17:20 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Billy McGarry goes in search of a hat-trick having landed a brace of successes at Southwell recently and he is respected, although Andrea Pinna will need to be alert breaking out of stall 11. A chance, though, is taken on REBEL COVE. Simon Hodgson's four-year-old hinted at ability across her three runs in novice company but stepping up to a mile should suit, and an opening mark of 47 may well underestimate the daughter of Ribchester. Wyvern and Dappled Light are others to consider.

Irish challenger GATSBY CAP is a fascinating contender given that he has dropped to a handy mark and the stable is 2-2 here this month.

17:55 Wolverhampton (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

RED SAND won a decent novice at Goodwood in May and although not seen since, Ed Walker's colt could be useful and, being related to a couple of winners on the all-weather, it would come as no surprise were he good enough to defy a penalty. Warrior Mode provided Sir Mark Prescott with a winning debutant over C&D recently so he should not be underestimated, while Arundel, who shaped with promise over a mile at Southwell recently, is also noted.

An entry in the 2,000 Guineas suggests that JOLLY ROGER is well regarded by the Crisford stable and he can defy a penalty on his return.

18:30 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A confident vote goes to GINCIDENT, who was able to justify strong market support to win on his stable debut at Leicester earlier this month. He's now 3lb higher back on the all-weather but that should be no barrier to further success, and a low draw ought to be favourable too. Drawn next door to the selection, Novak should be a threat from an unchanged mark, having struck the woodwork at Southwell last time out. How's The Guvnor looked in need of the outing here last month, but it would come as no surprise were he to show more today.

An uncompetitive race in which GINCIDENT looks to have been found a good oportunity to make it 2-2 for James Owen.

19:00 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A 5lb rise for winning over C&D recently is a concern for Romantic Spirit but she should not be discounted. However, preference is for I'LL GIVE IT A GO, who has shown plenty of promise in novice/maiden company and an opening mark of 67 should be workable on her handicap bow. Magic Runner was narrowly denied over this track and trip when last seen in December and is another with strong form claims.

There may still be better to come from ROMANTIC SPIRIT following her successful reappearance over C&D last month.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SLOWDOWNBARNEY had plenty in hand when winning over C&D 12 days ago and the Irish raider is very hard to oppose, despite a 7lb rise. Moon Over The Sea also scored over this track and trip on his most recent outing and could prove to be the main threat to the selection, although Grand Duchess Olga and Black Smoke should not be discounted.

Despite a 7lb higher mark it's hard to oppose SLOWDOWNBARNEY (nap), who scored by nearly 5l over C&D this month.

20:00 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A track-and-trip winner last month, KENSINGTON AGENT is handily drawn to launch a bold bid and could be tough to deal with given that a 2lb higher rating is unlikely to blunt his challenge by much. Southbank has posted all his best form over 6f and reverts to this trip with a big chance of being a key player, while Radiant Angel and Saffredi are others capable of getting competitive.

The return to 6f and the prospect of a well-run race could see SOUTHBANK resume winning ways. Radiant Angel is next best.

20:30 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ROYAL ACCORD was a popular and ultimately correct choice in the betting market when he cosily landed a similarly modest handicap at Lingfield last week. A 5lb higher mark looks very fair and it would be no surprise to see him follow up in this company. Wee Mary went down fighting when second to heavily-backed winner on her handicap debut at Southwell 15 days ago. She should have more to offer on just her second start for Rebecca Menzies. Trust Sergei and Baby Rover complete the shortlist.

Royal Accord is solid after breaking his duck nine days ago but AUNTIE JO can bounce back from her low-key Southwell effort.
