Au Roi back in 2015 and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Lambourn handler unleash another potentially smart recruit.

LADY JAGO was successful on her only start between the flags and makes plenty of appeal now switched to Rules. Fellow point winner Lady In The Park is an obvious threat and Betty's Tiara is a player if taking her chance.

Most of the runners are newcomers or rules debutantes. LADY JAGO is the suggestion, ahead of Lady In The Park.

LTO Selection:

16:28 Wexford NH Flat Race 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

This doesn't look like the strongest bumper and PALLAS ATHENE probably won't be a big price to make a winning 'track' debut. The daughter of Milan scored on her sole point-to-point outing at Lisronagh in March, running out an impressive six-and-a-half-length winner. She was bought at the sales for 125,000 pounds after that success. Ah Fuhgeddaboudit has been placed three times in bumpers and she could be the one to give the selection most to do. Barrow Princess is an interesting newcomer and one to note in the market. The Shirocco mare is a half-sister to four winners.

PALLAS ATHENE cost six figures on the back of a point win and should be able to go in again starting out in a thin race. Global Brief and Imperial Fox should both step forward from low-key debuts, but they're both relying on the selection disappointing.

Flash Gorcombe

3/1(-20%)
(5) Flash Gorcombe 3/1, Confirmed the promise of his chase debut at the second attempt when winning Taunton handicap in March. Scored again at this C&D the following month and continued in good heart when runner-up at Ludlow in May. Enters calculations.
Progressive in the spring; big chance if returning on song after his summer break.
(6) William Ewart (4/1 +11%)
William Ewart

4/1(+11%)
(6) William Ewart 4/1, Much more like it switched to handicaps over hurdles, getting off the mark in convincing fashion at Bangor (23f) in March. Has yet to match that form in 2 starts over fences, though shaped as if needing the run at Bangor earlier this month. Remains with potential.
His good runs over hurdles last term were over 2m7f and 3m2f; beaten 30l in two chases.
(4) Ballymagee (5/2 +17%)
Ballymagee

5/2(+17%)
(4) Ballymagee 5/2, Modest form at best over hurdles but, on his second start for his current yard, showed more than on his previous 2 outings over fences when third in handicap at Ffos Las 2 weeks ago, despite a bad mistake 4 out. Leading contender.
Mostly modest under rules but third of seven at Ffos Las (2m) last time gives him a squeak.
(3) Boston Joe (7/2 +30%)
Boston Joe

7/2(+30%)
(3) Boston Joe 7/2, Showed improved form switched to handicap chases in 2022, recording back-to-back wins at Ffos Las in May. However, below form on his subsequent 3 outings, having issues with his jumping, so he has a bit to prove after 14 months off.
Not seen since out of form in August 2022 but he's well handicapped if returning on song.
(1) Princess Midnight (13/2 +0%)
Princess Midnight

13/2(+0%)
(1) Princess Midnight 13/2, Front runner who won 3 times over fences in 2022 and just as good when runner-up on first 2 outings this season. After a spin over hurdles, jumped markedly right at Fontwell last time, though is usually a sound jumper so could get back on track.
This should be a competitive mark but a note of caution has been sounded recently.
(2) Fanzio (40/1 +0%)
Fanzio

40/1(+0%)
(2) Fanzio 40/1, Ended time with Richard Hobson with success at Taunton in March but form has gone the wrong way for his current yard, faring no better after 11 weeks off (had a wind op) when pulled up last time. Best watched.
Badly out of sorts on last six starts; had wind surgery before latest.
LTO Selection:

16:34 Wincanton Handicap Chase (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Consistency might hold the key to this contest and with that in mind, preference is for FLASH GORCOMBE. Robert Walford's charge hit the woodwork as he went in search of a hat-trick at Ludlow last time but, against some largely out-of-form rivals, a similar effort might suffice. William Ewart takes a significant drop in trip and might fare better now eased 3lb in the ratings, while Ballymagee completes the shortlist.

BALLYMAGEE left the impression he should have finished closer when third at Ffos Las a fortnight ago, in the lead when making a bad mistake 4 out, so he can build on that to open his account. Flash Gorcombe showed improved form switched to chasing last season and is feared most, ahead of William Ewart.

This probably depends on the readiness of FLASH GORCOMBE who makes easily most appeal on his progressive performances in the spring.

LTO Selection:

16:40 Galway NH Flat Race 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

FIELD A THISTLES made a promising debut when fourth in the Tattersalls Ireland Sales Bumper at Fairyhouse last Easter and the form of that race has worked out particularly well. The valuable contest was won by exciting prospect Brighterdaysahead, while Field A Thistles also had a couple of recent winners in behind then, in Williethebuilder and Dee Capo. Glens Lullaby made a promising debut when third at Tipperary at the start of the month and if she builds on that, she could be the danger. Rachel's Secret ran a big race, at a big price, when second in a Tramore maiden hurdle on her 'track' debut and the Yeats filly is another who has to be on the shortlist.

RACHEL'S SECRET was runner-up in a point and showed plenty when filling the same position in a novice hurdle at Trramore 17 days ago, so she's taken to go one better at the likely expense of Field A Thistle, who shaped well on debut. Colleen Danu is another one to consider.

Some attractive pedigrees on view here, and several runners have shown ability, none more so than Fairyhouse fourth FIELD A THISTLES
