1st (1) (7/4 +61%)Jubilant |
7/4(+61%) | (1) Jubilant 7/4, Below par comfortably held in a handicap hurdle over 3m1f at Plumpton last time; trainer in form; good mark on best hurdle form; top jockey booked; leading player on chase debut Quite stylish hurdle winner in February but yet to build on that performance; chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (13/2 +0%)Halondo |
13/2(+0%) | (2) Halondo 13/2, Well beaten in a handicap hurdle over 2m3f at Warwick latest; generally out of form; cheekpieces first time; not proven trip; outside chance on chase debut but may find ground on the quick side Made low-key stable debut over hurdles but may yet come good for Dan Skelton. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (9/1 -64%)Just Three |
9/1(-64%) | (3) Just Three 9/1, Ran to form 30l third in a novice chase over 2m7f at Killarney most recent run though likely flattered; good ground suits; vulnerable to less exposed rival Has better chance at the weights now back in a handicap but career strike-rate is 0-20. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (11/10 -51%)Ghost Hunter |
11/10(-51%) | (4) Ghost Hunter 11/10, Ideally suited by trip when landing a handicap by 4l off 105 at Chepstow last time; significant jockey booking; going well when running out here on debut; could make amends Rewarded patient ride at Chepstow last month and remains lightly raced; good chance. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GHOST HUNTER produced arguably one of the performances of last season when overcoming being tailed off halfway through the race to come through and run out a four-length victor at Chepstow in April. Jamie Snowden's six-year-old is just 2lb higher for that incredible effort and can follow up. Jubilant ran too badly to be true when last of five at Plumpton over hurdles last time, but is an interesting contender on his chasing debut. Halondo can beat Just Three home for third.

The most obvious answer is GHOST HUNTER, who was nudged up only 2lb after winning readily from a long way off the pace at Chepstow.

1st (1) (8/1 -357%)Duke Of Luckley |
8/1(-357%) | (1) Duke Of Luckley 8/1, Travelled well when landing a handicap by 7l off 114 over 2m3f at Catterick last time; goes well here; down in trip; bit to find back from break off stiff looking mark In excellent form in the autumn; six-month break may have checked his momentum. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (9/4 +44%)Harel Du Marais |
9/4(+44%) | (4) Harel Du Marais 9/4, Well treated at weights when scored by 5l off 100 here three starts back; second beaten a length off 107 last time where conceded first run; goes well here; could figure but handicapper catching up Dual C&D winner for new stable in March; still in good form; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (2/1 +50%)El Muchacho |
2/1(+50%) | (3) El Muchacho 2/1, Did not get a clear run 8 1/4l third in a handicap chase at Chepstow most recent run but travelled well for a long way; should come on for the run; trainer in form; on last winning mark; claims obvious Made an encouraging stable debut last month and remains well handicapped. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (9/2 +36%)Jetronic |
9/2(+36%) | (2) Jetronic 9/2, Raced freely 10l third in a handicap chase at Newbury most recent run; worth marking that up; well treated on French form; off a short-break; may contend Ran well when third at Newbury in March and has good claims in this easier race. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (9/2 -13%)Asian Star |
9/2(-13%) | (5) Asian Star 9/2, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle over 2m4f here latest; good mark on best hurdle and bumper form; likes the track; big player back from break on chase debut Course winner over hurdles; Dan Skelton is evidently keen to switch her to fences. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Duke Of Luckley struck over C&D prior to showing his versatility to score over 2m3f at Catterick when last seen in November and has to be respected on his return to the fray. However, HAREL DU MARAIS was only beaten a length into second in this class at Huntingdon earlier in the month and the assessor may have been kind to leave his mark alone. The eight-year-old is taken to record a third C&D victory, while Asian Star is another to keep an eye on.

The pick is well-handicapped 8yo EL MUCHACHO, who caught the eye when travelling well for a long way on last month's stable debut.

9/2(+10%) | (3) The Hustler 9/2, £25,000 Tirwanako gelding; half-brother to Driscolls Hill, moderate from 22f to 24f; yard does very well in this sphere; of interest Pedigree does not leap off the page but his stable does pretty well in bumpers. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (5/2 +17%)No Tricks At All |
5/2(+17%) | (8) No Tricks At All 5/2, 125,000 euros No Risk At All filly; dam high-class at 10f; trainer in form; yard in good form and gets plenty of winners in this sphere; can go well Out of a French 1m2f Group 3 Flat winner; stable does well in bumpers; high on the list. |

20/1(+9%) | (4) Wotalaad 20/1, 1,800gns Awtaad gelding; half-brother to Mosaawaah, fair at 16f; looks an unlikely winner on debut Out of unraced half-sister to a Derby runner-up; rare bumper runner for his Flat stable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (40/1 -100%)Foxburrow Forever |
40/1(-100%) | (2) Foxburrow Forever 40/1, Jack Hobbs gelding; half-brother to Tearaway Tilly, smart at 16f; dam poor at 12f; yard in good form with small number of runners; market should reveal more Out of a 2m chase winner; stable not renowned for bumper success. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

With hardly any form to go off, only a tentative vote goes to EREMENKO, who is closely related to Cheltenham Festival winner Doddiethegreat. The daughter of Walk In The Park goes for the Nicky Henderson team and could make an instant impression. No Tricks At All was a 125,000 euro purchase who is related to a few winners and needs to be monitored in the market on his debut, along with newcomer Atomic Sonic.

A good bumper for the time of year on paper. NO TRICKS AT ALL, a daughter of a French Group 3 Flat winner, appeals most.

1st (6) (9/1 +0%)Hope Rising |
9/1(+0%) | (6) Hope Rising 9/1, Probably needed race well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Warwick latest; generally out of form on flat prior; not proven trip; more needed In process of running well until bad jumping error cooked her goose on hurdle debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (25/1 -79%)Klervia |
25/1(-79%) | (1) Klervia 25/1, Probably needed race 18l third in a novice hurdle over 2m1f at Newton Abbot most recent run; plenty more needed and likely one for further in time Kept on for modest third on hurdle debut at Newton Abbot; has place claims again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (11/2 +0%)Lasting Love |
11/2(+0%) | (7) Lasting Love 11/2, Made too much use of second beaten 28l in a novice hurdle at Stratford latest; steadily progressive; showed useful form on flat last autumn; danger Fairly useful on the Flat; needs to learn to settle better over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (18/1 -177%)Nini Star |
18/1(-177%) | (8) Nini Star 18/1, Comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Worcester last time; generally out of form; second run after wind op; not proven trip; yet to match promising flat form; may need more time Pulled up on hurdle debut and didn't achieve much when sixth at Worcester recently. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (4/1 -45%)Christian Bruce |
4/1(-45%) | (4) Christian Bruce 4/1, Yard has won 2 of last 8 runnings of race; 22l third in a novice hurdle at Kempton most recent run; steadily progressive; good ground suits; sets clear form standard; the one to beat Just a modest third at Kempton in March but shortlisted in this easier race. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

50/1(-52%) | (3) Burgeon 50/1, Comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Warwick last time; yet to show much; trainer in form; plenty more needed and needs this for a mark Showed nothing more than minor promise on first two hurdling starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (13/8 +59%)Taktique Gagnante |
13/8(+59%) | (2) Taktique Gagnante 13/8, Down the field in a Mares bumper over 2m1f at Cheltenham most recent; placed in Irish bumper prior; acts on good ground; each way player on hurdle debut Placed in big-field Cork bumper in January; makes hurdling debut in a modest race. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (4/1 +20%)Global Hideaway |
4/1(+20%) | (5) Global Hideaway 4/1, Yard won this last year; in need of the experience fourth beaten 24l in a juvenile hurdle at Newcastle latest where outclassed; from top yard but looks one for handicaps First of her two runs in the autumn makes her one of the leading form contenders. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Although she proved no match for an odds-on winner at Stratford recently, LASTING LOVE offered plenty of encouragement. Today's contest looks ripe for the taking and the four-year-old could take all the catching if adopting front-running tactics once more. Hurdles debutant Taktique Gagnante was somewhat underwhelming when finishing down the field in a class 2 bumper for mares at Cheltenham last month, but she warrants respect if judged on her penultimate third at Cork. Global Hideaway appears best of the remainder.

Preference is for TAKTIQUE GAGNANTE, who was placed in a big-field Irish bumper in January and should have a future over jumps.

2nd (4) (9/1 -38%)Grasshopper Time |
9/1(-38%) | (4) Grasshopper Time 9/1, Pulled up in a handicap chase over 2m1f at Bangor-on-Dee latest; up in trip; off a short-break; frustrating maiden; bit to prove on hurdles return Reverts to hurdling on a workable mark but does not have a compelling profile. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

10/3(+49%) | (1) Runaway Train 10/3, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle over 2m at Fakenham latest where ground too soft; not proven trip; returning from a break; significant jockey booking; outside chance back on better ground Absent since poor run in January but his second here in November makes him of interest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (22/1 -100%)Far Away West |
22/1(-100%) | (7) Far Away West 22/1, Fell in a handicap hurdle over 2m5f at Kelso latest where would've placed; good ground suits; outside chance In contention for second before last-flight fall at Kelso this month; a possible. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Dartmouth Rose posted her best effort to date when finishing second on her handicap bow at Fakenham a fortnight ago and another good showing is forecast. However, Tom Lacey has his string in fine fettle at present and it could be worth chancing MATCHADAM on his seasonal debut. The seven-year-old was last seen finishing third over an extended 3m at this venue and this ease in distance looks ideal. Conversely, The Last Drop is stepping up in trip and is worth a second look.

After a respectable handicap debut over 2m, THE LAST DROP looks interesting over this new trip. Matchadam is second choice.

40/1(+20%) | (9) Stripe Of Honour 40/1, Seemed to be on stiff mark down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m7f at Market Rasen most recent; generally out of form; bit to find even off this basement mark Out of sorts in the autumn but his record when fresh in recent years piques interest. |

16/1(-167%) | (4) Moonshine Girl 16/1, Back to form fourth beaten 13l in a handicap hurdle at Cork latest; 3m on good ground suits; threat if bringing best Irish form Shaped well before fading into fourth at Cork last week; still unexposed over 3m. |

11/1(-120%) | (3) Micronormous 11/1, Well backed second beaten 19l in a handicap chase at Exeter latest; off a short-break; thrown in on chase form; not fully exposed in this sphere; every chance Has rather mixed record last season but reverts to hurdling on a good mark; a possible. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

James Owen has been pulling up trees with his stable debutants of late, so Leading Force warrants a market check with champion jockey Sean Bowen in the plate. However, FOX'S SOCKS looks the most solid proposition after finding only a rejuvenated rival too strong at Huntingdon recently. A 1lb nudge up in the ratings may prove inconsequential for Mike Sowersby's gelding and compensation may beckon. Irish raider Moonshine Girl completes the shortlist.

Back on a good mark if judged on some of last summer's form, INDIAN SUNBIRD (nap) has conditions to suit and gets the vote.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
