15:47 Huntingdon (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

KATARCICE finished second in a pair of point-to-points and caught the eye on his debut under Rules when third in a bumper here, staying on nicely to finish a five-length third on his first start after wind surgery. Now switched to hurdles, he may be better over further in time but could still prove too good for these. Forever Penywern gets 8lb from the suggestion and if he steps up after his Stratford third, he will be a danger. Is This For Real can follow them home.

Another chance is given to IS THIS FOR REAL who pulled up last time but has form claims on a previous Newcastle win in January.

16:17 Huntingdon (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Overabottleofred is the only C&D winer in the field after scoring by 21 lengths here last year and although she races off 11lb higher, she still looks the biggest danger to TAXUS BACCATA. The winner of her last two starts at Leicester and Wincanton, she was impressive last month when coming from off the pace to go well clear and an added 7lb from the handicapper seems more than fair. Moonlit Potter may get the better of Geturguccion for the minor placing.

This should rest between the two mares who won last time, with preference for TAXUS BACCATA over Overabottleofred.

16:50 Huntingdon (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TARA ITI returns to hurdles after a run on the Lingfield all-weather and he looks well handicapped having been beaten only six lengths in a better race at Market Rasen off 8lb higher in December. Sullivan Bay has been placing in low-grade contests on the level recently and he could challenge if he can repeat his December 2024 Plumpton form. It is also hard to ignore the claims of Out Of It, who is expected to relish the step up in trip.

There is little recent form to go on and a chance is taken on SULLIVAN BAY. The main danger is Kentucky River.

17:25 Huntingdon (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

HAREL DU MARAIS proved a different proposition on the back of an 87-day break when landing the spoils at Stratford. The nine-year-old scored with enough in hand to suggest that a 5lb higher mark isn't a concern and he's fancied to follow up. Homme D'Un Soir got back on the scoresheet over hurdles at Wincanton and merits respect as a three-time chase winner, although a bigger threat may emerge from Plumpton runner-up Park Annonciade.

Three of these won last time out but preference is for ICARE GRANDCHAMP to get back to winning ways. Rumoursareflying is next best.

18:00 Huntingdon (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Hello Sweety has come home in splendid isolation on her last two outings and she may prove tough to peg back given her aggressive running style. However, she has received a 12lb hike in the ratings for her latest romp at Fakenham and preference is for the unexposed SWEEPER SYSTEM. Sam Allwood's inmate travelled with real verve when opening his account at Wetherby and has scope for improvement on just his third outing in handicap company. Tilehurst is the pick of the remainder.

This race revolves around HELLO SWEETY (nap) who has dominated her last two races. Sweeper System looks the main danger.

18:30 Huntingdon (Class 5) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PADEL WHACKER is related to some useful sorts, most notably five-time winner Jerrash, and market support on his debut would make him an attractive proposition. Fellow newcomers Island Getaway and Jack The Master are others to keep an eye on, while Westbrooke Boy, the winner of a similar event over C&D in November, took on older horses on much slower ground at Chepstow and will be happier in his own age group.

Island Getaway is a likely looking newcomer, as is PADEL WHACKER, whose brother won on his bumper debut for the yard last spring.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
