(4) Lough Lannagh
2Mpumelelo MjokaKevin Thomas ColemanMagna Grecia filly was never sighted after slow start on Roscommon debut last month; probably best watched for now.
(3) Lia Fail
2Gary CarrollMichael MulvanyRespectable efforts in maidens at Naas and Roscommon, possibly not quite getting home on second occasion over extended 7f; slight drop in trip could suit but needs to improve on what she's shown so far to play major role.
3rd (7) Zona Verde
2Ronan WhelanK J CondonDaughter of Calyx chased home the smart River Tiber on Navan debut in April but disappointing favourite at Cork since, showed early speed but faded tamely in final furlong on testing ground; much quicker ground here could suit so not one to readily rule out.
1st (5) Rush Queen
2Ben CoenAdrian McGuinness50,000gns breeze-up buy ran well for long way on Curragh debut last weekend until weakening into midfield over 6f; all the better for that experience.
(6) Zelestial
2Declan McDonoghJoseph Patrick O'BrienZoustar filly showed speed for much of the way when creditable fifth of 12 behind subsequent Group 3 winner Givemethebeatboys in Navan maiden last month on soft; good chance she will improve for this better ground so don't rule out.
4th (2) Blue Poppy
2Chris HayesD K WeldBlue Point filly is second foal; dam 6f-7f winner (RPR 99), sister to 1m Group 2 winner Sovereign Debt, and half-sister to 7f Group 3 winner Puff; nicely-bred newcomer for whom market may prove best guide.
2nd (1) Ashwiyaa
2Shane FoleyM D O'CallaghanSioux Nation filly; cost 12,500Euros as a foal and £26,000 as a yearling; dam unraced half-sister to three winners including Suedois (6f-1m including US Grade 1); promising recent Cork debut, keeping on nicely over 5f to finish third without matching the front two (winner has run well since); should appreciate this longer trip and likely major player.

The Cork run of ASHWIYAA was franked by the winner of that race at Tipperary during the week and with this longer trip likely to suit, she looks the one to beat. Rush Queen, Zelestial and Zona Verde have all shown enough to warrant place claims, although the Weld newcomer Blue Poppy could emerge the major threat. [Alan Hewison]

(2) Es Vedra
3Nathan CrosseW McCreeryFirst foal out of Liquid Amber a Group 3 winner for this stable; never competitive on last month's Gowran debut, looking green; visor now fitted but watching brief advised for now.
(4) Final Check
3Andrew SlatteryJohn S O'DonoghueNever landed a blow on on both maidens last month within a fortnight, some late gains on second occasion at Cork; good bit more likely required here though; yard among the winners of late.

3Shane FoleyMrs John HarringtonDark Angel filly; cost 230,000Euros as a yearling; sister to Group 1 winner Persuasive (Queen Elizabeth II Stakes), half-sister to five winners including Creative Force (British Champions Sprint Stakes); missed two engagements last month but greatly respected on belated debut here from a yard in top form.
(3) Ferrari Desert
3Ben CoenE J O'NeillAcclamation filly cost E120,000 at the Arqana breeze-up sales last year; neglected in market but shaped with definite promise on last month's Navan debut, upset in stalls but finished her race off well when third over 5f; seems sure to come on for that run and could go well here.
4th (5) Freedom Falls
3Ronan WhelanJack W DavisonTwo solid runs in soft ground contests at the Curragh in September; disappointing in a Dundalk maiden subsequently and faces much quicker ground here on seasonal return.
3rd (7) Sibyl Charm
3Conor Stone-WalshJoseph Patrick O'BrienSecond to a useful filly from her current stable on only juvenile run (7f) for Johnny Murtagh and similar level of form on second start this year when staying-on third (having been checked halfway) over this trip at the Curragh last weekend; may ideally want a bit further but big chance nonetheless.
1st (8) Sweetest Rose
3Gary CarrollG M LyonsFront-runner finished runner-up twice in Dunadalk maidens and again at Limerick on turf return in April behind a subsequent winner; barely got home over 1m at Naas on latest start but ran up to form in first-time blinkers; first attempt at 6f here and looks to have the speed for it so bold bid expected and yard coming into form.

Several closely matched here but the drop in trip could be just what SWEETEST ROSE needs and she can get off the mark at the seventh attempt. Sibyl Charm can push her close, while Ferrari Desert could improve enough from a promising recent debut effort to feature. Market support for Jessica Harrington's debutante Nelda should be noted. 3Wayne HassettJoseph Patrick O'BrienDidn't really progress from her Dundalk maiden win over 7f in January although wasn't beaten far on latest start in similar contest; back from a break for turf debut and 10lb claim a positive.

(1) Rumbled Again
3J M SheridanDenis Gerard HoganProgressive this term, notably on better ground over this trip when third at Cork and when decisively landing a competitive Gowran contest last month from Rathbranchurch; well suited by a sound surface and 9lb rise may not prevent a big run here.
(4) Rathbranchurch
3Gary CarrollMichael MulvanyReturned in improved form this spring, finishing second in testing conditions at Sligo and better again on quicker ground over this trip at Gowran last month when second to Rumbled Again, coming clear of the remainder but comfortably held; 4lb better of with that rival here so every chance.
2nd (6) The Snapper
3Ronan WhelanJack W DavisonCork win came in testing conditions but ran well in similar contest on quicker ground last month; pretty exposed at this stage and others likely more progressive; headgear combination worn recently now discarded.

An interesting rematch between RUMBLED AGAIN (nap) and Rathbranchurch who dominated a 45-75 handicap at Gowran recently and steps up in grade here. The runner-up is 4lb better off but the winner had a bit to spare that day and is taken to confirm the form. Portreath is the dark horse of the race on handicap debut with cheekpieces tried. (1) Away To Sea
6Gary CarrollJoseph G MurphyRemains a maiden under both codes but several good efforts on the Flat at Killarney including last summer when second over 2m1f and into an improver in 1m6f premier handicap; took his mark to a career-high on seasonal return there last month, bit keen in first-time cheekpieces and possibly hit the front too soon when third; ground a bit quicker than he's used to but has to be on the shortlist.
1st (15) All In Peder
4Wayne LordanEmmet MullinsModest form until much improved in first-time cheekpieces and quicker ground to land Gowran handicap last month over just shy of this trip, just lasting it out; 9lb higher now so needs to improve again but possible on this ground.
(14) Red Vermillion
8Mpumelelo MjokaKevin Thomas ColemanFairyhouse and Tramore (2m) winner in 2020 and steady return to form this year (having had a foal), most recently decisive win over 1m5f at Navan last month under today's rider (soft); 8lb rise takes her to a career-high mark and quicker ground to contend with but has to be considered.
2nd (11) Zileo
5Ronan WhelanM Halford & T Collins1m5f winner in France two seasons ago and put behind him some modest Irish form at Leopardstown last month when staying-on second over 1m4f off much reduced mark; not yet proven over this far but respected.
4th (6) Queen Of Seduction
4Shane FoleyMrs John HarringtonPlaced form last year included second here over 1m4f and off the mark on second attempt this term when scoring over same trip in Roscommon fillies maiden on Thursday, leading halfway and seeing it out strongly; quick reappearance under mandatory 7lb penalty and good chance of staying this longer trip with likely more to offer.

A likeable winner at Roscommon on Thursday on this quicker ground, QUEEN OF SEDUCTION only now appears to be coming into herself and she is taken to follow up over this longer trip back in handicap company. Other recent winners All In Peder and Red Vermillion look likely dangers from the foot of the handicap, with Away To Sea and Zileo others to consider. [Alan Hewison]

(4) Ferrybank
5Chris HayesT M Walsh16lb lower than her last victory 12 runs ago but did show something to work on finishing 11th of 25 at Cork last time out after seven months off; extra distance should suit; has a chance if she can come on for her reappearance.
1st (3) Dutch Glory
4Siobhan RutledgeRoss O'SullivanWinner of a 7f AW handicap in January; ran a credible race after four months off when tenth at Cork last time out; fourth on AW on previous effort over this trip; will need to settle at this distance but is in the mix if she takes a step forward from her comeback effort.

A difficult handicap to solve but a chance can be taken on MANHATTAN DANDY. He is a 41-race maiden but put in an encouraging effort when third at Roscommon, travelling notably well and he can finally break his duck. Swiss Army Officer stayed on strongly to win at the same track but has found it difficult to follow up victories in the past, while Princess Rajj would be a danger if a return to this track sparks a revival. Both Skontonovski and Simply Sideways arrive here in good form but SOYOUNIQUE might offer some each-way value. He will have to break alertly from his outside draw but is handicapped to strike on his preferred good ground.
