13:35 Navan Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TOTO TOO's proven ability on soft ground will serve him well with plenty of rain expected in Navan on Friday. Peter Fahey's Ocovango gelding travelled well before landing a bumper in Killarney on his second start. Afterwards, Fahey mentioned Graded bumpers as potential targets, so he clearly thinks a bit of this horse who now goes over flights. Faux Fur was placed in three bumpers before disappointing in Galway. She could be a factor on her hurdling debut. Reversal is a newcomer to note as he is related to a host of multiple winners. Rosalys (on Irish debut) and But What may not want too much cut in the ground, but do come here after winning bumpers at Huntingdon and Punchestown respectively. Ivana, Hashtag Pretender, Musta Lovea Lovea and Verbal Sparring all have chances.

TOTO TOO has created a good impression in bumpers and is bred to be at least as good over hurdles, so he's put forward as the answer to an interesting maiden hurdle. Fellow bumper winners Rosalys and Ivana warrant plenty of respect, with Hashtag Pretender clear pick of those with hurdling experience.

MUSTA LOVEA LOVEA shaped like he needed his return and this drop in trip with blinkers fitted should work

13:40 Bath Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

JOHN BETJEMAN has been a reliable performer under both codes this year and the seven-year-old, who was last seen on the level finishing second at Salisbury in May, can be rewarded for his consistency. Fen Tiger has gone close on his last couple of starts, most recently when beaten a neck at Brighton. He is likely to be in the mix again, while others capable of a decent showing include Nevendon and Man Of The Sea.

The really interesting one is MAN OF THE SEA, who is very well weighted judged on his exploits in Jersey and the booking of a leading amateur is a sign of intent. Fen Tiger is sure to be plugging on, with Idilico one to monitor in the market for a new yard down in class.

Former hurdler SILVER ATOM goes up in trip off a basement mark for his Flat handicap debut and earns the vote ahead of Fen Tiger.

LTO Selection:

13:50 Doncaster Group 2 (Class 1) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

This year's Champagne Stakes is all about ROSALLION, who hasn't put a foot wrong in his two starts to date and this looks a good opportunity to continue his winning thread. Richard Hannon's colt was very impressive when making mincemeat of a Listed field at Ascot and is expected to continue his ascent towards the top. Iberian might pose him the most questions after a good second in the Vintage Stakes. Mountain Bear was just behind Charlie Hills' youngster at Glorious Goodwood and heads the remainder.

Hard to oppose ROSALLION, who looked potentially very smart when slamming his rivals in the Pat Eddery at Ascot. Iberian was still green when runner-up in the Vintage Stakes at Glorious Goodwood and is a clear next best.

It is hard to look beyond ROSALLION, who was very impressive in the Listed Pat Eddery Stakes at Ascot last time.

LTO Selection:

13:58 Lingfield Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ALMATY STAR wasn't disgraced in fourth in a first-time hood at Newmarket last time, and he was dropped 2lb for that display. That still leaves the son of Kodiac 17lb clear of his nearest rival Make Clear, so he should find this a straightforward task. As for the latter, she has hit the crossbar on two of her three starts and looks the clear second best. Bringhomethebacon warrants a market check on debut.

This looks a gilt-edged opportunity for ALMATY STAR to get off the mark, with Robert Cowell's Make Clear the one likely to follow him home.

Roger Varian's ALMATY STAR possesses much the best form and looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to gain a first victory

LTO Selection:

14:05 Chester Listed (Class 1) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

This represents a significant drop in grade for the classy BLUESTOCKING, who was last seen finishing a highly creditable fourth in the Yorkshire Oaks. The daughter of Camelot can take advantage under ideal conditions and notch up a deserved first win since her debut at Salisbury last September. Modaara was disappointing when well fancied for a Group 3 at Haydock last time out and better can be expected now, while Sea Of Roses is a player based on the pick of her form.

An excellent opportunity for BLUESTOCKING to open her account for the season dropping markedly in class. Modaara rates the main threat having had excuses in the Pinnacle Stakes at Haydock.

This looks a good opportunity for BLUESTOCKING to record her first win of a consistent campaign. Sea Of Roses is second choice.

This looks a good opportunity for 135-rated AMIR KABIR. Since winning a novice hurdle in Listowel almost a year ago, he has been campaigned in graded company with a best finish of third in a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Fairyhouse. A spin in a charity race on the Flat in the Curragh towards the end of August should have him fresh for this. Nyiri won a conditions hurdle on very soft ground in France last December. He was a market drifter before his Irish debut in Cork last month where he finished fourth, but is likely to be much closer here. Amir Kabir's stablemate, Set Point, didn't feature on the beach at Laytown on Tuesday, but has been keeping decent company over hurdles including when second in a valuable handicap hurdle at Bellewstown in July.

NYIRI shaped well under a considerate ride on last month's stable debut at Cork and this looks a good opportunity to confirm the promise of that run. Amir Kabir is feared most out of the Gordon Elliott-trained pair.

A good chance for AMIR KABIR to register a third win over hurdles; entitled to improve from his Irish debut, Nyiri merits respect

LTO Selection:

14:15 Bath Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CENTURION DREAM may have been inconvenienced by a combination of a quick turnaround and softer conditions on his third start at Goodwood, following a couple of promising efforts at Newmarket. A repeat of his third the time before would give him strong credentials of getting off the mark. Unreal Connection landed an Epsom maiden on her latest outing and has to be of interest on her nursery debut, with Tactical Control expected to benefit from stepping up in trip.

QUICKFIRE comes here on the back of a very good Salisbury second so looks the way to go racing off a 2 lb lower mark now. Tactical Control is feared most in his bid for a breakthrough success ahead of another in-form maiden Blue Collar.

Not much went to plan for BLUE COLLAR at York last month but his sights are lowered for this second nursery and he retains potential.

LTO Selection:

14:25 Doncaster Handicap (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

CALL ME GINGER arrives on a hat-trick after wins at Chester and Ascot, and he can defend his crown. Jim Goldie's sprinter is running off a 2lb higher mark than when he was promoted to first in this contest last year, at the expense of Chipstead, and that may not halt his progression. Better can be expected from Intrinsic Bond after he struggled to land a blow when sent off a well-backed favourite at York, while Stewards' Cup hero Aberama Gold commands respect with cut in the ground likely. Throw Happy Romance, Makanah and Get It into the mix too.

Last year's victor CALL ME GINGER looks to have arrived in peak form again and can complete a quick hat-trick after stylish recent successes at Chester and Ascot. The Big Board could find this intermediate trip to his liking and is feared most, although Significantly is another who could shine at this distance and merits serious consideration. Vintage Clarets, Kimngrace and Aberama Gold complete the shortlist in a fiercely competitive renewal of the Portland.

The promoted 2022 winner Call Me Ginger is respected but DUSKY LORD (nap) can return to his best form in the refitted cheekpieces.

14:33 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ARTISAN DANCER goes in search of the hat-trick after his neck success at Chelmsford over an extended 1m5f, and he could continue to improve with this further rise in distance likely to suit. The three-year-old was only put up 4lb for his latest victory and is taken to go in again. Team Endeavour has put up some solid efforts recently over this trip, including his fourth at Kempton last time, and he's respected in a first-time visor. Capricorn Prince completes the shortlist.

ARTISAN DANCER had more in hand than the bare margin suggests when winning at Chelmsford 2 weeks ago and looks up to completing the hat-trick. Capricorn Prince can place again.

This looks a good opportunity for ARTISAN DANCER (nap) to complete a hat-trick and he is taken to defy his latest 4lb rise.

LTO Selection:

14:40 Chester Handicap (Class 3) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A comfortable winner over C&D last month, FIRST IMPRESSION can take this slight rise in grade in his stride, despite a 5lb rise. The six-year-old is proven on this ground and he may have too much for Sweet Reward, who arrives in great form, having won two of his last three. Newcastle winner Southern Voyage is another to consider on his first run for the Richard Fahey stable, along with the capable Box To Box.

WISPER is reliant on luck in running given how she's ridden but she's a mare at the very top of her game and she's just about the most persuasive option. First Impression and Sweet Reward both posted career-best efforts last time and demand respect, while Dark Pine and Baryshnikov lurk on a dangerous mark.

Course form means a lot. FIRST IMPRESSION (nap) showed his liking for Chester when winning over C&D last month and can defy a 5lb rise.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

GORDONS AURA finished third in a rated hurdle at Downpatrick behind a couple of horses rated 126 and 130. He doesn't meet horses with those ratings here and has to be appealing with Georgie Benson taking 7lb off his back. First Dare was outgunned on the run-in at Tramore and has a shot at compensation. That race confirmed her aptitude for rain-softened ground and her trainer, Liz Doyle, has had two winners from her last four runners at the time of writing. Jody Townend is a notable booking for Banntown Girl who has two victories in her locker. Scott Lang has previously enjoyed himself on the Flat at this track while Ricky Langford knows where the winning post is. Cash The Cheque should give Anna McGuinness a good spin.

FIRST DARE proved as good as ever when runner-up at Tramore last month and a reproduction of that form could be good enough to see her go one better here. Gordons Aura and Banntown Girl are a couple of others who make appeal.

This can go the way of FIRST DARE (nap) who posted a career best latest and she can give Maxine O'Sullivan back-to-back wins in this

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ROCKET WARRIOR took a decent step forward from his debut effort when fourth at Yarmouth and that piece of form appears to be the standout on paper. The son of Saxon Warrior is open to further improvement and gets the vote to strike at the third attempt. Hieloray displayed signs of greenness when benefiting from a step up in trip to finish fourth at Chepstow and is likely to progress again, while Continuance and Leguizamo can fight it out for the minor placings.

ROCKET WARRIOR just holds the edge on form and with the prospect of more to come then Marco Botti's son of Saxon Warrior edges the vote from Continuance, who also remains with potential on the back of his recent Goodwood fifth. Hieloray is another who can have a say if building on his Chepstow fourth.

The vote goes to CONTINUANCE, who appears to have an easier task than previously. Rocket Warrior is second choice.

15:00 Doncaster Group 2 (Class 1) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

SPYCATCHER has been a model of consistency this term and he appears primed to offer another bold bid. Karl Burke's charge was only just touched off in the Group 1 Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville last month and this extra yardage seems likely to see him to even better effect. Audience is the highest rated of these and ranks as the biggest danger after a close second in the City Of York Stakes. Sandrine, who finished a head behind in third on the Knavesmire, should also be challenging at the line.

SPYCATCHER was taken out of the Haydock Sprint Cup last Saturday on account of the quickish ground and Karl Burke's thriving 5-y-o can justify the decision to wait for a week and land the biggest prize of his career. Last month's City of York 2-3 Audience and Sandrine can give him most to do.

Slow ground would be right up SPYCATCHER's street and he earns the vote having gone very close in the Group 1 Prix Maurice de Gheest.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

AMBIENTE AMIGO justified her cramped odds to score by seven lengths over 7f on the grass at this track latest, and she could improve plenty for this step up in trip. The daughter of Postponed looks well placed to defy her 7lb penalty. Tokyo Dreamer sets the standard with a rating of 71 after she struck over 7f here, and she now attempts this distance for the first time. Blenheim Star could also have a say.

AMBIENTE AMIGO produced a dominant display when opening her account second time up in the mud here at Lingfield 6 weeks ago, and with further progress on the cards, Michael Bell's filly is likely to prove a tough nut to crack. The main danger may emerge from Really Darn Hot, who left her debut form well behind upped in trip when finishing runner-up at Wolverhampton recently and she should have more to offer, while Blenheim Star and Checkmeout can do battle for minor honours.

The suggestion is AMBIENTE AMIGO, whose easy turf win here suggests she could be destined for better things. She can defy a penalty.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Third in the valuable Convivial maiden at York, THANKS FOREVER showed more than enough on his debut to suggest that he would be getting off the mark in no time. His prominent style of racing should stand him in good stead, especially at a track of this nature, and the son of Kessaar gets the vote at the expense of Beverley runner-up Winged Messenger. Ziggy's Dream, who is winless since her debut at Doncaster in April, appeals most of the remainder.

THANKS FOREVER emerged best of the newcomers when third in a valuable maiden at York last month and has to be considered the one to beat with improvement on the cards. Winged Messenger bumped into one that's gone in again since on his most recent outing at Beverley and ought to prove the main threat, especially with the step up to 6f likely to bring about further progress. Ottoman Force will be sharper for his debut and is taken to fill the places.

This can go to THANKS FOREVER who made a very promising debut when third of 14 in the Convivial Maiden at York last month.

15:20 Navan Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ONLY ONE PLAN has been in a consistent vein of form this year and could reap the benefits with a second success. Slower ground is very much in his favour as he showed when delivering at Roscommon in June. There could be another victory in Mr MacPhisto based on his running-on second at Cork in July. He has been lightly raced since winning at Kilbeggan in July last year, but his last run was definitely a step in the right direction after three unplaced outings. Jinxs Link was a ready winner on his penultimate start in Kilbeggan. He couldn't justify favouritism when dropping to fifth over slightly further at the same track, but should be involved on ground he will enjoy.

Plenty arrive with decent claims, including UP AND OUT. Gordon Elliott's mare has been shaping up well in similar company of late, not least when runner-up at Sligo on her penultimate start, and she earns the vote dropped a little in trip. Only One Plan and handicap-debutante Got To Fly are just a couple of others to consider.

It might be worth taking a chance on PRINCESS SOPHIA who won at the beginning of the campaign and has been freshened up for this

LTO Selection:

15:25 Bath Handicap (Class 2) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

BEGGARMAN has claimed successive second placings at this venue and he can go one better. Hughie Morrison's charge was only beaten three-quarters of a length last time and another bold bid can be expected off the same mark. Cherry Cola won well over C&D on Wednesday and is feared most, although she may be vulnerable under a 4lb penalty. Lusaka has accounted for her, as well as the selection, this summer but has top weight to contend with. Book Of Tales is another to consider.

A competitive handicap with plenty arriving in top form, and a tentative vote goes to BEGGARMAN, who's taken to gain reward for a consistent spell now fitted with first-time eyeshields and visor. Lusaka, Cherry Cola and Zillion are a trio of potential threats.

Unlike most of these, GREASED LIGHTNING could have some improvement lurking as a stayer and his latest race didn't go to plan.

LTO Selection:

15:35 Doncaster Group 1 (Class 1) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

The recent rain on Town Moor sees Frankie Dettori switch from Queen Vase's hero Gregory to beaten Derby favourite ARREST and that factor is likely to make a big difference. The former lost his unbeaten record when a one-paced third to Continuous in the Great Voltigeur, and the York winner also has questions to answer, with the combination of softer ground and the extra couple of furlongs potentially not suiting Aidan O'Brien's colt. Arrest bounced back from failures on ground faster than ideal in the Derby and at Royal Ascot when taking the Geoffrey Freer at Newbury. Testing conditions are clearly important to the son of Frankel and the extra yardage promises to yield further improvement. Desert Hero has progressed nicely this season, with victories at Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood, the latter occasion seeing him get the better of Chesspiece. Melrose winner Middle Earth, who was supplemented earlier in the week, is another with solid credentials.

Just the 9 runners for the oldest Classic but it has a very open feel to it. CONTINUOUS took his form to a whole new level in a well-run race when a decisive winner of the Great Voltigeur Stakes at York and that marks him out as the one to beat with this trip likely to unlock even more. Gregory failed to land the odds in that race but he carried a penalty that day and this contest will play to his strengths (though Dettori now rides Arrest). At longer odds, Tower of London cannot be ruled out.

The St Leger can go to Great Voltigeur hero CONTINUOUS ahead of Arrest and Gregory, with Desert Hero also shortlisted.

LTO Selection:

15:42 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Cosa Sara wasn't beaten far over 1m at Carlisle last time and she appears likely to go close off the same mark. Jim Goldie's runner was denied a clear run when things started to hot up on that occasion and this looks a good opportunity to get her head back in front. War Defender is likely to be the selection's closest pursuer after struggling to recover from a slow start over 1m1f at this venue last time, while Chinese Spirit should also be thereabouts.

A winner over C&D 2 starts back, CHINESE SPIRIT again ran well when third at Hamilton 11 days ago and, in the hope they go a good clip, he could well be up to going in again. War Defender and Cosa Sara head up the dangers.

Cosa Sara looked unlucky last week at Carlisle but, with rain forecast, preference is for WAR DEFENDER (nap).

LTO Selection:

15:47 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Call Me The Breeze didn't show much across her three qualifying runs, but the 135,000gns purchase, a daughter of Iffraaj, is bred to be far better than an opening mark of 52. It would be no surprise were she to step forward on her handicap bow, but marginal preference is for TROPICAL AIR. Charlie Johnston's charge was dropped 2lb having finished third over an extended 5f at Brighton 12 days ago, and the step up to seven furlongs could be key. Recent Chelmsford scorer Rising Force is also noted.

Back on all-weather with a hood applied, RISING FORCE opened his account at Chelmsford a fortnight ago and he can score again now that he's up and running. Brooklyn Express got back on track making his all-weather debut last time and could be the main danger, while Tropical Air may yet do better upped in trip.

A weak nursery in which RISING FORCE may not need to improve to repeat his Chelmsford success, with headgear now discarded.

DUE FOR LUCK was able to defy a penalty to follow up at Ripon 18 days ago, having made a successful debut at Carlisle the previous month. With that in mind, an opening mark of 83 might underestimate the Due Diligence gelding and he is taken to maintain his unbeaten record. Midnight Lir finished second to one that went on to occupy the same position in a warm York nursery next time and must be respected. Hackman heads the remainder.

DUE FOR LUCK marked himself down as potentially useful when maintaining his 100% record under a penalty at Ripon 18 days ago, impressing with how he travelled/his response to pressure and, with the prospect of more to come now handicapping, he can make it 3-3 operating from the plum draw. 15:55 Navan Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Be My Hero has obvious claims after being pipped by a head in a handicap hurdle at Bellewstown last month. He is a longstanding maiden, so perhaps this will be the day he makes the breakthrough off a handy weight, however he would prefer better ground so preference is for EDGE OF MY SEAT. She was a fair second in Kilbeggan and then wasn't beaten overly far into fifth at Ballinrobe. The drop back in trip should suit on ground that will be fine for her. Banada Bridge was beaten a length into second over an extended 2m in Wexford at the start of the month. She is another that has found it hard to get her head in front, but she has form on slower ground. This is a marked drop in trip for Ishan, but he should have more horses behind him that in front of him.

BE MY HERO remains a maiden but he went closer than he ever has to bucking that trend when just touched off at Bellewstown 17 days ago and he could just be worth siding with to cash in off his basement mark. Ishan, who arrives on the back of a good second over fences, low-mileage Bowgate Street and Edge of My Seat head up the dangers. Park of Kings would also be of interest if the market was to speak in his favour.

It was a promising handicap debut from BOWGATE STREET last time and he gets the tentative vote in a wide-open race

16:00 Bath Handicap (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

BEYOND EQUAL has been knocking on the door and this looks a good opportunity to go close once again. The eight-year-old was beaten just a neck by Magnificence over C&D on his penultimate appearance and he can reverse the form with that rival now 1lb better off. Secret Handsheikh is feared most after a comfortable success at Brighton earlier in the week and he appears primed to offer another bold bid, despite the burden of a 5lb penalty.

SECRET HANDSHEIKH turned in his best performance for some time to run out a dominant winner at Brighton 5 days ago and is the percentage call to follow up under a penalty. Delagate This Lord wasn't seen to best effect in his hat-trick bid over C&D last month and is better judged on his previous form as a result, while 3-y-o Cluedo completes the shortlist.

Regal Envoy looks booked for another big run at this track but the unexposed CLUEDO (nap) can benefit from today's stiffer test.

LA YAKEL had a perfectly valid excuse for his Shergar Cup defeat when his rider Joao Moreira appeared to feel something go amiss at a crucial point. The four-year-old has been given a month to recover and remains capable of further progression based on his return effort when runner-up at Ascot in July. Symbol Of Light ran with plenty of credit on his debut for Julie Camacho at Newcastle and is respected up in trip. Akhu Najla is now tried in blinkers and could bounce back from an ordinary York performance.

After 17 months off (had a wind op), SYMBOL OF LIGHT showed improved form on his stable debut when a close fourth at Newcastle and he could still have more to offer upped in trip. He is taken to get the better of Akhu Najla, who also may yet do better over this longer distance with blinkers applied. La Yakel is another who enters calculations.

All six carry doubts but SIMPLY SONDHEIM has been a winning machine in handicaps and is taken to bounce back from a rare poor run.

16:15 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Seahorse Syd showed a likeable attitude when scoring gamely by a short head over C&D last time and while likely to run his race once again, he may be susceptible to some better treated rivals raised 4lb for that success. Therefore, the nod goes to ON BORROWED TIME. Ollie Pears' filly was only just touched off over the extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton last time and she appears to be on a dangerous mark back on turf, while Due Consideration completes the shortlist.

DUE CONSIDERATION is 2 lb better off for a short-head defeat by re-opposing Seahorse Syd over C&D last month and, having again run well when runner-up at Kempton 8 days ago, he could well be the answer. The latter-named is a threat nevertheless, with Star of Lazise, back down in grade, and On Borrowed Time also not out of things.

Slow ground would ask questions of them but SEAHORSE SYD and Due Consideration are closely matched on a recent course encounter.

LTO Selection:

16:20 Lingfield Stakes (Class 3) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

REGHEEB failed to make an impact when pitched into Listed company on just his second career start. The New Approach colt was a comfortable victor on debut, though, and the drop in class can see him regain the winning thread. Montevideo has been a little frustrating, but she sets the standard on official ratings and is unlikely to be far away. Quietness can chase the pair home.

Having made a winning debut at Nottingham back in April, REGHEEB found the step up to listed class too much at Chantilly a month later, but now returning from a 4-month break, Archie Watson's colt is given another chance to progress back in much calmer waters. The main danger may come from Montevideo, who was sent off short-priced favourite but ran far too free on her return at Chepstow 12 days ago, while Pourquoi looks best of the remainder.

Archie Watson's colt REGHEEB looked useful when winning on his debut and can collect this prize before moving back up in grade.

LTO Selection:

16:25 Chester Handicap (Class 4) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GOLDEN MAVERICK posted another career best when finishing second to an easy winner at Haydock eight days ago. Recent efforts would suggest a step up in trip will be in his favour and first-time cheekpieces could elicit the required improvement to see him go one better. Dreams Adozen arrives in search of her hat-trick following wins at Hamilton and Bath. She ought to be more than capable from just 3lb higher, while Urban Outlook might be best placed to chase the pair home.

Cases can be made for several, but preference is for URBAN OUTLOOK, who matched his previous form on return/handicap debut at Kempton recently, and with that sure have blown away any cobwebs, Andrew Balding's charge gets the verdict to come out on top now faced with more of a test of stamina. Golden Maverick has enjoyed a fruitful campaign and he could emerge as the main danger, with Dreams Adozen and Gifted Angel another couple worth a mention.

The choice is DREAMS ADOZEN who still appears to be improving so can shrug off a 3lb rise for her latest Bath success over this trip.

LTO Selection:

16:30 Navan Maiden Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SKRADIN makes plenty of appeal after a close second over this trip at Roscommon in July. The horse that beat him by half a length then followed up in a rated novice hurdle at Sligo last month. Skradin also has a runner-up berth on heavy ground at Clonmel, so the forecast rain won't inconvenience him at all. Sign From Above had a productive Galway Festival as he was placed and then won on the Flat. He has been placed in two of his four races over hurdles and is a threat, up in trip. Arabian Diamond was useful in bumpers and filled the runner-up berth at Sligo on his third start over flights. He is sure to be popular, but the nagging concern is that his best form is on better ground.

ARABIAN DIAMOND shaped best when second in a novice at Sligo last time, going for home sooner than ideal, and he's fancied to gain compensation at the likely expense of Sign From Above, who scored on the Flat since last seen in this sphere. Imperial Class, a stablemate of the selection, is an interesting recruit from points.

After showing good staying powers to win over 1m6f at Galway, SIGN FORM ABOVE is likely to appreciate this step up in trip over hurdles

LTO Selection:

16:35 Bath Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

WE'RE REUNITED (second) had Epeius (fifth) behind when runner-up in a classified event over 5f at this track and now steps back into the handicap ranks. The six-year-old is only 1lb higher than his last winning mark and he is fancied to go in. Suanni was beaten under two lengths into fourth at Wolverhampton and could have a say off a 1lb lower rating, while Tilsworth Ony Ta isn't out of it either.

SUANNI has dropped a long way in the weights and looked back in form when fourth at Wolverhampton last time, so he's worth chancing over a C&D that he's been successful before. We're Reunited, who was runner-up here last time, is an obvious danger and Malham Tarn Cove is likely to be back on his game.

Tilsworth Ony Ta can go well but the unexposed FISHERMANS COTTAGE ran well over C&D last time and has more to come.

16:45 Doncaster Maiden (Class 2) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

BELLUM JUSTUM showed marked improvement from his first to his second start when runner-up at Newmarket and with further progress expected, he can get off the mark. Deira Mile didn't do himself any favours when racing wide and running about a bit on his debut at Sandown, but the fact he was beaten just half a length says much about his ability. Redhot Whisper and well-bred newcomer God's Window can also have a say in proceedings.

DEIRA MILE shaped very well amidst inexperience when third in a good maiden at Sandown last month and, with big improvement expected, he's the most appealing in what's likely to be a strong race. Newcomer's God's Window and At Vimeiro both make plenty of appeal and several others are open to progress.

In a warm maiden, slight preference is for BELLUM JUSTUM who took a big step forward on his second start and can keep progressing.

LTO Selection:

16:50 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The key form line in this contest appears to be a race over 5f at Carlisle earlier this month where Secret Command managed to exploit his opening mark, scoring by two and a quarter lengths, and he is likely to enter the reckoning. He may struggle to defy a 7lb rise, though, so SERGEANT MAYER, who finished second on that occasion, gets the vote. Nigel Tinkler's charge runs off the same mark and has every chance to reverse the form, while Lady Bouquet also warrants a closer look.

SECRET COMMAND proved a different proposition when making a winning nursery debut at Carlisle 9 days ago and he gets the nod to defy a rise in the weights and follow up. Sergeant Mayer, who was runner-up to the selection that day, is feared most, ahead of Musical Diva.

The ground was fast when SECRET COMMAND won at Carlisle but he might just be progressive anyway.

16:55 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

OKAMI kept on well to deny a subsequent winner at Kempton on his latest outing, and the unexposed son of Showcasing is fancied to continue his ascendency and follow up off just 2lb higher. Saturnalia sports first-time cheekpieces having won over C&D last time and must be respected despite a wide draw. Cloud Cover has the ability to be involved, as does the Phil McEntee-trained Bobby On The Beat.

Perhaps best to focus on the 4 last-time-out winners at the top of the weights. CLOUD COVER has the potential for better still on the back of her Wolverhampton handicap debut success and gets a narrow verdict from a handy inside stall. The chief threat may come from Roger Varian's Okami who has fared better with the draw than Saturnalia and Distinguished Lady.

James Tate's filly CLOUD COVER did well to open her account at Wolverhampton given how freely she went and is taken to defy a 2lb rise.

LTO Selection:

17:00 Chester Handicap (Class 3) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

DIVINE LIBRA has made the frame in both starts since winning over course and distance in July and it would be no surprise to see the son of Dark Angel return to winning ways here. That said, Roman Dragon has been knocking hard on the door of late and is an obvious threat to the selection, while Oso Rapido is first-time cheekpieces edges out Glorious Angel to be best of the rest.

A case can be made for a few of these but ROMAN DRAGON has a superb record round here so gets the vote ahead of the handily-weighted Oso Rapido. Divine Libra is another C&D scorer who must enter calculations in a competitive sprint.

This looks to be between C&D winners DIVINE LIBRA and Roman Dragon, the vote going to the former who is the lesser exposed.

LTO Selection:

17:05 Navan Handicap Hurdle 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SIXHANDSINMYPOCKET was placed on his last two starts over similar trips to this one and has each-way claims in an open race. He wouldn't need to find much more to make the breakthrough. Black Tonic has the chance of compensation after unseating his rider at Killarney. He made headway to dispute the lead at the penultimate flight there before losing the partnership with his jockey. The form of that race got a boost when the fourth home came out and scored in Kilbeggan. Hidalgo Des Mottes has been placed in his last six handicap hurdles, so he wouldn't be winning out of turn. Sea Road Fill is one to note up in trip after placed efforts at Sligo and Wexford, while Appian Way and Lets Do This are others to consider.

BLACK TONIC looked the likely winner before unseating his rider at Killarney 3 weeks ago and on that evidence, he's ahead of his current mark. Sea Road Fill is going the right way and is a threat in first-time cheekpieces, with Lets Do This also of firm interest, for all this drop in trip may not be ideal

Having just failed to land a gamble on handicap debut at Sligo, LETS DO THIS is taken to gain compensation despite being 4lb higher now

LTO Selection:

17:10 Bath Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

LILANDRA hasn't finished out of the top two on each of her last three starts, with the latest effort coming when runner-up over C&D, and she has been left on the same mark. The daughter of Equiano can continue her fine form to strike. The main danger might be Galactic Glow (third), who had Bantry (fourth) behind when only beaten a length and a half at Chepstow last month, and he could bounce back from his latest under-par effort at this track.

LORD CLENAGHCASTLE made a solid start for his new stable when runner-up at Brighton 12 days ago and he's well handicapped on past exploits, so he gets the vote in a weak event. Lilandra arrives in good order and should pose a threat, while Galactic Glow is expected to bounce back from a poor showing.

The suggestion is LORD GLENAGHCASTLE, who was beginning to look a lost cause before turning things around on his recent stable debut.

(1) Blue For You 11/1, Resumed winning ways in good style at York (1m, good) in July and probably best to draw a line through his latest effort over the same C&D. However, no obvious excuses at Goodwood on penultimate start and he's probably a shade too high in the weights for now.
Scored readily at York in July but he's yet to defy a triple-digit mark; opposed.
LTO Selection:

17:20 Doncaster Handicap (Class 2) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

SONNY LISTON has long threatened to land one of these valuable mile handicaps, and today could be the day with Ryan Moore keeping the partnership intact. Ralph Beckett's charge has a head to make up with Spirit Catcher (third) from his recent fourth at York but is 2lb better off, while last year's second in this contest, Empirestateofmind, is another leading contender. Completing the shortlist are the likes of Blue For You, Liberty Lane and The Gatekeeper.

Having performed with credit in several valuable big-field handicaps this year, SONNY LISTON is taken to deservedly hit the target. He again has the assistance of Ryan Moore, who partnered the 4-y-o at Royal Ascot where he was a fine second in the Royal Hunt Cup and also when fourth of 19 in a notable handicap at the York Ebor Festival. Millebosc is nicely handicapped based on his exploits in France and he is feared most back at 1m ahead of Empirestateofmind, Liberty Lane and The Gatekeeper.

There appears to be a race of this nature in SONNY LISTON. Second choice is Titian, ahead of Liberty Lane and La Trinidad.

17:25 Musselburgh Maiden (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DIANARA displayed plenty of promise when filling fourth place on her debut at Deauville a month ago and the daughter of Goken could be hard to beat with the benefit of that experience. That said, My Clementine has a similar profile to the selection and cannot be discounted. Asteverdi also holds valid form claims, while any market support for Johnny Ringo should be noted.

DIANARA shaped encouragingly when fourth in a valuable sales race for newcomers at Deauville a month ago and she looks the one to beat with improvement to come. My Clementine could be the biggest threat having shown promise amidst greenness on her debut, ahead of Asteverdi.

It was a useful event in which DIANARA made her debut at Deauville, and she may need only to repeat the form to get off the mark.

Just a length separated Fox Flame and KEHLANI over 1m4f at Southwell 19 days ago and, while the former won well on the day, the latter is 3lb better off under the revised terms and has every chance of reversing the form over this slightly longer trip. As is the case with the selection, recent Chepstow winner Brora Breeze is still unexposed and she can play a role if coping with the additional yardage.

There should be more to come from recent Chepstow novice winner BRORA BREEZE who is selected to improve past last month's Southwell 1-2-3 Fox Flame, Kehlani and Spring Glow and make a successful start to her handicap career.

Andrew Balding's BRORA BREEZE looks to have a fair bit more to offer now she goes handicapping with her stamina drawn out.

WAY OF LIFE bounced back to form when a head second over 1m4f at Wolverhampton two weeks ago and the five-year-old merits the utmost respect off a 2lb higher mark here. Can't Stop Now has to be of interest following his win at Carlisle late last month, while the consistent Compliant is likely to be in the mix once again. Others to note are Chase The Dollar and Bashful.

PAGE THREE has few miles on the clock and shaped better than the bare result (met trouble) when fourth at Kempton last time, so she's worth a chance to show that she's improved for her new stable. Chase The Dollar is well treated and back in form, so he's a big threat, with Way of Life also considered.

The choice is the consistent COMPLIANT whose record since handicapping reads 1213322. She remains unexposed on turf.

DEE CAPO made his debut in the valuable sales bumper at Punchestown in April and was in contention until giving best in the closing stages to finish sixth. He was only 3/1 for that 18-runner race and should have plenty to offer here. Meet My Loreley is a former point-to-point winner who stayed on late for third, at odds on, in her first bumper at Wexford last month. She will be sharper now. Patrick Mullins is a significant booking for former point-to-point runner-up Charming Fortune. This five-year-old gelding has switched to Gavin Cromwell for his track debut and is sure to know his job. Menrva certainly outperformed her 80/1 odds in fourth at Cork.

CHARMING FORTUNE cost six figures on the back of a promising run between the flags and, having joined a shrewd operation, he might be up to making a successful Rules debut. Dee Capo and Meet My Loreley look the chief dangers.

Having gone well for a long way in a decent sales contest at Fairyhouse, DEE CAPO could be a stronger model having had time to mature

17:45 Bath Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Villalobos (second) had Alyara (third) behind when putting in a pleasing display at Lingfield and he was raised just 1lb, which keeps him well in the mix. However, preference is for MACON BELLE, who outran odds of 33/1 to take a big step forward in her form when reaching the frame at Wolverhampton and now steps up from 7f. If she stays, she ought to go close off the same rating. Barleybrown makes some appeal in first-time blinkers.

KENSTONE has lost none of his enthusiasm despite his advancing years and he can make his first Bath visit of the season a winning one. Villalobos returned to form at Lingfield 10 days ago and he's a threat, along with Alyara.

New blinkers and a return to 1m can help Barleybrown but this may be run to suit KENSTONE and the veteran can record another win.

18:00 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BLACK FRIDAY returned to winning ways at Ayr last month and the eight-year-old is hard to oppose off just a 2lb higher mark. The consistent Ascot Adventure should not be underestimated in a race of this nature, but the main danger is Novak. He was progressive earlier in the season and wasn't beaten too far at Redcar last time, a performance for which he has been dropped 1lb.

The vote goes to SHOWTIME MAHOMES, who has shaped as though his turn is near in two starts since returning from a break, latterly when upped to this trip at Thirsk where he put in good late work from a compromising position. It's surely a matter of time before Ascot Adventure opens his account for David O'Meara and he is second choice ahead of Chookie Dunedin, who is lurking on a dangerous mark. Black Friday is also entitled to respect.

Black Friday should have every chance of following up his Ayr success but ASCOT ADVENTURE deserves a break.

18:35 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The consistent MARBUZET gained just reward for some solid efforts when he got up late to snatch victory at Carlisle nine days ago and, with the return to this trip sure to suit, he has a live chance of following up off just 2lb higher. Bobby Shaftoe was less than a length away in third that day and is a live danger off the same mark, while Trailblazer is also feared having been placed over C&D off 9lb higher in May.

Though her stamina is by no means copper-bottomed, LECHRO nevertheless gets the nod in this trappy-looking contest. She was a shade too keen last time but looked better than ever when opening her account at Beverley previously, and there can be hope that she will get home over this trip round here in a race that could become tactical. Bobby Shaftoe and Marbuzet are likely to emerge as the main dangers.

Marbuzet is a reliable type but BOBBY SHAFTOE is not without hope of reversing Carlisle placings given how that race panned out.

19:10 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The likes of The Grey Lass, Aconcagua Mountain and Bonito Cavalo are all capable of going close and each of them command respect. However, the lightly-raced three-year-olds Ski Angel and WHISKEY PRIEST could be the way to go, given both are far less exposed than their elder rivals. The latter is especially tempting off just 3lb higher than when he dead-heated at Yarmouth in July and may provide a bit of value in a wide-open contest.

GLORY HALLELUJAH's latest effort over 6f at Ripon was a laboured one but he is firmly in the reckoning based on last month's placed efforts there and at Beverley. The return to the minimum trip looks a good move. The Grey Lass looks a big threat on the back of a solid C&D effort 18 days ago, while Aconcagua Mountain is surely nailed-on for another prominent role and Lola's Moment also has claims.

Aconcagua Mountain is capable of a big run but WHISKEY PRIEST is given another chance to confirm the promise of his Yarmouth win.
