|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (200/1 -700%)Mwaki |
200/1(-700%) | (4) Mwaki 200/1, Beaten on debut by 6 and 3/4 lengths; down the field in a maiden over 6f at Brighton most recent; hood on for the first time; back down in trip; difficult to fancy given the form shown Not beaten far on debut but second run was very disappointing; hood added today. |

5th (5) (80/1 -142%)Truly Glamorous |
80/1(-142%) | (5) Truly Glamorous 80/1, 16 Apr; Ardad colt; dam very smart at 5f; related to winners Glamorous Breeze and All Ways Glamorous; will probably need this debut run under her belt Bred to be very speedy but has useful standard to reach on debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having briefly looked outpaced, RISING POWER displayed a willing attitude to make a winning debut in a class 2 novice at Newmarket last month. Charlie Appleby's colt scored a shade cosily and looks more than capable of defying a 6lb penalty in these calmer waters. Killavia should have learned plenty from her opening fourth at Haydock 21 days ago and may serve the most resistance to the selection, although newcomers Alasrae and Enricher are worth market checks.

Godolphin colt RISING POWER looked useful when winning on last month's Newmarket debut and can collect this prize too.

9/2(+50%) | (1) Good Earth 9/2, Thirteen wins in eighty-two career runs; did not get a clear run beaten 3 and a 1/2 lengths at Ascot last time; last career win was over course and distance last August; 1lb lower in the weights; needs to bounce back here Good record over C&D and he's edging back down the weights; interesting contender. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (11/1 -38%)Diamond Dreamer |
11/1(-38%) | (4) Diamond Dreamer 11/1, Scored by 2 and a 1/2 lengths off 68 at Chelmsford in March; placed second when beaten by just 1/2 a length off the mark of 74 last time at Chelmsford; 7lb's higher than last winning mark but he is running well at present More prolific on AW than turf; good second at Chelmsford latest; place claims again. |

12/1(+33%) | (9) Faustus 12/1, Last won a race at Newbury over 5-furlongs back in August 2024; seemed to be on a stiff mark when down the field in a handicap at Goodwood most recent; 4lb's lower than last winning mark; but badly out of form at present Becoming well treated again but there are other pace influences to deal with this time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (3) (18/1 -80%)Jacquelina |
18/1(-80%) | (3) Jacquelina 18/1, Likes to run prominently; ran to form when beaten a length at Chepstow last time out; form has been a little out of sorts since last victory; only 2lb's higher than her last winning mark; could bounce back here Had a fine 2024 and latest Chepstow third was her best run in 2025; others better treated. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

All Ways Glamorous regained the winning thread at Windsor 18 days ago and warrants respect given his upward trajectory. However, a 5lb higher mark and rise in class could leave Christopher Mason's charge vulnerable, which could leave the door open for BANG ON THE BELL. The six-year-old posted a respectable third in a 14-runner sprint at Lingfield last month and a 2lb nudge up in the ratings looks workable. Diamond Dreamer and Jacquelina are others of interest.

No shortage of pace on show here and it could set up nicely for JENEVER (nap) to repeat last season's win in the race.

4/7(+48%) | (6) Saba Desert 4/7, 28 Feb; Dubawi colt; half-brother to Spinning Wheel, smart at 11f; dam useful at 12f; yard has won 2 of last 10 runnings of race; powerful connections; yard and jockey in-form; no doubt will go well here Dubawi colt and the stable's top-class Native Trail made his winning debut in this race. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

6/1(+57%) | (2) Boiling Over 6/1, 120,000 euro yearling; beaten 6 lengths in a novice contest over 6f at Haydock on debut; up in trip; yard do well with their 2yo's; could put the experience to good use here 120,000euros yearling; 9-1 when fifth of the eight runners at Haydock (6f, good to firm). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (5/1 +17%)Waterford Castle |
5/1(+17%) | (7) Waterford Castle 5/1, 24 Mar; 190,000 euros Sea The Stars colt; half-brother to Tawash who was useful at 7f; dam very useful at 6 furlongs as a 2yo; related to listed winner Sahool; top trainer; could go well on debut Sea The Stars colt who cost 190,000euros as a yearling; second foal out of a 6f 2yo winner. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (16/1 -129%)Berkshire Schmokin |
16/1(-129%) | (1) Berkshire Schmokin 16/1, 8 Mar; 75,000 euros War Of Will colt; half-brother to winners Opposites Attract and Next Journey; yard in great form at present; top jockey booked; will sure to be ready for this 75,000euros yearling; well related; best to let the betting guide. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

You Sexy Thing shaped better than the beaten distance when finishing fourth on his debut over 6f at Newmarket last month and that experience should have taught him plenty. However, the son of Dark Angel isn't certain to stay today's extra furlong and it could be worth chancing newcomer SABA DESERT. Charlie Appleby's colt is a three parts-brother to smart middle-distance performer Spinning Wheel and he shouldn't be found lacking for stamina or class. Boiling Over can also figure.

The eyes are drawn to Godolphin's Dubawi colt SABA DESERT, whose stable's top-class Native Trail made a successful start in this maiden.

9/1(+55%) | (8) Silent Age 9/1, Played up when in the stalls for last run, last of 14 in a handicap at Newbury last time; won twice for previous owners Godolphin; has been out of form lately so needs to take a real step forward here Both wins on the AW but career-best RPR was on turf and he had excuses at Newbury. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (7/1 +22%)Andaleep |
7/1(+22%) | (3) Andaleep 7/1, Creditable performer over the years; ran to form when a 6 and a 1/2 length third in a handicap at Newmarket most recent run; 3lb's higher than last winning mark; top jockey booked; could play a part here Has form claims and always worth noting when Jim Crowley rides for this yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (11/2 -83%)Chaturanga |
11/2(-83%) | (5) Chaturanga 11/2, Four wins in twelve career starts; raced a little free beaten by 1 and a 1/4 lengths at Redcar last time; blinkers applied for the first time; top jockey back on board; in the mix if bouncing back to form Close third to an improver at Redcar and the blinkers could be a significant addition. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (9) (10/3 +44%)Charming Whisper |
10/3(+44%) | (9) Charming Whisper 10/3, Well backed when landing a handicap by a length off 73 at Yarmouth last time; up 2lb's for the win latest; good jockey booking; yard are in form; but would need by far a career best here Only 2lb higher than for his Yarmouth win but that was a Class 5 and this is a Class 3. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (9/2 -13%)Promethean |
9/2(-13%) | (7) Promethean 9/2, Maiden in nine career runs; well backed when beaten 3 lengths off the mark of 84 at Windsor last time; significant jockey booking; 1lb lower than his last run; could take a step forward here Nearly won off this mark last season and not a lot has gone to plan this campaign. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (28/1 -75%)Sierra Blanca |
28/1(-75%) | (4) Sierra Blanca 28/1, Lightly raced type with just twelve runs to his name; probably needed the race when down the field in a handicap here most recent after a break; up in trip for the first time; that needs to bring some improvement out of him Only 1-12 and comeback run wasn't much; bit risky with no headgear this time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (1) (12/1 +0%)Son |
12/1(+0%) | (1) Son 12/1, Only win came back in June 2023 on 2nd ever run; comfortably held in a handicap over the mile at Ascot last time; generally out of form at the moment; takes step up in trip for first time; probably best watched His mark continues to fall but seemingly for good reason and has stamina to prove. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (6) (3/1 +57%)Due To Henry |
3/1(+57%) | (6) Due To Henry 3/1, Three wins in just nine career starts; probably needed the run when beaten by 9 lengths in a handicap at Kempton last time when coming back off a break; back down to the trip that he won at in September; significant jockey booking; will be sure to go well here Possible non-stayer over 1m4f the last twice; could do with rain but Murphy is booked. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

CHATURANGA didn't help his cause by hanging left when third in this grade at Redcar. Today's switch to blinkers could rectify that problem and Archie Watson's charge could be thereabouts at the finish competing off an unchanged mark. Promethean wasn't at his best when starting favourite at Windsor, but this slower ground will suit, and he cannot be ruled out with any confidence, while Yarmouth winner Charming Whisper could also make his presence felt.

Rain would help DUE TO HENRY but it's too soon to believe he's entirely dependent upon soft ground. He may get an easy lead.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

MISS JUSTICE lost a shoe when failing to land the odds in maiden company at Wolverhampton. However, this longer distance could see the daughter of Justify in a better light, and she gets another chance with William Buick taking over the reins for her handicap debut. Kind Of Kiss is no forlorn hope based on last month's fourth at Newbury, while Approval has yet to get his act together so far this season, but is on a workable mark if bouncing back.

Brioni and Approval are dangerous on their 2024 form but MISS JUSTICE can make a winning handicap debut now up in trip.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The progressive ANTELOPE landed a double in good style when successful at Leicester last time. The son of Lope De Vega is upped in grade, but remains of interest given the ease of his latest success and the hat-trick beckons. Premier finished a creditable third at Chester recently and there looks more to come from him, while Moonjid is unexposed and could also feature if staying this far on his only second start of the year.

The William Haggas-trained SIR WILLIAM got a little lost around Chester last time but saw that race out well.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The draw has been kind to LAST SHAMARDAL, who was able to leave a below-par Beverley run behind him to finish a creditable sixth in a typically warm class 4 event at York latest. He will need more to come out on top, but an ease in class will do his chances no harm, nor will a 1lb drop in the handicap. Kosometsuke went agonisingly close at Salisbury last time out when attempting to follow up on his earlier Kempton triumph. Roger Varian's charge remains of considerable interest, while Golden Thorn is another to consider.

Kosometsuke was helped by the draw at Salisbury and PANAMA BLACK may be able to turn the tables on this steep finish.

10th (2) (13/2 +54%)St Mawes |
13/2(+54%) | (2) St Mawes 13/2, Zero wins in three career runs; suited by fast ground when fourth beaten by 4 lengths in a maiden at Windsor latest; up in trip on handicap debut; probably needs to show a little more to win this Pleasing run at Windsor in April and brings potential into handicaps over this longer trip. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A chance can be taken on top-weight KENTUCKY RIVER, who didn't run too badly when fourth over 1m2f at Newmarket last month. The son of Camelot is a half-brother to Melbourne Cup winner Protectionist, so this staying trip could unlock plenty of improvement and he's on a fair mark if it can work the oracle. Hamilton scorer Hi Ya Mal gets the services of a red-hot Oisin Murphy today and merits the utmost respect from 4lb higher while Synergism, who is 3lb well-in having been narrowly denied at Lingfield latest, is also noted.

Andrew Balding's HI YA MAL wasn't overly pressed to win his last race over 1m4f and his dam was a smart stayer.
Ths is the racecard key.
