LTO Selection:

13:40 Wetherby Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

This can go the way of POUGNE AMINTA, who ran a cracker on her hurdles debut at Southwell and should be open to plenty more improvement on just her third start under Rules. Bridget Breeze ran a promising race when third at Ayr and she is likely to be thereabouts, along with Ol'river Shine, who was behind a couple of subsequent winners at Plumpton on her hurdles bow.

BRIDGET BREEZE is from a good family and seems sure to build on an encouraging hurdling debut at Ayr 3 weeks ago, especially now that her stamina is drawn out a bit further, so she's put forward as the selection. Pougne Aminta is sure to be in the thick of the action if reproducing her Southwell form, with Ol'River Shine another possible threat having shaped with some encouragement on her Rules debut at Plumpton in January.

Point winner POUGNE AMINTA was a promising second on last month's hurdle debut at Southwell and is taken to go one better.

LTO Selection:

14:15 Wetherby Handicap Chase (Class 5) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A taking winner on his chase debut at Market Rasen earlier in the month, there should be plenty more improvement forthcoming from SOMEWHAT CLOUDY as she looks to follow up off a 5lb higher mark. Donald McCain's mare may not be inconvenienced by the drop in trip and gets the vote ahead of Beat The Edge, who can bounce back from his latest effort, and Getaway Jewel, who has dropped down 1lb below his last winning mark.

GETAWAY JEWEL has plenty of experience for a novice and looks ready to strike again having dipped below his last winning mark. Somewhat Cloudy and Howyouplaythegame made a positive start over fences when 1-2 at Market Rasen so are the obvious threats.

The Donald McCain-trained SOMEWHAT CLOUDY created a good impression when winning by 3l at Market Rasen on her recent chase debut.

LTO Selection:

14:50 Wetherby Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CRUZ CONTROL may have not run up to scratch when last seen in Grade 2 company at Cheltenham in January, but this represents a steep drop in grade as the six-year-old looks to bounce back to the form that saw him win easily at Newcastle on his hurdles debut. Thistlebuffs may have been beaten a long way at Kelso, but the form of that race has worked out well and must enter calculations alongside newcomer Nab Wood.

An impressive winner on hurdles debut at Newcastle in December, CRUZ CONTROL jumped none too fluently and ultimately never figured at Grade 2 level at Cheltenham a month later. However, the return to calmer waters rates an obvious plus and he ought to play a lead role despite conceding weight all round. Thistlebuffs, on the back of his encouraging debut effort at Kelso, newcomer Nab Wood and God's Own Getaway head up the dangers.

This looks an ideal opportunity for CRUZ CONTROL to return to winning ways. Thistlebuffs could be best of the rest.

LTO Selection:

15:25 Wetherby Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Dancewiththewind is interesting dropping back in distance with Ryan Mania returning to the saddle, but Pyramid Place is higher on the shortlist having had both Celestial Horizon (sixth) and Front View (last) in behind him when he was a good third on his penulitmate start here. However, preference is for the class-dropping HARDY DU SEUIL, who is likely to find this is much more to his liking, after struggling in Sandown's Imperial Cup last time out, and first-time cheekpieces further aid his claims.

DARE TO SHOUT needs to improve to complete the hat-trick switched to handicap company but that is very much on the cards judged on the excellent impression he's created so far. Fransham and Albert's Back can count 7 C&D wins between them and they head the opposition.

Dare To Shout is respected but HARDY DU SEUIL has very solid claims if judged on his Sandown win two starts ago.

LTO Selection:

15:55 Wetherby Handicap Chase (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

East Street (fourth) wasn't quite at his best here last month and it would come as no surprise to see him bounce back to give FEIVEL (winner) more of a test today. However, the latter showed a touch of quality under pressure before eventually asserting to emerge as a comfortable winner on the day. The eight-year-old wasn't disgraced when second in a higher grade at Sandown and he is taken to resume winning ways. Shetland Bus and Lounge Lizard complete the shortlist.

FEIVEL bumped into an improving sort at Sandown last time and is taken to go one better than last time back at the scene of his win last month. Lounge Lizard will be a danger if the blinkers work as well a second time, while East Street ran poorly behind the selection here last time but will have a say if back to the form he showed when just edged out over C&D prior to that.

Topweight FEIVEL (nap) has been in fine form since joining Stuart Edmunds and can add to last month's C&D win.

LTO Selection:

16:25 Wetherby Handicap Chase (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ROSTELLO impressed despite jumping to the left when getting back to winning ways at Southwell last week and he is taken to follow up turned out quickly under a 7lb penalty. No Regrets is unexposed at the trip and rates as a possible improver in first-time cheekpieces, while Where's Hector also has the potential to step forward now faced with a sterner test of stamina. Ballynagran has won over C&D in the past and is another that could enter calculations.

ROSTELLO bounced back in no uncertain terms when scoring at Southwell 11 days ago and he's expected to go well again. Point winner Divine Inspiration could prove a different proposition now switched to chasing, so he's regarded as a danger along with the well treated No Regrets.

Having been well suited by the return to a left-handed track when winning by 14l at Southwell recently, ROSTELLO can defy a penalty.

16:55 Wetherby NH Flat Race (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

AMARBELLE'S DREAM will need to put her Warwick disappointment behind her, but Fergal O'Brien's filly would hold leading claims judged on her debut second here in December and a first-time tongue tie may help the four-year-old get back on track. Storm Spirit was only just denied when promoted to second on her racecourse bow at Newcastle last month and is feared most, while any market support for unraced duo Perfect Poli and Miss Goldfire should be heeded.

The market should reveal plenty here but SMURFETTE showed up really well when fifth on her Warwick debut and can return from a break in style. Amarbelle's Dream is worth another chance to confirm her debut promise so could emerge as the chief threat to Dan Skelton's Blue Bresil mare. Newcomers Miss Goldfire and Unsinkable Molly B are two more who need factoring into an open-looking bumper.
