SEED YA LATER built on a promising debut second over C&D to break her maiden tag in game fashion at Musselburgh next time. The Ed Greatrex-trained filly is heading in the right direction and can progress once more to double her tally. Jolly Good Fellows also displayed a willing attitude when making all over track and trip recently and she must be taken seriously. Sovereign Glory is the pick of the remainder.

Cotai Glory colt SOVEREIGN GLORY was quite short in the betting when third here two weeks ago despite clear signs of inexperience.

LOVERS LEAP showed more when third over an extended mile here last month and the daughter of Lope De Vega sets the standard on that evidence. The withdrawal of initial selection Food For Thought leaves the door wide open for LOVERS LEAP.

(1) Queensbury Boy 4/6, Jumped poorly, made too much use of comfortably held in a handicap chase at Kelso last time; off a short-break; effective 2 1/2m; fair mark on hurdle form, jumping a slight issue.
Good second at Windsor in January & has had wind op since below-par run on heavy at Kelso.
LTO Selection:hiden content,

QUEENSBURY BOY has an edge in terms of chasing experience and, having had a wind problem addressed since he was last seen, this could be an ideal engagement for the seven-year-old to gain a confidence booster. Court In A Storm won over hurdles here in April of last year and should have ground conditions to suit for his chasing debut. He gets plenty of weight and has a feasible chance of exploiting any weakness shown if he adapts to the larger obstacles.

Queensbury Boy has some good chase form but COURT IN A STORM could improve for fences and gets the nod.

CANDY WARHOL swaps cheekpieces for blinkers and looks worth another shot. Although yet to win on turf, the seven-year-old has posted some respectable efforts in defeat on grass previously. If the change in headgear can eke out a bit more, this prominent racer could be tough to reel in. The Feminine Urge is back on a competitive rating and is a strong contender on these terms. Hidden Verse and Under Curfew have each-way credentials.

Provided he's effective in the new blinkers then the in-form CANDY WARHOL should make a bold bid from the front.

The Fahey yard won this three years on the spin from 2022-2024 and NAVY LIGHT can provide them with yet more success. The Supremacy colt made a pleasing introduction at Ripon and although he lacked a change of gear, the youngster can put the experience to good use. Anchiano fetched 110,000gns at the Craven Breeze-Ups last month and must be respected ahead of his debut. Mr Darling appeals most of the remainder.

Six-figure breeze-up purchase ANCHIANO is a likely type. Navy Light sets the form standard.

Returned from break to finish 3rd at Plumpton; this front-runner could be tough to reel in.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content,

DELPOTRO readily has the most convincing form profile and his reliability earns him a confident vote. The Charlie Longsdon-trained gelding has C&D experience, winning form on the forecast going, and has already won twice when Sean Bowen has been in the saddle. Given that Quick Sharpener has a number of failed completions on his recent record, Beep Beep Becky is suggested for the forecast slot, with a first-time tongue-tie a potential source of improvement.

The well-treated QUICK SHARPENER returns from a break with his new trainer in good form, and is taken to bounce back to form with a win.

QUEEN SANA switched to turf with an encouraging second at Windsor last week and could be well placed to go one better if able to take another step forward. In The City and Noble Vow are closely matched according to the official ratings and can make sure this goes down to the wire. The former has been the more consistent of that pair, though, and might be the biggest threat to the selection.

It was a Class 5 handicap in which QUEEN SANA nearly prevailed last week but this is by no means a good maiden.

Merlier has the edge on official ratings, but he was well beaten on his sole turf start and it might be that ARTISTA offers some value. The Caravaggio filly had Saucy Jane a few lengths in arrears at Bath latest and despite being 6lb worse off with that rival, she can confirm her superiority. Newcomer Tide Runner wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary and is worth a market check.

Provided she takes well to the headgear, ARTISTA could well record another success on this card. Saucy Jane is second pick.

Course winner BOBBY DASSLER outran his odds of 80/1 when taking the silver medal home over track and trip recently and remains unexposed over this trip. With a similar display, Barry Murphy's charge will prove a tough nut to crack. Hibernate returned to winning ways over 1m1f at Yarmouth on his most recent start and should mount another bold bid, despite having a 4lb higher rating to contend with. Electric Bass can chase the pair home ahead of Raintown.

This is trappy as all four arrive here on the back of positive performances. ELECTRIC BASS ran right up to his best two weeks ago.

Glory Hyde remains on a fair mark having resumed winning ways at Wetherby. That looks stronger form than Miss Brazen's recent success at Nottingham, but it could be the turn of SHERLOCK once again. Kevin Ryan's four-year-old won over 5f at Newcastle in February and, having finished a creditable second over 6f at Thirsk last month, is taken to open his account on turf back over the minimum trip.

Preference is for I AM SPIDER MAN, who was a clear second over hurdles at Newton Abbot last Wednesday. Catwalk Girl is a danger.

Dual C&D winner Racing Demon returns to action from a competitive mark and needs considering, but KONDRATIEV WAVE makes the most appeal. A winner on eight occasions throughout his career so far, the nine-year-old finished three lengths clear of the third when second at Southwell and can go one better from just 1lb higher. Havana Club produced a better display when touched off over track and trip latest and is another to keep a close eye on.

The two against the field are MY AMBITION (nap) and Thapa Vc, both of whom run this track well.

Second on his introduction at Gowran Park last month, ALPHONSUS LIGUORI can open his account. Prominent throughout, the Joseph O'Brien-trained colt made a short-priced stablemate work hard before eventually losing out by a head. With the winner of that race having franked the form at Naas on Saturday, it will take a smart performance to prevent the Study Of Man colt from going one better. Having stayed on well when runner-up over 7f at Limerick on his debut, Dark Leader should appreciate this stiffer test. Although the bare form of that contest doesn't look particularly strong, the Fozzy Stack-trained gelding showed definite promise. Navan fourth Mergus Serrator may prefer further, but the extended mile here should help.

With the benefit of a promising debut behind a stablemate, ALPHONSUS LIGUORI looks good enough to win a maiden of this standard

Dual C&D winner ARC ZOOSVE will likely prove a popular choice. Well placed by Neil King to land a hat-trick, he returns to this lower level only 2lb higher than his latest success at Goodwood, and the progressive son of Time Test could prove tough to beat. Chelmsford winner An Bradan Feasa is effectively 3lb lower than for November's Chelmsford win when taking Alice Bond's claim into account, while Mio Amico returns to Polytrack and could bounce back.

The likeable ARC ZOOSVE is proving a great advert for Neil King and can defy a 2lb rise for his Goodwood win and notch a four-timer.

A well-bred son of Blue Point, FIRST ASCENT was acquired from Godolphin by Matt Smith and showed plenty of ability on the Flat last year. He was placed in a couple of good-ground maidens at Down Royal, which were won by useful types, and was found to be lame when pulled up on his debut for Gordon Elliott in a Roscommon hurdle in September. Given plenty of time to recover from that setback, he can take this under Josh Williamson. Hey Now ran well in a bumper and the form of his hurdling debut fifth at Clonmel is working out well. Useful if frustrating on the Flat, Game Point is another to note on his switch to jumping.

Preference is for useful Flat performer FIRST ASCENT who didn't get a chance to show what he could do over hurdles when lame on debut

The daughter of Camelot filled the runner-up berth on her introduction at the Curragh in early April, before stepping forward to get off the mark at Naas 15 days ago. While the form of the latter race has yet to be tested, her debut run was subsequently franked by the third horse. Holding entries in both the Irish Oaks and Pretty Polly Stakes, the filly is clearly well regarded. Mighty Danu won her maiden at Galway last August and was far from disgraced in a Listed race at Leopardstown the following month. With the Gavin Cromwell stable in much better form, the daughter of Coulsty has to be of interest. Dundalk maiden winner Mo Mhuirin also commands respect.

Naas winner GLYFADA could be vulnerable over a shorter trip, but she holds Group 1 entries and may prove equal to the task

ALWAYS HAPPY is taken to defy a penalty. The Coolmore-owned filly made a winning debut at Southwell back in March, when readily pulling clear of a subsequent handicap winner, and Ryan Moore takes over on the Coronation Stakes entry. Runner-up over 7f on both starts last term, York Tower is a likely improver, while the 580,000-euros purchase Turret and Tropical Sands might prove best of the newcomers.

With the extra furlong expected to suit, YORK TOWER can get off the mark having finished runner-up in both starts late last year.

BROSNA QUEEN won a bumper last summer and can improve from her first completed start over hurdles at Fairyhouse. The daughter of Getaway lost ground at the start and was hampered by a faller, but was still on the heels of the leaders on the approach to the straight. Sonny Carey's charge weakened from that point on ground softer than ideal, but she can build on the run and this is a less competitive contest. On her latest two starts in August, Beir Bua won a bumper at Wexford and was second on hurdling debut at Kilbeggan. Lumiere Du Large went the wrong way for Willie Mullins last season and has switched to Gordon Elliott.

Little went right for fair bumper performer BROSNA QUEEN at Fairyhouse but the experience will stand to her and she'll like good ground

TREASURE ROSE can deservedly get off the mark. Placed on her final two starts last season, the Johnny Murtagh-trained filly met just one too good when beaten a length on her reappearance at Limerick last month. With an official rating of 76, the daughter of Inns Of Court sets the standard. Fourth at Dundalk in March, the Henry de Bromhead-trained Mystic Bella rates the main danger. The lightly-raced daughter of Frankel also boasts solid turf form having finished third on her racecourse debut at Gowran Park last July. Radient Man and Crosshaven have to be respected given their trainer's record at Killarney.

Runner-up on four occasions, including at Limerick on her seasonal debut, TREASURE ROSE (nap) can make her experience count here

Eskimo Pie boasts an official rating of 87 and sets the standard. However, she has to be forgiven a poor effort in novice company at Nottingham last time and BRIGHT SUMMER is preferred. Hatour, Thursday Girl and Music Academy are all worth a second look.

Andrew Balding's Dark Angel filly BRIGHT SUMMER can build on a promising debut at Newbury (form franked) and open her account.

A competitive contest with several unexposed types and BLUE MOON BOY looks interesting on his handicap debut. A dual winner on the Flat last year, he holds a mark of 73 in that sphere and an initial hurdles rating of 93 may prove to be lenient. After his win over 1m3f at Killarney in October, trainer Andrew Kinirons reported that he had already done plenty of schooling and he can leave behind his winter maiden form on this better ground. Now tried in cheekpieces, Centaq represents a resurgent stable and was runner-up for a third time in handicaps at Kilbeggan last month. Twice a winner over fences, Lakefield Flyer has a 15lb lower hurdles mark and runs well fresh.

Dual Flat winner BLUE MOON BOY was reported to have done plenty of schooling even as a three-year-old, and could be well treated

Having overturned an odds-on favourite at Ballinrobe on Friday, TERO D'ROSA can follow up under a penalty. A relatively lightly-raced son of Galileo Chrome, the Ross O'Sullivan-trained gelding had shown promise on a couple of occasions before putting it all together last time. Almost certainly open to further improvement, the four-year-old looks the one to beat, despite the obvious concern of a wide draw. In hindsight, Can I Kiss You faced a difficult task when second to a handicap blot at Gowran Park recently. If coming on from that first run since October, the Kodi Bear filly is entitled to be involved. C&D winner Nibras Rainbow also warrants attention now back with trainer Paul Flynn.

The unexposed CHIPSRDOWN made good late headway on his handicap debut at Leopardstown and he's now raised in distance.

The money was down when GREY FORCE was backed into favouritism on his handicap debut at Doncaster 10 days ago. That was his first try on turf and he can be expected to be wiser for the experience. Similar support in the betting could be rewarded this time. Conversely, Slack Bob was underestimated in the market when he finish second at Yarmouth. That was a big improvement on past form and he too looks a key player. Miss Starlet and Lovethiswayagain complete the shortlist.

This looks a good opportunity for SLACK BOB (nap) who has already shown plenty of ability and should be suited by the return to 7f.

Gordon Elliott has found a weak contest for SPECULATEUR and it will be a major surprise if the five-year-old doesn't avail of this opportunity. The No Risk At All gelding has been placed on all five starts over hurdles and drops in class here. He was taken out at Downpatrick on Friday due to a stone bruise, but it was clearly nothing serious and he can score for odds-on backers. The Great Deceiver, whose trainer had a winner at Cork on Sunday, cost 70,000 euros as a three-year-old and is out of an unraced sister to Big Buck's. Red Or White was second in a maiden here last summer and has place claims again.

A very modest race and it looks a golden opportunity for SPECULATEUR to finally shed the maiden tag over hurdles

Second in a maiden at this track in October, HONOURAMONGTHIEVES can go one better now. He stayed on late to chase home a subsequent winner and the Kevin Coleman-trained gelding gave the impression that he would be suited to this step up in trip. Sure to be all the better for two subsequent runs this term, he has almost certainly been aimed at this particular meeting for some time. It's also encouraging that Colin Keane, who was on board the Twilight Son gelding in that aforementioned maiden, takes the ride again. Dundalk runner-up Musashi is an obvious contender in first-time blinkers, while jockey bookings suggest that Gatlinburg is the pick of the Donnacha O'Brien quartet.

Having shown nothing at two, MUSASHI has something to build on after a Dundalk second that gives him an edge over Cameclose

Buy The Dip won over C&D 12 days ago but his bid to follow up could be scuppered by the combination of a rise in class and a 7lb higher mark. STUDIOUS goes the other way and has a more appealing chance stepping down two grades after a gutsy win over this trip at Southwell. This is only his fourth try on Polytrack and, with cheekpieces added, this could be a good bit of placement. Frostmagic, Metallo and the unexposed Zatsgood are others to monitor in the betting.

The class-dropping METALLO is usually seen over further, but he may find this race is run to suit him.

LADIAM has gained both previous wins over C&D and should go close if near peak fitness on her return after a lengthy winter break. The Norman Lee-trained mare has been generally consistent since including when runner-up at Ballinrobe. Ilbdare has also shown a liking for this venue and gained his only previous win when justifying strong support over an extended 3m1f on this corresponding card last year. It will be interesting to see if the market speaks in his favour returning after a break. Button Rock now wears blinkers after disappointing on handicap debut, while Darragh O'Keeffe is a notable booking on Mother Ship.

LOVE LIKE THIS has yet to run a poor race at this venue and is 10lb lower than when beaten 0.5l over C&D on her last visit last June

HARRY'S LEGACY gets the vote. The C&D winner was absent for the best part of two years after scoring twice in 2022 and has been mainly campaigned over hurdles since joining Ross O'Sullivan last year. He made the frame on a rare Flat start over 2m at the Galway Festival last summer and put in another very encouraging effort when third at Gowran last month, with stablemate Slurricane over three lengths back in fourth. Factual Fact won a Thurles bumper in decisive fashion on debut back in 2023 but was absent until placed a number of times on the Flat last year and again shaped well on his reappearance at the Curragh in March. Wandering Rocks and Dark Note are others to consider.

A chance is taken on WINNING SMUT, who won a Listed hurdle at Galway last summer and he could be on a useful mark.

Inside Story ran better than her odds suggested she would when a respectable fifth over 6f at Kempton in March and is of interest on her first attempt at this distance. Barefoot Beach has found one too good the last twice, most recently on handicap debut at Southwell, and she is noted. However, BRISK SYMPHONY returned from a break to occupy the runner-up berth in this grade at Yarmouth and a similar display would make her hard to beat.

It may be worth siding with QUEUE DOS who should be better for last month's Wolverhampton return, the form of which has been boosted.

THE MIRACLE MAN was adding to a course win when successful over 3m at Fairyhouse last year. The selection has made the frame on his latest four starts including when third behind The Lovely Man at Gowran and may appreciate this sounder surface. Gerrys Wish is an obvious threat after going close twice over 3m last autumn, including when caught on the line at Galway, while Ballyglass Beauty's three victories for Liam Cusack include a C&D success. He joined Cian Collins earlier this year and went close when fitted with cheekpieces at Clonmel last month, while Evans Secret has been absent since a C&D win last July.

Gerrys Wish, The Miracle Man and BALLYGLASS BEAUTY (nap) are all players with preference for the latter who has a fitness edge

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

FARREN GLORY has been generally consistent since winning a Grade 1 novice hurdle back in 2023 and is an interesting contender switching to the Flat. The selection won his only bumper start in fine style and is well treated here at the weights. Sky Captain was successful on debut in a 1m4f Roscommon maiden last July and the following month beat all bar Taipan over this trip at the Galway Festival. He has scope for further improvement and hails from a yard in great form, while the Joseph O'Brien-trained pair of Defiantly and Kizlyar both need to bounce back after disappointing runs last time. Tim Toe is another to consider after winning at Bellewstown last month.

This is tricky, as is often the case with races of this nature. SKY CAPTAIN earns narrow preference on the strength of his last run.

The vote goes to VICTORS SPIRIT who has improved since handicapping on the AW with a hood enlisted.
