Things didn't go right for MICK COLLINS when sixth on his first try over flights at this venue in October. Slipping badly on a bend in the early stages of that contest, he was later found to have burst blood vessels. Subsequently successful on the level at Bellewstown, it'll come as no surprise if he manages to follow up now. Flat recruit Killeaney Bear is of definite interest on his hurdles debut. Successful three times last year, he should be able to make an impact in a race of this quality. Fourth and fifth in a similar contest here on Easter Sunday, Yosemite Gold and Tassarolo both have solid claims, while others who warrant respect in this open affair are Let's Go Mans, who is a half-brother to Grade 2 winner Coquin Mans, course fifth Los Toldos and Gordon Elliott's Sixtripleeight.

The vote goes to SIXTRIPLEEIGHT, who was midfield in a good maiden here when last seen and he should improve with racing

11/8(+39%) | (1) Black Heather 11/8, Raced freely 1/2l third in a maiden over 12f at Bellewstown most recent run; impressive hurdle debut winner prior; versatile ground wise; up in trip; the one to beat Readily won Naas maiden hurdle last month; unlucky on the Flat two days later; big player. |

BLACK HEATHER was an impressive winner on his debut over flights at Naas last month. Turned out again quickly and narrowly beaten into third on the level at Bellewstown, he since switched to Gavin Cromwell and will now carry the colours of Alymer Stud. The hat-trick seeking Party President will again be ridden by Adam Leahy, who claims a valuable 7lb. The pair have struck up a successful partnership, winning at Naas and Clonmel. Chortal and Allo Al Khawaneej both warrant respect after winning at Bellewstown and Kilbeggan. The Gordon Elliott-trained former was an easy winner at the Co Meath venue and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to follow up. Pulled up early at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday, but subsequently found to be 'post-race normal', the locally-trained King In Love is another leading hope.

Allo Al Khawaneej was clear of FOLLOWING ORDERS when the pair met at Kilbeggan, but the latter is fancied to reverse that form

|PU| (12) (250/1 -67%)Merrywick Lady |
250/1(-67%) | (12) Merrywick Lady 250/1, No worthwhile form in points; returning from long layoff; back in trip; hard to fancy on hurdle debut Pulled up in all three point starts; first run for new stable; impossible to recommend. |

Hurdling debutants DIPPEDINMOONLIGHT and Cameletta Vega were third and seventh in a Listed bumper at Gowran in October, with the Emmet Mullins-trained former taken to uphold the form. Sold for 130,000 euros after winning a point-to-point on debut, the Zarak five-year-old has been a model of consistency since. Out of the brilliant Quevega and a half-sister to two Grade 1 winners, Cameletta Vega is an obvious danger. Successful on debut at Galway last summer, she has been a bit disappointing since but could prove a different proposition over flights. Out of a Grade 3 winner, Emily Love certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn. A fine second on her first try over hurdles at Fairyhouse on Easter Sunday, it'll come as no surprise if she manages to go a place better.

With Emmet Mullins in red-hot form, DIPPEDINMOONLIGHT is fancied to overcome a 218-day absence and strike on hurdling bow

NEXT STOP PARIS is the suggestion in this wide-open contest. A faller when the subject of strong market support on his handicap debut at Fairyhouse in February, the Gavin Cromwell-trained six-year-old then disappointed at Clonmel. A more encouraging third of seven when last seen at Bellewstown, he had subsequent Down Royal winner Howdoyalikeherhome a place behind. Making the frame in six of his last seven starts and a C&D winner in December, Crowsatedappletart is an obvious danger. Handicap debutants Tippinaway and Arctic Piper warrant respect, with the former on the mark at Clonmel last month. Three-time winner Penny Jar, Barry Connell's Tannery Park and Limerick third Ballinoe Blaze are others for the shortlist.

The consistent and locally trained CROWSATEDAPPLETART can gain a fifth career victory under Darragh O'Keeffe

13th (8) (80/1 -60%)Story Rory |
80/1(-60%) | (8) Story Rory 80/1, Looked to want further down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m1f at Clonmel most recent; generally out of form; up in trip; hard to fancy at present Long losing run and well held on yard debut on last month's return; best watched for now. |

Another wide-open contest where it might be worth taking a chance on YOU DONE WELL. One of two four-year-olds in the line-up, Kieran Purcell's representative was second on his debut over flights at Gowran in October. Disappointing on heavy ground on his penultimate start at Limerick, he might bounce back now returning to a sounder surface. A case can be made for many others, with Due Course the second preference. A dual winner last season, his form went downhill towards the end of the year but he was an encouraging fifth in the charity race at Punchestown last weekend. A runner-up at Down Royal last month, Tell Nobody Nothin is sure to have plenty of supporters, while the Tony Martin-trained Aurea Fortuna and The Nagger Reidy (first-time tongue strap) are other leading hopes.

Way Down South is potentially well in but preference is for TELL NOBODY NOTHIN over this trip and on this ground

Over four years on from the famous success of Heaven Help Us in the Coral Cup at Cheltenham, Paul Hennessy, Richie Condon and the Turner family are reunited here with JACOVEC CAVERN. A faller at the last when in command at this venue in March, he since disappointed when sent off favourite at Wetherby. That trip to the UK came pretty soon after his final-flight mishap and, given a bit of time subsequently, he should be able to bounce back. Runner-up on two of her last three starts, Nytol certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn. Third on debut in a weak affair at Tramore last month, Kasanova's Dream should be able to make an impact in a contest of this quality, while Empire's Succes and hurdling debutant Coup D'etat are others of note.

Several with chances but perhaps NYTOL can be rewarded for her consistency here

|PU| (1) (14/1 +58%)Backonthegoagain |
14/1(+58%) | (1) Backonthegoagain 14/1, Seemed to be on stiff mark down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m7f at Punchestown most recent; dual point winner generally out of form under rules; more needed Has struggled in handicaps on soft/heavy; could have more to offer back on better ground. |

Yet another competitive affair. While two from two in point-to-points, BACKONTHEGOAGAIN has yet to transfer that form to the racecourse proper. He probably wasn't suited by testing conditions on his last two outings and, returning to quick ground now, a much improved performance can be expected. Lucky Lioness is another point-to-point winner in the line-up. Not beaten far when fifth in a decent contest at Punchestown in January, it'll be interesting to see how this unexposed six-year-old fares in first-time cheekpieces. Bidding to follow up a surprise win at Naas last month, Kiln Time is sure to have plenty of supporters, while Driveonwill, Wyoming Baby and Leading Endeavour are others for the shortlist.

Following an encouraging handicap debut at Ballinrobe last month, LEADING ENDEAVOUR (nap) may be the one to side with on similar ground

This looks a guessing game, with very little meaningful form to go on. John Gleeson has a good strike-rate at Cork and has won this contest twice in the last three years. The leading amateur now takes the ride on THAT'S SO TRUE, with this Mag Mullins-trained bay likely to give a good account of herself on debut. Out of a bumper-winning mare, she's a half-sister to useful hurdler Talk In The Park. With a Flat pedigree and bought for 115,000gns as a yearling, Woodland Adventure is of definite interest. In the care of Gordon Elliott, she's a half-sister to Group 3 winner Iveagh Gardens. Better known for his handling of point-to-pointers, Pat Turley is represented by Double Order. From the family of Kim Muir winner Daily Present, this Order Of St George bay warrants respect with Toni Quail aboard. Others for the shortlist are Georginas Jet, who is a half-sister to dual bumper winner Carrarea, and the Gavin Cromwell-trained Annarubyrose.

Pure guesswork and probably wisest to go with Gordon Elliott's debutante Camelot filly WOODLAND ADVENTURE
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
