40/1(-122%) | (13) Let It Settle 40/1, Below form when comfortably held in a bumper at Catterick last time; in good form prior in bumpers; likely improver now hurdling. Two fair bumper runs on home soil, questions to answer after failing to count at Catterick. |

150/1(+25%) | (10) Young Mans Game 150/1, Modest debut effort when well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Limerick on only start; all to prove. Raced a bit too keenly and was done with three out on debut at Limerick, can be ruled out. |

15th (16) (33/1 -65%)Sylkie |
33/1(-65%) | (16) Sylkie 33/1, Ran to form when fourth beaten 4 1/4l in a handicap at Galway last time; showed useful form there on flat; hood first time; back from a short break and can get involved on hurdle debut. 16th (6) (125/1 +38%)Parkland |
125/1(+38%) | (6) Parkland 125/1, Made mistakes and finished down the field in a maiden hurdle at Limerick last time; hard to fancy. Placed twice on the Flat for Andrew Balding, has struggled in two maiden hurdle outings. |

THE REVEREND is a smart recruit from the Flat and represents powerful connections. The Lope De Vega gelding won four times for William Haggas on varying ground conditions and was last seen scoring over 1m6f at Haydock in September off a mark of 98. Dawn Coming was placed in a Curragh maiden for Jim Bolger and has made the frame on both starts over hurdles since joining Charles Byrnes including when third behind Bertutea at Limerick last week. Speculateur won a point-to-point in fine style last spring and now switches to hurdles after finishing fourth on his debut under Rules in a Punchestown bumper.

Having progressed to a three-figure Flat rating by winning his last two race William Haggas, THE REVEREND can keep up the good work

1st (2) (11/4 +63%)Tatateo |
11/4(+63%) | (2) Tatateo 11/4, Far too free in front when beaten 6 1/2l in a handicap hurdle at Leopardstown last time; had been in good form prior; effective around 10f on the Flat and 2m over hurdles, acts on good and all-weather; useful dual-purpose performer, mark looks stiff over hurdles. 6.5l behind Spinola Bay latest, better off at weights now, could get closer to that rival. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (10/1 +17%)Youneedabitofluck |
10/1(+17%) | (7) Youneedabitofluck 10/1, Improved when second, beaten 4l in a maiden hurdle at Tramore latest; effective over 2m, acts on soft; needs to back up that effort and may appreciate further in time. Much improved effort when a 4l second at Tramore in November, go well with a repeat. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (5/4 +55%)Spinola Bay |
5/4(+55%) | (3) Spinola Bay 5/4, Improved and out-battled the runner-up, getting first run on closers when winning a handicap hurdle at Leopardstown by a neck last time; effective 2m-2m5f, acts on any going; progressing well over hurdles. Back-to-back h'cap wins since return from layoff, big chance if this doesn't come too soon. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (13/2 +54%)Kamino Bello |
13/2(+54%) | (1) Kamino Bello 13/2, Needed the run and may have found the ground a bit soft when comfortably held in a novice hurdle at Fairyhouse last time; effective over 2m, acts on good; debut form looked weak. 2m2f maiden hurdle winner (good) rated 119, below best after break latest, ground a query. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (66/1 +0%)Under Cover |
66/1(+0%) | (5) Under Cover 66/1, Made a modest debut when well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Navan latest; effective over 2m; could improve for further with experience. Modest point form in 2023, soundly beaten in bumper and maiden hurdle, hard to fancy. |

SPINOLA BAY hails from a yard in great form and gets the vote to complete a hat-trick. The selection overcame a mistake at the last when successful at Navan and was again prominent throughout when landing a very competitive 18-runner handicap at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting with Tatateo back in mid-division. Youlita justified strong support in a Downpatrick maiden last May and it will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market here on reappearance. Zuzukel was just denied at Punchestown last time and is another to consider along with Youneedabitofluck.

SPINOLA BAY displayed a willing attitude to score at Leopardstown and he can complete the hat-trick if this doesn't come too soon

1st (7) (5/2 +58%)Rebel Budz |
5/2(+58%) | (7) Rebel Budz 5/2, Travelled strongly on a very promising debut, possibly hitting the front too soon when second, beaten 1½l, in a maiden hurdle at Thurles. Effective 2¾m and acts on good ground. A 3m point winner who should appreciate this step up in trip. Promise in a Listowel bumper and Thurles maiden hurdle, should be in the shake up again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (15/2 -7%)Frankie's Freebie |
15/2(-7%) | (3) Frankie's Freebie 15/2, Showed a very promising debut when third, beaten 12l, in a maiden hurdle at Punchestown. Effective over 2½m and a point winner; may have more to offer stepping up to 3m. Point winner, 6l behind Fillyoureye when third on latest, place shout again upped in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (5/6 +8%)Fillyoureye |
5/6(+8%) | (2) Fillyoureye 5/6, Ran to form when second, beaten 5½l, in a maiden hurdle at Punchestown last time. Effective 2–2½m and acts on any ground. Bumper form had knocks but hurdles debut form looks strong; tough to beat if building on that effort. Bumper winner, runner-up in both previous maiden hurdles, big chance upped in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (12/1 -33%)Kasanova's Dream |
12/1(-33%) | (5) Kasanova's Dream 12/1, Ran to form when 19l third in a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan last time. Effective over 2–2½m and acts on good ground. In form and should remain competitive over this longer trip. Third in both starts last April-May beaten 10.5l and 18.5l, Kennedy prefers stablemate. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (50/1 +0%)Ask The Bookie |
50/1(+0%) | (1) Ask The Bookie 50/1, Ran to form when comfortably held in a novice hurdle at Limerick last time. Effective over 2–2½m and acts on yielding or good ground. Needs to build on a recent revival but has been unreliable. 0-14, well beaten in a Limerick novice hurdle five days ago, other are more appealing. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (28/1 -100%)Kashchei |
28/1(-100%) | (6) Kashchei 28/1, Ran to form when comfortably held in a bumper at Kilbeggan last time. Consistent in bumpers and over hurdles. Returns from a break and could offer value on the balance of previous form. Promise in bumpers for Declan Queally, poor effort latest, new yard, check the market. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (10) (40/1 +39%)Dixies Girl |
40/1(+39%) | (10) Dixies Girl 40/1, Made mistakes but ran to form when finishing down the field in a maiden hurdle at Limerick last time. Effective at 3m and acts on good ground. In fair current form. Back from long layoff with 31l defeat at Limerick a week ago, much more needed. |

Having finished runner-up on both starts over hurdles to date, this looks a good opportunity for FILLYOUREYE to register a first success. A former Kilbeggan bumper winner, the Willie Mullins-trained gelding was sent off favourite when taking minor honours at Punchestown last month. Stepping up in trip here should suit the son of Leading Light. Point-to-point winner Rebel Budz went close on his hurdling debut at Thurles in October. The Paul O'Flynn-trained seven-year-old should be capable of building on that effort. Frankie's Freebie is next best.

Willie Mullins' FILLYOUREYE has finished second in both his maiden hurdles and he can make it third time lucky now stepped up in trip

1st (2) (11/10 +37%)Cousin Kate |
11/10(+37%) | (2) Cousin Kate 11/10, Ran to form when landing a handicap by 4½l off an 8lb lower mark at Limerick last time. Effective from 2m to 2m4f and handles cut in the ground; an improving type. Won at Limerick 8 days, ago, rider's claim negates most of 8lb hike, leading claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (3/1 +57%)Catchabird |
3/1(+57%) | (7) Catchabird 3/1, Ran to form when comfortably held in a Limerick handicap hurdle last time. Effective at 2m on ground with some cut; had been consistent and may do better over further in time. 0-9 over timers, 17.5l behind Cousin Kate last time, work to do to turn that form around. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (25/1 -56%)Kimy |
25/1(-56%) | (5) Kimy 25/1, Fell early in a handicap hurdle at Leopardstown last time. Effective at 2m on good ground but currently out of form. Fell on seasonal return, has slipped to dangerous mark but others arrive in better form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (10/1 -25%)Missus Beeton |
10/1(-25%) | (6) Missus Beeton 10/1, May have found the ground a touch soft when finishing down the field in a Tramore handicap hurdle last time. Effective at around 2½m on good ground; had been consistent prior to that run. Progressed well last season, soft not ideal on seasonal return, best form on good ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (8) (9/2 +36%)Grace Faraday |
9/2(+36%) | (8) Grace Faraday 9/2, Won by a head off a 3lb lower mark at Galway two starts ago and flattened out on more testing ground when fourth, beaten 23l off 94 last time. Cheekpieces on for the first time; effective from 2m6f to 3m; remains on a workable mark. Won 0-100 at Galway on penultimate, beaten off revised mark latest, cheekpieces on. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (40/1 -150%)Jumping Susie |
40/1(-150%) | (3) Jumping Susie 40/1, Finished down the field in a handicap chase at Thurles last time after a poor run, didn't really take to that discipline. On a good mark on UK hurdle form but risky. 3-16 over hurdles, unsuccessful spell chasing, 7lb above last win, others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (17/2 -113%)Getaway Beo |
17/2(-113%) | (4) Getaway Beo 17/2, Outpaced and well held in a Grade 3 mares' novice hurdle at Down Royal last time. The top jockey returns; off a short break. Effective at 2m and bred to improve for further for a leading yard now handicapping. Tipperary maiden winner, outclassed latest, up in trip for h'cap bow, can't discount. |

Recent Limerick scorer COUSIN KATE can follow up for in-form trainer Denis Hogan. Although raised 8lb for that latest success, the daughter of Maxios has most of that burden offset by a very capable claimer. A well-bred five-year-old mare, she has really come into her own in recent times and it would be no surprise to see her continue on an upward curve. Getaway Beo made an impressive racecourse debut when easily winning at Tipperary in October. The Gordon Elliott-trained six-year-old almost certainly failed to give her true running when tailed off in a Grade 3 at Down Royal latest. Cast A Spell also holds claims.

It's hard to get away from the claims of Limerick winner COUSIN KATE (nap) with her rider's claim negating most of an 8lb rise

1st (8) (12/1 +33%)Way Down South |
12/1(+33%) | (8) Way Down South 12/1, Made mistakes and ran below form when well beaten in a handicap chase at Limerick last time; cheekpieces on for the first time; effective at 2½m with cut; looks flattered by earlier spring hurdle form. Not badly treated by the race conditions but hard to make a strong case after Limerick run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (9/2 +10%)Snow Punt |
9/2(+10%) | (6) Snow Punt 9/2, Ran to form when needing the run, finishing 5l third in a handicap chase at Tramore last time; effective at 2½m and acts on any ground; should come on for that run and remains in good form over fences. Third in a Tramore handicap in November, will not need to improve much to be involved here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (13/2 -18%)Live To Laugh |
13/2(-18%) | (3) Live To Laugh 13/2, Ran to form but was comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Thurles last time; effective over 2 1/2m, acts with cut; has a bit to find switched to fences. Placed in three of his last four races over hurdles, not one of his better runs on latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (10) (11/1 +45%)Coillte M C G |
11/1(+45%) | (10) Coillte M C G 11/1, Ran to form when comfortably held in a maiden hurdle here last time; returning from a short break and needs to improve for switch to chasing. Rated 95 after five runs over hurdles, rider's 7lb claim is a significant asset. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (9) (9/1 -38%)Kellys Corner |
9/1(-38%) | (9) Kellys Corner 9/1, Ran to form when 9l third in a maiden hurdle at Naas last time; step up in trip should suit on chase debut; acts with cut; the pick on balance of form with promise of more to come. Third in a 16-runner contest at Navan, less exposed than many of these, worth considering. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (4/1 0%)Lecale's Diamond |
4/1(0%) | (2) Lecale's Diamond 4/1, Improved on hurdle form when stepped up in trip, finishing 10l third in a beginners' chase at Tramore last time; effective at 2m5f and acts on soft; more to come over fences for a top yard. Fair third of eight behind Aclass and today's rival Mount Shenshan at Tramore, can improve. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (11) (8/1 -100%)Mount Shenshan |
8/1(-100%) | (11) Mount Shenshan 8/1, Had too much to do when comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse last time; effective at 2½m and acts on soft and good; returning to form of late and has experience edge; can get involved. Twice placed over fences, not certain to uphold Tramore form with Lecale's Diamond. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (7) (33/1 -83%)Walk Away Harry |
33/1(-83%) | (7) Walk Away Harry 33/1, Needed the run when finishing down the field in a handicap hurdle at Naas last time; open to marked improvement now chasing but needs to prove ability remains after lay off Bumper winner; overall hurdles form has been disappointing, no chasing experience. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (12) (125/1 -56%)Park Rules |
125/1(-56%) | (12) Park Rules 125/1, Outpaced and unsuited by the drop in trip when finishing down the field in a handicap hurdle at Thurles last time; returning from a short break and needs to improve considerably. Not in the first ten in four handicap hurdles off lowly marks, huge task on chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (5) (11/2 +31%)Rowdy |
11/2(+31%) | (5) Rowdy 11/2, Did too much early and was well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Limerick last time; consistent in that sphere; could show improvement switched to chasing. Went very close in a handicap hurdle here early last month, disappointing run last Monday. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (100/1 -52%)Mistyburn |
100/1(-52%) | (4) Mistyburn 100/1, Outpaced and never threatened when finishing down the field in a maiden hurdle at Thurles most recently; usually held up; inconsistent over hurdles and needs to find more now chasing. Point winner on good ground last May, limited encouragement from his maiden hurdle form. |

Recent Tramore third SNOW PUNT can make the breakthrough under Rules. A former point-to-point winner, the Brendan Walsh-trained gelding was placed twice over hurdles in 2024 and comes into this race fresher than most. Coillte M C G is an interesting contender under a very decent conditional rider. Runner-up in a point-to-point, the daughter of Yeats shaped well on a few occasions over hurdles earlier this season. Mount Shenshan is another to bear in mind.

Several have the sort of credentials needed to win a race of this sort, and perhaps SNOW PUNT can build on an encouraging Tramore run

7/2(+75%) | (7) Milan Forth 7/2, Pulled up in a handicap chase at Thurles last time; effective around 2 1/2m, acts on soft and good; fair mark on hunter form but this may prove too sharp. Useful hunter chase form, flopped when well fancied for a Thurles handicap two week ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (9) (5/1 +69%)Battle Of Mirbat |
5/1(+69%) | (9) Battle Of Mirbat 5/1, Scored by 4 1/2l off a 7lb lower mark at Down Royal three starts back; made too much use of on ground more testing than ideal when pulled up in a handicap chase last time; effective around 3m, suited by good ground, acts on soft; back in form until latest with excuses. Went up 8lb for a November win, blotted his record in a Navan race won by Soloman Lane. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (11/4 +73%)Beggars Rock |
11/4(+73%) | (6) Beggars Rock 11/4, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Galway last time; cheekpieces applied for the first time; significant jockey booking; fair mark on spring form but unreliable. Jumped badly in a hurdle race on his last run, first outing for stable in brilliant form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (4/1 +67%)Midnight Our Fred |
4/1(+67%) | (1) Midnight Our Fred 4/1, Pulled up in the Paddy Power Handicap Chase (Listed) at Leopardstown last time; effective around 2 1/2-3m, best on a sound surface; needs to bounce back. Quick reappearance after failure in a big handicap in which he was second last year. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (13) (11/2 +78%)Cahirdown Boy |
11/2(+78%) | (13) Cahirdown Boy 11/2, Ran to form when fourth, beaten 7 1/4l, in a handicap hurdle at Limerick last time; off a short break; effective around 2 1/2m, suited by plenty of give; should come on plenty for that run and could be running into form. Ran only once over fences in 2025, fair hurdles run lat time, 1-17 chase record a negative. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (11) (13/2 +68%)Cheerful Chap |
13/2(+68%) | (11) Cheerful Chap 13/2, Pulled up in a handicap chase at Navan last time; consistent prior to that; effective 2-3m, acts with cut; remains a frustrating maiden over fences but dangerous if allowed to dictate. Three-time winner has become less reliable lately, pulled up behind Soloman Lane at Navan. |

BAL KAUTO's third place in a higher grade at Galway in October reads well after the runner-up took a valuable contest at Limerick over Christmas by 11 lengths. He is on a competitive mark with Michael Kenneally claiming 7lb. Al Kalila has had two runs in good handicap chases over further at Kelso where he finished second and third. It is notable that he won his maiden hurdle over an extended 2m4f at Ayr, so he ought to show up well. Soloman Lane held on by a head in Navan last month and a 4lb rise is far from insurmountable for the 11-year-old gelding, while Koori Star is a handicap debutant to note in the market.

If producing a display in keeping with his third behind Wodhooh in last year's Martin Pipe, RAGLAN ROAD will be hard to beat

6th (8) (16/1 +52%)Unquite Dreams |
16/1(+52%) | (8) Unquite Dreams 16/1, Yeats mare and half-sister to Farfromnowhere, a smart performer over 20f but yard not known for debut winners. Half-sister to a pair of bumper/hurdle winners Farfromnowhere and Came From Nowhere. |

7th (5) (150/1 -88%)Not Leaving Yet |
150/1(-88%) | (5) Not Leaving Yet 150/1, Never threatened when down the field in a mares' bumper at Thurles last time. Effective around 2½m but has shown little in either hurdles or bumpers. Well beaten in two maiden hurdles last June/July, no threat in two bumpers at Tramore.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (150/1 -127%)Dlightofdsun |
150/1(-127%) | (2) Dlightofdsun 150/1, Outpaced but finished well when well beaten in a Clonmel bumper on debut. Off a short break and effective over 2m on soft ground; should improve slightly with that initial experience. Noted making some late headway when sixth of ten at Clonmel, others are more appealing. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (9) (9/2 +63%)Kilbarry Alexy |
9/2(+63%) | (9) Kilbarry Alexy 9/2, Travelled keenly and flattened out up the hill after getting racing too early when third, beaten 7 1/4l, on debut in a Naas juvenile hurdle; promising effort and a fair value contender on balance of form. Picked up useful experience when third in an academy hurdle, rider booking is a positive. |

The major stables are represented by interesting types, but MOONVERRIN ran a lovely race in second on debut at Fairyhouse and could go one better. She was caught in the closing stages by a rival that surged home and did very little wrong. Henry de Bromhead's newcomer Mary O'g is a half-sister to top-class chaser Gerri Colombe, so has to be monitored in the market. Willie Mullins takes the wraps off Workforce mare Owning Flower, who landed a point-to-point last March. That contest is working out well and she is a big player. Poetic Twist starts out for the very in-form Gordon Elliott and she ought to be in the midst of the action.

Going against the Mullins and Elliott runners here is a little risky but MOONVERRIN showed plenty of promise on debut and may prevail
Ths is the racecard key.
