Eur6,000 vendor buyback at the foal sales; probably the yard's second-string of two.
LTO Selection:

Out Of Aces looks interesting as a son of Wings Of Eagles who is related to some decent sorts over hurdles and on the Flat. He is one to watch in the betting, but HARDY STUFF changed hands for 80,000gns at the breeze-ups last year and intrigues having been kept for a hurdling career by Gordon Elliott. His potential pace could be the key here, while Willie Mullins has his horses flying and relies on Ronnie's Rascal, a 9,000-euro daughter of Yeats.

HARDY STUFF makes more appeal. He is by a Flat sire who gets jumps winners and was through the breeze-ups as a 2yo so is well seasoned

Kibris would be the best of these on the Flat with a debut win at the Curragh and a fifth at Roscommon on his latest start and, if he takes to hurdles, he is a big player. BRIDEZILLA has an experience edge, though, after finishing second twice at Ballinrobe and, with her 7lb sex allowance, she looks the one they all have to beat. Potential front-runner Kasper Hauser and Wizard Of Odds are others to consider.

Just denied on the Flat last time at Listowel, BRIDEZILLA was runner-up on both hurdle starts and can go one better today.

Onefortheditch struck here in August 2024 off 6lb lower and although without a win in 13 races since, she has run well off higher marks. Stonecarthy, who showed ability when second at Wexford in May, pulled up at Gowran Park recently and, if he bounces back, he could surprise but JAADIL is preferred. Headed late on when second at Navan, the slight drop back in trip might help her to get off the mark at last off just 1lb higher.

The relatively unexposed MON SHERIFFE has hinted at winning potential the last twice and dropping back in trip should suit him

A respectable third over further at Ballinrobe in August, Couldntmakeitup is another to consider.

Though he lacks a recent run, KEVIN'S PRIDE has gone well fresh in the past and has the rating to take this if close to his best

PENNY PERFECT was no match for a progressive rival at Downpatrick last time out but she still kept on well in second, giving the impression that going up to 3m could prove ideal. She gets that opportunity now and it is likely to be Fad Eadrainn who gives her the most to think about after a recent spin on the Flat at Clonmel, which should have him spot-on for this. A taking winner of a bumper at Kilbeggan, St Lawrence's Well must be monitored for market support on his hurdles bow.

(1) Chosen Shant 7/1, Pulled up in a 2m4f handicap hurdle at Clonmel last time; effective from 2m to 3m and acts on any ground, though her mark looks on the stiff side.
Won twice over hurdles in summer but poor since; has to improve on previous chase runs.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

KAZAKH D'ARTHEL has had a few attempts over fences without success, but his best run came at Thurles in February where he looked to hold every chance before falling at the last. Following a creditable fourth over hurdles at Navan recently, he can strike at the main expense of Rockstown Girl who, despite unseating on her sole chase start, was highly tried over hurdles last season and is open to improvement. Chosen Shant has done well since joining the Aengus King yard and she cannot be ruled out either.

With a rating of 108 over fences, KAZAKH D'ARTHEL is the best horse in the race and can win if jumping soundly.

LUMINOUS LIGHT lost little in defeat when runner-up to a progressive chaser at Tramore last time out and looks competitively treated back in a handicap. Anthony McCann's charge has scope for further improvement in this discipline and he edges the vote over the class-dropping Rebel Gold. The veteran should find this easier than the Grade 2 he contested at Gowran latest and isn't taken lightly. In The Trenches is the pick of the remainder.

LUMINOUS LIGHT gets the vote. He is 2-3 here over hurdles and he shaped encouragingly on his return to chasing at Tramore

CARRIGMOORNA BEECH created a fine impression when making a winning debut at Gowran, and she didn't give her true running when down the field at Limerick in March. The four-year-old looks just the type to have strengthened up over the summer and she may take some stopping if back to her best. Something Fabulous came good at the third time of asking at Tramore and another bold bid is forecast, with Minella Emperor heading the remainder.

SOMETHING FABULOUS(nap) is preferred. Her Tramore win has been boosted and she has placed in a point so she should stay this far.
