|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

14/1(+58%) | (13) My Bobby Dazzler 14/1, Made too much use of fourth beaten 15l in a handicap hurdle at Cheltenham latest; that hinted at revival; in the mix off much reduced mark but strike rate a worry Went close off 4lb higher in this race in 2024 but younger rivals appeal more all the same. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Topgun Simmy has to be of interest carrying a 7lb penalty for his recent win at Down Royal, where the first two drew clear of the rest, but this looks a stronger field and HARBOUR LAKE is preferred. Alan King's nine-year-old was passed late on by the reopposing Long Draw at Cheltenham in April but he is 3lb better off with that rival today and could reverse the form. Zain Nights won this race last season and may go well again, though he is 7lb higher this year.

He went up another 8lb after last month's C&D win but the style with which TINY TETLEY quickened clear suggests he's still improving.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (11) (16/1 +0%)Big Boy Bobby |
16/1(+0%) | (11) Big Boy Bobby 16/1, Ran to form beaten 1/2l off 119 over 2m1f at Cheltenham last time; sharper track a plus; consistent; could run into a place if getting decent test Running well but he might just lack a telling finishing kick on this flat track. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (5) (22/1 -57%)Glory And Fortune |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
16th (10) (22/1 +12%)Bareback Jack |
22/1(+12%) | (10) Bareback Jack 22/1, Well treated at weights when landing a handicap by 3l off 117 over 2m1f at Bangor-on-Dee last time where had run of race; remains well treated on novice form before lay off; enjoys making it; may contend Formerly smart and appeared to turn a corner when winning nicely at Bangor. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Trainer Evan Williams has won three of the last 10 runnings of this race, suggesting Dr T J Eckleburg has a chance as he returns to hurdles for the first time since 2023. He can go well, but GOBLET OF FIRE could have the edge for Nicky Henderson. Only a five-year-old, and a three-time winner including last time out at Hereford, he might have more to offer as he gains experience. Hat-trick seeking Givemefive, a course and distance winner as recently as April, looks the biggest danger.

Our Champ has another big run in him but ANYHARMINASKING (nap) looked back to his old self when breezing home at Newcastle.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (66/1 -65%)Aristelle |
66/1(-65%) | (7) Aristelle 66/1, Dartmouth filly; half-sister to Vintage Fizz, useful at 21f; cheekpieces first time; tough enough task on debut Cheekpieces fitted for debut and partnered by a 10lb claimer, so probably best watched. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Don Cantillon has a 22 per cent strike-rate with his bumper horses over the last five seasons and it will be interesting to see where newcomer SO PROUD sits in the betting market, with Sean Bowen an eye-catching jockey booking. The fact that Tony Martin sends Ballinrobe winner Jules Winfield over from Ireland speaks volumes, and he shouldn't be far away at the finish, while the connections of both Newcastle winner Freddie Steady Go and Market Rasen victor On To The Rouge will be equally hopeful.

Anything Don Cantillon runs in a bumper needs a second look and SO PROUD has to be of interest with Sean Bowen booked.

66/1(-32%) | (6) Defence Missile 66/1, Appeared not to stay well beaten in a handicap over 9f at Musselburgh latest; should come on for the run; down in trip; others appeal more Consistent 2yo campaign but beaten a long way on last month's stable/seasonal debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (16/1 -191%)Rosemary May |
16/1(-191%) | (8) Rosemary May 16/1, Ideally suited by trip when winning a maiden at Ayr by a neck last time; form of previous run franked; steadily progressive; unexposed at 1m; not out of it Won Ayr maiden 12 days ago; useful pedigree suggests she could be capable of better still. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

NEVER LET GO filled third place on her seasonal/handicap debut over 7f at Wetherby last month and the step up in trip could help her to resume winning ways off the same mark here. That said, Boston Run hit the crossbar over C&D a couple of weeks ago and may give the selection plenty to think about, while Magellan Cloud is another who arrives with solid form claims.

The step up to 1m could be ideal for the unexposed NEVER LET GO and she gets the nod ahead of recent C&D runner-up Boston Run.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CALLIANASSA appeared to have a bit in hand when scoring over 7f at Southwell recently and Brian Ellison's filly could be hard to stop if transferring that form to turf, despite a 3lb rise. Ziggy's Condor was not disgraced when fourth over 6f at Leicester last time and he could go well back up in trip. Others to note are Brazilian Rose, Follow Your Heart and Oriental Prince.

The AW may not be VINCE LE PRINCE's thing and he's taken to bounce back with a win now that he returns to turf.

3rd (2) (14/1 -100%)Annaf |
14/1(-100%) | (2) Annaf 14/1, Beaten 9l in Turf Sprint (Group 2) at Riyadh last time; off a short-break; placed in Kachy and Golden Rose over winter; 2023 Bengough winner; bit to find Smart operator who was placed twice at Listed level on AW over the winter. |

4th (4) (4/1 -100%)Kikkuli |
4/1(-100%) | (4) Kikkuli 4/1, Beaten 4l in Turf Mile Stakes (Grade 1) over 8f at Keeneland last time; narrowly denied in Jersey Stakes last summer; down in trip; strong claims on form though finishing efforts a concern Couldn't build on significant early promise at 3 but still time for him to come good. |

5th (3) (16/1 -33%)Array |
16/1(-33%) | (3) Array 16/1, Probably needed race 4l third in the Michael Foster Conditions Stakes at Thirsk most recent run; 2023 Mill Reef winner; not proven trip; needs to prove ability remains after lay off Group-winning 2yo but off 546 days prior to 4l third in Thirsk conditions race last month. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Tiber Flow was well beaten in the Prix de la Foret when last seen but is possibly better judged on his victory in the Hungerford Stakes at Newbury prior (Kikkuli fourth). Even so, ARRAY looks the more appealing option after finishing third on his return at Thirsk last month. Andrew Balding's four-year-old landed the Mill Reef as a juvenile and should take a big step forward from his comeback. Alyanaabi also warrants respect.

Harry Charlton has his team in form, so KIKKULI might prove the answer to this Listed race.

7th (6) (20/1 -186%)Rosso Levanto |
20/1(-186%) | (6) Rosso Levanto 20/1, Appeared not to stay fourth beaten 7 1/2l in a novice over 10f at Chelmsford latest; returning from a break; up in trip; bit more needed on handicap debut Failed to build on debut promise at 2 but retains potential for handicaps. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LEVER UP showed more when finishing fourth on his handicap debut at Nottingham last month and was kindly dropped 1lb for that effort. The son of Ulysses takes a sizeable step up in trip and, with Paul Mulrennan back on board, he could be the one to beat. Is I Right outran his odds to finish fourth at Chelmsford on his latest outing and could get closer here, while Rosso Levanto makes her first start in a handicap and warrants a market check.

A chance is taken on LEVER UP's stamina as his Nottingham reappearance was promising
Ths is the racecard key.
