LTO Selection:

13:30 Taunton Conditions Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SPARTAN ARMY found stepping back up in grade too much in the Adonis last month and the son of Highland Reel might prove too strong for his rivals down in class, despite having to carry a 7lb penalty. Call Me Arthur attracted market interest ahead of his racecourse debut at Ffos Las and he could fare better with that run behind him. Jilaijone is fancied to chase them home, while Only Fools can't be ruled out on her first start for the David Pipe team.

This represents a big drop in class for SPARTAN ARMY given he contested the Adonis at Kempton a month ago and he's fancied to get right back on track. Jilaijone was disappointing in handicap company last time but is still the obvious threat, though Only Fools did win twice on the Flat in France.

Back down in class SPARTAN ARMY has the best chance. The Pipe runners Jilaijone and Only Fools look the biggest dangers.

LTO Selection:

13:35 Hexham Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

In a contest lacking depth, preference is for the class-dropping LEADING FORCE, who could record his best run over hurdles to date in this contest. Runner-up on his last three starts, including over a similar trip at Newcastle last month, he should not be taken lightly and is fancied to shed his maiden tag. Torosay and Hot As Pepper are the main dangers.

HOT AS PEPPER has already won a bumper over this trip and arrives on the back of a solid effort in a deeper contest at Punchestown last month. She gets the nod. The consistent Leading Force looks the obvious danger, whilst Fetch It Yourself can also make her presence felt.

Having been runner-up on his last three starts, this could be a good opportunity for LEADING FORCE to get off the mark.

LTO Selection:

13:40 Limerick Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

LIBBY's experience should stand her in good stead here. Joseph O'Brien's charge has appeared in four hurdle races and posted a pair of fourth-placed finishes behind some very useful sorts in maiden hurdles before occupying the same position in a Listed contest at Doncaster in January. Her clear second on testing ground in a Gowran Park maiden hurdle this month sets a fair standard. Media Naranja is a big player. She improved on her second start to be pipped on the line in a big field at Navan. Corey McGivern's 7lb claim helps her cause. Heather Bear won twice on the Flat and is worth a market check on her jumping debut.

The vote goes to MEDIA NARANJA, who confirmed the promise of her hurdles debut fourth when going close in a big-field at Navan last time and she is open to further improvement. Heather Bear is 3-7 on the Flat and it'll be interesting to see how she gets on now tackling hurdles but Libby has already shown a fairly useful level of form in this sphere and she is the clear main danger.

Seemingly a match, with the less exposed claimer-ridden MEDIA NARANJA preferred to the solid claims of the more experienced Libby

13:50 Warwick Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Only narrowly denied over 2m3f at Kilbeggan on his latest outing, it is hard to oppose CARRAREA on his stable debut for Mark Walford. He can make his presence felt in a first-time tongue-tie and must enter calculations, although the grade-dropping Gaelic Park should not be taken lightly and may give the selection plenty to think about. Morning Line is another to bear in mind.

CARRAREA sets a clear standard on the form he showed in Ireland for Emmet Mullins, so there's no real urge to oppose him in a maiden lacking depth. Gaelic Park can provide the main threat if bouncing back from a couple of lesser efforts. Morning Line ought to prove capable of better and is the pick of the remainder.

Mark Walford's new recruit CARRAREA showed some useful form when trained in Ireland and is taken to make a winning stable debut.

13:57 Naas Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

There should be more to come from THE LOVELY MAN on his third start. He attracted support ahead of a promising debut fourth at Fairyhouse before Christmas, and the form of that race received a massive boost when the winner went on to land the Boodles at the Cheltenham Festival. The Lovely Man then kept on for fifth at Naas after losing his place on a couple of occasions. By Your Side has been placed in three of his eight hurdle races and got closer to that elusive victory on his latest start when beaten a length and a half into second at Navan. Newcomer Splendid Choice has winners in his pedigree.

BY YOUR SIDE has had plenty of chances, but he continues to progress with experience so gets the nod to open his account at the expense of The Lovely Man, who shaped well in a couple of maiden hurdles in recent months and remains capable of better still. Night Sparkle, Red Trail and Step Into My Shoes are a handful of others to consider in a contest where the market will no doubt prove informative.

THE LOVELY MAN's form is working out well having finished in behind the first two home in the Fred Winter in two starts so far

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Plenty of these would need to improve on what they have shown so far, but that can't be said for DONNIE AZOFF, who is taken to go one better having finished a good second at Fontwell on his latest start. Fuji Rocks was travelling well when stumbling and unseating his rider on the bend at Ludlow last week and he is likely to enter calculations. Moytier appeals most of the remainder.

This sharp test will suit DONNIE AZOFF and in a race lacking strength in depth, it looks a good chance for him to open his account. Fuji Rocks is open to improvement and is second choice, with Gardons La another to consider.

This looks a good chance for DONNIE AZOFF to get off the mark. Fever Dream is the suggested second choice.

LTO Selection:

14:10 Hexham Handicap Chase (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A drop in trip can see Court Justice improve on a disappointing run over 3m at Ayr earlier this month, but it could be worth taking a chance on MOONACURA. Stuart Coltherd's charge was a well-beaten joint-favourite on his chasing bow at this track last time out and first-time blinkers could spark some improvement into the gelded son of Fame And Glory. Hell On Earth returns from a 628-day break and also warrants a market check.

ASHJAN has been struggling for form but there was a glimmer of encouragement in his fifth here last time and, with his yard going well, he might be able to capitalise on a reduced mark. Cudgel is also well treated and goes well here, so he's feared and Moonacura could up his game in first-time blinkers.

His form figures are uninspiring and he's 6lb out of the weights but this drop back in trip could be just what COURT JUSTICE needs.

LTO Selection:

14:15 Limerick Maiden Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SO DES FLOS lost out by the minimum margin at Fairyhouse in January, but could get off the mark here. That was over a shorter trip and he then raced over further in Thurles before finishing third. This extended 2m5f and first-time cheekpieces might work the oracle. Cheekpieces are also tried on Potters Party who has a notable third place at Clonmel in the book. The form of that race has been well franked. He tends to attract support and ground conditions will be fine. MacDermott has been beaten a fair way into third and sixth on his two starts and takes a marked step up in trip. He represents the champion trainer, though, and is one to consider.

This drop in trip and the addition of cheekpieces could be just the ticket for SO DES FLOS, who wasn't beaten far despite looking rather laboured when third over 23.7f at Thurles last month. Potters Party remains open to improvement and he is second choice ahead of Castle Field Boy. Macdermott produced a rather tame finishing effort on his hurdles debut at Down Royal but he couldn't be in better hands and may be seen in a better light now faced with a stiffer test.

A good opportunity for SO DES FLOS (nap) to get off the mark, chiefly at the expense of Potters Party, both now with cheekpieces

LTO Selection:

14:25 Warwick Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

In not the strongest of contests, marginal preference is for CONCEAL, who is now rated 3lb above his last winning mark which came over this trip at Uttoxeter in October. He was beaten by Boys Of Wexford on his penultimate start but is now 10lb better off with Henry Oliver's charge and can reverse that form here. The consistent Jack Doyen sports first-time cheekpieces following a distant third over 3m at Ludlow earlier this month and could also have a say in proceedings.

JACK DOYEN was unable to land a blow under exaggerated waiting tactics when third at Ludlow 4 weeks ago but, having been dropped 4 lb on the back of that effort and with first-time cheekpieces applied, Ben Case's 7-y-o gets the nod to open his account. Boys of Wexford has made a solid start to chasing so he's fancied to give the selection most to think about, ahead of Conceal.

Henry Oliver's BOYS OF WEXFORD has made a good start to his chasing career this season and has a good chance to double his tally here.

14:32 Naas Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TROUBLED TIMES is taken to make a winning return. She wouldn't want the ground to get too deep, though, as she was scratched from a Grade 3 novice hurdle in Limerick this month due to soft ground. Her form really stacks up. She won her bumper on debut at Killarney last May and signed off in September with a Listed bumper victory (on yielding ground) at Gowran Park. In between those runs, she posted a runner-up berth over hurdles at Ballinrobe in July. Chautuaqua brings a solid level of form to the contest. A mistake at the last did her no favours in Navan as she dropped to fourth. That's a finishing berth she is getting accustomed to. Something Abouther has had her Limerick bumper win of November 2021 well endorsed in more recent times. She could show improvement on her third start over hurdles. Gordon Elliott's Emotional Damage is a newcomer to note.

TROUBLED TIMES, a listed bumper winner, shaped encouragingly in a brace of maiden hurdles last summer and is a straightforward choice to open her account in this sphere. Chautuaqua and Something Abouther are considered the main threats.

Preference is for SOMETHING ABOUTHER after a good run in a maiden hurdle at Gowran after 16 months off, though she needs to jump better

The form of GARINCHA's Fontwell success took a timely boost when the runner-up won at Huntingdon next time out. A 3lb rise in the handicap ought to be more than manageable with that in mind, and he is open to further progress up in trip. Art Decco bolted up on his latest outing and must feature prominently in calculations once again, along with Haldon Hill, who struck at Ffos Las earlier this month.

ART DECCO got off the mark when forging clear for success at Fontwell last time and he is taken to follow up with more to come returned to this longer trip. The 7-y-o can get the better of Garincha and Haldon Hill, who also both arrive on the back of victories on their latest outings.

This drop in class may well enable MUMBO JUMBO (nap) to get off the mark. Art Decco is feared most.

14:45 Hexham Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A 7lb penalty looks unlikely to stop HORN CAPE securing a double here, especially given he kept on well to score by nine lengths over 2m1f at Sedgefield last time. Although this is a tougher contest, he showed enough at the Durham venue to suggest there would be more in the locker and he is narrowly preferred to Miss Lamb, who shed her maiden tag over C&D on her latest outing. Deluxe Range completes the shortlist.

A case can be made for all of these but MISS LAMB looks to start life in handicaps on an attractive mark so gets the nod on the back of her C&D novice success. Recent Sedgefield scorer Horn Cape is feared most under a 7 lb penalty while Deluxe Range can't be ruled out on the back of breathing surgery along with handicap-debutant I Doubt That.

The 6yo HORN CAPE (nap) won in fine style at Sedgefield last week on his second run for Ben Haslam and can defy a 7lb penalty.

14:50 Limerick Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Henning won over this trip on penultimate start in Fairyhouse. She was unplaced when next seen in Thurles, but that was in a Grade 3 novice hurdle. She just gets into this contest with her mark of 116 and could have a significant part to play. THETYS may have more scope than others in this field. She stayed on well to make the breakthrough at Naas, on her sixth start, just over a month ago. That was in a higher grade, so she may be up to defying a 7lb rise. Royal Rhythm was strong in Clonmel last week. He had to make his own running there and, if still fresh, should be a contender up in class on ground he loves. He escaped with a 4lb rise from that recent victory. Friends N Commerce hasn't run over a trip as short as this since his debut more than two years ago. He has posted plenty of placed efforts, though. Positive Thinker keeps banking cheques and is another dropping back in trip.

THETYS was strong at the finish when opening her account at the second attempt in handicap company at Naas and, with the best surely yet to come from this unexposed 4-y-o, she should have little trouble dealing with a 7 lb rise in the weights. The consistent Positive Thinker is likely to give another good account and he is feared most ahead of Friends N Commerce.

Quite an open-looking handicap in which POSITIVE THINKER can gain an overdue first success now dropped in trip

LTO Selection:

15:00 Warwick Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Blade Runner reverts to timber following a series of very respectable performances over fences, including a success over 3m4f on his latest outing at Plumpton last November. He certainly warrants a market check here, but GLANCE FROM CLOVER bolted up over C&D last week and shades the vote. He has to shoulder a 7lb penalty for that success but he must command respect and can be expected to be thereabouts once more. Braganza Bay adds further spice to the mix.

It was a weak race STELLAR STREAM won at Hereford but he had it wrapped up from some way out and looks to have been allotted a potentially lenient opening mark, so the follow up beckons. Glance From Clover merits respect under a penalty for his recent breakthrough win here, while Blade Runner will be dangerous too if transferring his chasing form back to hurdles.

There is no doubting his stamina after BLADE RUNNER's three chase wins and he's also well handicapped on his best chase form.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Walhaan and Doyen Ta Win are more than able to force the pace, so this could be a proper test. In addition, they are both in winning form. ABBEYDALE holds an entry in a Grade A handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse next month which shows the regard he is held in. He turns up after staying on well to see it out best in a Gowran Park maiden hurdle. Nucky Johnson is reappearing after being promoted to first in a Punchestown maiden hurdle in November. The form of his four runs (two wins and two places) is very solid and he has won off a break before. Ludus could exploit a very light weight. Marelly has improved by well over a stone since October and has earned a shot at this prize.

An open-looking novice with NUCKY JOHNSON taken to continue the good work and follow up his Punchestown success. Doyen Ta Win's has been in tremendous form in handicap company and her slick jumping will continue to stand her in good stead, with the Gordon-Elliott pair Ludus and Abbeydale also interesting.

Preference is for the prolific DOYEN TA WIN, up 28lb for her three recent wins still improving with trip and ground in her favour

LTO Selection:

15:15 Taunton Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BALKO SAINT has dropped a long way in the ratings since he was last seen over hurdles and has an obvious chance of exploiting the opportunity if revitalised by the switch back to timber. The progressive Decorated looks the the chief danger to the selection after notching a bloodless success at Sedgefield in December, while Operation Manna is better than he showed over 3m at Chepstow last time.

Having been campaigned over fences this season, BALKO SAINT ran better than for a while when runner-up at Wincanton last time and probably would have won if not for errors in the latter stages. The 6-y-o is on a workable mark now back over hurdles and he can see off the challenge of last-time-out winners Decorated and Earth King.

As a last-time-out winner who remains unexposed beyond 2m, DECORATED may well be the answer. Earth King is second choice.

15:20 Hexham Handicap Chase (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Now that the penny has dropped for TWOSHOTSOFTEQUILA over fences, there should be plenty more to come from the son of Snow Sky as he looks to overcome a 7lb rise for a comfortable success at Doncaster. The heavy ground may not be ideal but he is still taken to uphold form with Taste The Fear (third) and account for the likes of Donna's Delight and Nick Lost.

NICK LOST didn't shape too badly in a cross-country event at Punchestown last time and, with a tongue strap now applied, he could be worth chancing if the market speaks in his favour. Twoshotsoftequila is considered a danger on the back of his Doncaster win and Taste The Fear, who was third in the same race, should be on the premises.

Topweight TWOSHOTSOFTEQUILA did it comfortably at Doncaster four weeks ago on his first crack at 3m and gets the nod.

LTO Selection:

15:25 Limerick Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

LOVELY REACTION is taken to bounce back. She was pulled up on her last start over further in Clonmel, but may be better judged on her C&D success on soft ground last month. She's had almost six weeks break since that below-par run in Clonmel. Kate Ill Know put in an encouraging performance when third over this trip in Clonmel and wouldn't need to find much more to threaten. It is worth noting that she has a deep-ground victory in the book from Clonmel. Crowsatedappletart's best form is over this sort of trip, so he merits consideration. Young Fitzy and Another Million could get in the money.

YOUNG FITZY has slipped to an attractive mark and again shaped as though his turn may be near when fourth here on Sunday. The 8-y-o can underline that impression by regaining the winning thread, perhaps at the chief expense of Crowsatedappletart, who wasn't seen to best effect back in this sphere at Cork last week. Kate Ill Know is also considered on the back of a creditable effort at Clonmel, while Firework is a possible improver now pitched into a handicap.

Having dropped down the handicap, KATE ILL KNOW could be ready to score again judged on her recent third at Clonmel.

LTO Selection:

15:35 Warwick Handicap Chase (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Bun Doran proved that he retains plenty of ability when winning at Sandown last month and Tom George's veteran, a Grade 2 winner at his peak, doesn't look overburdened by a 3lb rise in the handicap. However, he could be vulnerable to some less-exposed rivals and preference is for SAINT SEGAL. Jane Williams' gelding lost little in defeat when going down by half a length at Doncaster in January and he remains open to further progress. Others to note are Lac De Constance and Grandeur D'ame.

Cases can be made for most of these but youngster SAINT SEGAL has made a fine start to his chasing career, winning his first couple of outings and likely to have maintained his unbeaten record but for conceding first run at Doncaster a couple of months ago. With better still to come, he's fancied to regain the winning thread at the expense of the hat-trick-seeking Grandeur d'Ame. Bun Doran can fill out third spot.

Grandeur D'Ame could go very well in his hat-trick bid but he's second choice behind the promising 5yo SAINT SEGAL (nap).

LTO Selection:

15:42 Naas Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CRAFTY GAEL catches the eye off a light weight. There was plenty of merit in his first two ventures into handicap company when he was a never-nearer sixth at Punchestown in January, before running well in second in a much better class of race over a similar trip at this track. Nemean is likely to be popular after staying on to get to within a neck of the winner at Wexford. That was on better ground, but he has form on yielding, yielding to soft in places. He gets a first-time tongue-strap. Dragon's Pass should be in there pitching in addition to Thurles winner Mahlers Cove and Take My Hand.

There should be more to come from NEMEAN, who upped his game when second at Wexford last time and remains low mileage in this sphere. Crafty Gael and Mahlers Cove head the list of dangers.

Preference is for CRAFTY GAEL(nap) who was a good second in a competitive contest here last month and looks progressive

LTO Selection:

15:50 Taunton Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Mr Tambourine Man has been consistent over hurdles and is likely to make a bold bid to land a hat-trick of wins in this discipline. However, he steps back up in class and has another 7lb to shoulder on his first outing since May. Therefore, the vote goes to APPLE ROCK, who has enjoyed a fine campaign, winning three on the bounce, and is taken to bounce back from a slightly below-par display at Ascot last month. Iberio completes the shortlist.

The one with the most compelling claims is APPLE ROCK, who typically found plenty for pressure when completing the hat-trick here at the end of last year. He looked a little short of full match-fitness back from 7 weeks off at Ascot and, with that run under his belt, the 9-y-o can resume winning ways. My Last Oscar, also a C&D winner on his sole previous visit to Taunton, may emerge as the main danger given that this trip is a concern for both Iberio and Mr Tambourine Man.

Provided his stamina holds out back over 3m, IBERIO could well register a third course success. Apple Rock is second choice.

LTO Selection:

15:55 Hexham Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LISSEN TO THE LADY displayed a very willing attitude to get her head in front over C&D last time out and that looks like the best recent form on offer. She can follow up at the main expense of Blazing Port, who has been shaping as though he could be well suited by going up in trip. One Fer Mamma is another capable gelding on his day.

LISSEN TO THE LADY still looks on a winning mark despite taking a 4 lb rise for her recent C&D success so looks the way to go here. Blazing Port is proving a consistent sort and appeals as the one to chase home Sandy Forster's mare ahead of C&D winner Atomic Angel.

The mare LISSEN TO THE LADY will be very tough to beat if in the same good heart as when winning a big-field C&D handicap last time.

LTO Selection:

16:00 Limerick Handicap Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

This represents a drop in class for COVENTRY and he holds each-way claims. The last time he ran in this grade he came in second at Punchestown in October. He is very much at home on soft ground and Corey McGivern lessens the top-weight's burden by 7lb. Vinnie Is Busy won a Ballinrobe maiden hurdle in August last year for Charles Byrnes and hasn't been sighted since. He runs this track well as he won his bumper here and has been placed in a maiden hurdle and in a beginners' chase. He looks to have plenty of talent. Missiee always has to be given plenty of respect on testing ground. She loves the mud flying and scored over 2m4f at this track at Christmas. A line can readily be put through her last run on much better ground. Ardera Ru and Alpesh Amin add further intrigue to this competitive race.

ALPESH AMIN followed his course win with a good Thurles fourth on his handicap bow and gets the verdict with more improvement on the cards. Ardera Ru is next on the list on the back of her Gowran victory with the returning Vinnie Is Busy another who can have a say in an open handicap.

A former hurdle winner here, LOW LIE THE FIELDS didn't really take to fences but can win again reverting to hurdles.

LTO Selection:

16:10 Warwick Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MIDNIGHT GINGER is only 2lb higher than when successful at Newbury on New Year's Eve and having managed only fifth over 2m4f at Ffos Las subsequently, a drop in trip and grade could help Andrew Martin's mare regain the winning thread. Lipa K was very disappointing when sent off favourite on his handicap debut, but he retains potential and could take a step forward. The consistent Krypton Gold rates best of the remainder.

MIDNIGHT GINGER added to her tally at Newbury on New Year's Eve and dropping in grade here, Andrew Martin's charge gets the verdict to score again. Lipa K proved a let-down on handicap debut last month, but it's too soon to be writing him off, so he may pose as the main threat, while a case could be made for the remaining duo, also.

Not seen to best effect in a tactical race three weeks ago, KRYPTON GOLD can take this prize if able to replicate his autumn form.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

KALANISI DUBH finished unplaced when a big price for a Grade 3 novice hurdle in Clonmel, but this should be more to her liking. Her previous two runs saw her win at Down Royal before being beaten by a head at the same track. Thecornerhouse has turned the corner. She has sealed victories in her last couple of starts in Thurles and in Down Royal when notably strong on the run-in. She drops back in trip, but the question is whether the handicapper has her measure off 10lb higher. Memory Of Youth has claims on her third place over further in Fairyhouse. The Connector delivered in Punchestown and will have plenty of supporters. Miss Tempo is returning off a long absence, but was formerly useful.

Sure to prove strong form for the grade with THECORNERHOUSE, who is improving in leaps and bounds, just about the most persuasive option in her quest for the hat-trick. The Connector did it nicely at Punchestown and he's of serious interest again, while Clear The Clouds can be excused his latest run and his work remains a workable one.

It might be worth chancing JOSHUA CHAMBERLAIN who has shown ability and rates as a likely improver on handicap debut

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A highly-encouraging second on his chase debut at Market Rasen, HOWYOUPLAYTHEGAME must hold every chance if building upon that career-best effort. The selection remains unexposed and gets the vote ahead of 16-race maiden Prime Pretender, who has been disappointing of late but will enjoy these conditions. Treasure Dillon and Flash Gorcombe can pick up the pieces if each of the aforementioned pair falter.

HOWYOUPLAYTHEGAME looked a different proposition switched to a handicap over fences when second at Market Rasen 18 days ago and this looks a good chance for him to go one place better. None of his rivals look particularly solid but Flash Gorcombe showed enough at Exeter to think he can be a factor from his lowly mark.

Unexposed HOWYOUPLAYTHEGAME is taken to build on his Market Rasen effort and go one better. Prime Pretender is second choice.

LTO Selection:

16:30 Hexham Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Ex S'elance (winner) and Trevelyn's Corn (second) fought out a good finish over C&D a fortnight ago and are respected. The revised terms give the latter an edge on this occasion. Nevertheless, EN MEME TEMPS is well handicapped in comparison to his hurdles rating and edges preference over a trip that should ideally suit. Pileup has scope to improve over fences and is also considered.

Most of these arrive with a question mark against them so this looks a good opportunity for PILEUP to build on an encouraging Market Rasen debut second in this sphere and gain his breakthrough success. Trevelyn's Corn is feared most on the back of his good recent C&D second, especially if the fitting of cheekpieces ekes out some improvement. Broomfields Kan appeals as the pick of the remainder now he drops back in trip.

There are risks with PILEUP's jumping but he did well to finish second on his recent chase debut over C&D having made two bad mistakes.

16:35 Limerick Handicap Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CAPTAIN JIMMY was an easy winner over an extended 3m in the basement grade at Punchestown and appeals. He was unplaced on his next outing, but that was in a much higher grade and, restored to this level, ought to be a player. Holiday In Kerry was caught on the run-in of a 3m handicap hurdle at Clonmel and finished third, but has winning form over 2m6f at this track. The more rain the better for him. Merry Moves has to rate a danger after grabbing her first victory here this month. She got a 7lb rise for that success, but the ground will be fine and she could go well again. Alpha Male is entitled to come on from his spin over the banks in Punchestown after being off for nearly nine months. Hanoi Jane and Church Lane aren't out of it.

HANOI JANE signalled she is ready to open her account when a very good Punchestown fourth and looks the way to go off a handy-looking mark back in handicap company. Course winner Holiday In Kerry is another weighted to have a say while handicap debutante Like Ta Ma and recent course scorer Merry Moves need factoring in too.

A hopeful selection, MRS WATSON ran a solid race on her comeback at Thurles last time and might improve enough to score.

16:45 Warwick Hunter Chase (Class 6) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ZAMPARELLI was probably in need of the run when pulled up in a Larkhill point-to-point last month and the 11-year-old, a dual winner in this sphere, should fare much better with that run under his belt. Firak struck between the flags 11 days ago and he ought to be more than capable of mounting a stern challenge here, while Gaboriot could sharpen up for the addition of first-time blinkers and shouldn't be underestimated.

This isn't a particularly strong race and FIRAK, who confirmed his well-being with an easy win between the flags 11 days ago, is taken to make a successful debut in this sphere. Zee Man's jumping is certainly no less of a concern following his recent fall at Fakenham and Zamparelli is the clear main danger.

Fred Hutsby's ZEE MAN has a mixed record this season but he gave a very good account of himself when third at Southwell this month.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TANGENTAL has bright prospects. It could be argued that he was somewhat unlucky to lose by a head in Thurles after he was less than fluent at the last and stumbled badly on the run-in before rallying. The winner has since scored again and Tangental was eight lengths clear of the third home. Furthermore, he won his previous staying handicap at Clonmel. Morrie In D Quarry has been placed in two of his last three handicap hurdles and is capable of landing more prize money. My Friend The Wind reverts to hurdles from fences and has better claims than most. Duffys Getaway is better than he showed in Down Royal. A tongue-strap is tried on him. Townhill Penny could have a say, but would prefer better ground. Elsannah could improve for a step up in trip.

TANGENTAL is going the right way and was just denied at Thurles recently, so he makes most appeal for all that there are others open to improvement, notably Do Whatever, who should be suited by the longer trip. Townhill Penny is also worth considering if strong in the betting.

Tangental warrants respect but DO WHATEVER shades the vote with the potential for this new trip to yield improvement

17:00 Taunton NH Flat Race (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Narrowly denied at Exeter last time out, PENTIRE HEAD has shown more than enough in both career outings to suggest that he can get off the mark on this occasion. Conditions should be of no inconvenience and he can get the better of Mr Mackay, who ran creditably in Listed company on his penultimate start. Johnnywho appeals most of the newcomers as an Irish point-to-point winner.

JOHNNYWHO is of strong interest on this Rules debut given that he had none other than subsequent Grade 1 hurdles winner Hermes Allen back in third when easily winning a maiden point in October 2021. This scenario probably won't be entirely ideal but the hint should nevertheless be taken if the market speaks in his favour. It was disappointing that Mr Mackay failed to land the odds at Hereford last time, and it's possible that Pentire Head and Bhaloo will emerge as the main dangers.

The vote goes to interesting rules debutant JOHNNYWHO. Pentire Head is feared most.

Donald McCain has a good record in bumpers lately and his Queen Of Hindsight is respected on her racecourse bow, while Knacker Trapper and Cave Hill are entitled to improve on what they've shown so far and warrant a betting check at least. However, preference is for point-to-point runner-up CHANCE THE ROBIN, whose Rules debut second at Ayr was franked by the winner going in again.

CHANCE THE ROBIN ran with plenty of promise on his Ayr debut and can open his account in the finale. Knacker Trapper may be the one to chase him home.

Irish raider CHANCE THE ROBIN was a promising second on his debut at Ayr in January and he can go one better.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Gavin Cromwell won this race last year and could repeat the feat with point-to-point graduate BIOLUMINESCENCE. She was an impressive winner of a point-to-point in November and is half-sister to a mare who won a point-to-point before winning her bumper on track debut. Willie Mullins takes the wraps off Junta Marvel who will know her job and is an obvious danger. Two Of Us Know Now is related to a whole host of winners and market support would be significant. Another to monitor for market strength is Make Sunshine. Young Lucy is another place contender.

The market will no doubt reveal plenty but Willie Mullins' newcomer JUNTA MARVEL catches the eye on paper and is taken to make a winning start. Fellow debutante Bioluminescence is another who could have a big say and is next on the list ahead of Katherine, who appeals as the pick of those with experience

Willie Mullins introduces JUNTA MARVEL, who is a token selection ahead of fellow debutante Bioluminescence

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Monbari is out of a half-sister to the high-class chaser Saint Calvados, while Viscount Vinyl and Elle Est Beau are expensive purchases that certainly warrant a market inspection. That said, marginal preference is for SOLAR SYSTEM, who is a half-brother to three winners in France and he would be dangerous to let slip under the radar on his racecourse debut.

The betting may help point the way but it's hard to get away from ELLE EST BEAU and Coastal Rock on paper and they are the two against the field before market clues.

The pick is COASTAL ROCK, who is from a fairly good French Flat family and represents a stable with a very good bumper strike-rate.

MIRAZUR WEST is a full brother to the top-class Ferny Hollow who won the Cheltenham Festival Champion Bumper three years ago. This five-year-old gelding fell at the last when winning his point-to-point and has moved to Willie Mullins for his track career which is eagerly anticipated. Mahon's Way made a whopping 360,000 guineas at the Cheltenham November Sale after winning his point-to-point by a comfortable four lengths. He is certainly of interest on track debut for Henry de Bromhead. Ask Anything is a point-to-point winner who has had the benefit of a run in a bumper in which he finished fifth. He's My Hero showed promise when a close second in a point-to-point almost a year ago.

MIRAZUR WEST is a brother to Ferny Hollow and was in front when coming down at the last in a point, so he seems like the obvious way to go starting out for Willie Mullins. Mahon's Way, another expensive acquisition, looks the obvious danger in a race where those with bumper experience don't set the bar very high.

Preference is for Ferny Hollow's brother MIRAZUR WEST, who would have won a Dromahane point but for falling

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A comfortable winner over C&D on his penultimate start, BASCINET didn't see out two miles last time out and he should be far more at home over this trip. The four-year-old remains a progressive sort and can see off the likes of Leopolds Rock and Cedar Cage, who should be well suited by the step up in trip. Good Time Ahead has been plying his trade over hurdles of late and is interesting on his return to this sphere.

Having fallen in the weights this year, CEDAR CAGE got back on track when third here 12 days ago and he can build on that effort to take advantage of a further drop in grade. The biggest threat could be Bascinet, who had been in good form prior to a below-par effort last time, while Leopolds Rock also merits consideration with his recent run behind him.

Front-running on BASCINET has its difficulties, as was shown on his latest start, but he is the clear pick if that is forgiven.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

This looks the weaker of the two divisions but potentially presents DIAMOND RI with an ideal opportunity to get off the mark. An 82,000-euro purchase, the gelding is respected as he bids to emulate his half-brother Pencilfulloflead by winning a bumper on his racecourse bow. Geezer Rockstar and Pearl Island are others to closely monitor in the betting, with the former offering stronger appeal on his introduction for an in-form yard.

Once again the betting could help sort these out. DIAMOND RI has appealing claims on paper and is preferred over Geezer Rockstar and Tout Sur Moi at this stage.

It might be worth chancing TOUCH OF THUNDER, who has an interesting mix of Flat and jumps winner in his pedigree.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Now that the penny has dropped for impressive C&D winner FAYASEL, there could be plenty more improvement forthcoming from the three-year-old as he looks to follow up. Olympic Quest has shown enough pace over further the last twice to suggest that the drop in trip may suit, while Rossmore Nation is one of the most consistent having finished no worse than second on three of his last four starts.

SPARKS FLY shaped well at this C&D last time, nearest at the finish having been left poorly placed from the widest draw, so she remains with potential having only her second start in a handicap. David Loughnane's filly is taken to open her account, with last-time-out C&D winner Fayasel heading the list of dangers, ahead of Rossmore Nation.

Fayasel showed improved form to win over C&D last time but he went up 9lb and is taken on with MR GLOVERMAN, who ran well last time

18:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The step up in trip can work the oracle for CALIN'S LAD as he looks to regain the winning thread off a tumbling handicap mark. The booking of Oisin Murphy is another plus and might be enough to see him hold off the likes of Motawaafeq, who beat him narrowly over C&D last April, and the capable Always Fearless, who has placed twice over further here.

BELEAGUERMENT was deemed to be a non-runner in unusual circumstances at Wolverhampton on Tuesday but the weight of support for him suggested he was expected to cash in on his basement mark. He's worth siding with in favour of Calin's Lad and Motawaafeq.

It could be worth siding with GAME NATION in a tricky event. He shaped with more encouragement last time and the drop to 7f may help.

Cicero's Gift was a comfortable winner on his racecourse debut at Newbury in October and should be respected on his Tapeta debut returning from a break, but he has to shoulder a 7lb penalty for that success. Therefore, preference is for the Eve Johnson Houghton-trained BUSSENTO, who was only narrowly denied on his most recent outing, also at Newbury, in September. Docklands is another to bear in mind.

DOCKLANDS made a really promising start to his career when runner-up at Haydock in the autumn, second despite coming from an unpromising position. This trip is sure to suit on pedigree and the 9 lb he receives from a Cicero's Gift could be decisive.

A decent event in which DOCKLANDS is taken to confirm the promise of his first run at Haydock last summer. That form has been franked.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Papal Music kept on for second over a marginally shorter trip at Kempton last month and commands respect. He makes his handicap debut here and should not be taken lightly, but FLAME OF KODIAC finished a decent third over 7f at Chelmsford earlier this month and shades the vote for powerful connections. She could take a big step forward over this trip. Evolicatt also warrants a market check.

A few with chances but CHURCHILL ROSE appeals as the sort who could take a sizeable step forward now going handicapping up in trip so she gets the vote. Dee's Dream should strip fitter for her Kempton sixth after a lay-off and is feared most ahead of Flame of Kodiac and Evolicatt.

This can go the way of FLAME OF KODIAC (nap), who looks on a handy mark for this handicap debut and the step up to this trip should suit

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DYNAMIC TALENT is just 1lb above his last winning mark and, with a spin at Kempton last month entitled to have blown away the cobwebs, he looks worth chancing back at that scene of his last success. A draw near the rails could be beneficial for the selection and it would come as no surprise to see him set a good tempo. Athmad bids for a three-timer and could pounce if the selection's stamina falters. Young Fire and Soames Forsyte add further spice to the race.

ATHMAD scored with something to spare over C&D last time and he's worth a chance to follow up at the likely expense of Young Fire, who also arrives on the back of a success here. Oh Herberts Reign is also considered.

The two recent winners aren't guaranteed a strong pace so both are taken on with OH HERBERTS REIGN, who can break a losinng run.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

GOOD HUMOR seems to need plenty of coaxing but he retains enough ability to be of interest in a weak race such as this. The drop to 7f might have been the reason for a modest display here 13 days ago and he is far more appealing back over this trip. Buachaill just edged out the selection on his penultimate start and is respected, while Le Bayou and Ballet Blanc also appeal in race lacking huge depth.

SHINING CRYSTAL couldn't justify market support on debut for a shrewd yard last time but she's worth another chance in a weak race. Ballet Blanc is worth a market check on debut for Richard Price with a top jockey on board and Non Mollare is worthy of respect.

A couple of these have claims but this can go to recent C&D winner BUACHAILL, who should be suited by the return to this trip

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
